Nice bagels, friendly staff. Tables should be cleaned down regularly, dirty sitting down, trays left for 30 mins on departed tables while we were here. Staff chatting between themselves, less chat more cleaning, I'll come back and 5 star up, god bless

Not pleasant seeing flies land all over the bagels and desserts. I don't understand why there's not a case cover over the food to prevent that from happening so, it's pretty off putting. Bagel was mediocre. Service was friendly. It's just the fly situation that needs sorting out BIG TIME.

Went on a Saturday morning. Six very young women behind the counter. One of them on the till. The other five chatting, dancing, checking their phones. Noticed five or six people waiting, several looking very fed up. Two of the young women seemed to be making up bagels - but generally messing about at the same time so that very little was getting done. The older woman on the till looked completely fed up. Waited, waited and waited for our order. Another customer went to the counter and asked how much longer, at which point orders started to be delivered. Unfortunately my bagel - The Hot Reuben (£11.50) was nowhere near as good as previous occasions - very strangely there was a huge amount of meat and hardly any pickle, gherkin or sauce - so it was basically hot meat and very cold bagel. The balance was completely wrong and it was obvious that whoever was doing the bagels hadn’t really got a clue and/or was not paying attention. Disappointing because they used to be really good. If I was running the place three of those women would not be there and they would all trained on basic customer service, making up bagels and professional standards. Especially as they are giving away a lot of meat because they are not balancing it with the other ingredients.

Had the VLT and Caprese. Both tasty. Good service. A bit overpriced.

Not the cheapest place to pick up a sandwich, but you pay for what you get and the Quality is very much there. Based on the price and the perceived quality of the rest of the ingredients they should probably take a look at The sausages they use as they were disappointing, but everything else was top-notch. Would highly recommend

Bagel was hard, salad looked like bagged Tesco leaves, cheap products, measly taste.

Have been quite a regular over the years and could never fault the food or staff but the prices have now tipped the scale of just not worth it. £8.50 for a small bagel with a bit of chicken and bacon is just crazy.

Nice location with a very tasty selection of bagels. We had the Greek and the Cuban from here, both were tasty however the Greek left a bit more to be desired and the Cuban for £11 was a little steep. The iced latte was very nice and so was the biscoff donut. Staff were professional and friendly, despite the place getting fairly busy at times. Will be visiting again in the future to try more bagels!

Tasty vegan bagel but many more vegan options are required across the menu. Items are also overpriced sadly.

Used to be good and have great bagel but then they decided to double their price and rip everyone off. Don’t know how they can justify the price increase when they are not offering an improved product

Waited over half an hour for what ended up being a luke -warm/practically cold bagel (meant to be hot!) in that time they couldn’t even remember to give me the hash browns that a ordered. Total disaster would absolutely not recommend.

Had the reuben deli and the wakeup call breakfast bagels with the maple seasoned tater tots. Honestly one of the best breakfasts I've ever had at a cafe, on the pricey side but when you see the amount and quality of pastrami in the sandwich you won't wonder why. From my limited experience with delis in pennsylvania the deli bagel is very authentic, and everything tasted great and was cooked to perfection. We separately had some baked treats to go which also look amazing but haven't tried yet. Amazing.

They’ve almost doubled the prices of the bagels and now if you want one of usual items you have to buy a ‘meal’ which just includes tater tots which are only 3 quid anyway. Won’t go back. 14 quid for this is nowhere near worth it.

The food tasted good however there were hairs in both of our bagels. Service was slow and not many options for bread. Also felt like we were interrupting private convos between the staff.

Rude service. Wouldn’t recommend as the people workrong there made us feel like we were interfering in their private conversations. Rude when answering questions. No paper menus so difficult to read the menu if you struggle to read off the back wall. Waiter turned her back to us when we were asking her questions about the food. Anyway we ended up going next door where the atmosphere was better.

Terrible service. Commited a mistake and didn't try to sort it. Never again. The baked beans need seasoning, they are the worst I ever had. The sausage was disgusting. Just put some effort into cooking and products you serve. And also train your waiters to deal better with mistakes.

