All the currys have the same base tikka masala tasted like tomato paste and i thought i ate some undercooked chicked but dismissed it until i got home up all night writhing in agony with sickness and diahrea one of the worst nights of my life

Food cold n chewy clearly last nites food cant get hold of anyone 30 quid down the drain disgusting never again! Avoid!

The staff are so welcoming very friendly and helpful, the food is great fantastic value, this is the 3rd time this month I've been, each time I've had something different to eat each time perfectly cooked and served, so a big thank you to all the staff including the kitchen team, well done I will return and recommend it

Had the Full Toast for brunch, which was delicious and well cooked. Although the black pudding wasn't the typical type and had a grainy texture that I suspect may have been quinoa. It was less meaty, crumbly and bready than usual and more grainy and crunchy. Otherwise fab though, great atmosphere and good service 👍

Very disappointed with the food. The burgers were soggy and flavourless. The slaw was simply cabbage doused in soy sauce. The chicken wings were the worst of all, mushy and tasteless - we sent them back!

After praising this take-away to friends we were thoroughly disappointed with the takeaway meal we had on Saturday evening...the meal arrived much later than estimated, was barely luke warm & tasteless...a portion of chips that we hadn't ordered arrived with our meal & were revolting...looks like we're on the hunt for a decent Chinese now 😔

This isn't just a local pavillon. The Special there was even better than when i tried italian pizza in italy! The best pizza in the city.

I wanted to treat the kids to fish and chips after school today and what a disapointment. Had to throw the whole lot away. Waited 10 mins for them to cook the fish (which I thought would be a good sign as fresh) but the batter was soggy and the fish was powdery. Chips old and cold and no salt, as we'd asked for. Just dreadful. What a waste of £23.

Good choice for a large family meal. Sunday roasts were tasty and portions a good size Service was fine and food came out in good time. Roast potatoes not great but all other vegetables and meat was lovely. Particularly enjoyed the mushroom starter All in all would recommend if you’re looking for somewhere that can cope well with a big group

Regular visitor. Can't fault it. Best gastropub for miles around.

Used The Bell for an overnight stay after a day at Cheltenham races. It has turned out to be a little gem and we will definitely use it again. The room was ok but the highlight was the restaurant and pub. Our food was great and the central fireplace lovely.

Shh, don't tell everyone, but we've been going for a few years now and never had a bad meal. Friendly staff, and they're even pet friendly. Still the best meal out locally... In for another family birthday 👍🎂

Much improved since new landlord and landlady. Superb beers with ever changing guests. There's no justice if it doesn't get the Camra pub of the year award for the area.

We meet our friends here on Sunday 7th of July 2024 for a traditional Sunday Lunch. We were not disappointed. The service from the team was fantastic and the food was great. I had a beef roast which can be hit and miss wherever you go, and it was cooked to perfection. Nice dollop of gravy and Puds were lovely. Well presented food.

Four of us, one with a severe garlic allergy, went for dinner. The waiting staff and chef went to great lengths to come up with garlic-free options. All four meals superb. Good ambience, friendly and helpful staff. Great place all round!
