Beautiful experience for Iftar! Food came right on time, got given free dates, starter and tea! Sara was the best hostess 😊

Fabulous food and service. A wonderful dining experience. Fresh ingredients cooked extremely well. Everything we tasted was delicious. Super warm welcome from our lovely server. Probably the best Eastern Cuisine we've had. Really good value for money. Absolutely loved it. It was so good infact that we ordered takeaway to our hotel tonight. We had chicken, which came with vermicelli rice, which is super delicious, a large pitta, cubed potatoes and dressing. It was, once again absolutely delicious. It was great value for money, came very quickly and was piping hot.

First time visit with two friends on 01/03/25. I cannot believe I haven't been here before! The service was great and the food was absolutely amazing!! I went for the kofta meshwi which I really enjoyed, delicious kofta with bread, rice, dip and side garnishes. A bottle of Beirut beer to wash it down with and a side of chips. Freshly baked flatbread and tasty hummus for starter. We all agreed that we will be back! Thank you.

Visited Syriana by chance last night & what a wonderful treat it was. Looking for somewhere to eat & resteraunt looked so inviting we walked into a warm welcome from Sara & staff. She kindly talked us through the menu & we chose the set meals. The starter was tasty & and bountiful - she even brought us extra bread to finish the delicious dips. Hubby had mixed grill & I had a Lamb dish that was so succulent & tasty. Loved the accompanying Rice with both meals. Finished with Baklava & gorgeous Mint Tea. Could not have eaten any more & felt at home with the service & welcome. Only wish we lived nearer - 3 hour drive is a bit far but would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fabulous meal. There are no photos as I didn't have my phone, but it all looked amazing.

Fantastic Lebanese / Syrian food. A charming family run restaurant, lovely atmosphere and staff. Great mezes and mains. For drinks would highly recommend the 'Syriana sparkling' mint / lemon ice blend. Great place for vegetarians too!

We had the set menu which was £25 each and we left wayyy too full. Sara was amazing :) and was such a great hostess! She delivered above and beyond what we expected! Good food and wonderful service!

Outstanding food and service. Came for dinner, we ordered a chicken main and a mixed grill and were given a salad, starter and tea at the end on the house. Incredible service from Sara our waitress who was genuinely attentive and excellent at her job. Food was outstanding, tasted fresh, cooked to order and very high quality. Large portions, cheap. Large options for everyone, grilled meats, vegetarian dishes, salads, warm and cold mezze.

On the night that we went it was very quiet, just after Christmas but the food, hospitality and service were excellent. Excellent value for money. Will definitely go back - but maybe when the weather improves and not so cold 😊.

Atmosphere was amazing. The food was spectacular and the lamb was so succulent.The service was exceptional especially catering to allergies. Sara was a wonderful waitress and made our experience of dining in so pleasant. She’s a star. 10/10 to this place!

5/5 stars! We had an incredible dining experience at Syriana Restaurant! We ordered the Shish Taouk, Mixed Grill, Veg Rice, and a Large Mint Tea. The meal started with a delicious complimentary serving of hummus as a starter, which set the tone for the rest of the meal. Each dish that followed was equally impressive - the Shish Taouk was tender and flavorful, the Mixed Grill was a perfect blend of meats, and the Veg Rice was surprisingly amazing! The Large Mint Tea was refreshing and just what we needed to wrap up the meal. We loved every bite and sip of our experience at Syriana! Highly recommend!

Food was not good . I like Syrian food but that was not good . Also it was so expensive . Would not recommend

it's my first time in this restaurant, everything is so nice food, location, atmosphere and service. And so much cheaper than restaurants in London. Highly recommended.

First time here, overnight business trip. The meal I had was so delicious, flat bread w/ dip for starter, followed by a lamb soup and thr mixed grill. All of it was fantastic. If your looking for good, no frills, I would definitely recommend.

The initial feelings where mixed as yhe place was empty. That sounds passed when the food arrive. Brilliant, fresh and really tasty. Service e was good, happy and attentive. Value for money here is a true plus point. A big meal with drinks £275 for 8 people.

All those years I drove past this restaurant as I presumed it was old and tired looking from the exterior. However looks are deceiving! This place has exceptional fresh wholesome food. I have been missing out for many years; do not be quick to judge. We ordered mixed grill, chicken soup, warak inab, moutabal and juice. The juice was freshly squeezed and the food was beautifully made to perfection and reasonably priced. Can’t wait to come back and try other dishes from the menu.

