TOAST in Wychavon

This is a lovely breakfast place just outside of Worcester. The food and service are really good and the place seems to be very popular with locals. There is a little shop inside, where you could get crackers, cheese, sauces, etc. The atmosphere is very lively and family friendly.

A large party of us, 20+, went for a 40th birthday brunch in February. The service was quick and the food was excellent. Our service was timely and I was very grateful how accommodating they were of my daughter, who has allergies to egg and dairy. The staff seemed a little under strain but I can't complain about the service at all.

Went for Sunday Lunch after receiving a Gift Voucher. Booked a table but was given the one closest to the door and nearest the host, when locals and friends of the serving staff were made to feel more welcome and seated right in the heart of the restaurant. I mentioned I had a voucher for the ‘deli’ to double check if it was still valid and was answered with a very brusque ‘yes’ by the host. The lady who took our order was rude and interrupted us because she hadn’t finished asking us how we wanted our meat cooked and then seemed put out when I asked what soft drinks they had. The food was lovely but we didn’t fancy staying any longer than our main meal and then when I presented the voucher she said it had expired, even though it said 2026, then looked at me blankly and then said it shouldn’t have been issued for that long? I said I had been given it as a gift 2 days ago and she accepted it as if she was doing me a favour?! Perhaps if we lived locally and had a designer dog we may have been made to feel more welcome.

Absolutely amazing quality food and the staff were awsome very accommodating the cheesecake is absolutely perfect, keep it up guys.

I like the environment inside. I find the bus quite noisy in general. Food is good, however gluten free feels like a bit of an afterthought though. No gluten free sausages, most of the items can be done with GF bread instead but that’s all. Still good for occasional trips but there are better places for gluten free. The main standard foods look great :)

I was really excited about trying this roast! However I was let down by firstly the service and secondly some of the items on the menu including a very unpractical chopping board plate ( I would be asking for a normal plate if there is a next time!) I had a half roast chicken and when I asked to swap the pig in blanket for a Yorkshire this was greeted with an air of inconvenience! Having stated I did not eat beef or pork I was then greeted with what I assume was a pork/ sage and onion patty but this is not specified on the menu and beef gravy! Once again asking to change this came with the same air of inconvenience!! I was offered no condiments and love mint sauce with a roast! I cannot knock the actual food that was served - it was really good! I did however struggle with the overall experience and the customer service really was not that great which is a real shame.

Arrived on time, only to be told there was a delay with the table, finally seated on the bus ... both selected items off the specials menu, only to be informed that our options weren't available, so quickly had to choose alternative options. When we'd finished, the Server came in with the bill, that we'd not asked for, and advised us that the next group of people had arrived ready to be seated (we hadn't been informed that there was a time limit on the table). My friend informed the server that her pancakes were slightly burnt, seemed very disinterested. Have been here previously and had very good experiences, but unfortunately this wasn't one :-(

I consider myself a Roast connoisseur and have the waistline as evidence. Having enjoyed many great Sunday lunches and as a manager in the hospitality industry for all my professional career the TOAST ROAST is certainly up there with the best. It wasn’t just the quality of the food but the presentation and incredible service we received. The butchers board was the perfect size with each items portion adequately represented without being too much, the cheesecake was decadent and flavourful and you can certainly see the attention to detail that has gone into this fabulous establishment! We will be back for Brekkie soon!

Dropped in here early for a pre walk breakfast. I couldn't fault it. Service was great food was excellent and the flat white coffee was to die for. Highly recommended.

Have been to toast many times, both in the old venue & new venue. The food is brilliant, and I love that the menu is different every time. However, as seems to be the story with a lot of reviews, the whole experience is dampened a little bit by some of the staff. Since moving into the bigger premises, there seems to be an issue with general customer service. When changing my booking from 5 people to 6, I was spoken to on the phone quite poorly as if adding another person was a huge hindrance, but decided to go anyway. Once at the venue, there were a few members of staff who seemed not to care, or that came across quite rude and abrupt. Such a shame that this is something propping up in reviews and doesn't seem to be getting addressed. Won't be rushing back.

