Best Chocolate Fudge Cake ever! Lovely little tea room

Smashing little tea rooms. Very busy when we first tried, but after spotting a gluten free white chocolate and raspberry cream sponge, we decided to call back later. So glad we did, it was the best gluten free cake we had ever had, and all made by owner too. Very nice and friendly team too. We'll be back when we are next in Leamington centre.

I visited this tearoom twice with my mum recently. The staff were very nice and efficient. The food was delicious and we enjoyed their scones and sandwiches. I highly recommend this place!

We were most impressed with the Bandstand Tea Rooms. The staff were very friendly and greeted us well on entering and served us well throughout the visit. We had slices of their home made cakes: fresh cream sponge, and orange and almond cake, which were both delicious and "moorish". It was a delight to have loose tea once again and to drink from matching bone china tea cups and saucers. We enquired about parking and were advised of a local car park and shown that sometimes there are spaces outside the Tea Rooms. We definitely will be visiting this place again and have noted that it is closed on Mondays.

Had the afternoon tea, lovely soft bread with plenty of filling. Scone was still warm. Big thanks to the girls serving they were polite and friendly.

Our toddler was desperate for a wee while I was looking at the menu outside. They refused to let my wife bring him in to use the toilet. Who refuses a woman with a small child? Awful people.

Went today for a surprise for my 60th birthday. I e had a lot of cake but can honestly say the raspberry and white chocolate was one of the best I’ve ever had. 100% recommend

A lovely little cafe/tea rooms with some of the most delicious cakes you could wish for. The Victoria sponge is one of the best I've eaten and has what Victoria Sponge should have; fresh cream aswell as jam and a light sponge. The staff are very polite and friendly and we have visited on four occasions now and never had a single issue. Coffee is very good and although the cafe is rather small its nicely decorated and we have always found a table without waiting.

We called for a sandwich for lunch and we were not disappointed. The Wiltshire ham was tasty and very plentiful! Great cuppa too!!

An amazing little place. Cakes are delicious and fresh. We often order the cakes from here for birthdays. They are simple, yet delicious, especially the fresh cream Victoria sponge cake. It is our go to place for yummy scrummy cakes and the staff there are great.

Amazing tea & fresh scone. Their scone is soft and fresh. We went on mother's Day for the first time and it was full. We waited for nearly 30min and then managed to get a table. Some of the table is quite congested especially if it's full. We had afternoon tea and salad which was warm and delicious. Pros: Food , Scones, Tea, Staff Cons: Less spacious and less comfortable

We had Yorkshire and Peppermint tea tea which were lovely and so nice to have a pot with a cup & saucer rather than a mug! We also had roast beef and horseradish & chicken, bacon & mayo sandwiches which were lovely and freshly made. Too full to try any cakes but they looked lovely

Wanted a table seat.. when we arrived..the table by the window was free...just needed cleaning. Would have been happy to wait...was shown to a dark table at the back of the coffee shop... host says. It's this table or it's up to you!!!....poor service...the reserve sign went onto the table after we has asked to sit there.. Highly suspect!!! Decided to leave.. walked over to the pump house cafe... wonderful staff .. welcoming and yummy cakes...could sit where we wanted to. Would not go to Bandstand cafe or recommend.. wouldn't bother.

Nice cafe with a good view of the park. Service was good. Food was ok but fairly simple. Lots of choice of loose leaf teas. Not as good as I had expected after reading other reviews.

Pleasant, sunny tea rooms right in the centre of Leamington spa near the park. We had a lovely sandwich and pot of real tea served in quirky teapots and old fashioned plates and cup and saucers - cakes looked lovely too - very friendly service

Had a lovely coffee and a slice of homemade cake. Excellent staff very good and friendly.

What a delightful place. Proper leaf tea, a strainer and lovely china cups. Absolutely delicious homemade cakes. Even had 2 choices of gluten free cakes. Super staff too. Well worth a visit.

We had a wonderful time here. My partner is celiac so it was great to see they had several gluten free options. The sandwiches were delicious and the cake was next level! I would highly recommend!!!

