The food at Rustic Table is truly exceptional. Service is excellent and staff friendly, polite and professional. Good value as well. It’s become one of our two favourite eateries in Harborne. Will definitely return again soon.An excellent evening. Thank you.

Fabulous evening! It was our third time at Rustic table but our first time for dinner (previous lunch and cocktails only). The service was brilliant, the food and cocktails perfect and the atmosphere was exactly what we wanted. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and everyone!

This is a brilliant little restaurant in Harborne High Street. I chose it for my wife's birthday dinner and we were not disappointed. The standard of service was 5 star and the food was absolutely delicious. Thoroughly recommended.

I’m pleased that this restaurant seems to be doing well. For us, the setting wasn’t the best; we were very close to the bar which was well-populated with drinkers who took up a lot of space and were really quite loud. OK, fine with people enjoying themselves (and the cocktails are good) but we needed more space. We ordered several of the tapas plates. For the most part, the food was fine, though the portion size was inconsistent. For e.g. the octopus was a vanishingly small portion disguised with a ton of rocket. Most others were fine. I enjoyed the sticky belly pork and the chicken lollipops (the fries were good, too), but thought that the arancini were rather dry (and the accompanying sauce had set on the plate). Overall, pleasant enough, but I think we chose the place poorly, based on our preferences.

Great service. very good food and the place is so relaxed it just complements the first 2. Had a number of Tapas dishes which were delicious and we recommend the place definitely. To top the experience my partner had a Old Fashioned served with a cherry smoked glass. The preparation itself was worth the monies and the drink was as smooth as Lenny Kravitz.

First visit last week on recommendation from a colleague - will certainly be back. I’m a bit of a fussy eater so was a bit worried however food was cooked to absolute perfection and was all delicious. Very friendly and attentive staff.

Wonderful service, tapas was delicious. Plenty of options without the menu being overwhelming. Lots of nice sounding cocktails too. Waitress was very attentive and provided all info for my friend who has lots of allergies. Lovely complimentary glass of fizz for my friends birthday too which i thought was very kind. Will defo be returning.

When you visit this place make sure you have lasagna, it tastes amazing.

Delicious food, friendly waiting staff. I love tapas and this didn’t disappoint. The churros are a must! I could have easily eaten double the quantity. So crispy, warm and light -absolutely stunning. We also had the lamb koftas, the patas bravas, croquettes, olives (amazing), cooked greek onions, prawns, fish cakes all were good, with a healthy helping of bread to dip into the delicious sauces. The chicken was ok, but again the sauce it was cooked in was sublime. My only comment is the prices are a little hefty for the amount you get per dish. I would still come back to this place though.

What an absolutely stunning meal! We really rated that there was a great selection of veggie and vegan options with some dishes that we hadn't tried before. Everything we tried was so fresh and delicious, but our favourite dishes were the Croquetas, Salantourmasi, Mango & Feta Salad and Lamb Koftas... Although the Churros stole the show, and were the nicest Churros we think we've ever eaten!!! The Sangria was absolutely delicious. When the karafe arrived I thought it would be too much but I quite happily glugged it down with my meal - refreshing and boozy, the perfect combination! The restaurant has a welcoming and cosy vibes, which we loved. Alex and Peter were such pros, you can tell they have been in the restaurant industry for a long time with their effortless hospitality and attention to detail! We really enjoyed our meal here and would happily return to try more of the menu, which rotates as the seasons change. And also for the Churros... They are worth driving to another city for alone!!!

Popped in on spec on a Saturday lunchtime, whilst I reminisced about living in Brum and Harborne in particular back in the 80s and 90s when taking my teenage son to the University Open Day. Quiet inside with just a few other tables taken but great host and excellent tapas, followed by some fantastically fresh churros to share. Outside afterwards my son said “that was truly 5 out of 5 excellent”. Can’t say fairer than that!

Great food, great drink and Alex is a wonderful host but bad influence! Don't get him started on his whiskeys, you may not make it into work the next day.

A friend suggested we go here for cocktails then move on to another place but we ended up staying all night. The atmosphere is perfect....music in the background but not too loud you can chat, cocktails are endless and you can even ask the bartender for something off menu or a surprise....very talented man Alex!!! Alex's brother is the chef and the quality of the food plus presentation is first class. I highly recommend

Wow!! Visited today with my partner for tapas. Every single dish was delicious. Transported to the Mediterranean. Cocktails were sublime… and the crème brûlée desert was the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a few). Please give this place a go.

We love the Rustic Table. The cocktails and food are fantastic. We really enjoy many of the menu items but particularly the Arancini and Churros! We love just going for drinks too which are outstanding, and always end up staying for more than we should. It's all got that homemade quality and with excellent service and value. It's the easiest 5 stars we have given. Thanks for the great times.