Breakfast was delicious, both our young children loved it and the restaurant was very dog friendly. Will return in the future

We had previously visited (2023) for a Flyford roast and was incredibly disappointed with the service - we found ourselves left for the whole meal and asked for the bill multiple times before going to the bar to ask to pay. We said then we probably wouldn’t be going back, even though the food was decent / we were local. After hearing about the changes, I booked Toast for brunch for my partner’s birthday (booked weeks in advance, went on 1st Feb) and left a note that it was his birthday on that day. We had heard great things and hoped it would be miles better! Positives are that the food was incredible- this is the main selling point of this place but unfortunately the service is still disappointing. We waited at the front door for quite a while, going back into the bus (where we’d booked) to see if we were doing something wrong our end. Overall, It feels like they don’t have enough time for you with all that they offer / they don’t have enough team on to meet the demands of a breakfast takeaway deal, full restaurant etc. On our end, we did ask to swap from the bus as it was quite cramped and that was accommodated - we were subsequently reseated in the corner of the bar due to it being pretty busy, which was our choice not to sit in the bus so we understood. Drinks and food order took quite a while, no check backs when the food arrived and no cutlery at first - then a 10% service fee was added automatically. We would have ordered more food and drinks, had the option been available to us. We couldn’t catch the eye of any waiter to ask for anything as it was quite rushed. There was a long wait for plates to be cleared, as was the wait for the food to arrive (which was unreal and very fresh so we completely understand). Two breakfasts and two coffees came to about £40, which we expected as the food tasted so fresh. Just a shame that both times we’ve been, the service has felt frosty and a bit hostile. No mention of my partners birthday either, which is understandable if you’re busy but i don’t fully understand why it’s an option when you book, unless that’s automatic? Service was better than the last visit, however.

Only dropped in for a coffee after a muddy walk in the woods opposite. Seems like a buzzing place to grab coffee and bite to eat and catch up with friends and family. Would certainly go back.

Beautiful food however service was poor from one particular member of staff. Very rude and abrupt. I did email to provide feedback however had no response or acknowledgement.

Went in for my dad's 70th birthday. The breakfasts were fantastic and plentiful, coffee nice and strong and it has a lovely atmosphere inside. Definitely recommend.

The accommodation for our meal was very enjoyable, and quirky, in the School Bus! It was certainly warm, cosy and comfortable. The service was efficient and friendly. The food was clearly cooked to order as we waited about 20 minutes for it to arrive, but that wasn't an issue at all. Food quality and presentation was lovely and everything tasted great. We look forward to visiting again soon! Thank you.

So looking forward to eating here! Sadly very disappointed, had a time limit on table which we understood being busy day , unfortunately our breakfasts were late and incorrect , which felt rushed . Staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming, overheard making comments to each other about other families with children. Not a smile or any customer service throughout our morning which was noticed by all our friends. Lovely food , lovely premises , awful service to which we would not recommend.

Lovely food and coffee, gorgeous restaurant and atmosphere. I got the ham hock Benedict and my boyfriend got the full toast and they were both perfect. Young brown haired girl took our payment and was very lovely and sweet to us, the other staff seemed slightly stressed and annoyed but it was very busy and they still had great service just not the friendliest! Overall loved it :)

Pancakes stacks were awful. We informed 2 members of staff who were rude. Won’t be back !!! Overrated, overpriced rubbish

Great food, great atmosphere, friendly staff - very much enjoyed our brunch here. We last visited toast in 2022 so it was great to see its improvements/expansion (although I do feel like it’s lost its small charm and some of the menu feels too upgraded).

Lovely location for a family meet up. Celebrating a birthday, staff are fantastic and the food was great.

We came here for food on Boxing Day with the family, they gave us a more secluded area which was great! The food was amazing! Best full English my husband has ever had and I had one of the specials which was also fantastic. Nice drinks and great atmosphere as well. It’s an hours drive for us so we wish it was closer but we will definitely be visiting again regardless! Highly recommend!

