We arrived at the star and were immediately greeted by a lovely member of staff. The fire was lit and that made it so lovely and cosy. We were shown to our tables quickly, welcomed and menus given. The food and service was excellent. Lovely home cooked food. Good generous portion size. Nice children’s menu with a refined adult section which was lovely for a treat. Definitely recommended. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. Great recommendation for lagers as well!

Very nice family meal. Food was excellent. Good amount and really tasty. We all had a lovely evening. Good service as well.

Excellent service meals were good No problems. Chairs are quite stained though which is a shame. But happens in most pubs. Might be a good idea to get them cleaned looks better

Amazing food pasta was lovely as was the lasagne and great attentive service. Best Italian dish ever - don’t tell my wife.

4 of us came here for an anniversary celebration. Not huge place but lovely location & great ambience. We were very well looked after, we asked questions about the menu & specials & everyone was very knowledgeable. Food was all divine, beautifully presented & full of flavour. Everything cooked to perfection. Can totally understand why they are so busy here, 5 * all the way, many thanks.

Wonderful food highly recommend the Sunday roast. The carrots were a smash ! The gluten free options were amazing highly recommend to all the celiacs out there . The staff made us feel so welcome and comfortable.
