Tuana Bistro in Leeds

Just been for lunch with a friend. Had the giros in large pitta bread with a small side salad and satziki and fries, it was lovely and a large portion. I've only given 4 ⭐️ as it was very quiet as it was a late lunch. Very good value for money.

Dined several times and always been excellent. I don’t know what was going on when we visited tonight 6th March. A complementary pitta bread arrived and then before we’d finished it the main course was upon us. Both had the Lamb Moussaka. One was ok and one was cold in the centre. It was returned and replaced. That was the same, cold in the centre. A third one was served piping hot. Not good that it was the 3rd attempt to get a meal served hot. The restaurant was quiet and seemed to lack the atmosphere of previous visits. Is the newly opened Guiseley restaurant stealing the limelight now? The Adel Tuana was not great tonight at all. Very disappointing and will not return in a hurry.

While this restaurant has consistently been good, our recent visit after a couple of years showed a definite improvement. The food was fabulous and exceptionally tasty.

Last night, a friend and I had dinner at this place. We started with an appetizer, then had our main courses, and still managed to save some space for dessert. The lamb's liver starter deserves a special shoutout - it was fantastic. The service was super friendly and quick, and both of us were really impressed. Plus, it was great value for the money. I've been to that restaurant a bunch of times, and every single visit has been amazing. The food is always delicious, the service top-notch, and the atmosphere is just so cozy and welcoming. Plus, it's in a really nice spot, well-lit, and just feels so inviting when you walk in.

We had an amazing meal! We had a voucher and decided to drop by one Saturday without a reservation. The staff was really accommodating and made room for us. The food was fantastic, truly authentic. They had a great selection of drinks, and the service was outstanding. We'll definitely come back again.

Always a good place to eat, shame it's not more popular, as its never full when I go. The food is always great, the decor is nice and very reasonably priced. The girls who work there have always offered great service and are chatty and smiley. Would recommend a visit to anyone.

We were strolling downtown with my stepfather on a Saturday, looking for a place to have lunch. We stumbled upon Tuana Bistro Adel, which sounded intriguing, so we decided to give it a shot. The staff was really friendly and greeted us warmly, and they explained the diverse menu options. Each of us ordered something different, and we all enjoyed our meals so much that we left with empty plates. We were really pleased with the food, service, and ambiance, and we definitely plan to return.

The meal was great, and the service was excellent as usual. The young servers seem to be trained well, and the kitchen must be well managed too. Every time we come here, no matter what we order, we're never let down.

This was my second time here in the last few weeks. The special mix grill is worth every penny. Will definitely be returning in the next week or so.

Six of us hit up Tuana Bistro Adel, and even though it was bustling, the food was top-notch and freshly made. The chef even tweaked an order to skip the garlic and herbs. Service was on point, and we all felt well taken care of. Definitely a recommendation, and I'll be making a return visit for sure!

Had an amazing dining experience here. The food was cooked to perfection, looked great, and packed with flavor. The staff were friendly and super helpful. The decor was really tasteful, making it a delightful spot to catch up with friends.

All great but be aware that the menu in the Google advert is out of date, for example it is showing the 2 course meal deal at £15.99 whereas their website shows it at £18.99.

Had an absolutely fantastic lunch at Tuana Bistro. It was my first time, but it won't be the last. The food was all delicious, and the service was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the Sirloin Steak; the meat was incredibly tender and flavorful, complemented well by everything else on the plate.

Last night marked our first visit to the restaurant. The outdoor atmosphere was lively and bustling, and we chose to sit on the gorgeous front deck. Despite the high activity, the service remained exceptionally friendly and attentive, with a willingness to accommodate every need.

It has a lovely atmosphere and they’ve made the most of the outdoor space, albeit being on the main Otley Road, still feels comfortable sat outside on a sunny afternoon.

The interior decor is warming with a large tv screen with open flame fire effect which is a lovely setting even on a grey day.

We were searching Turkish restaurant around Leeds for are wedding anniversary. We studied feedback on each one we liked and decided on this one. We were not disappointed, Sunday afternoon not too busy great service. Food was excellent, great presentation, more than enough with a starter and main course. Deffinatly recommend can't wait to go back to try a new dish.

Absolutely superb. Booked for lunch on Saturday 4th November. Had some wonderful bread to start with, not ordered but absolutely deliciuous, then all 3 of us ordered the Moussaka, which arrived sizzling with the most delicious salad alongside. We all agreed it was the best moussaka and greek salad we had tasted. It was a little quiet when we arrived, but then a 3 generational family arrived and, apart from the Yorkshire weather, we could have been eating on the continent. Will definitely return when we are next in Leeds.

