I enjoyed a warm welcome and fabulous food when I met for a business meeting recently. Carmen looked after us. She was friendly and helpful; even provided a plaster for the finger I cut just before I joined a colleague for lunch.

Me and my partner came in tonight just for a mid week date night. We had a meal at red hot mamma’s but their drinks menu weren’t all that good so we came here. It was empty but the 2 workers, Freddie and niamh, were very welcoming and excited to serve us. we sat at the bar and was asked if would like a menu or a special from the bartender. He asked what alcohols we like, what flavours, and tbh was blown away. He turned it into a competition with the other worker into who could make us the best drink as they were empty and it made us feel like we had our own private bar. An amazing experience with people who are clearly very passionate about it. I was handed a banana New York sour and my partner was given a jagermeister mohito, which honestly was weirdly really nice. Couldn’t tell you about the food but will definitely try some when we come back for the drinks again. Was told about a new menu coming soon so is perfect timing really.

Second time I've been here and the food is even better this time. I had seafood spaghetti and it was delicious. I'm Italian and am always worried I'm going to be disappointed when ordering Italian food as I know what it should taste like. Both my children shared a pizza which they loved and my partner had the Bream - amazing!!! Oh and the calamari as starter are amazing.

Had been looking forward to trying Tavola as we love Italian food. We were greeted well and shown to our table but it was very obvious that it had not been set up properly for an evening dinner. No napkins were set out and cutlery and side plates were misplaced. Service was good but food disappointing. Portions of pasta were minute, no bigger than the palms of your hand, placed in the centre of a massive bowl. Carbonara bland and unseasoned. To leave feeling full you will need to take out a mortgage as prices are ridiculous for what you get. Tavola is probably a good place for a drink or cocktail and a bar snack but it is not a restaurant. To achieve this they need to sort out the menu and the pricing. There are much better places to eat in Leamington. We will not return.

Visited Tavola on Saturday and received great service from Tom and Niamh. Food was delicious but felt the lighting was a bit dim

Great spot for tasty Italian food that’s as good to look at as it is to eat. The dishes are packed with flavor and beautifully presented, showing care and attention. The service is friendly, but it could feel a bit more polished to match the quality of the food. That said, it’s still a lovely place for a meal, and the delicious food definitely makes it worth a visit.

Food ranges from very good to average. Good service

A beautiful dining room perfectly coupled to authentic Italian dishes made with passion. I spent many years in the restaurant industry and cannot praise Tavola highly enough. Completely different from the usual faux Italian restaurants in Leamington. Try the spaghetti carbonara. Perfection!

Dude was totally awesome! Made the afternoon with friends an excellent experience. Often, a dining experience is defined by the staff, and Ini did not disappoint. He was a legend and we laughed our way through such a nice afternoon. Thank you dude.

Amazing filled focaccia style sandwiches available at lunch (really reminded me of Florence) lovely restaurant, the server was very friendly and helpful. Was able to help me with allergen information. Limoncello spritz were lovely too. Restaurant was a little cold but we were sat under the glass roof.

Had a party of 50 here. Luke and the team did really well, they were so nice and tried to bring everything so quick. definitely recommend!

Can’t rate the food or drinks as we walked out after being blatantly ignored by 3 members of staff. It was not overly busy they were just ignorant and rude. Sad as it looked like a nice establishment that my friend and I wanted to try. We sat at the bar waiting to be served, we were not greeted at all. A simple ‘I’ll be with you in a minute’ would have sufficed. Won’t be giving it another chance.

Went for our Christmas lunch and Tom looked after us so well, made it a super pleasant afternoon. Food was great, would recommend everything on the menu, lovely atmosphere with the music and decor. Couldn’t recommend it more, will go back again. Cheers Tom!

Unfortunately it seems like it's going downhill. We've been before and it was great, but the latest trip was pretty average. First up are the drinks prices which they seemingly make up on the day. The cocktail menu states 2 for £12, as we ordered our waitress said we couldn't have the offer because we were too big a group (no mention of this on the menu), when we challenged this at the bar they said it was actually because the offer is only valid mid week (again, nothing on the menu), then they were priced at £10.50 on the dessert menu and finally we were charged £12. The food overall was OK. The pasta was pretty good but some pizzas were overcooked, some undercooked. Also apparently the women's toilets are in need of some upkeep (broken lights, taps and no loo roll). It's a shame because the first few trips we had here were really enjoyable, and it should be said that our two serving staff were great!

