Stirrups in Wychavon

We have been a few times in the past. Previous visits would have been 5/5 star, but the last visit was utter disappointment. The beef burgers are an utter joke. I am not even sure that they should be called a burger. The patty was so thin that I think there was more lettuce than beef. The description should have been "salad with a slither of beef". Patties the thickness of a 1 penny coin. That isn't even a joke... Probably our last visit.

This place is fabulous. We visited here for our anniversary and they went above and beyond. The food and service was incredible and the cocktails are unreal. The atmosphere is amazing with a unique style. 100% would recommend.

We have only been once and never again due to an awful greedy experience. We ordered a cocktail and a guiness from the menu and it was really good. We reordered the same round and couple of sips into the cocktail it tasted different. Asked if this was the same as definitely did not taste the same (look similar). The young waiter took the drink away and said they will provide the same as before. After 3 mins she returned with the same cocktail that we had few sips of and said the manager will not exchange. We were embarrassed and rushed our food just to get away. When paid I was asked about my experience and I shared what had happened. She took my money and did not respond. Since then I have not returned and shared this experience with my friends. On the day there were senior staff in the restaurant who could have acted accordingly and chose not to.

Not great for vegans! The vegan burgers we received were very basic and highly overpriced. Absolutely zero wow factor. On looking at previous reviews and pictures it looks like they only give meat eaters a burger worthy of the very high price! Having to buy chips separately is a joke. Definitely wouldn't return. There was no atmosphere at all, it's basically a pub that serves basic food and when we went they were pretty empty. The waitress was pleasant and the best bit of the whole experience. I think these guys need to work on there vegan menu/presentation it's 2024 now c'mon!!!!

Burgers lacked flavour and patties were dry , pork belly bites were very fatty and one was complete fat , chips were nice but for the price the portion is shameful. Thought we would try as we haven't had in a while, should of gone to Mcdonalds

Excellent service, polite friendly staff, very accommodating, selection of 3 menus ..breakfast, sandwiches, main meals, great choice of food for vegan and vegetarian too, clearly labelled, good selection of drinks,snacks, highly recommended the meeting sharing platters, vegetarian platters, fries have lots of different topping or just plain, salads..tapas sections.. Fabulous food at affordable prices, Lovely atmosphere and ambience Views across the square or street view.. Clean facilities child friendly and wheelchair accessible.. Highly recommended a visit

Another lovely meal at Stirrups, we started with lovely cocktails, followed by really yummy burgers with fries and street slaw + a portion of belly bites which are delicious. The restaurant was busy and had a good atmosphere, friendly staff and not overly expensive. Would definitely recommend you try it.

Went here for the first time last week with 3 female friends for an afternoon drink. I had a couple of ciders, my friends tried a cocktail each. The decor of the place is really good & there's a good atmosphere in there. While drinking, we took a look at the menu & it looked really good so we decided to return that evening for some grub. I had one of the nicest burgers I've eaten in a long time, it was excellent. My friends shared a number of the starters for a wide variety of things, plus we ordered the unlimited chicken wings for £20 - got our money's worth as had 4 portions of them! (Very tasty). All our drinks & different foods ordered came to £80. That included the £20 for the unlimited chicken wings that I mentioned. Every single type of food we had was excellent, with all of us commenting on how good the quality was & how good a chef the restaurant has working in the kitchen. All the other staff working behind the bar & waiting staff seemed to be extremely friendly & helpful during both our visits that day. We've all already said that it'll become a regular thing going here when we fancy eating out. Thanks to all the staff, keep up the good work, we'll see you again soon. Highly recommend this place to others.

Amazing food, the best burgers and fries in Evesham, great service, amazing hospitality, great coffee

This restaurant is incredible. I loved the sticky bbq sauce drizzled onto the food. Staff were lovely and great service. I recommend the cocktails also and my partner had a mocktail which was equally impressive. I will certainly be back soon.

