The best restaurants in West Midlands

Not good - sausage on my sandwich was sparse - served cold! Over all, not impressed for the money spent!! Would have expected at least a few sausages and for it to be served warm!! McDonald’s is better quality!

average food stuff like toasties, breakfast baps and omelettes e.g. Nice cakes however cash only is a bit annying.

We visited The Colmore yesterday afternoon 4/11 with the intention of popping in for a quick civilised drink away from the hustle & bustle of the German market. Whilst enjoying a lovely glass of Prosecco in comfortable / plush surroundings with gorgeous smells emanating from the kitchen, we decided to stop longer and enjoyed another drink and a leisurely lunch. We perused the menu and even though the lovely lady server was kind enough to offer her recommendation of the cheesy garlic bread with nouja as a lighter option when she heard us say we didn’t want much., our mouths were already watering from reading about all the different pizzas, so we opted for the carnivore pizza, olives and bbq dip. WOW- I’ve always said my favourite pizza was one we enjoyed in Naples years ago and no UK restaurant has ever come close to this - however the colmores pizza is now my joint best ever pizza - cooked to perfection, served piping hot and plentiful toppings which covered the whole base- an absolute taste sensation and the BBQ dip was sublime. The colmore ticks all the boxes - for super service, lovely surroundings, fabulous food & an extensive selection of different drinks.

Had a buffet for daughters christening, communication was really good from start to finish and food was great will deffo use again thank you x

Went to Jones's with a group for a Christmas meal. I've lived in Market Drayton for years and have only ever been in for coffee before. What a surprise! The meal was amazing, everything was cooked beautifully and the service was great, all in all...

We have had lovely lunches here previously so went with high expectations. The ciabattas are delicious & come with some salad, coleslaw & crisps. Sadly the salad bowl, as a main option, was expensive for what it was & extremely disappointing. Lettuce (Iceberg & way too much), cucumber, red pepper (way too much), celery, tomato & onion. So boring & unimaginative & a very poor option for vegans & vegetarian. I ate my husband’s crisps which helped. I love salad and eat it every day for lunch, but this defeated me when it could have been livened up quite easily - even some coleslaw would have helped.

We ordered a delivery for breakfast. Parethas and paneer samosas. We were very impressed with the way the food was packed. It arrived in a sealed box and all of the individual items were also labelled. That said all the food was very authentic and not greasy at all. We look forward to trying their other dishes too.

I was foolish enough to choose a dish too spicy for me, I asked Irina If she had anything to cool it down, she whisked it away and asked me to make a second choice she delivered the second meal free of charge and with a smile. We moored in Ellesmere on our narrowboat holiday and went in search of something to eat. Not wanting a full-blown restaurant meal we dicovered the Coco Coffee Bar. We made the right choice. The jacket potatoes are simply gorgeous. With a large enough variety of fillings to suit most tastes. Accompanied by a nice, crisp, fresh salad. As it was a really hot day we all had soft drinks so, unfortunately, can't comment on the coffee. However, the lady owner was really friendly and chatted with us for quite a while, which was lovely. (We were the ones enquiring about the drop peppers). If you are in the area, don't walk past this little gem.

Superb cafe. Fantastic freshly cooked breakfast made to order. Lovely staff and great atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

My two colleagues & i hade breakfast here today, however we did complain that the breakfast was very small compared to what we have had previous with items missing, toast, sausage, beans how ever when we got back to our work place the three of us had stomach cramps & we had to run to the toilet. We definitely will not be returning & will most definitely NOT be recommending....
