We visited for the first time in June and could not have had a better visit, we could not wait to go back so set out with friends and family, the food was staggered one person ate before the rest arrived, we chased the staff and just got told “it’s coming!” the staff were rude and everything was far too much bother, will not be rushing to go back, especially when creams is round the corner, very sad.
I don’t usually complain over something so simple but this really annoyed me. Ordered from JustEat, terrible experience, no refund for missing item, phoned with no response, awful portion sizes for the cost. Would not recommend.
There was a 20 mins wait for hot food. Even so, when it was delivered it was cold. Because of this, it was greasy and flaccid. Unfortunately because they serve drinks when you order, it was not possible to eradicate the nasty mouth feels with the coffee that was long gone by the time food was served. There is also no universe where putting cheese on the outside of a toastie makes sense. Add to all of this the fact that the tables were so rammed together, we could clearly hear the conversations of people several tables away.
Went for breakfast on 19th Dec , as always there was a good selection of items, toaster & butter. The plates however were cold, I did enquire & was told they weren't heated to save energy. A good meal split by a simple solution solution.
Very dirty. Staff paid no attention to waiting customers and instead were too busy gossiping or listening to music. Witnessed someone making a complaint to then be thrown out for it? A big shame as previously had good experiences with this restaurant but certainly won’t be visiting again after witnessing this. Very disturbing.
I’ve been using the since the 1980’s, every single time the food has been great.
They’ve never got my order wrong and it’s always hot and very tasty. It’s a special advent for our family to have a Chinese meal and I’ve tried everyone in Worcester and my favourite is the Rainbow. The service is fabulous and our customer expectations have never been let down. Keep the good work up!👍
Four days later I'm still suffering the effects of terrible food poisoning caused by a dodgy fishcake i bought with chips on Saturday evening 1st Feb,
Cleanliness and hygiene very poor in here which stinks of old frying oil as the extractor was not switched on. The floors are grimy and the posters above the chip fryer range are brown due to being covered in grease. Just horrible....
I'm going to report to the council to check the hygiene standards here.
Avoid at all costs.
Whilst queuing to place my order I was watching a female member of staff re stocking the cakes. She had gloves on and picked up maple and pecan swirls to put in the display, then without changing gloves picked up cinnamon swirls and put them in the display. I myself have a nut allergy and the cross contamination that may have happened from this worker not changing gloves between handling an item with nuts and ons without has ensured I will not be ordering any sweet treats from Starbucks in the future.
Prices have gone up and quality down.
2 kebabs, 1 mini fish, 2 battered sausages, 2 chips and a curry sauce for almost £40 absolute rip off. The quality has gone down over the past 12 months. Wont be going back
Ordered last night 2 pizza s from them , with Uber eats , a 9 inch and a 12 inch one , the small one was fine but the bigger one was raw , like the dough was not cooked completely and it needed like at least 15 more minutes cooked .
This review is purely on just trying to book a table, as no reply to several e mails/voice messages i have no choice but to get my frustration out on here!!
We are a Worcester Ladies Group with over 100 members, myself and others put several events on each month at all different kinds of venues in Worcester. This is the Worst experience we have had to just book a table!!
Celebrating a members 50 Birthday we wanted to book a table for drinks early evening for 15 people.. ( We are going to Cadena first for a Bottomless Brunch which was a breeze to sort for 20 people) Website says if a large group to e mail, which i did 3 times with no reply so i then left 2 messages on mobile number no reply… this was over a couple of weeks. I then decided to just book several tables on line, website showed a few tables of 6 available so i booked 1 table and secured it with a £10 deposit and went on too book the next which said it was unavailable and so were all the other tables!! Within 5 mins of booking the first!!
So another member then went into the venue to book on a Saturday but the booking system was down!!! and member of staff called Autumn promised to call back on the Monday and sort it… but she did not!!
Eventually we made a second visit the following week and secured a second table of 6 and have been promised the tables will be together…
So time consuming just to book a table !!!