We had the bestttt time here!! Went with my partner on a Tuesday evening as we had time off work, it obviously was quieter but had a lovely atmosphere! The food was AMAZING! The pork belly bites were just 🤤🤤 The cocktails were lovely too! The staff were all so friendly and attentive. There was one particular member of staff that served us- a young girl with dark hair and piercings and she was SO SO lovely! Such a fab little find on our trip away- we live 2 hours away and are already thinking of how we can tie it in with our next trip 🤪

Amazing burgers, great service and decent price, good atmosphere from the music

I have eaten here numerous times and the burgers are delicious. Our recent visit for cocktails left us disappointed, margaritas that tasted of sugary pre mix and when we asked why there was No salt on on the glasses the bar tender just shrugged his shoulders and laughed. One round Of whiskey sours were OK the next awful. At £10-12 a drink I would expect drinks to be made properly.

Burger is as good as a 5 Guys burger. I got the PJ. We got some normal and Cajun Fries and “tedies”. Small for a main but tasted alright. Ranch isn’t like ranch in the USA.

What a treat for someone who was about to run to greggs for a quick bite! First time visiting, staff are very friendly, the vibe is brilliant and the food was delicious! Will definitely be back if I'm ever in Evesham again

Me and my family had a meal here in the early evening and it was lovely. Staff were attentive and friendly. There's a nice relaxed cosy atmosphere. There's a nice range on the menu, and the food is great. (I especially like the crispy belly bites). I eat out a lot with my kid, but those times at StirrUps feel special.

Best place to go in Evesham for drinks, cocktails and atmosphere. Nice food and staff (barmaids are lovely) and to add, they have created their own cocktail called the Cloverclub which, as a cocktail connoisseur, it's really, really nice, better than some I've had in expensive London places.

Oh my word... what a find! Just popped in while exploring Evesham, not knowing what to expect. I had one of the best calamari salads ever... incredible dressings and flavours. All our food was exceptionally nice, well presented and delicious. Served with a smile and in a very convivial setting. We will return!

Good value for money the beef burger was a cut above others that I have eaten.Wine better than most a large Red Merlot £6.50 very good.Service very good surprised that there were not more customers we will return

Great veganuary menu staff were also very friendly and attentive. As we visited on a Saturday night there was also live music so a great atmosphere too!

Very disappointed! !!!! Went in the afternoon hoping to have a nice lunch and the bloody chicken burger was RAW!! What the cluck!??? The staff was completely oblivious and not even apologetic. Put me off completely!! I don’t like to make a fuss but come on!!!

Only had a coffee but it was nice and hot. The lady serving was very helpful.

We have mixed reviews from our group, I found the portion size to be fine but a couple of others thought they were small. The gluten free vegetarian options are limited to one or two items so very restricted. For meat eaters there are lots of options to choose from. My vege meal was tasty and cooked well. We ventured to the bar afterwards and had a good selection of cocktails to choose from, nowhere near as good as TGI's ( my all time favourite bar) but there's something for everyone. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Live music was good, loud as you'd expect and the atmosphere was good and people were nice too. I think it's on the expensive side for burgers but the atmosphere and music compensated for the price.

I went there for a family meal and had a lovely experience, fantastic staff, very friendly, we went for the 2 burgers specials and a few sides, all top quality, will definitely be returning, I comment the jester mango ipa on tap..... Yuuum

StirrUps truly impressed with their Christmas burger – a flavorful blend of two 3oz patties, tender sliced beef in rich gravy, and a festive pig in a blanket on top. The pork belly bites, coated in sticky barbecue sauce, were a perfect mix of sweet and savoury, while the cauliflower bites added a refreshing touch. Cheesy chips were a savoury delight that rounded out the meal. For dessert, the Lotus Biscoff pancakes were a sweet conclusion, making my dining experience at StirrUps a delightful and satisfying one.

I had the Cluck Me Burger which is a breaded buttermilk chicken served with garlic mayo, crispy bacon, and duo cheese served with fries and slaw. The burger was so so good, could not fault it. The chicken burger was cooked to perfection, throughly enjoyed. I had a side of Crispy Belly Bites, which are pork belly bites which are slowly roasted in ginger and deeply fried in a crispy coating and tossed in the house glaze. We tried some cocktails as well, I had the Stirr Up Spritz but replaced the soda for lemonade🫶🏻 Rose had the Mexican Daisy which was Tequila, Triple Sec and Lime. Staff were so lovely and attentive which is always a bonus. The decor of the restaurant was charming and cute.

