McQueen's in Harrogate

Early morning coffee and tea cakes. Both were great and served by two very friendly staff. A relaxed atmosphere with great music.

Just had the fish finger sandwich and 'proper chips.' Made fresh to order, really tasty and the coffee was great. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Give this cafe a go, you won't be disappointed.

Friendly owner and staff. I had eggs Benedict. The eggs were firm. The menu described the bread as thick cut. I thought thick cut from a loaf would be ok. Unfortunately it was sliced white. £10.00 is a high price to pay for one slice of cheap bread and two firm eggs. The hollandaise was ok. My husband had full English which was better than mine. Again the bread was cheap white sliced. Again a high price for the quality. My review is based on the fact that as a retired couple we regularly eat lunch out at cafes. The price and product don’t compare with other places we have eaten. We didn’t mention anything at the time as there was only one other couple in the cafe and I felt embarrassed and fleeced. The decoration in the cafe is eye catching.

What a fantastic breakfast and warm, friendly service. Even Bruce (black lab) was given a bowl of treats! We will definitely be going back there.

Me and our family went here for mothers day breakfast treat but unfortunately the sausage and egg are burned. Our coffee gone cold waiting for so long for our breakfast which normally not like this. The 2 girls at the kitchen chatting and giggling around which we think the reason why the food is burned and take a while for them to serve. Very disappointed that it happened to us on a very special occasion.

Fab Full English (sausages were yummy), a decent Flat White and great service. Hubby liked the artwork and memorabilia. We will be back!

A great quirky cafe with amazing food. Very dog friendly greeted with dog biscuits and the dogs were pleased with the doggy breakfast that followed. The chicken balti pie was delicious and the lamb burger was the best ever tasted. A delightful birthday treat and the cafe owner kindly gave the birthday girl a piece of cheesecake to celebrate when she got home. All in all a lovely visit

Happened upon this cracking cafe whilst killing an hour in Knaresborough. Warm welcome, yummy breakfast, great music and Leeds fans. I'll be back!

We called in at McQueens for breakfast on the way to Skipton on Saturday. We are both looking forward to visiting having seen the pictures and reviews online. Breakfast was wonderful although I personally dodged the Yorkshire Veg. The sausages were some of the best I’ve eaten. The quality of all the ingredients was tiptop. Service and atmosphere were also fabulous. Definitely stop there again.

Feel upon this cafe while house hunting in the area. Food was good, took a while to come out but it was cooked fresh so no worries. Friendly staff, good vibe. In not a dog person but am not worried about them being in there but 4 big dogs the day we were there was a bit much. Lovely sausages xx

Great breakfast menu.. but The york pudding stack was AMAZING! Followed by the biscoff cheesecake .. delish! Great decor, with memorablia available to buy if you wanted to too.. and really lovely staff. And the music topped it all off! 5 stars!

Lovely quaint place, Deco is fabulous, bfast was lovely just a little over cooked (sausage,bacon n hashbrown) but well worth the £10 as plate was full and the toast was lovely crusty bread...yum. A big plus for me is its dog friendly...Big thumbs up 👍

We love McQueens! We have visited a few times for both the breakfast and lunch and the food is always amazing and the staff are so friendly and kind :) also love the decor and interesting artwork. If you visit you must try the fat boy chips!! I also love the posh eggs

We waited 45 mins for breakfast to be served, and only one couple in the cafe at the time, the place was dirty tables and condiments on the table, floor and place dirty, will not return !!

We were enticed into this lovely coffee shop in Knaresborough High Street by the “Cake” sign outside the door as I wanted cake for my birthday.