Heard good things about Toast so had to pay a visit. The only availability for breakfast was on the American school bus. Bit of a novelty & enjoyed but would like to try a table in the building next as it looked lovely inside when we arrived. I was worried the bus would be cold in December but it wasn't (except for when the door was opened, understandable) Lots of choice on the menu & we chose the 'full toast' & a pot of tea. The food was so tasty & the portions were just right. Nicely stuffed. Would like to visit again!

Ate on the American style school bus outside was warm and comfortable. Breakfast was superb with amazing sausage and black pudding. Service good. Would definitely recommend and return.

After we were seated the server came straight to us and asked if we would like a drink whilst looking at the menu. A pot of tea soon followed and our food order was taken. We waited for the food to arrive, seeing others order and then their food arrive, we thought must be coming soon. We continued to wait, half an hour past, no sign of our order. After 45 minutes the server came to our table and apologised and told us there had been a mix up and our order had been mislaid, offering us a complimentary drink which we accepted as our tea was now finished and told us the kitchen would do it straight away. Again we waited, another 30 minutes past, other customers arrived and were served, still no food. I then stopped another server and told her of our wait of what was now an hour and 20mins. She returned almost immediately with the food. However, my full breakfast was cold. I told the server I didn’t want to eat it cold and asked for it to be taken away. She asked if I wanted something else which I declined. My wife ate her bubble and squeak which was hot. Due to the issue they gave us the tea and my wife’s food for free. It’s such a shame, we had enjoyed food there before, it had then expanded after gaining popularity, but it lacks customer care. I won’t be going again and will be sure to tell any customers who visit my shop of my experience.

They have expanded into the pub recently,same cosy atmosphere,but now with tables to cope with 6 plus . The school bus is still an option Interesting varied breakfast/ brunch menu . Really tasty . Just a shame they don’t stock gluten free sausages and offer a few more main plate vegetarian choices.

Gorgeous looking & tasting food!!! I had the avocado toast, AND the blackberry & apple French toast, delicious 😋 my partner had the full brekky, really good, mushrooms were underdone for our taste but feel that's prob personal preference!! Would recommend booking, we arrived at 11.30am on a Sunday without a booking, and were lucky to get the last 2 person table!!

Fabulous dog friendly place. Food was absolutely spot on. Service was really friendly. Kids menu had a great range - my fussy 8 year old found food and drink options that he loved.

First visit here and it won’t be our last! No wonder this place is so popular. Had an amazing brunch and the deli at the back is terrific for food & gifts to take home.

Had the Full Toast for brunch, which was delicious and well cooked. Although the black pudding wasn't the typical type and had a grainy texture that I suspect may have been quinoa. It was less meaty, crumbly and bready than usual and more grainy and crunchy. Otherwise fab though, great atmosphere and good service 👍

Ate on the bus. Slow service. Asked for colouring crayons to colour in their menu and never arrived . Asked for water it never arrived. But great food. The child's menu is very limited for breakfast unless your child likes pancakes loaded in Nutella or maple syrup. Bit of a squidge on the bus. The waiter didn't want to step aside to let me on so had to stand waiting for ages until I decided to interrupt him and ask him to step into the other empty booth to the side.

The food was stunning. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was off the scale.

We’ve been wanting to come to TOAST for a while now & thought as we were driving past we’d take a chance to see if there was a table available. The staff were super helpful, welcoming & polite & managed to find the 3 of us & the dog a table even though it was busy. It was explained that there maybe a wait for us to be able to order food but it wasn’t long at all. The food came & it was delicious 😋 and Willow loved her pup’a’chino & sausage too! Lovely welcoming staff & atmosphere, we will definitely be back. Thank you ☺️

Very average, the bacon was over cooked and very stiff, black pudding was again overcooked and really dry. The toast and butter was lovely along with the poached egg. Customer service was awful though nobody seems to care at all

