We had a wonderful evening with great food and service. Thank you to waitress Sara for her kindness and fantastic service. We will be back.

Really fantastic restaurant. I was first in at opening time and was shown to a very comfortable table. Waitress was so friendly. Food delicious and perfectly priced in my opinion. Would return if back in Brum again!

I orderd 5 shawarma in eid day, 15 min before get there, i waited 20 min in the restaurant to take the wraps, i got boiled chicken with no garlic sauce, minimum amount of chicken in the wrap. I dont think this is shawarma.

Lovely meal, polite, helpful staff and accommodated our gluten free needs. Reasonably priced and very filling. Five stars

We were going to see Editors at the 02 Academy, were booked into Holiday Inn at Snowhill / Constitution Hill & needed to grab some food. My husband had found Syriana in an online search of nearby places. Possibly some of the best service we’ve had in a while (our server was lovely & knowledgable) and wonderful food. Little extras like complimentary flatbread, hummus & pickles, then mint tea at the end. The vermicelli rice was a revelation. Visually beautiful food and totally delicious.

Lovely welcome, only us and one other couple in on a Saturday night but we did arrive early at 5.45 as we going to the theatre up the road for a play at 7.30. Friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Lots of orders clearly being delivered whilst we were there. Food was hot, fresh and tasty. A little extra explanation would have been super, especially on the mezze. Enough food for 4, not 2! But we didn’t feel rushed, they asked us to let them know when we would like our mains. Left feeling great, fresh beautifully cooked food in our tummies. Can take your own alcohol. We weren’t charged a corkage or given a wine/beer menu. Beautifully decorated inside. Thank you for another great evening here. Hadn’t been since before Covid when we last visited for my gran and grandad’s 50th wedding anniversary. Complete professionalism as they had shown on previous visits. Thank you

Wonderful food, great value and super nice staff. We had the set menu and loved it. Slightly out of town centre on way towards Jewellery Quarter, very convenient for Holiday Inn express Snowhill. Doesn't look all that from outside but definitely worth a visit for great food and a wonderful evening.

My sister was raving about her visit the day before so we decided to give it a go .On arrival we were greeted warmly, Service was friendly but what will absolutely make us come back was that the food was so very tasty and very reasonably priced for generous portions . Our bill was £49 for 2 and we were stuffed! The restaurant does not serve alcohol but we opted for the Syriana sparkling which tasted like the best mojito I had ever had but without the alcohol, highly recommended. We are planning our next visit already! The restaurant is clean and well presented. Thank you

Brought my wife here for her birthday meal last night. Four adults two teenagers and an 8 yo. Food was absolutely amazing, breads and salads super fresh, humus was great, the Beirut style humus even more so. All the meats were cooked to perfection, the lamb kofta with tahini and yoghurt sauce was the best thing I've eaten since I moved to Birmingham five years ago. We ate early so it was quiet but the music was decent, food came quick, service was good, and the bill for seven of us with starters mains and drinks came to @£125. We'll definitely be going back to Syriana.

Amazing dinner! Very nice food, service and atmosphere! I will repeat 100%!!

Food was absolutely delightful. I had Moussaka and my partner had lamb, both with rice. For starters we had hot & cold mezze selection. I had to restrain myself from licking the plate. The menu didn't show alcoholic drinks but the server informed us that they did have a selection of wine and beers. However, we stuck with the non alcoholic drinks and had fresh fruit juices (tasted freshly squeezed) and a mint and lemon drink that was very refreshing. We were served complementary mint tea after our main course and finished with some baklava which was lovely and sticky and full of pistachio. Restaurant was fairly quiet for a Friday night, there were only three other tables in use when we arrived at 20:30, but they seemed to have a lot of take away orders. Will definitely be visiting again.

Myself and 2 work colleagues visited this restaurant whilst away training. We chose from the set menu which was very reasonably priced at £24.99. The servings were plentiful and delicious. This has got to be one of the best meals out I have had in a while. The staff were friendly, Sarah was helpful with our selection and the service was faultless. I would highly recommend this place.

Very nice restaurant. Can't fault the food. We enjoyed everything we had. I has seabass, partner had lamb and sis in law had minced lamb. The service we recieved was good, the waiter/ owner was very freindly and efficient. Good value for money too.

Our first ever visit to this restaurant which in its self is a crime as we have frequented a number of jewellery quarter pubs and restaurants previously.The only disappointment was that more people hadn’t made the effort to visit here on Christmas Eve to give more atmosphere to the occasion ,even though this restaurant has been a beacon on Constitution hill for a number of years it truly deserves to be a landmark for many more The restaurant was immaculate in its appearance with bright authentic decor,the menu offered a wide variety of dishes,our dietary needs were easily met. The waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful with any questions the service was efficient but definitely not rushed,our starters were all very well prepared and full of flavours,we were even given little accompaniments that they thought we would enjoy alongside at no extra expense. The main meals were excellent,two of us opted for lamb dishes which was tender and full of flavour as was the chicken dish and the sea bass,the meal and drinks proved to be an incredibly good value evening out. Having asked a friend who has used Syriana on occasions about the restaurant we definitely were not disappointed,a New year visit is planned,thank you to all the staff at Syriana who made our Christmas Eve an enjoyable one.

