Excellent food, authentic venue. We went for lunch prior to a visit to the theatre & we very impressed by the quality of the food. Staff were very attentive & friendly.

Brilliant atmosphere - live music and outstanding service. More food than we could manage but all delicious. Perfect for pre-theatre meal and cocktails.

Had a lovely meal here for lunch before going to the theatre. The appetizers were wonderful, lovely Greek main course, great portions. No small measure on the glass of wine, a proper glass of wine, had a lovely Greek red wine, think it began with the letter K. Staff were lovely, didn't rush us to leave and very helpful. Will definitely visit again.

Myself, my wife and daughter enjoyed a preshow meal before our visit to the Hippodrome to see A Chorus Line. As soon as we entered we were seated and welcomed. We ordered our food and thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything was delicious. I was so impressed with the ambience, it felt very authentic. Without doubt the best welcome and service in a restaurant I have ever received.

First time eating here and what a great experience. Amazing service, we had warm pitta bread and selection of dips on the table before we even sat down. Great conversation with one particular waiter, however after the initial interaction he didn’t seem to chat to us. Can’t fault the service though. Food was tasty and arrived quickly. Great atmosphere, would definitely recommend.

Our 3rd time at Santorini, love the atmosphere, the welcome as you walk in, service was excellent, same as previous visits. Food has always been fantastic 😋 look forward to coming again the next time we visit Birmingham

Nice staff BUT CHECK THE BILLS Food - chicken was too dry, fries - not the best, other types of meat not worse, but I've eaten better ones elsewhere. Wine - I can't choose, they just serve me a glass of wine - I don't even know what it was. Service charge - crazy - 10.34% (of course added by the staff without providing information) for service for 2 people and one meal 🤦‍♀️ Even bigger and much better restaurants have a lower service charge for only 2 guests. Basically - my first time there and for sure last one. I know better places.

If your looking for a great Greek restaurant in Birmingham, then look no further as this place is excellent. Great food, service and reasonable prices. They even bring you some complimentary dips to start and serve a selection of drinks from Greece includingthe bottled water which is a nice touch and something many places dont bother to stock. Would definitely go back and definitely recommend 👌

Turned up under time pressure to get to the theatre, we managed to have around 4 courses of fresh, delicious quick fire Greek food in 30 minutes. An absolute brilliant experience and will be back. Thank you!

Went with friends whilst staying overnight in Birmingham on a Monday night. The owner, Christos, was pleasant and as I’m Greek we had some good conversation. We all decided to just have main courses and drinks.. One of the waitresses brought us some dips and pitta bread’s saying it’s on the house so we thought great.. we all had our mains, Moussaka (£16), Mixed Grill (£20), Gyros Wrap (£11) and Seafood Salad (£12). Total of 3 bottles of Keo Greek Beer (£4.50 each) and 2 bottles of still water (not sure of price but wouldn’t have thought more than £2 a bottle) After finishing our meals we were brought a selection of dessert tasters together with an ouzo shot and again told that these were complimentary.. The service was really good and the food very tasty. However once we asked for the bill Christos presented this to us with a folded bit of paper and a total price of £92 hand written on the back of the paper.. It was late and we were tired after a hectic day site seeing and shopping so rather than question the bill we just paid it and left… The price for what we actually ordered should have been £72 or thereabouts if the water was indeed £2 a bottle so looks like we did end up paying around £20 for pitta & dips and taster desserts which we didn’t ask for and were told quite clearly were on the house.. Like I’ve said, the food and service were great but just want people to be aware of this overcharging should they visit…

Santorini was Serene And the waiter was a dream. Great place for cocktails with caffeine We could not have foreseen the dream that could not have been believed!! Great place to convene ! :)

They have the best Greek food in town! You should taste them and visit here to feel the lovely atmosphere. And yes, Don is legend. If he's around, try to meet with him. And do not forget to order their unforgettable borek and treats. A place that is safe, serving delicious food and warm-hearted people with peace!

