Called in one lunchtime, only serving pork pies with various fillings ie black pudding, cheese! Excellent selection of beers, wines etc!

Decent pub selling a good choice of guest ales including IPA, ruby, bitter, stout, cider etc — around the £5-6 mark for what we were drinking. Nice that they didn’t just have the typical rail of 8 different IPAs. Got a good corner table and enjoyed a few beers with mates after work on a Tuesday. Conveniently close to Leeds train station. There are plenty of places to grab a beer in the immediate area, but this one is a decent option.

You must head down to the basement for the name of the bank to truly to make sense! Very cool. Not just the pictures of cats everywhere but the old bank vault located down the stairs. Don’t worry it’s not just the men’s loos down there….go on take a looky look

No soy yoosto eso, maravillado un Carlin '. Le pido a 2 Lagers, y no es justo que me dé 2 lagers forra tenna. Leeds tiene un precio bastante alto. El wo summat quiyte remarkabel sobre esta obra. El vaso me trajo cerveza en wo un poco grande que una pinta. Tenía la marca de la pinta de liyne en él, con el hed o 'la cerveza sentada simplemente a tope. Permitiendo 568 milímetros de oro likwid. Jeenius!

If you’re after a fresh pint this may not be the place. Alleged bar manager actually believes it is acceptable to pour stagnating beer that had been sitting around, from a previously poured pint from a chipped glass into a fresh glass and top up the pint. When confronted he acknowledged what he had done and still thought it was acceptable.. I asked to speak to the manager, in response he stated he was the manager what a shining example. Told him he could keep it..

It is great pub with awesome spirit and atmosphere. Wide selection of local beers and nice service. It wasn’t my last visit;)

I am in Leeds with a couple of hours to spare each week and have been exploring many of the pubs. What a diverse selection there is in Leeds. The Bankers Cat has a very comfortable atmosphere. It is handy for the train station. The beer selection is superb, I drink half pints to experience more beers. Some are available in thirds. Leeds.......too many great pubs, so little time, but this one is now always on my list.

Superb Real Ale Pub Full range of Thornbridge Ales including the legendary Jaipur. Lovely building and 5 minutes walk from Leeds Railway Station. A must visit.

1st time visiting the Bankers Cat and was not disappointed, I enjoy Thornbridge beers and did the Brewery tour at Bakewell last year. The place ozes charm and quality with traditional dark wood across the huge wooden bar. Staff are really friendly and welcoming with a large range of Thornbridge and collaboration beers in tap. I had the Lord Marples and at £4:50 for a beer of this quality what's not to like. Looking forward to coming again next time I'm in Leeds 🍻

Very quirky old pub, had a few nice ales. Like all the old wooden cubicles.

Not for me. But that is due to my preference for "main stream" Italian lagers. If you like herman beers etc then maybe for you

A great renovation from a bank to a lively city centre pub. A great choice of beers. I've not eaten here, so I can not comment on the food served here. The decors great, and service is good with the occasional wait when busy.

Tremendous place full of Thornbridge drinks and a few other brands. Great atmosphere inside on a Tuesday afternoon. Easy spend a few hours in here. Well recommended.

Easy to get to before a train journey, grand entrance and spacious rooms. There is a good choice of beers on tap. It feels oldy worldy, with the decor. I didn't have any food

Another favourite of mine in Leeds, good service at the bar even when busy, staff acknowledge you're waiting and will serve you next or asap. Great atmosphere and mixture of old and young, great location for the shops and Station. Good, respectable, interested, polite Door Staff on a busy Saturday night, cracking place to come with friends, solo or as a couple. Excellent meeting point or "One for the road" pub, use it or lose it Leeds.

Now this is a pub. Superbly and tastefully restored. Fantastic selection of Thornbridge beers on cask and draft. Great staff, great location and an all round gem!

Siempre me ha encantado el bar Banquero's Cat. Es uno de los bares más elegantes de Leeds. Sirve una variedad de cervezas, rones, whiskys, licores y mucho más. Este bar nunca me ha decepcionado. Como siempre tiene un ambiente, no necesitas reservas y da una experiencia elegante como si estuvieras en una escena de película de un bar tradicional inglés. El personal es educado, creativo y puede dar sugerencias y consejos en lo que es mejor probar! Por lo tanto, puedo recomendar este lugar.

