Food is amazing staff are lovley will defo but returning 10/10

Ordered on just eat, waited an hour and a half and they cancelled it for no reason

Never eaten off the early bird menu before so decided to give it a try , Portions we're smaller but still filling, the mozzarella starter was very nice, Chicken in peppercorn sauce was gorgeous and the tirramasu amazing, Would definitely recommend here

Menu wasn't really for me so had the sharer platter board to myself 👀 great staff, great portions for both starter and mains, very reasonably priced.

Delicious food and unbelievable hospitality makes Sapore a great meat out.

Not sure why I've never been here before. Lovely welcome. Very friendly and attentive staff. Excellent choice of drinks including cocktails. Early Bird menu was very good value for money and the choices were good. Very tasty food using good quality ingredients. Four very happy ladies. I would highly recommend 👌

We had such a lovely night tonight at Sapore. The food and service was excellent and we all felt no obligation to leave a tip but we did! The staff were very smart and polite and thoroughly deserved to be recognised. The food was lush! Didnt wait long to be served and came out hot!!! Very reasonably priced too. Would say that it was very loud at times but that wasnt the restaurants fault. It was other diners who thought it was ok to be loud and raucous while other people were out enjoying a meal! Well worth a visit and we will be back. Thank u for a fabulous evening.

Nice place and lovely atmosphere. The mains were fantastic but I couldn’t rate the prawn starter highly. Quite chewy and the sauce was lacking in flavour. Overall a good experience though and would definitely recommend

Went with 4 others. Very accomodating, service friendly and attentive. We weren't rushed even though we were probably the last table in that night. Great Italian vibe so nice and bustly, food really good, fresh salad to start and lovely fresh pasta. A good mix of waiting staff ( young and older, male and female)with varying levels of experience also led to a homely feel. A massive plus is there is no "discretionary" service charge you are free to reward the excellent service as you see fit! All in all, fab, we will return!

Had dinner here with my daughter and son-in-law and their children, to celebrate my daughters birthday. This is not the first time we have dined here. Every time we have eaten here, we have always enjoyed the food. The service is excellent and we all love the friendly atmosphere

We had our wedding meal at Sapore recently- it was such an amazing experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious (as always), it came out so efficiently even for our large group! Nothing was too much to ask of the team, the service was second to none. We are so happy we chose to dine at Sapore, and can’t wait to visit again.

Honestly one of the nicest experiences I’ve had the pleasure of in a long time… from arrival to leaving the whole team worked so so well to look after my daughter’s wedding meal. The waiting team were amazing and I had my meal and bits off other people’s plates and everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. It was my first time eating at this restaurant but it certainly won’t be the last. So to the whole team I once again say thank you for doing such an amazing job in looking after us all.

First time visit after hearing rave reviews. Mozzarella in carroza was nice except sauce abit too oily and abit tasteless, pizza had a burnt bottom but tasty. The garlic mushrooms could do with bread on the side for dipping, vegetables on main dish seemed microwaved as tasteless amd salad out of a bag, puddings good. Happy to pay early bird price, not so much if full price. Service, price of drinks and atmosphere made up for it.

What a lovely friendly restaurant easily booked on line a table for 2. We went for the early bird and there was plenty of choice and going for the garlic mushrooms and tomato and mozzarella for starters we was very pleased when they arrived with some lovely warm bread too was delicious. For mains salmon with prawns for me and sea bass with prawns for the wife when it arrived looked and smelled delicious and our taste buds wasn’t disappointed either tasting fresh and flavoursome we opted for a bottle of wine with our meal and was reasonably priced and refreshing not being rushed we enjoyed our food and wine opting for a pudding to share to round off our meal was a choice of the specials board and recommended by the waitress a great decision as there was plenty for 2. I highly recommend this restaurant as it’s very reasonably priced and the food is delicious. Looking forward to trying out more on the menu.

I live in Huddersfield and Sapore is the best Italian restaurant that's within reach of us. Our fourth visit last night and the food and service have been consistently excellent each time.

We had a very delightful meal here. The atmosphere was great, service fantastic with authentic delicious food. Best place we have been for a long time. Reasonably priced for too. Highley recommend.

What an absolute Italian gem. Lovely polite welcoming staff, we didn't book just called on the off chance. The food was amazing, we had spare ribs and garlic mushrooms to start and was brought the most fantastic home made bread for the table. For mains we had the Linguine with crab & prawns AND OH MY GOD - DELICIOUS, and also the Pizza Calzone and again absolutely gorgeous including the homemade tomato sauce for the topping 😋. Thank you so much for fitting us in - we'll definitely be back!