We visited this small tea room today and enjoyed jacket potato and cheese and salad. It was so nice and nostalgic to have our cups of tea out of a china teapot and to use a tea strainer. (our teapot didnt have a hand knitted teapot cosy, but I noticed another customer's teapot did have one!) The meal was tasty and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They even sincerely apologised for the waterboard workmen who happened to be working outside their premises. We definitely will be visiting this place next time we visit Leamington Spa. The cakes on display looked appertising but we didn't sample them on this occasion. Hopefully next time!

Delicious if very indulgent cakes and meringues. Just you might want to not eat them all at once/split between 2 people due to them being so sweet. Our go-to place for desserts. Photo: Birthday meringue hence the candle (doesn't usually have candles) as was my birthday on the day.

Wonderful, traditional tea room on the edge of the park. Fabulous selection of teas & coffees or have a bite to eat. The food is lovely and why not finish off with a rather large slice of cake. A great little tea room with excellent service

I asked Zoe if she could make one of her amazing Cakes for my mums 50th Birthday. She made an lovely chocolate fudge cake with handmade roses made of icing. I have to say it was one of the most delicious cakes I have eaten. The icing was particularly yummy 😋. Would 100% recommend to anyone. Here is a photo too of my mum with her cake. Thank you again Zoe, I will be coming back again for sure 😊.

We went in search of a Sunday breakfast, but the menu was somewhat limited in this regard. We ended up with an omelette and scrambled egg (served with salad?) and were pleased with the food quality and portion size. The cream tea was delicious, in particular the freshly baked scones. The staff were slightly stand-offish although they warmed up a little after a while. It was a shame that they did not say goodbye when we were leaving and wish us a pleasant day. We may have returned had they done so, if only for their cream tea!

Had the most perfect carrot cake today. Just needed a hot water top up on the teapot and I'd of been in actual heaven.

Very cute and cosy English tearoom cafe with nice pictures of old Leamington spa on the walls. The tuna sandwich tasted home made with packed Tesco salad tbh it was a little bit disappointing, however the chocolate cake was marvellous and definitely recommend for those with sweet tooth 🍫

Lovely little cafe serving homemade breads!

Went with a friend to the tearoom and was super lovely. We went in for lunch and got the toasted sandwiches - the food was delicious and there was a great range of drinks and food. The women that served us were very kind and friendly which made the experience even more lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous find today. Proper china tea cups, non of your horrid plastic ones, delicious homemade lemon curd cake and very friendly staff.

A quick visit for a light sandwich and coffee. Saw on the menu something called a Sakotis, which we discovered was an Eastern European tree cake, hand made by the tearoom. I can only describe it as an extremely moreish, light, slightly chewy vanilla pastry and well worth trying. The rest of our meal was of an equally high standard, and the staff were just genuinely lovely people. A reasonable sized menu offering omellettes and sandwiches and such, but all seem to be really well made. Do also try any of the cakes that they have for an exemplary dessert.

Great coffee, wonderful hot chocolate and cakes/cookies to die for. We go as often as we can, mist dog walks end with a visit to Zoe's.

Zoe made the nicest birthday cake, so tasty and light! always has a smile when we go in, nice coffee and incredible cakes!

Zoe at the Bandstand tea rooms has made 170 scones for our Church over the last 2 weeks. We had scones, cream and jam beautifully boxes for individuals , couples or families. Everyone was delighted with their box and throughly enjoyed the fresh scones. We were also able to have vegan cake, gluten free cake and diabetic jam for those who needed it. I can thoroughly recommend all of the cakes at the Bandstand as I have sampled them all!

Big shout! Been going here for take-away coffees and cake since covid first started I went then took my boyfriend here as there was nowhere else open! what a gem of a find home made cakes lovely and scones are perfect we had sandwiches once all freshly made. Can sit in the park near the bandstand on a nice day. Thankyou Carol and David

Just returned from a walk in Leamington and a takeaway coffee and cake at the Bandstand Tea rooms. The delightful lady had made delicious scones which she was offering free to customers. The coffee was really excellent and we are fussy about our coffee. The service was cheerful. We will make this our regular coffee stop.

