West Park Lounge in Leeds

A charming breakfast spot that’s become our local favorite! The place is always spotless, the staff are welcoming, and the food consistently impresses. The breakfast is cooked on the grill, so it's light and free from excess oils – highly recommended! Plus, the prices are very reasonable. Perfect for a regular breakfast stop.

What a lovely evening we had. Catered for a big group of us for my son’s 21st birthday. Food was absolutely spot on and the service was brilliant. We were probably a bit loud when the drinks were flowing but these guys were amazing! Thank you so much

On arrival, it was quiet. The place is clean and nicely set out. The breakfast menu had some good choices. We had the Full English breakfast and a bacon sausage and mushroom sandwich with a latte. (Please see photos attached) The coffee was very nice. The service was fairly quick, and the waiter was polite. It was well presented, and the food was decent. Compared to other places I've been to, it wasn't amazing, but it was more than good enough. They aren't very giving with the butter, though, so don't be afraid to ask for more. I think this place is more on the expensive side. Would come here again.

Their banoffee cheesecake is to die for!

Delighted to have this restaurant/cafe recommended to us. We received good service, nice, food served quickly. We had the halloumi starter. My friend was amazed at the size of the breaded Halloumi and chunky chips. Table red wine was nice. The mains were very tasty. Price was good - we took advantage of the early bird deal. Good wholesome food😀

We went for late lunch on Saturday. 2 ladies & can honestly say it was excellent. Everything was perfect. The meals, drinks coffees & service all fabulous. I had chicken/ avocado /cheese pannini & my friend had Sashouka..... She loved it. Thankyou for looking after us. Will be back soon.

We stopped by here on our way to Leeds airport—two very hungry adults and two hungry kids. We were well taken care of, with exceptionally friendly front-of-house staff. A special mention goes to the chef; the food was delicious and full of flavor. We couldn't fault a thing.

Wow just wow I am stunned of how well this shop make lamb kofta and the falafel was stunning the atmosphere is great and lovely for family's the kofto was cooked to perfection and the falafel looked hard on the outside but lovely and soft in the middle I would recommend highly if you were going to Leeds/Bradford airport or anywhere near once again I would highly recommend this!!!

My wife & I ate here this afternoon (3.30ish) as such the restaurant was quiet with only a couple of others in. We were made to feel welcome, service was quick, the food was good & the prices very reasonable. We both had a hot toasted panini - Tuna melt for my wife & bacon with cheese for me. Bothp came with potato wedges & salad and both were tasty & hot. I doubt if it'll be the last time we eat there - recommended :)

Great food allways up to standard and service is fast and with little to no mistakes chairs and tables are comfortable too

My second visit to this place and we had breakfast and I was disappointed. The pepper mill only splits the peppercorns in two so you have huge inedible chucks of pepper - the salt mill is just as inefficient, my egg had egg shell in it and the sausage was not special at all, very underwhelming, cheap and appeared more like it had been microwaved instead of grilled. Nice place with good reasonably priced food. Lunch menu lacked variety because you have to eat bread, bread and salad or bread chips and salad nothing else.

A wonderful find. Great food and good value for money. Super friendly staff. Gluten free cappuccino cake was the best I have ever tasted.

Gorgeous cakes and pastries. Breakfast was just ok. Had the double English breakfast. Nothing special in it. Bacon was too hard. Coffees are brilliant and the people are so pleasant. We will be back for sure. Lovely ambience outside too.

We all enjoyed tea and cake, but we agreed that the meals looked worth another visit so will be back for more... but when we went back, the bread was stale. We often eat out and most places either bake in the morning or are same day fresh. Hopefully this place will learn to do that, especially at that price very disappointing.

Good food, atmosphere and friendly service

I have been using WPL for a number of years however lately the standard has fallen. Whilst the food is still good the portions have decreased quite considerably. The staff are less friendly and clearly don’t like to talk to customers anymore. The menu hasn’t seen a change for several years. I used to have to wait for a table but nowadays there are plenty available. Time to start and look elsewhere I'm afraid

Whilst visiting decided to try having read the reviews and pickies.Absolutely fantastic!! Myself and partner had a house red and house white which was lovely, then to eat my friend had the fillet steak (10/10 cooked as requested) mushrooms, chunky chips, onion rings, pepper sauce, (the best ever btw) tomatoe and salad garnish, I had garlic bread with tomato a bowl of creamy garlic mushrooms and a feta & olive salad, ( I could of eaten more of the salad personally) also both dishes had a small chunk of homemade Turkish bread which was warm and extremely light, yum! The lady who served us was lovely friendly and the service was high. Said we will definitely visit again. Highly recommend you won't be disappointed!!

Went for a family members birthday as have had lovely meals there in the past. Front of house waitress very friendly but food served was a very low standard. Starter cold and not properly cooked and main inedible! It was a chef special that I ordered. Salmon in the main was also from a tin. Hoping it was just a one off, as previously it has been lovely and a good value meal!

Only been to this place twice, but I loved both. Breakfast..wish they did a tasting plate of it all as it all looks so good. My eggs benedict was incredible. And then I went for a Christmas celebratory meal and that was also amazing! Super service, accommodating to people's wishes and dietary needs. Super place. Good for all.

The owner was there to greet and help where needed. Very polite and great with my family. Food is outstanding and at a very good price too.

In this restaurant I would highly recommend goats cheese bruschetta as a starter and as the main meal creamy chowder salmon is amazing. An ideal place to dine with friends and family. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable.

