Fab location and prices seemed reasonable. Had a coffee that was cold and a piece of flapjack that was awful. It was almost like it wasn't cooked. Took one mouthfull and left the rest which was a shame as we'd walked a few miles to get there. Shame our experience wasn't as good as everyone else's.

One of our favourite tea rooms! This is situated right on the Cleveland Way with plenty of seating in and outdoors. It is traditional fare with plenty of home baked goodies, and done an awful lot better than many other places. There is always such a friendly welcome and as usual we were far from disappointed with our food. We'll be back again in September.

What a pleasure to be looked upon as human beings even though my husband is in a wheelchair. Many places don't want to know you, they look at you as if you've got 2 heads, when they see the wheelchair, not Ravenscar Tearooms, even though space is limited they couldn't be more obliging & as for the All Day Breakfast it was brilliant, it'll last us for 2 days. All of the staff were friendly & helpful, not something you often get these days, & the tearoom was spotless We'll certainly be back & telling our friends& family about you. Thank you so much for making us so welcome.

When in the area we always visit the tearoom. It’s a hidden gem. On the coastal path and the cinder track it’s a perfect stop off for hikers and bikers.Good food and drink are available along with courteous staff. If you read my reviews you will know that it must be dog friendly, which it is but weather allowing there are plenty of tables outside. Give it a whirl you won’t be disappointed. A lot of history in this area.

Had a stroll along the cliff edge and stopped at the Tea Rooms for lunch. Service was friendly and professional and the food was brought to us as we sat outside in the sunshine. Food was tasty and well prepared. One small grumble …. Maybe you could add some balsamic vinegar or a few drops of dressing on the salad leaves without it they were dry and bland and left so we’re wasted. Would still return as we enjoyed the setting and the sandwiches and coffee..

The recently renovated and refurbished tearoom on the North Yorkshire coastal path (the Cleveland Way) and the adjacent Cinder Track (ie. old railway line), this delightful tearoom is a must visit, popular with both walkers and cyclists. Only a few hundred metres from the Ravenscar headland and the National Trust visitor centre. A warm welcome awaits, as do the delicious homemade cakes, pastries and range of snacks, all very reasonably priced. Eat them inside or at tables outside with views of the North sea. Friendly and helpful staff and the spotlessly clean interior make this a most pleasurable visit. In the little square outside you can read about the history of the railway that passed through here and the plans (never fulfilled) to build a tourist resort to compete with Scarborough and Whitby.

Over 100 of us (mainly children age range between 10 - 15 called in for lunch today after a gruelling 20 kilometre charity walk! Myself and 2 more adults were the first 3 into the cafe and spent just short of £50, followed by the rest of the group, who must have spent an absolute fortune on food and drinks. 20 minutes later we were asked by the proprietors to move on as we were "making their tearoom look too busy, and alot of the kids were eating their own packed lunch"! What an absolute disgrace you are, if you hadn't wanted our custom you should have said before we had spent our hard earned money!!! Being in the hospitality trade I, for one know that its a very short season and one day you might be regret being very unwelcoming!!!

With a one way ordering route through cafe and seating on the grass square outside, social distancing is adhered too. We had breakfast, poached eggs on toast, that was brought out to us. The food was lovely and washed down with decaffeinated tea. Which is the only complaint I have, which was that the drinks were served in disposable mugs. I abhor disposable cups and the damage they do to the environment. Some cafes use them as a covid safety measure, which is nonsense, as soapy water kills covid, so washing up teacups will control the spread. Unfortunately, I didn't have my reusable mug with me. Whether they would have accepted this or not I don't know. Next visit I will find out. The lawned square where the tables are situated is lovely and it is good to people watch as ramblers pass by.

Already when ordering tea the staff was quite unpleasant but when we sat at the table we were told that only suppose to eat food from the cafe (no signs or anything on the tables stating this) And if gets busy we should leave the table. We then discussed whether we should take food for our journey and after finding out we would have to detour of the route to get any more food before Scarborough we decided to buy sandwiches to take away. This was excellent advice and we enjoyed them sat on a rock overlooking the sea and didn’t reach Scarborough until late afternoon. Thank you for the advice and the tasty sandwiches.

We arrived on holiday, late, hungry and tired. Decided to pop in for a meal. It was a busy night, but staff were so helpful, friendly and accommodating. Everywhere was lovely and clean and the food was tasty, hot, good value and good portions. Would recommend!

We came here last night for a meal and was one of the best home cooked meals I ever had. The staff were so lovely and we even got to play some darts before our food came!

What a find! This has been the loveliest meal we have had this year. The food is beautiful, my husband had haddock and loved it. I had rib of beef and it was just delightful some of the best food I have had. The landlord was super lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The staff were lovely and attentive but not over bearing. The menu gives lots of choice and there is a brilliant gin menu. They are dog friendly too so we all had a wonderful time- thank you. We have booked up for Sunday lunch when we are next on holiday over here. I couldn’t recommend this place enough