Wow, what can I say?! This was our first visit to Toast after recommendations from friends and it was incredible! We've had a few breakfasts in our time and this was one of the best. The food was exceptionally good and the service was second to none. We were served by a lovely waitress who was really passionate about the business. It's a beautiful place, with quirky vibes, especially the American bus and it's super dog friendly. We cannot wait to come back! **EDIT** After visiting today, my husband and I were bitterly disappointed. The new, updated venue is lovely, but it has lost its charm. Our server wasn't very personable. Having ordered, she later came back to the table to ask what we had ordered and after telling her, she rolled her head back and walked off. We had no idea what had happened and with no explanation. It turns out there had been a mix up of orders, or something like that. The food was good when it arrived, but we felt let down by the service, so we didn't enjoy it as much as we should have. It's a shame as we were really looking forward to revisiting Toast. We won't be rushing back, if we come back at all. There seems to be a running theme regarding the service, by those who have rated it low. Therefore this clearly needs to be addressed to keep the regular customers.

Haven't been to toast in a couple of years and absolutely used to love it, presentation of the food was good, but the food was cold and the toast was burned! We were sat in the bus so there wasn't really anyone around to tell, it was a shame really as we have been looking forward to coming back, hoping we just had an off day, but we felt it was quite overpriced for what it was which is a shame as last visit it was amazing

I went to Toast with my wife and 1 year old for brunch. The menu is diverse and exciting. I had the crab croissant which was delicious and not something you come across on usual brunch menus. My wife had the steak crumpet which was also incredible. The food feels appropriately priced and is nicely presented. The drinks were ok - I’d have preferred to have my coffee in a mug or something with a handle rather than a glass! The service I give four stars - the waitress we had was pleasant but perhaps could have been a little warmer. My main criticism is that the dining experience in the bus was terrible. Admittedly I chose to eat there - well we booked late on a Sunday so it was the only option. Anyway, I would avoid eating on the bus. The door was wide open so it was cold, there was no music or atmosphere and it was eerily quiet - nobody wanted to speak too loud. Compared to the warmth and ambience of inside, it very much felt like the runners up option. Plus they couldn’t fit a high chair in so baby had to sit on our lap. Others may enjoy the quirkiness of it but personally if we can’t get a table inside I won’t opt for the bus again.

Finally made it to toast after wanting to visit for a while. Service was great and although we turned up early they were still able to accommodate us on the school bus parked outside! Kids were given some colouring, and this kept them busy. Food was amazing, huge choice of brunch dishes plus specials. I had the veggie breakfast and managed to tick all 5 a day off my list in one plate! Garlic mushrooms were amazing! Portions were massive and everyone struggled to eat everything so we took the kids food home.

Went in as we were passing by, I understand we didn’t book but we were seated in the corner and totally ignored for 40 minutes. We weren’t offered a drink or anything. I will say they food that come by looked really nice but not one of the staff smiled once, the reception was really cold and when I asked if we ordered at the bar it felt like I’d done something wrong. This is the second time we’ve given this place a chance and I can promise there won’t be a third…

Great place to meet up with friends and ex colleagues. The ultimate bagel was absolutely delicious.

We waited so long to be served by very miserable waiting staff that we were literally moved from our table just as we put our knives and forks down because our time limit was up! There were no queues waiting so not sure what the urgency was. Maybe if there's a time limit, orders are taken quicker and served quicker. Really disappointing and expensive return visit. Especially as we took a friend who had never been and we had told her how great it was. Nevermind, I'm sure one negative review won't upset them too much. Just sad our experience wasn't what we'd expected.

A huge thank you to Morgan and the team, especially Nikki and Jimmy for making my 70th birthday celebrations a great success. Everyone had a great time and commented how nice the Fish & Chips were. We sat in the garden and in the evening were entertained by the lady singing. It is a great venue for a relaxing and fun day and I highly recommend it. There is plenty of parking and seating in a lovely environment.

Good pub , quirky and great staff , will return.