We had a fabulous lunch here this weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our mocktails topped with candy floss and the burgers were delicious. We also highly recommend the crispy belly bite side - order two portions as you won’t regret it!

I was kindly invited to try out StirrUps in Evesham. StirrUps's whole menu is perfectly labelled with whether the dish is gluten-free and/or dairy-free, which made selecting things from the menu so easy and accessible!! It’s always so important for people who follow these diets to have hassle and stress-free experiences when dining out! So StirrUps was winning straight away!! We tried the pineapple and apple Cinderella mocktail which came with a massive bit of candy floss on the side!! My favourite 🤩 and then the Stirrups Elderflower Collins which was a gin cocktail with elderflower, mint, lemon and apple juice. The whole cocktail menu had so many to choose from, and you could even ask to have your own curated! For our main meal, I had the Bluebrie Burger with a gluten-free bun, which included crispy bacon slices, Brie cheese and blueberry ketchup 🫐🫐 I chose for my side to get the Little Pig, Little Pig fries which were topped with cider roasted BBQ pulled pork. Both of these were so delicious and things I’ve never had before! Have you ever heard of blueberry ketchup?! All of the burgers could be made gluten-free with the addition of a gluten-free bun or being made bunless. All bar one of the fries options were gluten-free too!! All in all I really enjoyed my experience and meal at StirrUps! The restaurant was bustling, but this didn’t affect the service which was really attentive throughout our visit. If you’re around Evesham or nearby, I’d really recommend a visit to StirrUps, especially if you’re looking for good quality gluten-free food 😊

A beautiful setting, I absolutely loved the Chicken burger it was cripsy and loved the ranch. And the sides there was so much choice I don’t think I could have faulted a thing!

We visited them for lunch to try their delicious food, if you’ve seen their burgers on here then you just know! 😍 the weather today was for ducks so even better to be tucked away somewhere cosy & enjoy a child free meal (if you wanna take your littles, they are more than welcome & have a brill kids menu too)❤️ If you do one thing this week - get yourself booked in ASAP… fab staff, the restaurant is beautiful, food was delicious & the cocktails are pretty good too! The burgers are literally as big as your head & they have an amazing choice & if burgers aren’t your thing they also do fab salads, sarnies, steaks & loaded fries 👌🏻 I had: 🍔 Piggy in the middle - 2 patties, street slaw, duo cheese slice, spiced apple ketchup & topped with slow roasted BBQ pork. 🍹Bonbon - vodka, chambord, pineapple & candyfloss Steve had: 🍔 Nacho Average Burger - served with refried beans, nacho cheese sauce, tortilla chips & he added smashed avocado. 🍹Manaus Caipirinia - Cachaça, Brazilian honey & lime. We also shared some sides which were.. CRISPY BELLY BITES (these were immense!) Pork belly bites slow roasted with ginger, then deep fried in a crispy coating and tossed in house glaze 🙌🏻 & CALAMARI which was Lemon seasoned deep fried calamari served with lemon mayonnaise 🤤 DELISH!!! 10/10! Perfect for a date night/day or a catch up with friends.. didn’t try pudding because how anyone has room for pudding is beyond me… 🙌🏻👌🏻❤️

Soooo the food is great but we haven't ordered a takeout from here in a good few months....never had any complaints and been very happy but to our disappointment this time not only has the menu been limited but so have the portions! Not sure its worth the money now. Its a shame.

Vegans come here! Great options for vegans and the food was amazing! Special mention to the Battered Cauliflower 😍 can highly recommend as the food is top quality, the atmosphere is fun but relaxing all at the same time and would also recommend their cocktails and mocktails as an added treat to a great meal 🥰

Definitely recommend - the burgers were packed full and the sides were a really decent size - the pork belly bites were the best I’ve had, not fatty at all, and so much flavour! I always love bacon fries but adding the jam made them even better! The staff were really friendly and the place had a lovely atmosphere - they have a large cocktail / mocktail menu, so it’s perfect for both food and drinks!