Cafes this good should not exist when I'm trying to lose weight!! Had a delicious piece of chocolate cake and a strong refreshing cup of coffee. I will be buying food from here again.

We (wife and I) came on the Friday before all the schools closed due to the pandemic. We've been a few times and enjoyed the meal. And this time was no different. Food was good, but due to the pandemic, it was unsurprisingly quiet.However, it was cold and we were sat by the heater. Staff were pleasant, but again unsurprisingly anxious.Once this situation is over, make sure you visit, as you won't be disappointed.

Popped in here today for a brew and something to eat. Love the mis matched plates and cups. I ordered cheese on toast, lovely bread and cheese! Staff very friendly, the cakes looked amazing. Should of had a slice. Will be back!

Looked on tripadvisor and thought i'd drive out there with my elderly mother as was a bright sunny winters day, lovely setting with views of the pump room gardens, lovely pleasant girl greeted us and seated us on arrival .We had their beautiful homemade cakes and delicious loose leaf tea, can't wait to return when weather is warmer.

Slightly shabby but charming and friendly place to grab a quick drink and a bite. Love the focus on tea rather than coffee, and can personally vouch for the carrot cake.

Fabulous little tea room offering home made cakes galore. We had a freshly made and loaded chicken bacon mayo sandwich with crisps and salad garnish. Beautifully served followed by freshly made warm scones. Absolutely delightful and with views over park. Highly recommend

Excellent scrambled eggs and salmon, nice pot of tea. But it was almost as cold inside as outside. It would also have been nice to have a pot of hot water to go with the tea.

Pretty Average tea rooms. The decor could do with refreshing. Our table had several circular stains on it which was somewhat off-putting. The food is of reasonable quality and the tea was served hot. Very little ambiance so if you are happy with just the basics and nothing extra this is the place

Delicious cakes made on the premises. Highly recommend a visit to this tea room. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Drinks very good and prices are reasonable. We will definitely visit again.

Lovely tearooms scones are amazing plus lovely tea.

Went here for coffee and cake with some friends. Was badly let down at another famous chain so went here instead.Great choice of proper leaf teas and stunning home made cakes. Fantastic service. An added bonus for us was that we had met some friends one of whom is in a wheelchair. Access was really easy, no step and a wide door, all on one level, so all fantastic.

Had lunch here, 4 of us. Well looked after by two very obliging young ladies (one was Charlie) who tended our needs very well. Our choices were hot home-made soup (x2), scrambled egg and salmon and Greek salad. All very tasty and delicious fresh bread. Plentiful pots of tea, good coffee. Cakes to take away for later - suitably rich and a cut above. An extremely enjoyable lunchtime experience.Thanks.

Quaint tea room. We had Breakfast Tea served in a China cup with a strainer. I had a tuna mayonnaise sandwich, my son had the chicken and bacon mayonnaise sandwich. Both came with a side salad. They were very full, fresh and filling. We then shared a slice of chocolate fudge cake. It was the best we have ever had. The sponge was tasty, mioist and light, the chocolate fudge creaming was rich and heavy. We got two forks and shared it. I would recommend this tea room and the homemade cakes.

We came to Leamington Spa specifically to see the bandstand. We were delighted to find The Bandstand Tea Rooms directly opposite the green with a great view of the bandstand itself. We only had time for tea and cake, but there was a good selection of home baked cake and we had two different types, Victoria sponge and chocolate. They were both extremely light, tasty an delicious. A nice pot of tea, and a lovely traditional English feel to the tea room. Will go again next time we are in Leamington Spa.

I've been here several times. The food is nothing unusual but always lovely and the prices are cheap. The service is always slow though. If you're in a hurry perhaps mention it when you order.

Pop in at least twice a month for a treat most excellent service and food

My husband and I visited as we love to support independent businesses rather than large chain coffee shops. Our experience wasn't good. We found a table and sat down. A menu was given to us. The menus are tatty. We looked at the menu offering and some yummy dishes listed. We waited and waited and no one came to take our order. Another couple came in some time after us and sat in the next table to us. They got given a menu and at the same time their table was cleared and wiped. The crumbs from that table the staff wiped off onto the floor. We again waited for service. The waitress came back took the order from the couple on the next table who had come in after us and she ignored us. So after sitting for 20 plus mins being ignored we left.