We have visited The Flyford in past years a serious number of times and had some lovely family meals here with a varied and very good menu every time. We have only eaten breakfast there once before when Toast cafe was in its infancy and a little wooden hut on the side of the main building. We have heard much about the “new” brand and thought we would try it. I’m afraid to say we were disappointed. We arrived and were greeted by a flustered guy who snapped “have you booked?” We said no but did he have a table for two. He looked over and said “well you can’t sit outside but if you find a seat the food will be around a 45 minute wait because we have a large table in” We ordered coffee from the bar and sat down in the bar area and waited whilst browsing the menu. Flustered guy came over after 10 minutes and said “have you decided because if your quick enough I can get your food out” Alright mate first you say there’s a wait and now you’re asking us to hurry up! Food arrived not great, my poached egg was undercooked on my eggs Benedict and sauce was bland and meh. Staff were manic and disinterested I ordered another coffee but it failed to arrive after 10 minutes, and had to ask two different staff members where it was. By this time I just wanted to go and hey presto it arrived. We didn’t want to wait any longer so went to the bar to pay our bill. I waited while the bartender served other people and disappeared a few times before acknowledging I was there which I found so rude. There was clearly some confusion between her and flustered guy because they couldn’t decide where my bill was, when she presented me with it she was already tapping the amount out on the card machine. Good job I checked it because there were items on it that we didn’t have totalling £9. After some more frantic tapping on the screen another bill was presented which still wasn’t correct so I asked for an explanation only for flustered guy to blurt out it was listed as something else but was correct. No service charge included with I was thankful for because we did not receive any service let alone good. It was chaotic and disorganised, the staff are not happy and clearly frustrated. My opinion is the place has lost its way and it feels like a pretentious overpriced cafe. It’s a shame but we won’t return after being loyal customers in the past, as the all day breakfast/brunch thing just isn’t working.

Visited today and wow, The food is extremely well priced and the quality and freshness was on par with restaurants that far exceed this price range. 10/10 would highly recommend. Quality and service was impeccable coupled with amazing settings and atmosphere.

So lucky to get a table here for breakfast. Beautiful venue and the food was incredible. We were looked after by Kieran and Phoebe who made sure we had everything that we needed. We booked back in for Sunday. Thank you.

Went for a friends birthday. Had duck wraps and a toast breakfast - delicious and provided great alternatives for my dietary requirements.

Stopped in on Saturday lunch time for a bite to eat Absolutely lovely Hubbie & I shared a Toast breakfast, Son had Mexican Eggs and Daughter in law had steak & eggs All delicious Will definitely be back and have recommended to all our Worcester family!

Meh. Good was good, mostly diner style breakfast or brunch items that are quite over priced (but tasty). The service is pretty awful and I hate when restaurants add the service charge to the bill. Makes it very hard to remove it without any bad vibes. If the service was good (which it isn’t) then I’ll happily tip. Should be earned not a given. It also used to have amazing pub food but that’s gone in favour of the new brunch idea. There’s a school bus which is a bit of a gimmick and the outside section is quite nice. Meh bad service is bad service.

Toast has a lovely atmosphere however when it comes to the food (specifically vegetarian) this is where it's lacking. My partner asked for items to be switched out due to dietary requirements (no vegan option on the actual menu) the items that we asked to have instead were not correct. I ordered a full vegetarian breakfast however items were also missing off of my plate also. Items were cold when they got to us (tater tots, mushrooms, beans). On the plus side the coffee was DELICIOUS albeit the charge for dairy alternative milks is quite expensive seeing as you only use a small amount. (The extra charge is also not advertised on the menu so you'll only find out when the bill comes). I cannot speak for meat eaters as I'm sure it would be a better experience and value for money. If they offer meat free alternatives such as sausages, tofu then we feel it would have been better value for money. But £40 for 2 vegetarian breakfasts and coffee when the breakfasts were basic (mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, spinach, avocado, tater tots and toast) doesn't seem great value to us. It's a shame because this place has a lot of potential but unfortunately myself and my partner will not be returning or recommending to our veggie/vegan friends.

Called in here after watching the balloon launch at Midlands Air Festival. We were welcomed in by a friendly staff member. Breakfast was amazing, great care and effort had gone into making it, very tasty and it was a big plate full 🌝

Travelling to Stratford for the weekend we came across this amazing restaurant. Granted we were there for brunch, with a name like Toast we thought that perfect, but don't be put off by that. As a serious coffee drinker I was in heaven. The food was amazing and the staff well up to the task. Thanks to everyone for the great start to our break.

