The best restaurants serving Tapas food in West Midlands

Love Miro's great coffee and the best breakfast/brunch menu. Been here a few times now, sometimes service can be a little slow but that's normally because they are so busy with lot's of customers. Food is always excellent with lot's of choice and delicious cake selection.

Couldn't fault this place, welcoming, food excellent and stunning decor.

Disappointing. It was very busy as it was Sunday lunch and our guests were half an hour late ( they had phoned the restaurant) but I didn’t think that warranted the chipped cup, the garlic mayo that was asked not to be there or the sad salad. We won’t be returning.

Despite the huge birthday party taking up the whole of the ground floor, the staff at Gilbies - and particularly our waitress Rachel - looked after the two of us wonderfully well. We were given a table up on the mezzanine floor, our drinks were brought and our order taken nice and quickly, and then the food turned up in really good time. And the food was great! A selection of delicious tapas dishes, the star of the show being the Teriyaki belly pork (we'd eaten here before, so we ordered two portions). The party downstairs was in full swing when we left, wishing the staff good luck for the rest of the evening. Another memorable meal, and we'll definitely book in at Gilbies again, next time we're down Hereford way.
