The best restaurants serving Italian food in West Midlands

Impressed with our first visit to Carisma where five of us shared nachos and a couple of the sharing platters - I also identified some individual tapas for a future visit. Good service and it looked as if there are different eating areas

We went for a friend’s 40th the staff were fantastic made sure we had everything we needed and the food was out of this world will definitely be back

Very good indeed, extremely reasonable, exceptional customer service. Loved the open kitchen, so nice to see! Loved the starter mushrooms, carbonarra was lovely, and steak too. Hubby said creme brullee was really good. So nice to have properly hot plates and properties hot food, thanks, will be back!

Our first time on Saturday 17th, had such a good night. The food was excellent, really well thought out menu and a great experience.

Found this lovely cafe today and we were made very welcome nothing was to much trouble. Sarah was well clued on allergies and my gluten free meal was lovely as the other 3 meals that family had. Talk about going the extra mile Sarah and Scarlet went the extra five miles. What a brilliant team we will visit again 20/10 Phil Val John Wendy

Lovely restaurant with good service. Bit pricey but food is good. Risotto & Lasagne was very good. Only complaint was the portion size of the desert, the smallest thinnest slice of a chocolate fudge cake with one scoop of ice cream on top of it. Sent it back, wasn’t worth the price they were charging.

vistied for a meal for 4. all food served was hot, well prepared and enjoyed, including provision of a pizza box for take home.

The best ice cream I have tasted in UK. Took me 25 and odd years to taste something the real Italian gelato (if not even better). Unfortunately limited choice of flavours for my likening but what we tasted was all amazing. Brits please don't stick to vanilla, chocolate and raspberry. Push your boats. The orange and saffron was delicious. Home made cones is an extra bonus too. Well done. Or should I say: Bravi, mamma mia!

Very tasty Italian lunch with friendly staff and Italian music on the radio. Great coffee. Cannoli da morire! Perfetto!

My friend told me this cafe was good so my son and I visited. Friendly welcome from staff , service was great , coffee lovely . My son was impressed by his panini. Lovely selection of Italian pasta and groceries. Little piece of Italy in Kenilworth. We’ll be back !

Absolutely fantastic. Small and personal. All home cooked. We had a takeaway this time, but im booking a table to take my family. We had a wide range off the menu, so i do feel in position to recommend. Big and fancy no, personal and cosy, yes. More to the point..... the food is ace

Lovely independent coffee shop with good coffee and light food options and friendly staff creating a good atmosphere. I've visited here several times over the last few months and had a good experience every time.