Went here for a staff meal. The, atmosphere, service and food was amazing. Special thanks to Sara for being our such a hospitable waitress. Definitely recommend the mixed grill, the soups and falafel and hummus.

Walked in to a very warm welcome, friendly and helpful. The waitress explained what was in the meals. The food was delicious full of flavour each dish had a different flavour. Outstanding wine. Overall price very good. Can not wait to revisit next time we are in Birmingham. Thank you to all the staff for a great experience.

As a Syrian, this is as close to home food as it can get in Birmingham. Been regulars here since moving to Birmingham 3 years ago, the place itself is always clean and staff is very friendly and cheerful and quick to serve. Food is always fresh and tasty, we had the hummus, kibbeh, cheese borak and mixed grill which were all prepared freshly and portion size was good. Couldn’t take a picture of the rest of the food as my party had already had all the delicious food

This was our second visit to the Syriana Restaurant as we so enjoyed it on our first visit in April 2023. We arrived at the restaurant around 7.30pm. We are not from the UK or we would have been back before. Unfortunately on this second visit we were sorely disappointed. It was not the food that was disappointing but the service. We ordered from the set menu and the starter arrived. As. like on the first visit, it was lovely and a lot of it. I would suggest it would take at least half an hour to ease through it, if not longer. Sadly after ten minutes the waitress said the mains were coming. We said we were not ready as we had not really a quarter of our way through starter. Her response was,”well it is ready now,” and she dumped it on the table. The manager/head waiter then spoke to us and said he was sorry and they would give us time to finish our mains before dessert. No, dessert arrived so quickly it spoiled the whole evening. We paid the bill, in excess of £70.00 at around 9.30pm. We were the last in the restaurant. The person we paid said, sarcastically perhaps? “we left you to have time.” No you didn’t, we were rushed and did not have time to eat in comfort and enjoy the food. Unfortunately, not because of the food but because of the exceedingly poor service, we will not be going back to the Syriana when we next return to Birmingham.

Great experience, Sara was an excellent server. Food was served with generous portions, and was delicious. I’m 100% returning to try the rest of the menu.

Ordered from the set menu and was so impressed. The mixed starters were amazing and so flavourful especially the smoky aubergine and the red pepper dips. Excellent value for money. Service was also excellent and all staff were so friendly and helpful - was definitely service with a smile.

Food & service were phenomenal. They were so accommodating of our dietary requirements. The food was so tasty and smelt incredible. I’m vegan & had a vegan moussaka & Foul Moudamas which was divine.

We really enjoyed having dinner at Syriana restaurant. There was a C shape sofa, at the end of the restaurant, we really like it, that we had our privacy. The food was supper good, except that a few starters were a little cold (dolma). Sarah was a friendly person, who smiled and she was always there.

Amazing food and service! It was my first time trying authentic middle eastern food and i was not disappointed. I really enjoyed all the food and will definitely be visiting again. We tried the kibbeh shamiyeh as part of our starter (might be spelling it wrong) which tasted amazing, definitely would recommend it. We loved our service and were very happy customers the whole time and after we left.

A real find . Just a couple of steps from st chad cathedral. A little oasis for the diner. Excellent presented food all really tasty . All at a reasonable price and good portion sizes . A good variety of choice of staters and mains . Desserts range from traditional Syrian to conventional. Pleasant environment and attentive service .

This is the first time having a Syrian cuisine and it was a good experience. We ordered the sheesh tawook and freekah. Freekah was a very heavy dish careful when you order hoping it to look like a grill platter but it's not. It's more of a rice chicken with grains and almonds. Overall it was a good experience with a very welcoming and warm staffs and an amazing ambience. Enjoy eating 😜

Food is very delicious, you should try it if you visit Birmingham, price is reasonable and they have various Arabic dishes. The atmosphere is quite and nice. Came here on a day out to Birmingham and I can't praise this place highly enough! Staff were sooo lovely, bathroom was super clean, food took ages but for good reason - it was so insanely delicious, definitely cooked fresh! Really reasonable prices too - just under £15 for a Shish Taouk (which came with batata and vermicelli rice) and freshly squeezed orange juice. We were also given complimentary tea but had to get it for takeaway as we had to catch the train back. Thank you so much for such a lovely experience, will absolutely be returning if I'm in the area again! ❤️❤️

My partner and I live local and sometimes fancy taking away, and Syriana has never disappointed. Very friendly staff that greet us warmly every time. Food is fantastic quality and very reasonably priced with generous portion sizes. We both eat Vegetarian and there as a lot of options on the menu, so we don't feel like we're missing out too much! Looking forward to our next order.

Great value Lebanese / Syrian place. A good range on the menu, without trying to offer too much, so focusing on good quality. Nice to see all the beer and wine have been sourced from Lebanon. Service struck the right note, being friendly and attentive whilst still leaving to enjoy our meals and conversation. The vermicelli rice deserves a special mention despite its lowly status of accompaniment - I could eat a dish of that on its own every day of the week and still keep ordering it!