Drinks are expensive and food is average. Expensive portion of chips. The burgers at Honest Burger are miles better and it’s a shame we don’t have one in town.

Popped in yesterday on the off chance. I went for the burger and the wife went for a salt steak sandwich. Very juicy and delicious burger. Plenty of flavour and it was exactly what i was expecting from the menu description Steak sandwich was great! And the salad was out of this world. Credit to the chef! I opted for the house beer called paradal. Wow! First time trying this and it was ice cold, full body and very thirst quenching. impressive beer! Great service and staff. Very clean and welcoming, highly recommended establishment will deffinatley go again!

Oh my days!!! Not had Stirrups since lockdown-when they delivered to Tewkesbury. The best burgers around, wings too! My wife loved the Mac n cheese as well. So, so, so good. Great service. Cool vibe. Amazing place!

We visited for Sunday brunch and can highly recommend Stirr Ups. Friendly staff, delicious food and a place where dogs are welcome is a great combination. We were welcomed and seated in a cosy booth. A carafe of water for us and water for our dog was very welcome while we looked through the menu. The big breakfast is certainly big, but it's also locally sourced and tasty. The presentation was lovely too. From the specials menu, the French toast, topped with fresh fruit and syrup was mouthwatering and I was glad to hear is heading for the main menu. The coffee was smooth and well rounded. For a relaxed Sunday morning brunch, Stirr Ups has everything you need. Friendly, professional staff, chilled background music and outstanding food. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great tasting food - I had the mango and chilli chicken burger which was delicious. I also had the bacon fries which were full of flavour and so tasty! The pork belly bites were amazing - some of the best ones I have ever tried! Wide variety of food and drink options to choose from. Staff were so friendly, welcoming and could not be more helpful (I asked how spicy the chicken burger was due to the sauce and they brought a little taster of the sauce for me to try before commiting to my food choice!). Nice comfortable atmosphere inside. Toilet facilities were clean. Car parking nearby (free after 6pm). I would highly recommend coming here for a meal!

We visited last Saturday. A chic, modern dining & bar experience in the heart of Evesham, a place perfect for food, a drink or both whilst listening to live music. Warm & welcoming staff too! The food was honestly, hand on heart, faultless. Between us, we ordered: 🍔Mango No.5 - crispy chicken burger, homemade mango & chilli chutney, spicy pulled chicken thigh, chorizo and a duo of cheese. 🍟 Bacon baby fries - crispy potato fries topped with sweet bacon bits and baconnaise. 🍖StirrUps FAMOUS Crispy belly bites - crispy & tender pork in the house glaze (these were THE BEST!) 🍔 Snack Daniels Burger - beef patty, Stilton mayonnaise, salt beef, onion chutney, bourbon braised pulled brisket and a duo of cheeses. 🍟 Little pig, Little pig fries - topped with cider braised pulled pork and Tubby Toms Maple BBQ! 🍗 Chicken Wings - crispy coated and tossed in Tubby Toms Maple BBQ. 🍔Piggy in the Middle - a beef patty, toffee apple sauce, Tubby Toms Maple BBQ soaked cider braised pulled pork and duo of cheese. 🍔Cluck Me - buttermilk chicken topped with crispy bacon, garlic Mayo and a duo of cheeses. 🍟Plain Jane Fries 🧀 Halloumi Fries -rubbed in Tubby Toms Espresso & Smoked Chipotle dust with sweet chilli for dunking. Everyone on our table was raving about the food. The portions were plentiful and we certainly indulged😋 The burgers weren’t greasy or dripping/sliding out of the bun whilst eating either! The fries stayed crispy throughout our meal and didn’t give in to the juiciness of their toppings. The sides were unreal and could either make a wonderful side (probably one to share next time) or a starter/warm up before the main event, however you like to eat. Unsure if there was a pudding menu but we definitely had no room left 😅

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Stirr ups and the service was exceptional. The vegan burgers we ordered were hands down the best we have ever had. Both patties were home made (to my surprise!) and perfectly seasoned, and the toppings were fresh and flavourful. You nailed it. We tried a few sides but the one we LOVED the most were the battered cauliflower, absolutely insane. Cocktails were reasonably priced, they looked ‘fancy’ (one even came topped with candy floss) and tasted amazing. Overall, I can't recommend Stirr Ups enough. From the food to the drinks to the service, everything was top-notch. We well definitely be returning soon!

