We found this restaurant by accident when looking for lunch, and we were so pleased. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The food was so yummy, affordable and excellent value for money.

The initial feelings where mixed as yhe place was empty. That sounds passed when the food arrive. Brilliant, fresh and really tasty. Service e was good, happy and attentive. Value for money here is a true plus point. A big meal with drinks £275 for 8 people.

All those years I drove past this restaurant as I presumed it was old and tired looking from the exterior. However looks are deceiving! This place has exceptional fresh wholesome food. I have been missing out for many years; do not be quick to judge. We ordered mixed grill, chicken soup, warak inab, moutabal and juice. The juice was freshly squeezed and the food was beautifully made to perfection and reasonably priced. Can’t wait to come back and try other dishes from the menu.

They sent me a chicken with unclean feathers, which was disgusting to me. I don't recommend it at all

One of the best value for restaurants in birmingham. Mixed grill for one is good value for money. Highly recommend to students. Flavours are very traditional. Service is very good, Sara is a very professional waiter and always attends to your needs fast. All in all, a 10/10 experience.

The place is beautiful, decent. The employees are friendly and helpful, and also polite. I liked their food, it wasn't too spicy or spicy. But I can't say it's extra delicious, except for meat. They forgot to leave napkins on the table. It wasn't very crowded. I loved eating with local music.

Syriana is one of the best restaurants for Arabic food with great ambiance and excellent service by Sarah. She made sure that food served was fresh. Highly recomended for hummus and mixed grill platter. Definitely going to visit again!!

Ordered 4 falafel wraps for my family. Delicious and fair sized portions. I would have liked it a lot more with (more?) tahini and hummus; they were pretty dry.

We were greeted by a very lovely lady, who was extremely sweet and there was quick service. Their drinks and food (especially kofta) was amazing and we also got complimentary mint tea which was amazing! Such a warm environment with good food, definitely recommend :D

Quiet atmosphere after 6 pm on a Sunday. The dish I had was called something on the lines of 'Kredes'. A prawn dish with rice, seasoned potato, red cabbage, and a type of bread with tomato paste that made it taste like pizza. The prawns were a bit spicy to me, but I think it was just a certain ingredient that was triggering me. I'm not sure if the potatoes were very flavoursome or just really salty, but they tasted spicier than the prawns.

Food was absolutely delicious. We had the baba gahnoush, the shish tauwk, the syriana cocktail and some Arabic tea. The food was very succulent, very tender and juicy. Rice was cooked to perfection. The cocktail was absolutely refreshing. The hospitality was amazing, the staff were very welcoming and an absolute delight! Would definitely recommend!

Unkomplizierte Tischbestellung, ausgesprochen freundlicher Empfang, großartiger Service und das Essen (Wir hatten das Menü.) war excellent. Die Vorspeisen waren der absolute Hit, das Fleisch saftig und gut gewürzt, der Reis sehr lecker. Es war soviel, dass wir nicht alles essen konnten. Die Reste wurden uns getrennt eingepackt. Super Service, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut in Ordnung. Ich empfehle das Restaurant wärmstens.

A restaurant I have to visit whenever I come to Birmingham, its delicious food and beautiful atmosphere makes me want to come back again every time. I highly recommend getting for appetizers hummus, and Borak Jobneh, very tasty 👌🏼, and for mains I liked Samak Meshwi, and lamb Shakiryah. They also served us tea after we finished, very generous of them. Everyone was welcoming, and we got served by Zuzu, who was very nice and welcoming. Highly highly recommend it 👍🏼.

Hi, My family and I went there.The lady who served us was Sara. She was very nice and warm. The environment was calm and quiet. But i want to say that the food that we ordered the quality was good, the taste was delicious, but the amount of protein in the food was very low. The meat and chicken used in the food were low. Sara smiles every time to order, and this can be the positive point of this restaurant. Thank you 🙏

I visited Syriana when I was in town for a gig. I love this sort of food, and I wasn't disappointed. Absolutely lovely, and the people were equally lovely - receiving a mint tea 'on the house' was a very nice touch. I hope it's well supported by locals, as it deserves it. I'll make an effort to visit again the next time I'm in Birmingham. Thanks guys!

Good food. First time experienced Syrian/ Jordanian food and it is well cooked. Service was very very good. Sarah has very good communication skills and too good manners.

The staff were lovely and very welcoming. The atmosphere is very homely inside. The food was of excellent quality and I would recommend it again.

One of the best meals I've eaten in a long time. An absolutely incredible selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, all of which were incredibly flavourful, as well as delicious drinks and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

The food was cold and tasteless, they could not manage a group of 30, all the starters were the same, main a choice I did not stop for the desert for £30 a head it's a big fat no from me, if they go up Lozells road they sell lots of spices, which the food had none.....the female server was lovely, but a bit embarrassed that food was cold....