Lovely lunch here. Alex, the proprietor, could not have been more welcoming, and his enthusiasm for good food and service is evident. His brother is the chef, and we ate a delicious selection of the tapas, followed by dessert. Everything was excellent, but I particularly recommend the mushroom croquettes, the fried haloumi and for dessert, both the creme brûlée and the tiramisu were delicious. Will definitely be going back

Little gem in the heart of Harborne ! Big variety of tapas . We tried ribeye bites (which was amazing), mushroom arancini, chorizo croquetas, patatas braves and churros . Everything was great. I did really enjoy my margarita too. In the end with the bill they brought us to chocolate bites and 2 shots of limoncello that was a lovely gesture 😊I would definitely visit again. This place made me feel very cosy !

Best write this review before I lapse into a wonderful food coma Popped in on the off-chance and the friendly manager welcomed us to a table. The menu had delicious choices for meat and non meat eaters After demolishing rustic bread, lamb kofts, prawn curios, cod croquettes, 4 veg 4 ways. Cocktails followed by chorros desserts. After eating at many Birmingham tapas this is by far my favourite. This is a lovely little restaurant where booking is highly recommended Asta la vista gracias.

GLUTEN FREE - VEGETARIAN TAPAS The Rustic Kitchen, situated on Harbourne High Street, is a cosy tapas restaurant. The menu has many tapas dishes you might expect to find, combined with new and interesting seasonal dishes to try! The restaurant is lovely inside, clean, and the service is very good. The menu is well thought out with many gluten free dishes, vegetarian and vegan dishes, and importantly for me, gluten free + vegetarian dishes! Don't worry there are plenty of meat options too, my husband especially enjoyed the steak. I will say the portions are small, as you expect with tapas, but even so, smaller than expected in relation to the price. It's definitely a case of quality over quantity, so no complaints from me. Every morsel was delicious and it was obvious a lot of care had been taken in the preparation and cooking. The service was very good, the order was taken promptly, the food didn't take too long, and after requesting the bill, we were happily on our way home in no time at all. We will definitely visit again! It was a very pleasant experience and I would certainly recommend visiting. My favourite dishes were the 4 veg, 4 ways winter edition and the Blood orange and fennel salad.

We came back here Recently for the 3rd time to celebrate my dad's 93rd Birthday. We also celebrated his 91st birthday. He loves Tapas!! We had a really wonderful evening. Alex gave us such a lovely warm welcome, like we were old friends. The food as always was delicious, with some yummy new dishes on the menu. Alex makes you feel very special on every visit. It's our go to restaurant, every time we visit from the South of England. The Whisky selection is amazing. We can't wait to go back to see Alex and his lovely team very soon. You have to give it a try very soon.

I wanted a nice venue for a 40th birthday lunch and enquired at the Rustic Table on the off chance as I knew they weren’t usually open in the day time on weekends. Alex and the team were so welcoming and flexible - they said they’d be happy to do a private function and the only condition was a (very reasonable) minimum spend. The food was delicious and I can’t fault the service or communication. I would highly recommend for both a meal and a venue for a private function.

I was here celebrating my 71st birthday and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute! The staff were welcoming and friendly. This was my first visit but a return visit for my accompanying son and daughter-in-law and I definitely will return. The food and cocktails were superb, especially my Raffaello cocktail - my favourite sweet in a drink! What more could I ask for? My chocolate brownie was still hot when served and was topped with a golden birthday candle! We ended the evening with a complimentary liqueur. We will return!!

Just returned from an AMAZING meal at Rustic Table Harborne. Cocktails were amazing and the pomacello cocktail is a definite must the food was exceptional so tasty!!! Definitely recommend the padron peppers, spanish tortilla, mushroom arancini and the mini chorizo but would also recommend the rest of the menu too. Save some room for by far the best churros we have eaten in the UK. Definitely recommend and definitely will return.

We had a wonderful experience. From start to finish. The staff went above and beyond for us. We dined quite late around 9pm but staff were more than happy for us to take our time to order. They were really attentive and the tapas dishes that we ordered were very fast to come out. The meat portion sizes were on the small side, but the veggie tapas and arinicini were really good. My mother-in-law loved her birthday suprise and the tiramisu was one of the best we’ve had. Sangria was really nice too. Really enjoyed our evening!

Great little place on Harborne High Street. Excellent choice of tapas. All absolutely scrumptious - you will be spoilt for choice. The churros, however, are the best I have ever tasted and I have eaten them in a number of places in Spain Inluding Street sellers.

Our first visit. We had a lovely dinner for two as a couple. The menu is based on tapas and had a good variety for just about all tastes. We started with olives that were lovely and an Aperol Spritz each. We then ordered artisan bread with balsamic dip and a variety of tapas dishes, I also had a side of fries. We accompanied this with a bottle of wine (Portuguese Red). Later, we both had tiramisu dessert. The food was first class, as was the service and ambience. We will definitely eat here again.

Lovely atmosphere and really reasonably priced tapas. We were served by the owner who was kind and attentive. The vegetarian options are great too, which is a bonus at any tapas restaurant. Overall the food is delicious and we will definitely be returning!
