Stayed in their lovely loft room. Very clean and quiet, nicely decorated. Close location to town centre. Staff very friendly. Will stay again.

Visited here twice whilst on holiday in Sewerby. We just had coffee & cake which were really nice, chocolate cake was delicious. Lovely staff & friendly service

While I can't speak about any of the packaged options, being in York for 3 years, this was the best meal I have had in the city. From the music and ambience to the service and food, it was perfection. Would recommend to anyone coming for any meal, lunch or dinner. The chicken yakitori in particular was a highlight, with the chicken practically melting in your mouth, and tasting amazing.

Ordered a small breakfast. I had one taste of the hashbrown and grease seeped onto my mouth. I cut a small piece of bacon and took on mushroom and they were full of grease. I left the whole thing. On the way out I complained to the girl who took my order at the till. She said 'sorry about that, I will ket them know'. No offer of refund or even a chat with the owner. I had breakfast there about a year ago and it wasn't greasy. Maybe a change in cooking methods or change in chef.

Perfect! Went for lunch with friends. Service delightful. Food excellent. Interior design just beautiful. Too busy enjoying the whole ambience to take photos! Afterwards we sat outside by the village pond reflecting on the whole experience!

Not all menu options were available - substitutes were twice the price and not advertised. Portion sizes were incorrect given the number of patrons on the table. Waiter was unhelpful/misleading and some dishes ordered weren’t delivered.

Walked in on a busy Saturday evening solo, fortunately though I was still offered a table. The place was so well decorated. Clean-ish. I tried their veggie bibimbap (with the egg). The server kindly asked how spicy I wanted it with the hot sauce, and got "mild" spot on for me. Temperature wise it arrived hot enough. I felt the elements were really creative, and given the flavour it was definitely one of the bibimbaps I've ever had. Note 10% service charge is added to the bill as stated on the menu. To be fair, the service was one of the best I have yet experienced. Friendly and helpful. Great for dates - though I think this is already known locally.

Went with my grandparents today had some amazing food proper Italian food. The staff were friendly and energetic which made the experience so much better. Could not have asked for anything better!

First time in for a Sunday lunch and since before lockdown. Wasn't disappointed, food was as good as always and the staff? A credit to the Inn. Thanks guys

Was up here for work this lovely little local pub in walking distance, was welcomed with open arms the Guiness is out of this world but the food insanely satisfying absolute top marks for the management waiters and waitresses. Strongly recommend.