Loved this place! The service was a tad slow but the food was worth waiting for. We turned up without a reservation so sat in the bar area - which was still really nice. No maple syrup for the pancakes though!

I generally love the food here, although I'm disappointed that they killed the ultimate bap by putting jalapenos on it! The atmosphere is nice and the customer service is typically good (although the member of staff must have been having a bad day on my last visit. The parking is plentiful, the toilets are clean but eccentric. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Seated near the door, much better, quieter, the main large area was very noisy. My wife had the Steak and Egg ( not Eggs as on the menu ) which was very good. I went for normal breakfast menu, definitely not worth £14, just an average breakfast as other places. Would try again but go for steak next time.

We visited for lunch. There was ample parking and the option to eat on the bus... very quirky! Menu was varied and catered for GF - food was delicious. It was let down by the fact that we weren't given napkins or salt and the cutlery is loose in a box/tin on the table. The tin also holds sauces, sugar etc so the cutlery was dusty/grubby. I didn't like the idea that it could have been handled by previous visitors too....just not hygienic. I did voice my opinion about this and it wasn't well received. I think feedback in person is better than posting online so I tried to go that route. Hey ho.

We love Toast as a family, food is always fantastic, for me the best breakfast in Worcestershire! The staff are always so attentive. We loved the news that there was an evening menu and really enjoyed our first trip, unfortunately this has ceased, but hopefully it will come back in the future. Keep up the great work guys!

Lovely find! We popped in to break a journey. Both very happy with the quality of our meals, rustic smoky roasted tomato soup with excellent bread, and loaded crumpets with delicious mushrooms . Unexpectedly generous portions! Excellent friendly service and superb espresso. Decor is warm and interesting, the breakfast -based menu might limit lots of return trips, but a great place and I wish them success

We've been regular diners at Toast over the years and always enjoyed our visits but today was our first time in the new set up and I have to say we feel a bit disappointed. Our booking was for 11.30am and we had to wait 5 minutes for our table which was fine but we didn't expect to be told at 12.30 that we needed to leave the table as the next diners were waiting! We knew the allocated time is an hour and fifteen minutes but we were actually sat down for about 55 minutes!! It took a long time for our drinks to arrive too but the food came quickly but not as quickly as the bill and the card machine! Hopefully this was just a one off blip but it will make us think twice before booking again.

We had a totally underwhelming experience here yesterday. I had booked for 1.15pm but got lost (due to back directions from a friend) and arrived 10 mins later than the rest of the party. When I arrived I had about 2 mins to look at the menu as the waitress was rushing us to order, so chose the Chorizo and Halloumi Benedict. There was a long wait for the food and all I can say was that it was OK. Nothing special. There was hardly any Benedict sauce, too much watercress, quite a miserly portion size. Then we were rushed off the table as someone else had booked the table. A 1.15 hour timeslot for lunch was is not enough, especially with the long wait for food. Underwhelmed. Sad as it was my birthday lunch and it had been highly recommended. We won't be coming back 😕

Amazing brunch - had been once before when TOAST was quite new and small, the upgrade is fabulous! Food was delicious. Great space and atmosphere.

Toast will always be a favourite of mine and now they have extended indoors, it is even better. Highly recommend for breakfast/ brunch. Menu is perfection

Four of us went for a brunch here. First time we had been as it came recommended. We all had the full English breakfast which was beautifully cooked and served hot. We did have to wait 45 minutes for our food which wasn't a major issue as we were in no major rush. The downside was that when I had literally put my knife and fork down from my final mouthful of food, we were being told that the table was needed and needed to vacate. Not the best experience when you don't get a few minutes to let your meal go down. We would visit again but wouldn't be so patient in waiting for food next time. I would prefer to have the time to sit after I've eaten. If a table is on a time limit (which I now know this venue operate), service needs to be speedy.