Food wasn't fooding. It strangely rained, even though it didn't rain. Would not recommend it... the side dishes were good. The Pitas were amazing

The service is great, but today, the food was not up to scratch. I had chicken skewers, which were dry and tasteless. It was only later I realised they had been pre cooked, and then microwaved. Not recommended, which is a shame because the staff are lovely

Wow!! Just wow!! The meal and service was fantastic. We didn't expect the brilliant belly dancer, live music and plate smashing. An absolutely wonderful end to our day. Every member of staff was lovely, to the point that as we left the people in the front kitchen who hadn't even seen us all smiled and waved. We will definitely be back. Thank you!! xx

Amazing restaurant, the food was incredible, the service and hospitality was excellent and it was a real experience. They catered for 20 of us including vegetarians and vegans excellently. Cannot recommend enough.

Went on a weeknight evening. Food was decent. Service was pushy and hovered like a helicopter. One of the servers was very rude to my trans son.

We didn't order any of this food. The waiter said "this is mezze", and just started putting plates on the table. When we questioned why we had so much food without ordering, he said it would be £25 each and they kept bringing plates even though we complained. We had a vegetarian at the table, and only the salad was vegetarian! Be careful if coming here with a large group! Food is good though

A pretty middle of the road dining experience. Food was good but a little on the bland side, a bit more seasoning on top of the olive oil covering all would have been a treat. Probably the most humid day of the year, no fans or aircon but boy did the radiators work! Straight back home for a shower after, don't pass go. Old gent was a friendly fella but service was slow throughout, despite being nowhere near capacity. Our drinks order, our food order, our drinks arriving, our bill all taking ages. Asked for the bill three times, young lad got a bit mardy over it, by the end just walked up to the till and bedded in for another wait. All in all, it was fine, probably won't go back.

Only wanted a garlic bread but had to opt for the "£10" gyros as they never had any GB. I've had many a Gyros and have to say this has to be the worst one I've ever eaten. Two small pieces of chicken, hardly any Tzatziki. Microwaved chips and served up in 5 mins, so the chicken was obviously microwaved too. Get one in Kontokali in Corfu for £4 and you get a beer with it!

Always a nice place to visit for food, have come a few times with friends and every time we come we enjoy the food. Whilst the place is always quiet it definitely has a nice atmosphere and everyone always finds their food nice. Staff are very attentive and friendly.

Great late night place for a bite to eat when everywhere else is closed. Also the staff is so nice and kind ! Now the food is to die for and they have a great selection of authentic Greek food ! If I lived in Birmingham I’d come to this place regularly and when I come back I will be back here ❤️

Visited here at lunchtime as someone I support wanted to try some Greek cuisine. There's not a lot of choice in Birmingham but this place looked inviting. The menu was quite extensive but a little confusing the way it was laid out and the choices, especially regarding the kebabs. However, my service user wanted to try the moussaka so we went for this. Dips and bread were brought to our table, not sure what all the dips were but they were very tasty, as was the bread. We ordered more bread and some calamari for starters and 2 moussakas. We waited a while and everything came together which was disappointing. The calamari was quite good but came with fries as did the main course! The main was £16 and consisted of a very small portion of moussaka which was obviously microwaved and needed more sauce and mince. The rest of the plate was made up with rice, more fries, and a salad with potatoes in it! I suspect this was to make the plate look like it had more on it, but totally over the top with carbs. The salad was fresh and tasty. It wasn't busy at all and whilst the decor was very nice I won't be returning.

We visited on the 14th. The best staff, so friendly happy and kind. Incredible food we had mains and dessert. The decorations and atmosphere was like being in Greece. Looking forward to going again.

Went around 5pm on a Saturday, not many other diners. Really friendly owner and Greek TV in the background made it feel welcoming. Complementary flatbreads with dips and spinach rolls placed once you sit down. Delicious stewed lamb, salmon, kebab. Average (but still good) chips, simple salad, roast potatoes. Good prices. Complementary small cake selection and juice/liquorice drink shot for dessert.

Today I took a group of 12 people for lunch. The food was absolutely delicious and plenty of it. The owner and staff were very attentive throughout the meal. We ordered Mezes which I would highly recommend because you get a taste of lots of different dishes. They can accommodate large groups upstairs so well worth considering for any kind of get together. The restaurant is very convenient for supper before going to one of the many entertainment venues that surround it.