They sent me a chicken with unclean feathers, which was disgusting to me. I don't recommend it at all

One of the best value for restaurants in birmingham. Mixed grill for one is good value for money. Highly recommend to students. Flavours are very traditional. Service is very good, Sara is a very professional waiter and always attends to your needs fast. All in all, a 10/10 experience.

The place is beautiful, decent. The employees are friendly and helpful, and also polite. I liked their food, it wasn't too spicy or spicy. But I can't say it's extra delicious, except for meat. They forgot to leave napkins on the table. It wasn't very crowded. I loved eating with local music.

Ordered 4 falafel wraps for my family. Delicious and fair sized portions. I would have liked it a lot more with (more?) tahini and hummus; they were pretty dry.

We were greeted by a very lovely lady, who was extremely sweet and there was quick service. Their drinks and food (especially kofta) was amazing and we also got complimentary mint tea which was amazing! Such a warm environment with good food, definitely recommend :D

Quiet atmosphere after 6 pm on a Sunday. The dish I had was called something on the lines of 'Kredes'. A prawn dish with rice, seasoned potato, red cabbage, and a type of bread with tomato paste that made it taste like pizza. The prawns were a bit spicy to me, but I think it was just a certain ingredient that was triggering me. I'm not sure if the potatoes were very flavoursome or just really salty, but they tasted spicier than the prawns.

Food was absolutely delicious. We had the baba gahnoush, the shish tauwk, the syriana cocktail and some Arabic tea. The food was very succulent, very tender and juicy. Rice was cooked to perfection. The cocktail was absolutely refreshing. The hospitality was amazing, the staff were very welcoming and an absolute delight! Would definitely recommend!

Unkomplizierte Tischbestellung, ausgesprochen freundlicher Empfang, großartiger Service und das Essen (Wir hatten das Menü.) war excellent. Die Vorspeisen waren der absolute Hit, das Fleisch saftig und gut gewürzt, der Reis sehr lecker. Es war soviel, dass wir nicht alles essen konnten. Die Reste wurden uns getrennt eingepackt. Super Service, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut in Ordnung. Ich empfehle das Restaurant wärmstens.

A restaurant I have to visit whenever I come to Birmingham, its delicious food and beautiful atmosphere makes me want to come back again every time. I highly recommend getting for appetizers hummus, and Borak Jobneh, very tasty 👌🏼, and for mains I liked Samak Meshwi, and lamb Shakiryah. They also served us tea after we finished, very generous of them. Everyone was welcoming, and we got served by Zuzu, who was very nice and welcoming. Highly highly recommend it 👍🏼.

Hi, My family and I went there.The lady who served us was Sara. She was very nice and warm. The environment was calm and quiet. But i want to say that the food that we ordered the quality was good, the taste was delicious, but the amount of protein in the food was very low. The meat and chicken used in the food were low. Sara smiles every time to order, and this can be the positive point of this restaurant. Thank you 🙏

I visited Syriana when I was in town for a gig. I love this sort of food, and I wasn't disappointed. Absolutely lovely, and the people were equally lovely - receiving a mint tea 'on the house' was a very nice touch. I hope it's well supported by locals, as it deserves it. I'll make an effort to visit again the next time I'm in Birmingham. Thanks guys!

Good food. First time experienced Syrian/ Jordanian food and it is well cooked. Service was very very good. Sarah has very good communication skills and too good manners.

The staff were lovely and very welcoming. The atmosphere is very homely inside. The food was of excellent quality and I would recommend it again.

One of the best meals I've eaten in a long time. An absolutely incredible selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, all of which were incredibly flavourful, as well as delicious drinks and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

The food was cold and tasteless, they could not manage a group of 30, all the starters were the same, main a choice I did not stop for the desert for £30 a head it's a big fat no from me, if they go up Lozells road they sell lots of spices, which the food had none.....the female server was lovely, but a bit embarrassed that food was cold....

I orderd 5 shawarma in eid day, 15 min before get there, i waited 20 min in the restaurant to take the wraps, i got boiled chicken with no garlic sauce, minimum amount of chicken in the wrap. I dont think this is shawarma.
