Not sure what has happened but the windows at Farina's are covered and the place is being ripped out and i mean stripped out totally. Was in there Sunday 23rd June 24 and we go a lot! 2 weeks later it is closed? 🤔 Anyone knows what's happening please post. One of of the best local restaurants and definitely my favourite, for both food and staff. I'm hoping it's a refurbishment, but think it would say that. Went for lunch with family few times. The place look very nice and the staff are very friendly and helpful (always smiling). The food is delicious and for the size of portions the price is quite cheap. I consider this restaurant one of the best in Sutton/Boldmere area!!!

Went here on 5/4/24 for a pre show meal. After looking at reviews online we decided to try this restaurant. It did not disappoint. The service was great , the food was amazing . Having been to quite a few restaurants this has got to be one of my favourites. Can definitely recommend the minestrone soup and the sea bass. We will definitely be going again very soon !

Have dined near this restaurant many times but didn't realise this place was here. What a gem of a place. They managed to accommodate us at short notice on a Friday evening. We shared a cheesy garlic bread for starter which was tasty. My husband had the steak which he said was perfectly cooked. I had the pollo a la crema which was very good, both came with a decent sized side. Great restaurant, good service and great value for money. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended

So this restaurant is decent. I ordered a garlic bread that was very tasty indeed and enough for starter and ordered the lamb kebab skewer for main which was also delicious. It was served on the skewer with a tasty variety of vegetables. The menu has a wide variety of Mediterranean options that I certainly will return to try.

The menu seems massive which always worries me (maybe I’ve been watching too much Gordon Ramsay!)… but every time we’ve been we can’t fault the freshness. The ingredients are actually very versatile and everything is cooked fresh. The food is delicious and overall the value for money is excellent! The waiter that used to be there could be a little overbearing but I believe he’s no longer working there which personally I think will be a real plus point. This is a little gem and I hope to see the restaurant continue to go from strength to strength.

A spontaneous visit after a school open evening. We had rushed to get to school so all 3 of us were very hungry. The owner was really friendly, kind and welcoming. Husband had a margarita pizza, fussy eater daughter had carbonara for the first time and loved it. I had pasta verde, which was delicious. Thank you - will return x

Went Farina with a friend, we were asked three time to take starters away, apparently our fish were cooked.Our swordfish were so dry and we told the waiter but he didn't do anything. It was a bad experience that the waiter timed wrong for our main course and the fish tased like chicken. Never go back or recommend to friends

Excellent food and service. A few of us ordered from the Specials menu (I had a delicious chicken with tarragon and asparagus) which are served with either fries or vegetables. I opted for vegetables and they were the probably one of the best side dishes I’ve ever had. Good portion and variety of veg. Everyone I was with loved their meal including a calzone, Greek style salad and pizza. There’s a great variety on the menu.

Started really well. It’s a nice place, small and friendly. Starter was good, we had olives and bruschetta. Offered water for the table which we didn’t realise was not complimentary and cost us £4.50 when other tables just had a jug of water. Staff tended to us for a few minutes at the start but plates were left for ages in front of us once finished starter & main. They had bigger groups in which were demanding more attention but we were looked at by some staff and ignored a few times. Main was underwhelming, I had the pollo royal and the saffron was massively overpowering for the amount of sauce. Veg was nice though. Spag bol was tasteless. Won’t be returning unfortunately.

We arrived to an empty restaurant on a Friday evening which should've rang alarm bells. We were greeted by a waiter who was in all fairness was polite and welcoming. However, the menu was overwelming and the food was very disappointing. Our waiter approached us an uncomfortable amount of times to make conversation. The greeting was enough, we didnt want to be entertained we came out for eachothers company. He broke a glass by my girlfriends foot and failed to clean it up properly. My girlfriend and I both ordered chicken dishes. The chicken was tough.The bowls in which the side orders were in were roasting hot suggesting they've been reheated in the microwave. We complained. The waiter and chef then began arguing in the open kitchen. Overall the quality of food and service was very poor. Avoid at all costs!!

Most of the food was very tasty. Unfortunately our side dishes had been forgotten and arrived to the table about 10 minutes after our main course. The service was very friendly but for a Saturday evening they need more staff, particularly someone dedicated to the bar and bills. We were seated near the bar/kitchen as we booked last minute but this made it very busy and not as relaxing as we'd hoped. A lot of potential if staffing was improved. The tiramisu was the best we've ever tasted!

Chicken and kamb marinated meat fairly dry and tasteless on a sprinkling of some sad lettuce leaves. Both myself and friend had this but wouldn't order that again. Overall, a bit disappointed
