I just love this place. Always fantastic food and superb service by friendly staff. Take your own wine as well! Very reasonably priced and generous portions. What’s not to like! Best place in Moseley!

The first time we went, We tried two starters and two mains and they were all really well made and flavourful. The Lamb shank particularly was beautifully cooked and falling off the bone. However on the second visit, unfortunately the lamb shank preparation seemed a bit different, there was no asparagus like before and no rice either. The prices are higher than what’s on their website menu.

Authentic Moroccan food. I had skewer which tastes juicy. The price is average. Definitely try the Moroccan dessert and Moroccan mint tea！

More people need to eat here. We have been here many times and never had a bad meal or experience. Our host was beyond good. More people need to try here. I had the roasted apple lamb, it fell off the bone. Highly highly recommend. Very good price too.

Amazing food - super delicious and we have not been disappointed with any of the dishes we have ordered. I would recommend the lamb tagine, la fibule and cous cous. BYOB which is a great also (wine shop round the corner which is convenient) Service can be a bit slow but overall great and would always visit again

Just LOVE this place. Feels like home. Food is so beautiful, no frills just perfectly cooked. Service is 10/10. Make sure you order the aubergine dip and the warm bread…!

A very pleasant meal here. The food is tastly and hot (where appropriate) and the service charming and prompt. Though we don't get here often (largely because car parking in Moseley id awful!) we've never had a bad meal and always enjoyed ourselves.

Food and ambience was nice but quite a rude manager/waiter who kicked up a big fuss when requested for more cutlery, rest of waiters seemed ok.

My wife and I had a meal this evening. We weren’t sure what to expect, as from outside the restaurant looks quite ordinary and plain. We were pleasantly surprised when we entered into a vibrantly decorated restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The service is excellent, food delicious and very reasonably priced for the large portion sizes. Can’t recommend enough. We will definitely be returning.

We had dinner here and the food was absolutely delicious, really homemade Moroccan food. The guy serving us, probably the owner, was nice and gentle, he really took care of us. I strongly recommend the lamb here, it was soft and juicy, and also the mussels in spicy sauce were incredible. I really recommend this place.

Excellent choice of good food. Good service - it was a busy Saturday (always popular at weekends) evening booking, after day 2 of Test match. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Bring your own alcohol, but not soft drinks!

We stumbled upon this place on the way home from the pub. The food is amazing and very reasonably priced. The lamb tagines were beautiful and the staff very warm and welcoming. Will definitely visit again!

This restaurant never disappoints! I have been loads of times and The food is always the same… absolutely out of this world, this resturant is one of the best around..I can’t say enough positive things about it. I recently went to Rick Steins resturant in Sandbanks and the muscles and sea food didn’t even compare (it’s was good just not as good) to La fibula. I highly highly recommend this please staff and food always 10 out of 10!!

The food was excellent (apart from a rather bland badinjan). My Vegetarian Couscous was superb and similarly the Couscous Maison. It was a busy night on the second day of Eid so service was stretched but I would really recommend this restaurant.

A mid-week dinner. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived, and we were greeted by the owner. The food – as ever- was delicious, I enjoyed the merguez sausage (but was actually a bit jealous of my partner’s crab starter). I had Poulet Atlas (chicken & Goats cheese) with couscous and she had a lamb and apricot tagine. Everything was good (and, frankly, much better than we’ve eaten in Marrakesh). Very reasonable prices and BYOB.

It's not very often when I look at the menu I could have had 5 different starters, mains and desserts, such was the quality on course. Had s super scallops with spinach in a chilli sauce. Delightful. Then mains of lamb with yoghurt, sage and mint with some couscous. Lovely. Finished with mango and passion fruit cheesecake. Fabulous. Thirty pounds. I will be back.

Love the tagines here, but last night I opted for the lamb and chicken bruschetts. Always love the mint tea, it’s difficult to find traditional Moroccan mint tea locally. It’s always a lovely pleasant atmosphere, with traditional Moroccan music on in the background. Lovely traditional Arabic sofas surround the store, nice clean basic toilet with a hint of berber styling.

Incredible food and service plus BYOB ! Arrived late to our table due to traffic but we were greeted by a friendly and helpful waiter who checked on our table all night and presented our food with warm and humorous service, made us laugh and most of all the food was amazing! would recommend to anyone, beautiful decor inside and atmosphere was really great too, La Fibule I will be back !!!

Another place recommended to me by friends. Easy to book and although early we were greeted by staff and shown to our table. The menu is amazing and I literally wanted to eat everything on there. For starters we had Mussels and calamari which were well cooked and very flavoursome. Houmous, obviously home made and beautiful. Sardines, well cooked but I would have liked a little more spice. Mains We had three different tagines and the vegetarian cous cous. All beautiful. This place is highly recommended.

I was really looking forward to visiting La Fibule with friends after reading the good reviews it had on Trip Advisor, but our experience was not what I’d hoped for. We had an early reservation, so the restaurant was empty and we were told to just sit where we wanted which was fine. When we sat down, no menus were offered. When I asked for menus, our waiter was rude. The food we ordered came fairly promptly, but the hummus I’d ordered was not seasoned and bland. In fact the Tagine I ordered for my main dish was equally bland. My friends were happier with their selections, so it might have just been bad luck on my part. After we were served our mains, our waiter seemed to disappear. We would have liked to have ordered a coffee after, but just chose to get the bill after waiting so long for our waiter to return. So, bland food and poor service mean I won’t be visiting La Fibule again.

Love the food here. We have tried a varied selection & everything is outstanding. The Manager Mohammad is also very friendly. I have recently returned from Morocco & I think the food is as good here it’s very Authentic. You can also bring your own alcohol.. Try it you will not be disappointed.

We had a terrible experience here last Saturday (02/07) which is a shame as I had heard good things. I rang in advance to make a booking for 3 people for 745pm which they said would be fine. On arriving at the restaurant they gave us a table for 6 people as they didn’t have any smaller tables. 15 mins into the service (our drinks had arrived but the food was yet to come) they told us that a group of 6 had arrived and asked us to move to a table which was for 2 people. We told them we’d be happy to move but to a table for 3 as the 2 person table was tiny. We had refused but they kept forcing us to move to the 2 person table, at points being rude. Eventually they asked us to leave the restaurant if we were not willing to move to the 2 person table. This is appalling behaviour from an established restaurant to be honest - we were left hungry with no reservations on a Saturday evening. This restaurant books above capacity and should be avoided at peak times.

We had a lovely evening (Saturday 9th). The outside belies the beautiful authentic interior and following a warm friendly welcome we had a superb meal for three. All courses were exemplary and not a fault in any of them. My wife is allergic to wheat and barley gluten and this was not a problem as most of the menu was gluten free anyway with lots of dishes available to her, which was great. When back anywhere near Moseley, this will be our ‘head to’ place to eat. Thank you to the chef and staff.