The quality of the food at Sapore v’s the price point is exceptional and you’ll struggle to get better for the price anywhere in Halifax. Service is also very good, the restaurant does lack atmosphere and ambiance that’s partly due to the shape of the building and the table layout and simplicity of the furniture. If you are looking for more elegance and ambiance this isn’t the place for you. If you are looking for great Italian cuisine at a great price get yourself here.

Waited over an hour for food, food was very average and fairly tasteless, thought it was expensive for very average food and slow service, hard to here people speak on your table for the noise as there is no sound dampening and your sat close to other tables.

Had Xmas day dinner here. Everything and everyone was absolutely 5 star. X

We were there just after opening and wasn't very busy - filled up while we were there with a mixture of couples, families and groups

I had my 60th birthday celebration on Saturday 22nd April. The place was lovely, lovely atmosphere and the food was lovely, food was 10 out of 10, lovely variety of food, staff were warm, welcoming, smiling, accommodating and really looked after us and there was 17 of us, everyone loved the food no complaints, many of us would certainly come back including myself. I had an amazing night. I would highly recommend anyone to go there whether its for a birthday celebration or just for an evening out.

Ist time here. The five stars for everything say it all. Professional friendly service with great food at fair prices. Very busy. I would recommend booking, however we were a group of 5 with no booking and they worked hard to accommodate us. Thank you.

New Client 1st time, out with friends. The food was absolutely bagging. My starter was Spare Ribs the meat fell off the bone, the sauce was lovely, I can't say much more as I enjoyed this dish immensely. My main was a Pizza with cheese, tomatoes, pepperoni and jalapenos. It was a pizza but again it was lovely, fresh and I ate everything on my plate. Staff were very attentive, chatty and could not do more for you. Excellent customer service. Atmosphere was noisy due to a large group right next to us, but the staff had asked them to lower the level of noise, I did not complain personally but was happy that they had been asked . Overall: Everyone in my group said much the samething, 5/5 from us all, and the biggest compliment we will be back hopefully is again the same experience. PS: Personal thanks to all the staff. PS: Genuine paying 1st time client, this is my own experience and views.

Food and service spot on. The amount of flavour in my garlic mushroom starter was divine. My mother in law had pizza garlic bread (which is pizza size, don't forget you've got mains =P). Lasagna was very hot, but very nice. Table was ready when we got there, which is a nice touch. Staff were pleasant and not invasive, but always there to help if you needed it. Definitely visiting again

Very noisy environment on our visit. Prawn cocktail was tasty and fresh. Calzone pizza and accompanying tomato sauce was bland - seemed to lack seasoning. Spinach and Ricotta Cannelloni was a touch on the firm side, plenty of filling. The tomato sauce needed more oomph. Service was excellent

Love this place, but don't go often enough. Food is always great. Staff are really helpful and friendly. There's even an early bird menu (to 7pm when we last went), which has a great choice off the main menu. Worth a try!

The staff are very friendly, they are also knowledgeable about the food so any questions are dealt with promptly. The food is delicious, I was in a group of 6 and everyone was very happy with their meal. I would be happy to recommend Sapore to anyone & everyone.

Wow…….. from start to finish don’t know what else to say. Food 10/10 great atmosphere and service. Had calamari king prawns to start with and then had a pizza for main course all perfect and generous portion size. Visited numerous times now and it’s always bang on. Defo recommend if you want authentic Italian and want value for money

Fantastic service, great food, definitely worth a visit.

Ours was a takeaway order and for restaurant priced food it was a bit if anlet down to see it in the cheapest polystyrene packaging. Every other restaurant makes some effort at presentation given you are buying £12 mains and not a £4 burger. Reasonable portion sizes, but undercooked, cold chips and pasta that looked reheated (congealed pasta sauce) and not fresh. Service wasn't great, was told the food was ready by the app and staff went to get it, and instead went but instead started waiting on tables. The Pepe sauce was a let down, almost flavourless but the chicken was really nice. Overall a bit of a mixed bag and will probably only go back if we are eating in.

If I could rate this higher than 5 stars I would! Everything from service, drinks,food and atmosphere was exceptional. Will definitely be going back here and highly recomend people to try it if they havnt been before.

Went for starters and mains for four.. Venue is nice, bright modern and pretty stylish. Staff were friendly too. The bread that came out first was fabulous. Sour dough made on site and delicious. Starters took a while to arrive, and ranged from ok to good. Calamari was a winner. Mains took a while to arrive too. Overall they were ok, but nothing great. Seafood tagliatelle was the best. Accompanying Orvieto classico wasn't anything special either. Overall food was fine, but lacked flair. Medium value for money, but service was slow and not quite good enough. Worth a try I'd say, it's obviously popular but manage your expectations.

The food was good and the service and attention to detail were very good. I would say that Sapore is an ideal choice for a cheap and cheerful dining experience but with a better standard of food than is normally found at these prices