Food and ambience was amazing. Cocktails and drinks were especially exceptional. Compliments to Freddie who made the evening extra special with his service and drinks knowledge.

I think the restaurant will do well, as the food is really tasty; but the service was not up to standard. We visited the restaurant on Saturday 30th November, a 6pm booking as we had later plans. So the restaurant wasn't too busy. It seemed to be a challenge for our server to find our booking/allocate us a table; but eventually we were seated. We ordered our food - though was disappointed the option to add meat to a veggie dish wasn't an option (which you would normally find in other Italian restaurants) but, not a deal breaker. We ordered cocktails - as the drinks menu showed 2 for £12 cocktails must be the same. No reference to timings or specific days of when this promotion runs. So we ordered our drinks. The food came & it was delicious. Though there was no offer of parmesan; we had to ask for it. Whilst I had finished my food, the waiter came to clear the table when my friend hadn't finished her meal. She had to say, no I haven't finished yet. Never experienced that in a restaurant before. We wanted desserts & ordered 2 more cocktails to go with the desserts. This is when it got strange; the waiter said, you do know the 2 for £12 offer isn't running (no, no one had advised us of this) I pointed out that it's not stated anywhere in the menu about times/days where this promotion runs - therefore it's false advertising. The waiter just said "it's what I've been told to say by the manager". So we went ahead & ordered 2 different cocktails. Our desserts were brought out by another waiter; we spoke to him about it & you could tell how frustrated he was by it. It's not difficult to reprint a menu, or add in timings when the promotion runs. But it turns out, the promotion is run on manager's discretion. I.e. if the restaurant is too busy, he will stop the promotion. If you're too busy to keep up with demands, remove the promotion. Or add it in for quieter times. Don't just do it when it pleases you. When the bill came; we did get 2 for £12 on the 1st drinks & then not for the other 2 (as we ordered different ones) I wonder if we would get the promotion if we had ordered the same? It was totally bizarre!!! To summarise; food was great. Service was just weird . . .

The place was cold, food tepid and service poor. When asked if everything was ok, we advised that the food was tepid. The waiter was at a total loss as to what to say or do, so just said ‘O’ and walked off. We then had a 10% service charge added to our bill! Shocking - certainly wont be going back or recommending as to many other great places to eat

I have been twice for bottomless brunch and both times have been great. The cocktails are made fresh to order with high end ingredients. There is a broad selection of food and drink options on the menu, having tried both a pasta and pizza dish, the food itself is delicious. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, despite a fairly busy restaurant. I'd highly recommend, will definitely be back. The extra limoncello shot to celebrate a birthday was much appreciated!

Popped in for a takeaway sandwich on my lunch break and couldn’t recommend it enough! The sandwich itself was delicious with really fresh ingredients, and is even warm. This is also only half of the sandwich, so excellent value for money for the size and quality of ingredients. Really quick efficient service too. If you’re stuck on what to do for lunch, don’t hesitate to pop into Tavola!

A really enjoyable experience. Obviously a popular place. The dough balls with ricotta and prosciutto were delicious - am still thinking about them 3 days later. Authentic and plentiful pasta. Decent range of choices. Service was efficient if not especially friendly. Would recommend for tasty Italian in the area and would return.

Took our 18 year old twin daughters for their first bottomless brunch and had the most amazing experience from the time of booking! We all had different food from the menu and it was all delicious, the cocktails were really good quality and the service fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and we’ll definitely rerun.

A high-end restaurant that pursues real food. The atmosphere is great. The cocktails delighted my palate. The quality of the Guanciale in the Carbonara is magnificent. The pizzas are crispier and tastier than traditional dough. I wanted it to never end. Value for money 5 stars! Definitely in the top 5 in the Leamington area. Thank you Tavola.

Went today for bottomless brunch. Great selection of cocktails for a brunch menu at a reasonable price BUT advertise choice of pizza, pasta or salad as food choice but no salads on the menu apart from side salad. Pizza was ok but pastas below average. Had to constantly ask for service to get drinks and then v slow: staff friendly but more interest in chatting to one another than serving. Wouldn’t recommend brunch there unfortunately.

