Friendly welcome when we arrived. Couple of beers on tap were not available but that was fine as there were plenty of other choices. Very quirky decor and layout to the pub. We sat in the booths just off the bar which is in a part of the pub which leads to the outside. The heaters made it perfectly comfortable to sit there on a cold day and we had the choice of sitting wherever we wanted there or in the bar because we had a dog. It is very dog friendly, dog bowls for water available as well which was pointed out to us before us asking. We were a party of 4 and all tried the pie menu. The pies were nice and very well priced. Plenty of vegetables and the chips were lovely. Can't complain at all but it certainly is an interesting visit with the layout! Service was friendly and relaxed. Would definitely return.

I went here with my wife and our friend, who had visited before. We were greeted by a friendly chef who served us our drinks. I had a gardeners inn pale ale which was good. We then went through to a booth in the back bit. The menu is extensive, pizza, curry, roast dinners, burgers, jacket potatoes, pies and lots of other things. I had a bacon cheese burger and my wife had a Greek pizza, as did our friend. We followed up with homemade bread and butter pudding. All of the food was great and the bill for the three of us was just under £70, which seemed very reasonable. We were looked after by the landlady, who was a real character and had us laughing the whole time we were in there and gave us some great sightseeing advice for our visit to Droitwich. The pub itself could be described as quirky, quite small when you enter, but it opens up out the back with booths and nooks. I would definitely go back, I really fancied trying a pie but spent the previous day eating nothing but pastry products.

This is a cracking little pub and will certainly visit again when in droidwich. The food is excellent and the landlady has a great sense of humour

I am a very regular customer of The Gardeners Arms and have never been disappointed with any of my meals. They have always been wonderful to deal with and the delivery driver is an exceptionally well mannered and very well dressed chap.

We were delighted to find this little place just up the road from our holiday rental, ordered the roast chicken dinner which would have fed a whole household! And the boys got the pies that came recommended and are still talking about them! Had a lovely chat with the lady that was running the shop and she was so engaging with our toddler which made us feel so welcome. Really can’t recommend this place enough if you’re in the area. Not to mention just how cheap it was!!

Greeted by the most inhospitable, aggressive old bat. Only wanted some take out. Stood at the off sales counter for ages, no service. Popped inside, promptly left and will never go back. Get some customer service training.

We were visiting the area and stopped here for lunch. Super cool pub with amazing food! Their Pies were recommended so we had the Droitwich Pie which was fresh out of the oven and served with a side of extra gravy (yum!) and tons of crisps (fries) and fresh veggies. The owner came to chat with us and told us all the lovely information about the towns historical past. Wonderful afternoon!!

Sadly, we probably wouldn’t order from here again. We used to order loads but it appears to have gone down hill. Meals advertised to come with chips, personally we may as well have ordered a jacket potato. The “fries” or should I say wedges were massive and really not as described as fries. We paid an extra £3 for a salad which came as a box of cabbage and a few peppers and onions. No sign of lettuce? I am sorry, really disappointed and then to top it all off, the lasagne was cold throughout.

Nice friendly service and good honest food all at reasonable prices, will definitely be back.

Chose as close to town centre. FOR LOCALS only. Dogs allowed in bar fine but bar not comparable to restaurant. Slow and grudging service, incorrect charging. Meals were palatable when arrived but child in party type 1 diabetic because of wait had to be given glucose. Enough said!

Wow! What a hidden gem. The pub is so quirky, has so much character and the food was just incredible 😍 defo my new fave food spot in Droitwich! Very reasonable prices too. Cant wait to return and can't recommend enough!

Bloody brilliant. A cracker of a find. We were just traveling through and asked Google for a pub with great food and a beer garden. Loved the higgly piggledy garden with all the little nooks and crannies. Staff were amazing and so was the food

Called ahead to check pub was serving food anbd that it wasn’t to busy As we were bringing our well behaved puppy along, I was assured that this was ok by Simon the manager. Upon arrival we sat down and started looking at the menu when I went to pick up my puppy and to place her on my lap (she’s young and needed reassurance) Simon shouted loudly from behind the bar to get her off my lap! Our puppy was startled and distressed as was myself and the rest of the family, We then all left the pub and will not be returning.

Absolutely perfect! We had a wonderful Sunday evening dinner. I particularly recommend the braised beef, incredible. Thank you Edith! We can't wait to return.

We use this restaurant weekly. It has gone a bit downhill now. Last week I received the wrong food and this week received the wrong drink + 1 of my burger patties weren’t edible. Half of my meal has gone in the bin. Gave another chance as my Nan loves their roast dinners (they are brilliant) but won’t be coming back for myself personally. Paying £20+ for half to go in the bin.

First time we have been to the Gardener's Arms. The atmosphere was amazing so were the staff. The food was excellent. I would highly recomend going we had the Sunday roast you have a choice of meats we had roast pork it melted in your mouth everything was cooked spot on. Definitely going again.

Had 3 parties here so far and all have been absolutely fantastic, lovely outdoor/indoor private area, staff are great and food is amazing, will be having future family parties/meals here 👍THANK YOU

Where do I start 😩 well over an hour for delivery. But delivery guy was nice. Now the food. I ordered a breakfast that was just so poor the toast wasn’t toast just bread with butter on sausage was disgusting. I also ordered some spicy chilli chips that were the worst chips I’ve ever had. There was no chilli just paprika sprinkled on top. So lazy and just isn’t good enough.

