Murphy's Bar in Warwick

A diamond boozer, as we used to say back in London - this local bar puts many gastro pubs shame with its low prices and quality cooked breakfast and mains. The full Irish is brilliant value - a mega for just £8 including a tea, coffee or juice is easily the cheapest around and uses quality ingredients to boot - two sausages, two bacon, two eggs plus mushrooms, hash browns, beans, tomatoes and toast. The mains list is plain but tasty,mI recommend the jerk chicken (Jamaican origin chef) or the burger (house ground beef by the proprietors). You can add egg, bacon, cheese for no extra charge! Burger, chips and salad for £8. They have a good range of beers and needless to say, the Guinness's is well kept and delicious. A local treasure.

Friendly staff. Like a cosy living room. Good to sit in during the day quite peaceful and quiet.

Went here last Sunday as part of a hen do - had a brilliant time - Georgie (hope I remembered right 🤔) was just fabulous - not only did they sell Cheeky vimtos - turned the music up and let us dance and sing. Everyone really enjoyed themselves - thank you 😊

Definitely a really good and cheap Full English Breakfast - for £8 you get 2 eggs, 2 sausages, bacon, beans, mushrooms, hash browns etc. and a cup of tea, coffee or juice. That's a great deal. Haven't eaten from the main menu. Excellent Guinness.

The only place to ever give me food poisoning... I was ill within 20 mins of eating it and was ill for over 12 hours.... I have been back since without issue but we have since moved on to eat breakfast elsewhere

What a fun loving place to chill and enjoy. We were made very welcome, lovely relaxed atmosphere. Really enjoyed our visit and will be back.

Stayed her for via Air BnB for work purpose what can I say greeted like as part of the family hospitality was down to a point room, spacious friendly and very comfortable accessible to all features and easy access to and from the room to the town centre. I cannot fault this place one bit, but if I have to say one bad thing it would be, I had to leave too early, beautiful people, caring and such a great breakfast Prices are fair for points for the area. Great fun place for late night drunken messiness. Old skool alcopops were a bonus. Not at all pretentious like some of its neighbouring establishments. You can’t go wrong

Sunday lunch with friends once again the most amazing hearty home cooked lunch ! It must be the best in town and such value. Beef, lamb lots of vegetables proper Yorkshire pudding roast and mashed potatoes. Kevin’s team ate all like family it’s home from home .

Great pub, service and atmosphere. Stopped doing John Smiths which was disappointing. But great nonetheless.

Everyone and their fat uncle are convinced that they know "the best Irish pub in the world" - confidently telling their mates that the Guinness is better, the craic flows faster, and the barman knows the name of every patron in the place. At Murphy's, that's actually true. It feels more like you've stumbled into the living room of your long-lost quarter-Irish cousins than walked into a pub - and what a delightful feeling that is. Karaoke night is, for want of a better word, feral. Free "cocktails" for anyone who sings, cheers for the ones who give it their all, heckles for anyone who takes it too seriously (you know who you are, and you're not welcome here). I haven't had a hangover like this since grade school. 10/10.

Fabulous breakfast at Murphy's Bar today as always. There were 8 of us and our Mega Murphys Breakfasts were all cooked and served beautifully. Fabulous ingredients too, you should try it, you won't regret it.

Just wandered in for a drink and ended up staying a while. The staff were friendly enough and the atmosphere was lovely.

I love the breakfast. Hearty before a long day. Recently had the Sunday dinner. A small was enough. Home made Yorkshire's made the dinner that bit better.

Great bar whether it's for a full English or Irish breakfast in the morning or if you're drinking and partying into the night. Friendly staff and reasonably priced food and drink. Regulars are from a diverse range from old to young. Never had any trouble in here that I have seen. It can get very crowded which is the only reason this favourite bar of mine has 4 out of 5 stars. Area downstairs with pool tables which I gathered was more for the younger lot. Quirky decor which I loved. Step going down into the ladies loo does make you have to 'concentrate' on where your stepping after a few bevvies but overall a must to go to when your in Leamington.

An old fashioned type of bar. There is no namby pamby stuff, just good music and normal pub people. We loved the Motown being played when first got there, then a live band played later which were pretty good as well. This pub is not for people who moan about everything it’s for people who enjoy a drink and good music. If we lived there it would be a regular place to visit.

Proper old fashioned pub deep in the heart of Leamington town, really nice friendly staff, great breakfasts and fun loving locals. Keep up the good work Murph

Always a fabulous breakfast here at Murphy's, with top quality ingredients cooked perfectly. Kevin always makes you feel so well looked after. As there were five of us yesterday we could sit at the brilliant new made-to-measure corner table in the window and have plenty of room for our Mega Murphy's breakfasts! Highly recommended 👍

Another amazing breakfast this morning 21st April. Such value for money and the bacon and sausages sourced from a local quality butcher! The five of us enjoyed the new window table which was a real treat. Kevin Murphy and his staff work so hard. This must be the best breakfast in leamington spa ! We all had the mega Murphy which included two hot drinks each ! Thanks again for a brilliant experience.

Fantastic cosy little pub! A throwback vibe along with amazing staff and you’ll do well to find a more competitively priced pub nowadays! Hats off the owner.. best pint of Guinness I’ve had in England and extremely friendly willing to engage in a good ol pub conversation. Great little place to have a few pints.

We eat here regularly. Not only is it the best breakfast in town by far, the Sunday roast takes some beating. I had a beef dinner today and it was the best I have ever had and the price takes some beating.
