I'd been to the TB in Leamington but wasn't a fan, so when the team decided that we would come here, I was hesitant. However, we came on a quiet evening (5 of us) and I had a very enjoyable meal. Choices were bad and prices were not extortionate.
It's not a bad place, and if suggested as a place to go I wouldn't be so hesitant.

Stunning restaurant, decorated so well for Christmas. Service, food and drinks were exemplary!! We will be back again for definite. The Sunday lunch was Amazing!!
Seven of us had an absolutely splendid luncheon this Wednesday 19th February. In a charming country pub, in an almost private room off the main part of the pub and its other dining spaces. We had a most leisurely repast of two courses, with ales, ciders and wine. The menu was nicely varied and most appropriate for these cool days. Servings sizes were spot on. The excellence was in the flavours and in the textures. There was time between ordering and the courses for convivial chatter and merriment, so time just flew by before the settlement time arrived.
We were very well after by the staff who had full knowledge of what was on offer, such every question answered with confidence and authority. The facilities were well looked after and clean, with obvious recent investment expended.
All in all, a cracking good lunch. We shall be back!
No. 3 lived up to my high expectations having read all the excellent reviews. What a treat! Welcoming professional staff, menu with seasonal and local produce, beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. It was buzzing on a Saturday lunchtime but the service was prompt and friendly. Booking is probably wise as it seems very deservedly to be the best place to eat in this characterful little town. We hope to be back soon.
A wonderfully intimate culinary experience! Only a handful of tables so a really special feeling, service is extremely attentive and the waiters knowledge of the food is impeccable! The kitchen is open so you can see the hustle and bustle, however it isn’t noisy or at all uncomfortable - highly recommend!
Really excellent food! Lovely customer service, young gentleman was extremely polite and helpful. Owner was attentive and extremely polite. Cannot fault the food, far superior to many visited in Shropshire / Midlands. Will definitely be recommending and return soon… fabulous!
Sunday Carvery. Best in Herefordshire.
Fantastic food, plentiful meat and loads of veg.
Service was spot on as usual. Special mention to Adaire for her friendly welcome and attention to customers.
PS Baileys Cheesecake is immense!
This is the third time we have visited here and we received a lovely welcome as always . The meal was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful .
To round of the evening George came out and spoke to everyone at the tables to make sure everything was OK with meals etc.
A lovely touch to actually the chef/ owner .
Lovely evening. Will be going again.
Visiting friends in the area and they took us to the Cider Barn, what a lovely treat. The food was delicious and the service great. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the barns are beautiful.
They also offer meals that you can purchase to take away and cook at home. We bought a couple of these and again they were lovely. We would highly recommend
Very lovely meal for my Dad’s birthday.
Was a last minute thing and got us a table no problem.
Food was delicious and service was excellent. Very good feeling place to go.
I was treated extremely nicely as I have a peanut allergy and couldn’t have been more careful, gave me a free Naan bread and communicated very well what I would be able to have.
Had the pleasure of 5 free Bailey shots on the house too which was a nice way to end the evening. Thank you for a lovely evening