Meant to open at 9, stood outside in the rain for 10 minutes while the woman ignored us. Don’t put open 9am when people have busy lives, wasting my time.

I usually eat anything, everything - but the 'vagabond' bagel I had at Steamhouse Leamington was the one exception! Served cut in half in a tiny paper bag that was slippery-stuck to the bagel, I couldn't eat it without the filling sliding out and having to resort to fingers. I paid £7.95 for a slice of tomato, a bit of onion, a few bits of pickled jalapeno and a few pieces of 'chicken'. To call this chicken is a stretch - reconstituted chicken (probably M.R.P.) processed into thin tasteless, colourless and structure-less squares! Revolting. Over-priced, poorly presented and without any pleasure in the eating, I certainly will not going back there again!

Cold, thick doughy bagel, about right with the amount of filling (i got the smoked salmon), but if the bagel itself is bad, it spoils the whole thing. Maybe a one off, but wouldn't go back.

Food was amazing and staff were really patient while I took some time to order.

Price was reasonable for the size and quality of the bagel and the filling. I had the Ruben, nice quick eat. It is a small place and the bagel sandwiches are made to order so be to wait.

Awesome bagels, quality coffee. The Reuben is brilliant. Highly recommended. It is small inside, so probably better as a takeaway option.

Good bagels, although a bit pricey

The food is quite tasty. However, there have always been many flies in the shop. This is disconcerting when you're sat eating a bagel while watching flies land on the ones at the back! Bagels + cakes are kept out in the open so the flies always have easy access. Very unhygienic!

We buy takeaway, we had cuban bagels not eaten till late at night, it’s taste good I believe if we eat it straight away it’s will taste even better. Will try again. The doughnut was good too! Will try their drinks next time. Definitely worth it for the next time.

I like a good bagel and this was a really good bagel. Had the phily, and the steak was cut so thick but was such a good cut of meat. Perfect proportions of the filling, really could not fault it.

Really tasty bagels and their cakes are a welcomed treat. Ordered ahead of time for our bagels but was left a little disgruntled as the wait for our coffee was 20 minutes after we had our bagels (we ordered it on the app at the same time). Didn't dampen our mood as we left with a box full of cakes and we will be back!

Excellent coffee and lovely bagels. Quite a small shop but runs very well with great staff. They do create new bagels from time to time and their bakery items like donuts are amazing

'best bagel I've ever had in my life'

I found a hair in my bagel on my last visit. This isn’t the first time it has happened, I called them after the first time and they offered to change it but I had already returned to work so couldn’t come back out. I didn’t go for a long time after this happened however this happening again has completely put me off ever going again. Even when I tried to remove the hair it was embedded into the bread of the bagel and I had to dig into it to even be able to pull it out. I absolutely could not continue eating this afterwards. I have noticed the staff do not wear hair nets which really shocks me when it comes to serving food. I know it is not a legal requirement but this has happened to me twice now so it is an issue which should be addressed with their staff. The first time I explained what happened it would’ve been good to see if they had made changes with their staff regarding hair and hair nets etc but the fact that nothing was done and it happened again shows me they do not really care about this. A lot of things I can put aside and not complain about but correct sanitation when it comes to food is essential. I am really shocked they do not take this more seriously

Freshly ground coffee, really tasty light fluffy doughnuts. Service with a smile so I can't wait to go back and try their smoked salmon breakfast.

Great place for bagels. Different bread (bagels) to choose from and a variety of flavours, with vegetarian options available. Great for a quick bite and for groups. Also very good option for takeaway, the service was very fast.

The food was absolutely gorgeous - very fresh and filling, couldn’t fault it. However the price of the drinks was unbelievable! I ordered an iced tea for £3.20, and it arrived in a tiny glass. Awful value for money from a drinks perspective, but otherwise very good.

Average, food was OK cool concept. Think bagels could be slightly bigger. American style! Great layout

Love this place. Always busy and full of customers, lovely staff creating amazing food for on the go or to eat in! Nice variety of bagels and treats to choose from. Be aware due to how busy they are serving times can be a pain but it's definitely worth the wait. I recommend The Cuban.