I came here last night with 2 work colleagues and the hospitality was excellent from the owner and kebab was excellent and meat was flame grilled.

Honestly incredible place, sat down with a complimentary pitta and dips, proceeded to the main which was a Lamb Donner spread, absolutely incredible. After we didn’t order desert but we got a complimentary cheese cake and pastry at no extra cost.. this was the first time me and my partner had walked in ever. Honestly was incredible.

Came in last night with a group of friends and had a fantastic meal. We were so well catered for with loads of choices for veggie guests as well. We opted for the mezze feasts and it was fantastic, the food kept coming and all of it was just delicious, it really felt like we were on holiday in a Greek taverna. The owner and all the staff were just lovely, so friendly and chatty and made us all feel super welcome. It was also incredible value for money with the mezze being £25 a head and so much food we ended up getting to-go boxes at the end. Would 100% recommend!

When I called to book a table I was told about the set menu’s on offer and I said I would pass tho information on to everyone who was coming . When we arrived on the evening of the meal we were told that I had apparently agreed to the mezze menu which I hadn’t but I spoke with the rest of the party and most said they were ok with it but a bit disappointed as they had thought they could choose a meal from the main menu . The head waiter who was a rude arrogant man told us not to worry there would be lots of food coming out a huge selection whivh he doubted we’d finish . What came out I can only describe as nibbles small plates of various dishes which were spread around the table . There was 31 of us and certainly not enough food to go around and some people didn’t eat at all because they didn’t like what was on offer it was certainly not worth the £25 per head . The website says there will be Greek dancers and belly dancers Greek music and plate smashing but what we actually got was a man in the corner playing and two brief intervals of a woman doing some sort of dance we were all very under whelmed and paid the bill so we could move on somewhere else . I’ve been to Greek restaurants before but will never go back to this one

A restaurant specializing in Greek cuisine The price is pretty great. 4 people ordered 4 bottles of beer and 3 dishes. For 43 pounds, I think it’s pretty good. Before ordering, they also give you bread as an aperitif. This service even provides dessert after the meal~ I don't know if the cost is included, but All of that is great for around 40 pounds. When I had 4 beers at a nearby bar. If you think about 22 pounds, Hyeja haha Of course, the taste will vary depending on personal taste. It's a good place for a group of people to eat cheaply. The kindness of the owner is just that... Among pizza, hamburgers and sausages The hamburger is slightly better, Personally, I like the french fries on the side. It's the best I've ever eaten. I ordered some traditional Greek food, It's a bit disappointing that I didn't get to try it because I missed my order. So, did you give me dessert? A place open until late There are quite a few tables. The atmosphere of the store feels a bit like a wedding reception. Ordering a menu after serving drinks Ordering and payment are all done at the table. The service is a bit leisurely. It may be a bit frustrating for Koreans. A good example of restaurant operation~

Ate here with a friend early 2023,, good quality of food with generous size portions ,, staff were very good except for one member who interrupted a private conversation I was having with my to chat aload of rubbish that had no relevance to what I was talking about,, other than that, well worth a visit,, I've only ever visited 3 Greek restaurants in my lifetime and all were good in their own way

Absolutely amazing place ! We’ve been many times now. The food is top of the range and the staff are lovely helpful and friendly. They also have wonderful Greek music playing inside. Location is perfect. Highly recommended

We had the 4 course menu for 2. The service was impeccable. We were warmly welcome and our drinks topped up all night. The food was fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. There was so much we sadly couldn’t finished and wish we had a spare stomach to fit it all in. Wonderful place and we will most definitely return.

Incredibly good value & tasty food. I ordered late night on Deliveroo. I ordered a mixed grill for one for £20 and was genuinely shocked by how much food came- it filled two carrier bags and was heavy! It could have easily fed four people. It came with a greek-brand fizzy drink, salted potatoes (really delicious & a new fave) , chips, greek salad with feta and olives, jeweled rice and an absolute tonne of meat. The meat included Chicken and pork skewers, pork chop, greek sausage, kofta, Doner meat, chicken and pork shawarma meat- lots of all of it. I ordered some tsatsiki on the side, as recommended, and got a whole takeaway container full. I'm certain that everything, except for the chips, was home made. It was all well seasoned and flavourful too, nothing bland, lots of variety. I thought the baklava was a little pricier than other places at £6.50 for one piece but it was definitely home made and had a substantial amount of nuts in. Really tasty. I can see why this place is so popular. 👍

Amazing! Already planning our next visit.