Just had the MOST FANTASTIC lunch at Stirr Ups! The food and service were both amazing! The pork belly bites were to die for and the ribs with the Cherry Coke sauce - what can I say! We were there for a Mothers Day treat and I must say it really was a treat!!

Really disappointed. A lot of people have recommended this place and we were very excited to try it. Waited well over an hour on a quiet Wednesday night for two very expensive meals. The food was delicious but definitely not worth the inconvenience or cost sadly. Only good thing was the waitress was super apologetic. Such a shame

Absolutely amazing service and recommendations by a young lady, great cocktail mixtures well worth what they charge and more ! But overall the comforting and friendly service topped it off for us. By far my favourite place to buy cocktails and other drinks😍😍

Nice cheap venue for a burget and a pint

StirrUps offer fantastic fresh cooked food in a lovely and welcoming atmosphere. After going for a meal for a works Christmas outing, we left with a really positive experience. Shane and his team couldn't be anymore helpful and welcoming. You wont be disappointed!

What a lovely evening we had!! Met a friend for food & catch up on a Thurs in Feb. It was quiet but still had a nice vibe. We were mostly served by Kalina, who was absolutely wonderful. Gave good advice & service with a smile. I had the Superfood side salad with a Breaded Chicken Fillet & Roasted Flat Mushroom & a sprinkle of parmesan cheese. I cannot express how flavourful it was and I loved the different textures in it. My friend had the Cluck Me Burger with a child's portion of fries, which was plentiful. She said she enjoyed it very much. Totally going back there asap, so definitely recommend.

5star review for StirUps. Could not fault service, food and atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble. Very polite, knowledgeable and attentive staff. Will definitely be returning again soon.

A great experience. Returned last night compliments of manager following a disappointing meal during the pre Christmas period. Even then the service was excellent with attentive staff who couldn’t have been more helpful. Our complaint was that our food was Luke warm…twice. The manager came and spoke to us, gave us everything we had eaten/ drunk for free and then invited us back, again, with no charge. We we’re not disappointed. The manager came and spoke to us again and reiterated that whatever we chose would be ‘on him’. He even pointed us in the direction of the cocktail menu! We had a main course- hot and tasted amazing, a cocktail each and a hot drink. I would absolutely recommend, service was fantastic, food and atmosphere were as good. This was not just because we had previously complained either, the place was busy and the staff were as attentive to everyone we could see. As promised we weren’t charged a penny, we were so impressed we left tips. We won’t hesitate to return and happily pay this time!!

I asked for the plain burger. They didn’t give me the cheese or ketchup I asked for and instead had a horrible unknown sauce. I had to add my own cheese and ketchup and take everything out the burger that they didn’t warn would be in there. For £10 a burger I expected to eat what I ordered

had a meal here and i have to say that the Staff are great and i think the server we had was Olivia, she made the evening, what a star she is. good food, good atmosphere once moved upstairs, enjoyed the live music after we had eaten.

Moved to the area just over a month ago. Went for dinner with friends on Saturday night; food was amazing, stayed for several cocktails, which were all done really well too! There was live music, and the lad singing was very talented! We enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service so much that as it had snowed when we woke up on Sunday we decided to order take out! The portion sizes were epic, the food was delivered in good time and was once again excellent! Will definitely be coming back!

My first visit to Stirrups and Wow! What a lovely place with a wonderful atmosphere and beautifully decorated for Christmas. The food was amazing - you must try the belly pork starter! Burgers were huge. I'm definitely going to make a point of visiting again very soon. Could not fault anything - a perfect five stars!