Discovered on the way to the Leamington art in the park. Cosy little gem of a tea room. Nice location, decor and friendly staff. Food presentation was excellent on the day and very tasty too. Excellent coffee too! Highly recommend!

Visited today. Menu looked tatty. We found a seat and waited for service. Sadly we got ignored. A couple who came in some time after us sat down and had their order taken. Again we got ignored. So my husband and I left.

Have only recently discovered this tea room but it's now my favourite place to go for tea in Leamington, Great location, nice ambience, and the most amazing cakes (with very generous portions!).

What a lovely place with staff so kind and obliging! I had an omelette with chorizo and potato and it was delicious. The side salad was perfect and nicely dressed with a balsamic mix. Fresh orange juice and coffee, too - all at a modest price with great service. The owner kindly offered to bake me a carrot cake for collection next week and I look forward to that. This will now become my weekly brunch venue.

I had a beautiful artisan bread roll with brie and roasted vegetable. Also had the best ever Victoria sandwich with fresh cream. The lemon cheesecake has a thick layer of lemon curd on top, its beautiful.

They are a gem of peace and quiet with amazing cakes and lots of teas to choose from.

Overlooks the bandstand now being restored. Near bottom of shopping centre. The sun comes straight in windows in the morning but they have blinds down Popular and sometimes they reserve tables so you can't get in even if it looks like they have spare places

We have only been to the town on two occasions and each time we visited this lovely place. We really enjoyed our visits.

Visited Leamington Spa and wanted brunch. Saw Bandstand as we drove in. Lovely tea room. Food excellent and servers were knowledgeable. Great variety of teas. Would visit again.

There was a warm welcome on a cold day as I stepped inside and I chose to sit looking out of he window. The mocha was hot and delicious, the cakes looked good too. Service was friendly, the table set with china cups and saucers too.

Seen this tea rooms many times but always busy when ever we wanted to visit until last Saturday 19th Jan.it was fairly quite so we had no trouble in finding table for the two of each. The lite lunch where really nice and not to filling. Would recommend this place to my friends and family.

Excellent choice of teas and plenty of home made cakes. Their lunch sandwiches make the high street chain lunch portions look miserly. Do try the Victoria sponge cake if you get a chance. You won't be disappointed.

Visited on a cold and foggy November day and were welcomed into a cosy and comfy little tea rooms. The tables were all set with lovely little cups and saucers which set the scene perfectly. We both have the afternoon tea special (I added a mini bottle of fizz to mine). The sandwiches were absolutely delicious, the early grey tea yummy and the scones were warm accompanied by jam and (for me all important) clotted cream. We were offered the chance to take our slices of cake home which was fab as we were absolutely stuffed. Looking forward to Victoria sponge and chocolate truffle cake for tea. Highly recommended.

Visited this last during the week having seen good reviews on here and it did not disappoint!

We have visited Leamington Spa on occasions and we found the Bandstand Tea Rooms on our last visit. This time the food and service was every bit as good as before. The Earl Grey tea was wonderful and I ordered two salads for myself and my Partner. I had the salmon salad and my Partner opted for the Ceasar Chicken salad. Both were very well presented and delicious. This tea room has a lovely atmosphere with wonderful background music (not loud ... just at a nice level) it is often music from.the 1960s and this time we were treated to The Beatles. The service is very friendly and efficient and the window tables have a view of the bandstand and Pump Rooms.

Loved this place. Just had a simple Salmon sandwich and tea. Well presented with a side of salad and crisps. Good choice of other sandwiches and top leaf teas. Also had wonderful range of cakes all reasonable priced. Will try one next time I'm there. Highly recommended.

Just came across this tea room by chance and I’m very pleased I did. Extremely good service and excellent food. Leaf tea which is the best and very hard to find in tea rooms and coffee shops. Well worth a visit.
