Love this place since I found it tucked away in the Woodgate valley area. Went again today with my mate - superb vegan and meat breakfasts! Really nice staff work there, very attentive and happy which gives the place a great mood vibe. Will come again for sure.

Popped in for a quick breakfast with a toddler and a newborn. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Unlike nearby places, parking was hassle free. As the location is slightly out of the way, I guessed this cafe relies on loyal customers rather than passers by so was intrigued. Staff were extra friendly and atmosphere was very calming. I ordered an ice pistachio latte, french toast, a salmon brioche and a cheese cake. Each item was above and beyond description..you can tell it was purely home made by caring expert hands. My little one also finished the bread, which he normally picks out. Wish I could take photos but my hands were full. Definitely coming back to try each item on the menu. I hidden gem indeed.

We love the coffee from here in particular the mocha, which is the best mocha I've ever had! Unfortunately I don't know his name, but the man who usually serves us is amazing and shows such care and attention to detail when making the food and drink. We recently ate in with our 10 month old and they were more than happy to do what they could to help us give him his lunch whilst we were there, including moving us to a bigger table and making sure we had the bowls and cutlery we needed. It can take a little while for food to come when it's busy as they're a small café, but it's more than worth the wait when it arrives. Very happy that this is on our doorstep.

Their cleanliness is impeccable and their staff are so warm and welcoming. Thank you Mo for making it a really nice experience especially for my mum. I travel from Essex to see my parents and really look forward to having my coffee here. I am a total coffee freak and must say it’s just amazing and way better than any high street brand. We ordered a pizza today for my two boys (who are extremely fussy) absolutely LOVED their pizza. It was hot, fresh and just nothing short of perfect! Highly recommend and you will not be disappointed and this sure is a hidden gem of Birmingham. .The owner is SO passionate about his food and the quality its refreshing to see. Awesome place! I had the Ketology breakfast, baklava, and coffee, and everything was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff is incredibly friendly and hospitable, and the food quality is top-notch. I would definitely visit again and highly recommend it to my friends!

Lovely little coffee shop ...we had the breakfast and the turkey & egg broiche a mango smoothie and a pistachio latte 😋 was so yummy it got very busy though (a good sign) but a little wait and felt slightly cold but other then that a great team working there very polite.coming back for sure 😀 👍

Had a poor experience here, we ordered and I asked if they are able to do anything gluten free, they asked the kitchen who I can see in the hatch behind the till and they aggressively shouted back “no no we don’t do allergies!”. Ok I thought a little rude but it’s a small kitchen, so I ordered 2 drinks a flat white and latte. 25 minutes we were still waiting, others were going up to the till and the same staff member that was aggressive before was again rude to people “what do you want then a refund?!”. After 30 minutes we gave up and got a refund ourselves. Also £3.90 for a flat white, that’s more expensive than some of the best coffee shops in London.

Soon as we walked in the atmosphere was perfect. Super friendly staff, it smelt amazing and was cosy. I loved the energy the staff/owner gave and how generous he was with us. We ordered the alfredo and it was different to the usual but nice and the coffee was my fave - proper coffee not the watery bitter British one. Definitely would come again and order the typical breakfasts and a coffee!

My first time experiencing Tasteology was through Uber eats. I ordered the pistachio french toast (amazing!!!) and the turkey egg sandwich. After that I ordered in person for collection. It's usually busy, so not many chances to sit but, during the day at about 10/11, usually helps with that. I've enjoyed a plate of Alfredo outside in July and most recently ate inside for breakfast with my child which has a cozy and relaxed feel. Next visit I want to try a milkshake and chicken wrap.

A great place to enjoy a Saturday lunch. The food is absolutely delicious, and we loved every single dish we ordered. The coffee was excellent. service was slightly slow for both food and drinks, but the quality was not compromised.

From the moment I walked in I was greated. Me and the guy working there had a brilliant conversation about my voice and doing voice overs, was pretty funny 😁 . They went above and beyond for my friend who's in hospital and needed a really tasty breakfast. My friend absolutely loved it and ate the lot. She has said she will be back in the cafe to try some other dishes when she's well.

A lovely cafe with friendly and professional service. I am a vegetarian and was amazed that they cater to vegetarian and vegans. The food is delicious and tastes so fresh. We had the pleasure of speaking to the owner who was very inviting and polite. The business decor is modest and cosy. If you want somewhere that caters to many dietary needs and is cosy then I highly recommend this place. Thank you for such a pleasant experience.

We have been here 3 times now for brunch (we visit each time we visit our daughter who lives nearby) and honestly it is the best place to go for brunch in the whole country! The food and drinks are soooo tasty, and the staff are just so lovely. My daughter is vegetarian and there is lots of choice for her on the menu. We will never go anywhere else!

Found this place on google we wanted breakfast so came here today with my girlfriend food was alright but the place was freezing it was like eating outside won't come here again and tip of advise no customer wants to come into a cold place this explains why you was empty..