We visited this little restaurant this evening! We had a wonderful table in the window and were served by some very lovely ladies. The food was really delicious, we had humous, halloumi and Turkish bread to start - all amazing!! The homemade humous and chargrilled veg with the halloumi were so tasty! We then had the chicken shish kebab, the chicken was cooked to perfection and the side of rice was flavoured wonderfully. I will be eating here again soon! All food was reasonably priced and you get really good sized meals and the restaurant is decorated so nicely! Thanks Tuana for a lovely evening!

This was a right spot. The menu is fantastic, service was excellent, food was superb, great 2 course offer and we enjoyed our food, beers and wine in the sunshine. Looking forward to our next visit;)

Called in on Tuesday lunchtime. We were the only diners, which was such a shame. The service was excellent, friendly and efficient. The food was amazing, we had moussaka which came with tzatziki, a lovely dressed salad and some spicy tomato compote, and a bowl of chips. All washed down with New Zealand sauvignon blanc.

Fantastic local restaurant with great food and drink

Wholeheartedly mean it when I say this was the best meal I have ever been out for. Started off with a really smiley and welcoming waitress and homely vibe. The choice of menu was unique and spot on, the wine was absolutely delicious. Ordered three starters as I was out for an indulgent night and especially when ordering calamari, I expected a small dish. I was totally wrong.. If there was a wheel barrow available id happily have been rolled out on it. Every single thing was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Made with lots of fresh ingredients and seasonings, I cannot wait to spread the word and come back!

Very average food. Being from London I've been spoilt with the choice of Greek and Turkish restaurants and I'm afraid this just does not compare to most I've had. It's ok if you've never eaten real authentic turkish/greek food. It's a real shame, as the decor looks nice.

A lovely experience - visited as a couple our anniversary to celebrate and everything was amazing - very attentive&friendly staff, delicious food and great atmospher!

This place has been my favorite and my first choice. However, this time I had to clean the table my self because the staff were so lazy to do that. In addition, the coffee was served cold and the dessert was below expectations. The manager said the reason for all of this is they changed all the staff. I will never visit this place again and won't recommended for anyone.

Food was not authentic. Lahmacun should not be hot & spicy. İskender kebab should be doner kebab meat not lums of lamb covered with gravy! Also the main courses were served with salad,ezme & cacık. Lose one of these items. Too much on plate.

What a fantastic find! This restaurant exceeded all our expectations. The mezze platter was outstanding and the mixed grill was cooked to perfection. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was exceptional. We will definitely be back!

Been here many times with both friends and family and I can’t get enough! The foods standards since opening have remained exactly the same (maybe even gotten better) Although this restaurant is close to my home, I would have no issue making a further drive as the quality, portions and service are well worth the price. The staff have always been extremely friendly and will cater for vegetarians and other dietary restrictions so you really can bring anyone here. They also offer a bottomless brunch service for only £30 and I was shocked to discover that it’s not very popular?! This place is a goldmine and if you haven’t been here before I couldn’t recommend it enough!

I have dined at Tuana many times, from having full meals and also for coffees and catch ups with friends. I did this earlier on in December and was faced with fantastic hospitality from the lady who served us. This afternoon, however, my experience was completely different. I sat down with a friend for coffee and asked the waiter if they had an alternative to milk, to which he replied he did not and when I replied ‘that’s a shame’ he then said ‘we’re not a coffee shop’. He was very condescending and said he could walk over to coop, as if it was miles away, get some milk and then charge me extra. As he was so rude, I told him not to bother. I was taken aback by his attitude, especially as I had visited in December and the lovely waitress went to get some non dairy milk on her own accord, without any issue at all, despite me saying she did not need to at all. My friend orders a cappuccino and I didn’t order a drink. I was very disappointment with the service we received today and will opt to visit further down the road the next time I meet with friends. *updated* The waiter was very much aware of my disappointment to which he replied that you were not a coffee shop and then proceeded to let me know he will charge me extra for going across the road to get non dairy milk. He knew the problem and continued to be condescending and not apologetic. The experience I had previously experience, was great and exactly what hospitality should be like in the competitive market; whether I leave a good review or not, is my choice. This should not be the problem, the problem is the service I received that day. As you mentioned you work hard to keep a small business running, and we often dine with you to support such businesses, however, it is clear that not all of your staff are trained with the same level of customer service which is why I left the review, that, and so others are aware that you do not readily cater hot drinks for non diary diners. The fact I mentioned that I have received great customer service previously, shows that I want others to know that this is not the norm for your restaurant and that one particular waiter is not up to your usual standard.

We popped in for a light Sunday lunch with my elderly mum. It was warm, the food very well cooked and presented, and we all lived it. It is a Mediterranean bistro but with a Turkish slant . I expect on a Fruday/ Saturday night it is a good place to eat. Recommend. We had the wraps and skewers. 4 of us with drinks about £50