Really good place with a wide range of fillings and toppings

Finally been let down, I ordered the Plucky Clucker and sadly it was poor made and the 'home made' coleslaw was basically red cabbage and red onion in thumb sized pieces....shame

Fantastic bagels but are not the quickest at times

This place is popular and I can see why. I ordered The Fun Guy (mushroom and halloumi) bagel. It was just perfect with the right amount of sauce on it. I took it to take away and it didn’t take long to wait. There are a few tables inside and out.

Called here for a mid ride food stop whilst in Leamington Spa. Lovely artisan bagels and fine coffee. There's plenty on the menu but I couldn't make up my mind and ended up asking for a recommendation. Breakfast bagel was the reply and they weren't wrong. We sat outside and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We're planning another visit soon.

Arrived just as it opened and had a great breakfast. Service perfect as I was the only one here. Now been open for 40 minutes and it's filling up. Amused myself reading the bad reviews (most are good) They all get the same canned response, probably from a bot. Everywhere gets a few bad reviews and what I look for is a meaningful response from the management. A canned response tells me that they probably don't care.

A lovley brunch and healthy alternative to other places easy to eat and flavourful staff were great and although small the place was thriving. Would recommend I had the blt and my girlfriend had "the southern gent" bother were lovley 👍🏼

Stopped here today for the first time and tentatively ordered the reuben bagel. I was not disappointed. Thick, succulent pastrami, along with excellent quality bagel and other toppings made for a really superb lunch. Would highly recommend for this bagel alone.

Hands down one of the best take out spots in leam. Friendly and fast service, always helpful staff, amazing coffee and food, and the store itself is very nice and well kept. Sometimes during a lunch rush it can get to be a relatively large wait for a bagel or two but well worth the wait! 10/10 would recommend.

Nice hot chocolate with a large marshmallow like Forrest in Kenilworth. So 👍 for that. A little naughty for charging an extra 20p to have oat milk though. Not experienced that before in any other coffee house, cafe or restaurant that I have visited.

One of my favourite foodie spots in Central Leamington Spa. The bagels from here are always lovely quality and taste great. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. I love the range of veggie and vegan options available too. The cakes and doughnuts are absolutely amazing - I high recommend trying them. Prices are a little high but worth it.

Very DISAPPOINTED customer. I ordered a bagel today which contained salad leaves, and when I bit into the bagel I realised that half of the leaves were black, wilted and mouldy. It tasted bitter and disgusting, not to mention a WASTE of money. I’m a regular customer and won’t be returning after this, the product quality has clearly declined after the refurbishment.

Great selection of bagels and sweet treats, really is something for everyone with the variations, and they're not stingy with the fillings! I had a complaint previously and they remade my bagel and gave me a free doughnut - excellent service and friendly staff.

If you want to experience a donut that will BLOW YOUR MIND and tastebuds, then you MUST try the incredible selection of donuts that The Steamhouse make.I purchased a box from their pop up at The Farm in Stratford Upon Avon.The white chocolate and raspberry filling was outstanding.Less of taste and flavours, I suggest just trying the selection. You won’t be disappointed.

Cute little place with great food and drinks, but the customer service was somewhat lacking. The server acted as if you were inconveniencing them by making an order and could hardly bother to respond to questions, let alone make you feel welcome.

We love Steamhouse and are regulars there. The bagels, doughnuts and cakes are all to die for, the coffee is good and the staff are very friendly

The bagel I had was really good but the service is not only slow but poor. Due to Covid restrictions, they have to have distancing etc which is understandable but you’re waiting about 20 minutes and then you get nothing from the staff. Their engagement is on another planet. When I gave my order, I honestly wasn’t sure if she heard it. There is just no energy in that place, it was honestly a bit uncomfortable because they didn’t even talk to each other. Best way I can describe it is imagine your walk into somewhere where people have have just had an argument. I think it would be really helpful if when you come in they would smile and say thank you for waiting. Respectfully, I think they might need to do some team building and customer service training. I think it could make a big difference.