Wonderful pub near Leeds railway station. Excellent range of beers. I had the Thornbridge bitter which I'd highly recommend. The internal design/decor of the pub is brilliant too. The staff were very friendly. I went to a few pubs in Leeds city centre during a 5-day stay and this pub was easily the best.

Eight real ales and excellent range of other beers. I drank Mind Games 8.5 Thornbridge bottled beer. That good I had drink more . Quality pub very well maintained. A pleasure to visit . Friendly knowledgeable staff. Highly Recommended.

Not here for food, but my boss had come down from Edinburgh for my performance review. Of course, I had to help him recover from listening to how amazing I am with a pint 😄 I usually come into this place earlier in the day so it was lovely to see it busy with office types relaxing and chatting. Always an excellent range of ales here, with one of the finest Thornbridge offerings, Jaipur!!! These people know what a good range needs to contain, with everything from pale, through bitter, to stout - all on cask. If you're looking for a heavy imperial stout, you're out of luck unless there's some cans I haven't spotted, but that's fine. Staff are always lovely and look after you. The front has large windows which makes it nice and light, and the interior has been done in a lovely wood panelled style, with open tables on one side and booths on the other. There are, however, two serious points we need to address. 1. I am concerned about the suitability of this place in the zombie apocalypse. Those large windows will be bugger to defend as there aren't enough tables. 2. The missing apostrophe, which results in the unofficial name of 'the bankers (sic) cat'. Yes, my friends and I are pedants!

Really friendly staff and great atmosphere.

One thing to mention the toilets. You have to go past the mens cubicles to get to the ladies but none of the men using the cubicles ever close the doors. Just need to swap the cubicles around.

I noticed online before the trip that this pub sold Thornbridge beers, so had to call in. it was good to sample the Jaipur beer again

Ignored by bar staff for 10 minutes whilst they served everyone around us, needless to say, we took our custom elsewhere. Very disappointing.

A nice pub and the review would have been higher but for customer service. Spent many minutes at the bar. Staff came to till in front of me and saw me. Told I was “hard to see” stood at the wrong “side” of the bar. My fault then?

Just popped in for a Christmas Eve drink. Enjoyed it. Only in for half an hour. Nice place to be. Buzzing (obvs). Great beer selection. Have a look!

Me and my wife where in Leeds and we chose this pub as it was freezing cold outside. This pub has got to be the warmest most friendliest pub in all of Leeds. Great beer great service. And what a beautiful building. 10/10 from us both.

Fabulous bank converted into a bar. Owned by the Thornbridge brewery. I always visit here when in Leeds. The real ales are always in great condition. I often wonder why the full Thornbridge range isn't on offer?? Some Thornbridge ales are more difficult to track down,so if they are all available, it would be great!!

Great vibe, great service, but terrible beers that tasted off. We love Thornbridge ales but they were not good here. The toilets are abysmal - out of order, dirty and confusing. And miles away from the bar.

There are so few decent ‘pubs’ in Leeds, what with ‘street food’ and ‘craft’ being the norm for new places. This venue is not now new, having been here a while now. The team have changed a little bit, particularly recently, but they still do the same great job keeping up with things and Marcus, the manager, is always happy and smiling. This is my local, I haven’t reviewed it in a while, but I still drop in several times a week and still thoroughly enjoy every visit. Christmas time is coming so I imagine it will be mad busy for a while but I’ll try and squeeze in for a pint of I can. I highly recommend it for a decent drink in a decent pub.

Just a poor attitude to customer service.

This is a more upmarket pub with prices on the expensive side however the decor inside is beautiful, the staff are all very polite and customers are mostly quiet and dignified without the drunken disorder that plagues many other pubs.

Piłem tam kilka piw craftowych, jedno nawet kosztowało 12£ ale było naprawdę tego warte :D Na dole jest wg mnie lepszy klimat, bo nie tak głośno i da się w ogóle pogadać