Unfortunately there is no email address on their website so my only option is to feedback here. I won’t be going back because accidentally adding a bit of bacon to a vegetarian breakfast is a more serious issue than you responded to this. It ruined my experience I couldn’t eat my brunch after discovering it. A small discount off the bill isn’t really in proportion to the issue. Mistakes of this nature need a more suitable response. Some people have allergies or religious reasons that make a pork product in their plate more than just a ruined experience. You need to look at your kitchen processes to make sure you are able to offer foods for diets that require separate cooking facilities.

Fantastic food (the only problem is so much to choose from!) I went for the mixed Gyros and it was delicious.

We often go to the West Park lounge. Never had a problem with food service etc. Would highly recommend it. The staff are very polite and helpful.q

I had a delightful experience at the café in the West Park area. Their breakfast was delicious, averaging £10-£20 per person, and the English breakfast was especially tasty! I must commend the Ukrainian waitress for making a fantastic cup of coffee. The atmosphere was pleasant, making it a perfect spot to unwind.

Went as a party of 4 adults and 2 small children for the early bird menu. Great service lovely food and a good price! We will definitely return

A great place to have breakfast. The service was really nice, staff seemed very happy to work there with big smiles and delightful service. The owner was really lovely too. Considering the restaurant was full we were served very quickly. The food was fantastic. The restaurant has a modern fresh feel to it. Stopped off with my sons for lunch when returning one to University. Elder son recommended the place. He had eaten there several times with friends and said it was great value food. Not disappointed. Mozzarella Veggie (v) with Sundried tomatoes, roast Mediterranean vegetables, mozzarella cheese and pesto sauce was very tasty and the best value food I have had in some time. The breakfast being eaten at the next table and the eggs benedict looked enviable. Highly recommended and will be returning in the future.

We ate breakfast here whilst staying at the big hotel on the ring road, and it was so nice we came back for dinner! Delicious food, friendly efficient service and great cocktails. We'll definitely be back!

Been going for breakfast most Sundays for a while now. This was first time for dinner & taking my partner. She praised the meat moussaka. I had fish platter - cooked to perfection bringing out the flavour without drying out.

What a pleasant surprise! This was my first visit for a number of years and I found a huge improvement. The interior is very different and the menu and food quality were excellent! My friend and I shared the halloumi and calamari starters and then the chicken and the lamb sauté, which was a bit like a tagine and so, so tasty. Excellent!

Very much enjoyed Eggs Royale, plenty of tasty salmon, eggs cooked perfectly, coffee good too, staff friendly. Sat outside on hot day, mid-morning. Lots of passing traffic on main road but it didn't bother us too much. Can recommend.

Food was brilliant however, it was let down by my iced coffee having some sort of bug in it. I went to the lady who said it was just coffee but it quite clearly was not as it had legs! She then proceeded to laugh at me. Very unprofessional.

It was a good experience. Food was awesome. Service was also good. We order Wraps, Cappuccino, Nachos and Coffee Buttercream cake. Flavors of wraps was very hot and flavorful. The cake was very tempting taste of coffee. I felt the problem in Nachos(not recommended). I didn't like the sauce(dip), the chips was good.

Visit this lovely independent regularly to catch up with former work colleagues. Love it so much we don't go anywhere else! Lots of variety, great quality food, good value 2 course deals and really friendly staff. What's not to like!

I have been here many times and the food has always been very good. BUT on my last visit this was far from the case.... The main course was excellent as always, and we stayed for dessert. This is where it went horribly wrong. We had selected four gateau slices and were eating them when my daughter stated hers tasted funny. On inspection, it was full of mould. Examining the remnants of the other cakes confirmed each of the other ones were also full of mould. This was pretty horrific as most of the other cakes had been eaten at least half way. I brought this to the attention of staff, who were very apologetic and took the cakes away. He blamed it on it being a hot day. He stated he would take the cost of the cakes off the bill, which struck me as obviously the least they could do. We paid for the meals, less the cakes, and sadly haven't returned, which is a shame as up to that point we had always enjoyed eating there. I was very dissatisfied with their resolution to this. I had also noted a decline in service over the two years I'd been going. It used to be very quick, and staff were super helpful, but over time this just seemed to decline, which my wife also picked up on. Once again, a bit of a shame as they were previously so good.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The coffee was excellent. The food was disappointing. I had the breakfast. The beans were as hot as the centre of the sun, whereas the mushrooms were cold. Each item was very basic and didn’t live up to expectations. The cake had a synthetic taste and looked quite stale. Disappointing food overall in what was otherwise a great setting with excellent staff.

Visited this lovely restaurant for the second time with friends to take advantage of the early diner menu of 2 courses for £16.99. Can choose starter and main from the main menu. Chose calamari to start and salmon tagliatelle as main. Calamari was tasty and the salmon was absolutely divine. I'd asked for lots of sauce and there was which I was really pleased with. Finished with a slice of cake and coffee. Will definitely be visiting again. Would be nice to be able to choose from chefs specials and pay extra few pounds on top of early diner menu cost

Tried to give this place a chance thrice but it’s always been a letdown. First time came as a group and we ordered paninis - they were ok but certainly nothing to rave about. Ended up falling sick from the fries both times we came. More recently I’d ordered the Cajun chicken and halloumi pasta which was incredibly dry with the chicken definitely not juicy. I’d expected the pasta to be creamier given the description of it. My companion’s calzone was also very doughy and lacked flavour according to them. You’d think the food would be better given the time they took to make it.