My mum and I came here before a show and it was wonderful. Not being from Birmingham, we looked into restaurants around the area and were very happy to come across this little gem. The food was lovely, piping hot, fresh, served quickly by friendly staff and owner, and portion sizes were big- with an added unexpected bonus of bread and dips on arrival. The atmosphere was just the right mixture of energetic and homey. We never felt rushed to leave even as it got busier, which allowed our stomachs to settle enough to choose an incredible dessert from the very inviting display they have. Would eagerly return on another visit, and will be recommending to anyone who may be visiting Birmigham.

So friendly and accommodating. We had 30 minutes before our theatre visit and they waved us in, showed us to the table and swiftly took our order. Our beer and food arrived within 4 minutes and halfway through eating they gave us extra kebabs. Delicious food and very Greek. Enthusiastic and friendly staff and atmosphere. We had a wonderful team lunch here (about 20 people). We had all preordered our food so it was a very smooth occasion. Super-friendly service and great food. We were served a range of Greek dips and pita on arrival and then our mains. I had the seabass and it was delicious - all the portions were very sizey so you couldn't go hungry. The owner who served us had all our drinks choices on a tray so we could see all the genuine Greek drinks. I can't recommend the sour cherry enough. We were also surprised at the end with trays of delicious and authentic Greek desserts. I highly recommend this Greek oasis in the hustle and bustle of Birmingham!

We came here at the end of the night and have to say for a late night spot the food was amazing. The kebab was so tasty and the burgers were huge!!! They were very busy but we just sat down at a table and the food was brought to us.

Wanted octopus as it was on the menu but for the second time the seafood menu was severely restricted, the meat mousse was dry and when the owner came to the table he was less than helpful. Mixture of chips, potatoes and rice on the plate as accompaniment to the main course was too much. Drinks menu didn’t have prices for bottles of wine. Most disappointing won’t return

AVOID THIS PLACE. My boyfriend got bad FOOD POISONING within 4 hours of ordering the mixed grill. We ate at dinner time and had not been drinking prior to meal, so it was definitely caused by the food. This restaurant does not practice food hygiene. The ratings.food.gov.uk page on Santorini restaurants has the following to say: "Hygienic food handling. Hygienic handling of food including preparation, cooking, re-heating, cooling and storage: Improvement necessary."

And the service was spot on, welcoming from our arrival to when we left, attentive but not too much so. Will definitely return next time we visit the theatre.

Enjoy the menu and the table will be filled with delicacies. Make sure you clearly agree in advance what is included in the menu. With us, all kinds of things were suddenly added to the receipt.

Worst experience for private party!

DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND DO NOT HIRE THE PLACE FOR EVENTS! I am so sorry there is not an option for 0 stars. 1. We hired the place from 14-19:30, at 18:00 there were other tables coming over and we were told to leave. Obviously we did not 2. We paid extra menus but we got less food than we were supposed to, like half from half we paid. Yes we asked for more,and they brought more, but still not enough telling us that they think it s enough. 3. The staff is rude, not all of the staff but the ones that you have to deal with. 4. Oh, we did not have a dj, we plugged in the phone and played music from Youtube. We were having a lovely time and we were dancing and singing along and guess what, at 18:00 someone came to play live music for the place and he was waiting for us to end up the party. 5. I was breastfeeding my baby at a table and one of the waitresses sent people to sit there as he insisted that we we’re supposed to leave 🤣 Worst experience.

I went here on recommendation for a takeaway meal. I have to say that it was quite possibly the worst takeaway meal I've ever had. I purchased a chicken and chips box meal at £9. There was one small chicken skewer which was dry and overcooked and chicken kebab shavings which were tasteless and fatty. A small handful of cold fries were underneath. Disappointing is an understatement.

Pre theatre meal for a group of 6. Excellent food and entertainment by the serving staff. The food just kept coming, too much for us to eat.