Absolutely a must try breakfast restaurant(Halal options). The staff are very friendly, the food is dam good yummy. I have tried different things: the traditional english breakfast, the upgraded Shakshouka and the eggs& chees bun. All of them were really yummy. My advice is : do not stick to the traditional English breakfast but try different things from the menu. The atmosphere is great, the decorations are unique and modern. The music was lovely. Be careful: it becomes very crowded on Weekends so make sure to arrive early.

The royal breakfast was much better than the Shakshouka. The coffee was normal, nothing too worthy to note. The person at the cashdesk taking orders was cheerful and fun to have a conversation with. Unfortunately, someone scratched my parked car with a key or a sharp object outside this place, and we could do nothing about it. So, one tip to customers would be to park somewhere you can see the car from the shop or off road. I'd not park outside the convenience store again.

Took my partner for a birthday breakfast, and it was our first time visiting. Wonderful breakfast and lovely place. Clean and welcoming. My partner had the Royal Breakfast and polished it off! He particularly liked the sausages (made onside!) I had poached eggs which were perfect 👌🏾.I would recommend here for breakfast/brunch meets. There isn't a lot of parking available so just be aware of that.

We started with the Pistachio Latte's, which were beautifully presented, topped with whipped cream and garnished with what seemed like a sprinkle of nuts — visually appealing and quite delicious! Moving on to the breakfast plates — they were hearty and impressive. The variety was great, offering everything from hummus and smashed avocado to poached eggs and well-seasoned (homemade!) sausages. The veggie sausages my wife had were also delicious although I'm a meat lover. The sourdough bread was toasted to perfection, and the hash browns were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The ambiance was comfortable, and the service was top-notch. The owner’s hospitality made us feel truly welcome, and it added a personal touch to the whole experience. We left satisfied and eager to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a welcoming atmosphere, great food, and warm service!

And it has a lovely atmosphere with nice relaxing music and a chilled vibe. This is a hidden gem and we will definitely be returning very soon!

Had a delicious breakfast this morning at Tasteology. It's nice to find a place that is providing a high quality breakfast which is very reasonably priced. The best thing about the Royal breakfast that I ordered was ALL the elements were made incredibly well; I couldn't fault it any way. Service was wonderful. One final point is that this place is so clean which makes for a very comfortable dining experience. I look forward to returning.

Tasteology has proven that it is one of the best halal brunches in Birmingham if it is not the best due to the variety and the selection of dishes they provide regardless the excellent service. The coffee is amazing and the drinks are wonderful starting from the fresh juices,healthy smoothies to the tasty milkshakes. Looking forward to see this place in different locations.

Tasteology Birmingham is an absolute gem! The atmosphere from when you walk in is a very cozy and an inviting setting. The staff are superb, Al Hajj the brother who served me and my friend was extremely kind and attentive. The food speaks for itself as it was extremely delicious and full of flavour, I went with the quantum burger, tasteology, pasta and the cookie dough drink which all of these were made fresh and the best ingredients. This is definitely a 5/5 experience, you won’t regret it!

I visit this place daily for my first coffee of the day, there's no coffee like it. Haj and Mohammed are the best. Today I went in for a breakfast but then saw they have something new on the menu, vegetarian quiche, so I decided to give it a try. Needless to say, it didn't disappoint. Absolutely delicious. Drink took longer than food I requested it before my food. The burger thing looked amazing but was absolutely vile wasted trip and money

First of all, there were many people eating. I wanted to eat shakshuka, but since I was late, I had the Black Hole burger and Date Night smoothie. There really is no need to talk much. It was the best burger of my life. I try franchise hamburgers often enough to try them every time a new product comes out, but here, ‘we are different from common franchises’ and the taste proves the difference. The chef even came out to ask if the food was okay, and his manners towards older guests were also exceptional. It's the perfect meal for the best meal in the UK.

I had heard about this place from a few people and whilst I don’t live too far away I thought it was time for me to check it out. Upon arrival we were greeted with a friendly welcome and sat down right away which is always a bonus. The menu has a variety of options and I was spoilt for choice. I always like to try different things but went for a Full English breakfast with the kids opting for a breakfast wrap each. To drink , we had a cappuccino, mocha and a Ferraroshake. Having placed and paid for my order, I then spotted the French Toast which looked amazing and had to place an order for this as well. The place was busy and the food arrived after 20 minutes which was expected. The presentation was excellent and the taste was sublime. The kids enjoyed the breakfast wrap and the full English tasted on point. I have a sweet tooth and the French toast did not disappoint. The bread was soaked in maple syrup and topped with fruit with a Nutella drizzle. The icing on the cake was the lovely vanilla ice cream scoop which brought it altogether. It was so good that everyone had to have a taste which was expected but next time I won’t be sharing!! All in all it was a very enjoyable experience. The owner came out and said hello which was a nice touch. I highly recommend that people try this place, you will not be disappointed.