Had Sunday roast chicken dinner amazing value with a proper chicken breast not slices.Don't know how they can do a good roast dinner for that price but they did and it was delicious

Food missing, some of the order was incorrect and majority went to waste as it was vile, Gave me chicken wings instead of ribs, said they sent a message but no message received, my 6year olds food didn’t show up and daughters hunters chicken didn’t show up pulled pork from the hickory menu was just sliced pork sat in some bbq sauce tasted awful like it was bottled s, last order I made was awful left it a long time and thought I’d try again but definitely won’t be ordering again, waste of money.

Absolutely shocked at the food we received tonight but more so about the customer service when I rang to say my food was not only cold but half of the roast dinner was missing as if was taken straight out of the fridge! On the phone I was told we’ve been busy and ran out of stuffing potatoes and you had the last Yorkshire pudding (which was burnt and also cold) also ordered a pizza that came with no base sauce just cheese which had solidified it was that cold! All in all a shocking experience no care given to food and no care given by the lady on the phone she couldn’t of cared less, if I could of pleated no stars I would have AVOID

Had a just eat order worse meal I’ve ever had paid £14 for a roast it was cold missing new potatoes and stuffing one rock hard Yorkshire pudding! Got a pizza that was also cold the pizza had gone like a block because it was cold. £30 for the food and it we didn’t eat it phoned up to complain lady was rude said what do you want us to do about it we’ve been really busy today. I said come and pick it up and give me my money back said they don’t do it no offer of remaking the food or any help she was arrogant and dismissive. Will never order again

Had the double bacon cheeseburger and chips delivered was absolutely perfect! Came in no time , was hot and was impressed with the packaging!! 10 out of 10..very smart delivery man to! Thankyou

This is the last time we'll be ordering. Three times now and food quality has been very poor. Meat smelt off on all occasions and overall just very disappointing. Not sure if it's a good storage issue or what but it doesn't seem to be fresh at all. Do not recommend.

Quiet for a Saturday but this pub just oozes character. Locals should frequent it more....decent pubs like this are disappearing at an alarming rate. Food was good.....but your chips are something else

Ordered the Turkish Shish Kebabs - Far East Street Food Salad. Which is described as Spices minced beef kebabs covered with tomato sweet chilli, tomato lettuce onion salad severed in a Mezzaluna bread. But what I had was grisly beef cuts and some herby tomato sauce. No salad. Was a real disappointment.

We visited this pub today for a Sunday roast and we were not disappointed. We were met by warm inviting staff and shown to a cosy room with a friendly atmosphere. The roast dinner was delicious and plenty of it served on warm plates which was a bonus. It says it all when we say we will definitely be going again with family and/or friends. Well done to the staff who were so welcoming and friendly. Keep up the good work. Sue and Ian.

We've just had 3 delivered meals, lasagne was lovely, sausage chips and beans was really nice and the double burger and chips was out of this world, all the food was hot and delivered on time, probably the best burger I've had for years and at a very reasonable price... I highly recommend you try!

Meat was tender, Yorkshire's 5*, more cauliflower, etc in place of a potato would be good. Overall though we enjoyed it, as l'm disabled and it was my hubbies birthday, so it was to say thank you to him. Prawn cocktail is being saved for tea !!

My sister and I have had a bottle of wine and a huge baked potato meal each tonight delivered super fast, piping hot and for an amazing price! That is why I will always recommend this gem of a pub. What a surprise this pub is! A lucky find while passing through on the canal. A friendly welcome and a good selection of lager, ciders, beers and more awaits. The place is a little hidden gem, with quirky booths and a totally unique decor inside and out. Who wants a bland carbon copy of the same pub in every town? If you prefer vanilla, try a ‘Spoons down the road. We’ve not eaten here but the speciality pie menu looks delicious. We’ll be back if we’re local again.

We have ordered from them before because of the range of food on offer from one place is extensive and tge food itself is always excellent. The person who delivered the food was very professional and friendly and I am sure would have helped with any queries had we had any. Highly recommend.

Favourite pub in Droitwich. Lovely fruity ciders (just wish they did them all year around!), delicious food and a wide variety of choices on their menu too. Really nice atmosphere, lovely beer garden with additional outdoor but sheltered seating/booths. Friendly staff. Don't really know what else to say other than I just really like this pub!

What a quirky pub - good drinks, fantastic food and great prices and set in a strange but endearing style - we liked it... alot!! Give it a go for food - both the Droitwich and Worcestershire pies and the Chicken and Cheese burgers are amazing as are the strangely cut chips - you won't regret it!

Weirdest pub we’ve ever been to. Random junkyard feel to it. Food was below average, but edible. Felt like we were part of some hilarious Peter Kay sketch. You can’t actually sit by the canal, or anywhere near the canal, as described by Google. It’s just weird. You have to see it to believe it. Seat cushions nailed to the front of the ladies’ toilet cubicle doors? Only worth the visit for the comedy value.

The Gardeners Arms was a great little find in Droitwich, a maze of indoor and outdoor seating which makes it great for kids. The Staff were excellent, chatty and infomative about the pub and local area.
