Collected an order yesterday during Lockdown 2 - we tried a variety of breads and cakes - they were so delicious they didn’t last very long. Will see you next Saturday unless your opening again before then. Thanks so much!

Delicious pastries. The cinnamon bullar is a special treat. We’ve been here twice recently. Takeaway in July for my daughter’s birthday. Cafe, sitting outside, in August for my birthday.

Excellent bakery. Staff are super friendly, despite how busy they always are at the weekend. Never disappointed with the pastries. Look forward to our sourdough on a Sunday morning. The owner Neil, is a really talented baker. Definitely worth a visit.

I stumbled across this treasure trove late this morning and ordered a cappuccino accompanied by a little piece of heaven aka their truly scrumptious almond croissant. Flakey , buttery and judiciously balanced with sweet and savoury notes, ooo la la. Once I’d devoured the croissant I felt obliged to take a loaf of sourdough bread and a barrel load of croissants home and spread the joy to my family. One more regular customer in the bag!

Great little indie bakery. Love the variety that they have on offer each week. Hasn’t disappointed each time we go in. You have to get there early though on a Saturday before they run out!

My sourdough loaf ended up on the garage roof for the birds. The birds didn't seem to mind that the dough had not been knocked back properly, resulting in huge voids in the bread. The birds were even prepared to forgive the attempt to bake the loaf too quickly, leaving them with a loaf that was burnt on the outside while wet inside. My curiosity is now satisfied, so it's back to Haddie & Trilby.

Having tried this place & enjoyed their pastries & coffee I took my daughter. We stood waiting whilst the server made drinks for the customer in front, when it was our turn the service said I’m not serving any more...we are now shut. I can understand a cafe shutting - but please don’t leave customers waiting, let them know as they come in that you’ve shut as it’s polite, a little bit of thoughtfulness goes a long way. Sadly I haven’t returned as not really wanting to get caught out again and so my daughter hasn’t tried their cakes.

For those in-the-know, this is the artisan bakery of choice in the centre of Warwick. This is my regular weekly stop-off for the cruffin of the week - changes each week - along with other sweet pastries such as the sublime cinamon and cardamon bullah and the best pain au chocolat anywhere in Warwick. Add in their savoury pastries, breakfast sandwiches and greta lunchtime bites - you MUST try The Reuben - along with a variety of breads for sale, the malt sourdough is my personal favourite. And, they serve coffee! Espresso-based stuff (latte, flat white, capuccino and the like along with a regular changing filter coffee (my personal favourite). Is there a downside - limited seating. They also do weekend baking specials. You must give this place a try - a little gem - but get a loyalty card as you WILL be back!

Fantastic bakery in the centre of Warwick. Dropped in for a quick bite to eat on our way down south. We had the foccacia style sandwiches - absolutely fantastic, beautifully baked and a superb filling including roquito mayo! Took some pastries and a couple of loaves away with us which were all eaten the next day! :) Staff were all really friendly and accommodating. Coffee spot on - rumour has it that one of the grinders is the brand used in the barista world championships... Make sure you drop in on your next visit to the town.

Popped in today for the the first time - and it won't be my last. Friendly service and really good coffee. I tried a bular pastry which is like a heavier brioche of Scandi origin and took away a cheesy sausage roll which was wonderfully indulgent in its buttery-cheesiness. Service can be slow at peak times as it's only a small shop with a small coffee machine. Worth the wait though!

Firstly, the coffee is amazing. The sausage rolls are the best I've ever had, and I'm from the north (so that pretty much certifies me as an expert), but if you are lucky enough to try one of the breakfast muffins... your mind will be blown. Everyone working there is also super nice. If 13 is your unlucky number, it won't be for long, highest recommendation!

We came to Hill Close Gardens to see the Chrysanthemums and googled a good place for coffee in Warwick beforehand. Thirteen Bakers looked interesting although it didn't seem to be known by locals when we were searching for it. Finally, we came upon it and were so pleased we had. Thirteen Bakers ( bakers dozen, of course) was everything we had hoped it would be. Bakery in the back of a small single fronted shop and a few tables to eat in. Wonderful sourdough and breakfast goods. Sausage rolls hot ready for purchase. My friend had an awesome croissant, made from scratch, and I had a cinnamon, appley confection the name of which escapes me! Oh, and fabulous coffee. Busy with take out costumers who know a thing or two! We left with two more apple pastries and a sour dough each. A hidden gem!

We spent a perfect hour at Thirteen this afternoon - the coffee was superb and despite being at the back end of the lunch rush with choice limited we still couldn't decide what to have, it all looked so good. We shared a Jambalaya wrap and a cinnamon (Swedish?) Bullar and both were absolutely amazing. Really enjoyed chatting to the lovely staff who were informative and passionate about the business and the town. This café is just what Warwick has needed for years - a bonafide café and bakery run by people who visibly love what they do - can' wait to go back.

Thirteen has become our favourite place to pop and have a coffee and pastry on Saturday mornings. Coffee is always amazing, but the difficulty arises when you are forced to make a choice between the incredible pastries on offer, croissant, bullar or the ever evolving cruffin with its mouth watering fillings!? Everything is freshly baked and you can even watch the bakers hard at work. We always pick up a loaf of the malted sourdough on the way out ready for lunch, delicious.

Visited with my friend and her new baby and stayed for nearly 3 hours. Maybe the secret isn't out yet, but it soon will be! People came and went but it never got too busy so we didn't feel like we were hogging one of the few tables. Probably enough seating for 8 people. There was a small but tasty selection of breads and cakes and ready made sandwiches. We had good tea, coffee and hot chocolate as well as brownies. I love that you can see into the kitchen and it was all spotlessly clean. The staff were really friendly and I wondered if we had stayed past closing time as it went very quiet and they looked like they had run out of things to do. But they didn't say anything and even commented on how good the baby had been - very friendly. Really enjoyed our visit.

Great selection of drinks, tasters of beers offered with out asking and then you can buy in 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, Pint or 2L. Great way to allow you to try several different beers. Excellent bar staff advising on what to try. Then drinks other than beer, Gins and Rum galore to chose from. Food was really good, good menu and Tuesday is 2for1 on amazing pizzas so we had to try 2 of those. Selection, atmosphere and especially staff really makes it really worth a visit.