I orderd 5 shawarma in eid day, 15 min before get there, i waited 20 min in the restaurant to take the wraps, i got boiled chicken with no garlic sauce, minimum amount of chicken in the wrap. I dont think this is shawarma.

We were going to see Editors at the 02 Academy, were booked into Holiday Inn at Snowhill / Constitution Hill & needed to grab some food. My husband had found Syriana in an online search of nearby places. Possibly some of the best service we’ve had in a while (our server was lovely & knowledgable) and wonderful food. Little extras like complimentary flatbread, hummus & pickles, then mint tea at the end. The vermicelli rice was a revelation. Visually beautiful food and totally delicious.

Lovely welcome, only us and one other couple in on a Saturday night but we did arrive early at 5.45 as we going to the theatre up the road for a play at 7.30. Friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Lots of orders clearly being delivered whilst we were there. Food was hot, fresh and tasty. A little extra explanation would have been super, especially on the mezze. Enough food for 4, not 2! But we didn’t feel rushed, they asked us to let them know when we would like our mains. Left feeling great, fresh beautifully cooked food in our tummies. Can take your own alcohol. We weren’t charged a corkage or given a wine/beer menu. Beautifully decorated inside. Thank you for another great evening here. Hadn’t been since before Covid when we last visited for my gran and grandad’s 50th wedding anniversary. Complete professionalism as they had shown on previous visits. Thank you

Wonderful food, great value and super nice staff. We had the set menu and loved it. Slightly out of town centre on way towards Jewellery Quarter, very convenient for Holiday Inn express Snowhill. My sister was raving about her visit the day before so we decided to give it a go .On arrival we were greeted warmly, Service was friendly but what will absolutely make us come back was that the food was so very tasty and very reasonably priced for generous portions . Our bill was £49 for 2 and we were stuffed! The restaurant does not serve alcohol but we opted for the Syriana sparkling which tasted like the best mojito I had ever had but without the alcohol, highly recommended. We are planning our next visit already! The restaurant is clean and well presented. Thank you

Brought my wife here for her birthday meal last night. Four adults two teenagers and an 8 yo. Food was absolutely amazing, breads and salads super fresh, humus was great, the Beirut style humus even more so. All the meats were cooked to perfection, the lamb kofta with tahini and yoghurt sauce was the best thing I've eaten since I moved to Birmingham five years ago. We ate early so it was quiet but the music was decent, food came quick, service was good, and the bill for seven of us with starters mains and drinks came to @£125. We'll definitely be going back to Syriana.

Food was absolutely delightful. I had Moussaka and my partner had lamb, both with rice. For starters we had hot & cold mezze selection. I had to restrain myself from licking the plate. The menu didn't show alcoholic drinks but the server informed us that they did have a selection of wine and beers. However, we stuck with the non alcoholic drinks and had fresh fruit juices (tasted freshly squeezed) and a mint and lemon drink that was very refreshing. We were served complementary mint tea after our main course and finished with some baklava which was lovely and sticky and full of pistachio. Restaurant was fairly quiet for a Friday night, there were only three other tables in use when we arrived at 20:30, but they seemed to have a lot of take away orders. Will definitely be visiting again.

Myself and 2 work colleagues visited this restaurant whilst away training. We chose from the set menu which was very reasonably priced at £24.99. The servings were plentiful and delicious. This has got to be one of the best meals out I have had in a while. The staff were friendly, Sarah was helpful with our selection and the service was faultless. I would highly recommend this place.

Really friendly staff and the food was amazing. I opted for the set menu at £24.99. Massive portions of delicious authentic Lebanese food. This is well worth a visit and will definitely be my go to place when I next visit Birmingham.

Very nice restaurant. Can't fault the food. We enjoyed everything we had. I has seabass, partner had lamb and sis in law had minced lamb. The service we recieved was good, the waiter/ owner was very freindly and efficient. Good value for money too.

Our first ever visit to this restaurant which in its self is a crime as we have frequented a number of jewellery quarter pubs and restaurants previously.The only disappointment was that more people hadn’t made the effort to visit here on Christmas Eve to give more atmosphere to the occasion ,even though this restaurant has been a beacon on Constitution hill for a number of years it truly deserves to be a landmark for many more The restaurant was immaculate in its appearance with bright authentic decor,the menu offered a wide variety of dishes,our dietary needs were easily met. The waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful with any questions the service was efficient but definitely not rushed,our starters were all very well prepared and full of flavours,we were even given little accompaniments that they thought we would enjoy alongside at no extra expense. The main meals were excellent,two of us opted for lamb dishes which was tender and full of flavour as was the chicken dish and the sea bass,the meal and drinks proved to be an incredibly good value evening out. Having asked a friend who has used Syriana on occasions about the restaurant we definitely were not disappointed,a New year visit is planned,thank you to all the staff at Syriana who made our Christmas Eve an enjoyable one.