The BEST bottomless brunch in Leamington Spa! We had an incredible experience with wonderful food alongside the best service. Me and my friends came for bottomless and it was the BEST place ever! Food was amazing and the service was impeccable! All the staff were great and Luke was amazing making sure we had drinks topped up and the food was to our liking. Will 100% be back!!

Luke was fantastic, Was a huge fan of the home made bread, the sandwiches were real good. I was in a group doing bottomless brunch which was good value. I was driving so just had a beer but the service was exceptional and everyone said the drinks were too.

Lovely restaurant. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. Pizza was one of the best I've had. It was a lovely experience. Only thing I would say was that it was a little cold in there to begin with. Would definitely go back though, just maybe with a jumper!

We have just moved to Leamington, and were attracted to this restaurant by its modern decor. However, after dining there thats all it has going for it. Its a classic case of focusing on the image rather than the incredibly bland barely warm food. The truffle porchini pasta was a gloopy mess, its main flavour was flour. You can make a better pasta at home and I recommend a visit from Gordon Ramseys Kitchen Nightmares for Tavola.

Fairly small menu selection. Good pasta. Good local Leamington beers. Desserts were particularly good. Nice ambience. Attentive service. We went for starter, pasta and dessert which was enough but we could have gone full Italian and added a main. Large selection of Italian cocktails and wines which we didn't try as most people were driving. The alcohol free alternatives were good though. A little pricey but where isn't these days.

Tom was an excellent host, the drinks were brilliant and we will definitely return again.

Cocktail I had was dirty banana and was delicious. I would return to try more cocktails. The food was nice but overpriced for what we had. The food menu was quite boring and unlike some places that downplay food on the menu and you are pleasantly surprised, this isn’t one of them. Overall this place is quite uninspired and I won’t be in a rush to go back for food.

Best Italian in Leamington Spa! Came here a few weeks ago to check the restaurant out since the refurb and the new owners have massively freshened the place up - really bright, stylish and overall just a nice place to be. Service was great, we were served by Luke who was superb. He talked us through the menu, gave us a few recommendations (in particular, the supplì which were fantastic!) and was very attentive throughout. My partner had the Pollo Milanese and I had the Rigatoni Nduja with some zucchini fries, supplì and garlic bread on the side. Everything we had was delicious, probably some of the best Italian food we’ve had in the UK! Overall great night, would absolutely recommend and we definitely will be visiting again!

Walk in to full restaurant after a long day. Seated in bar area with drink while waiting for takeaway pizza. It arrived before drinks finished so invited to eat in. 8 year old.son insisted we review as it was such amazing pizza.

Ambience great Staff great Food terrible Menu poor The meat sharing board for starter was OK but it was just meat and a few leaves - no bread or other accompaniments. Main lasagne was a slice on a small plate - very dry like it had been microwaved several times - no side comes with this you have to order extra so I went for the garlic bread which I didn’t enjoy (this was personal taste because my husband thought it was ok). Main chicken Milanese which came with fries (it does not state this on the menu - the waiter did tell us so we didn’t order a side). The meal looked very unappetising and the chicken was dry - you’d be better off with a KFC. We didn’t order dessert because the main was so poor - there are many more better restaurants in Leamington Spa. It’s such a shame because the place and the staff were great.

Food was great. Drinks were fantastic. Luke was really knowledgeable and informative. Luke let me sample the new Hot Honey Margarita cocktail which was lovely. It was nice to be somewhere where you felt the staff knew what they were talking about, and showed an interest in. Can’t wait to come back to try the new cocktail menu!

Really delicious food and quick service. A lovely calm atmosphere, with fun paintings and cozy seating. I especially recommend the dessert- my whole family was thrilled!

This is a beautiful building and the owners have restored and decorated it to a very high standard. The interior, new seating, fixtures and fittings have been very tastefully done. The food is nice, basic Italian. I had a pizza and a decent glass of red. The desert menu was small but tasty. I’m really glad that someone has taken on this beautiful building and making a go of it. I hope it succeeds.

Amazing place, our new favourite Italian. Pizzas were amazing, the kids actually ate their food and the desserts disappeared in a few minutes. Authentically friendly service, light and airy decor, we'll definitely be back!
