Seacrest Fish Bar in Worcester

Popped in after a day at the races. Absolutely incredible fresh fish and massive! Chicken burger and chips was fantastic, and battered sausage and chips was great too. We ate in and the staff were extremely friendly.

Used to like their Donner Fritters, but hadn’t been for quite a while. Very disappointed in what I got this time. They don’t do the Donner Fritter any more, so I had Donner Meat and Chips and a curry sauce. Donner Meat was cold, very small portion of chips. Although they tasted OK they were quite soggy. Curry Sauce was just a brown liquid, didn’t even try it. Won’t be going back unless I’m desperate. Very poor.

Chips weren’t cooked properly, curry sauce was liquid, mushy peas didn’t taste of peas!! And to top it off we had two bottles of Diet Coke bbd of 30.6.23!!! Flat and horrible. Really dissatisfied and waste of money

Late, always I always like to give the benefit of the doubt so tried then a couple of times. Every time late. Go somewhere else

Staff very pleasant and the chips were okay, but the fish was terrible--soggy batter and fish obviously frozen with awful texture.

I really can’t understand the bad reviews!! We always have food cooked to order, it’s hot fresh and tasty! We absolutely love the potato fritters. The staff are polite and professional. Will definitely be going back

This establishment used to serve some of the best F&C in Worcester. It now serves probably the worst. Served by untrained staff that didnt appear to know what they were doing. I was served over cooked fish that was tough ! It was specially cooked haddock so no excuses. My dinner for 2 cost £20 and most was left. I live 8 miles away so it wasn’t a question of returning it. If you read this bear it in mind and save yourself a disappointment

This is my local chippie that I use, usually it's ok. Today I spent nearly £11 for a portion of fish, chips and mushy peas. The fish looked frozen not fresh, the batter was soggy and dripping oil, even the chips were raw and less than you used to get. It looks like it might be under new management but it's just not worth going to at the moment, choose a better one.

I’ve used Seacrest Fish bar regularly without issue. Hiwever, today we had a fish and chips and a pie with some doner meat for a family meal. The chips looked like they had been reheated, the fish was all batter not much fish. The pie had an odd appearance, filling was sauce and no meat, the pastry was tough. Very poor, possibly as bad as I have had anywhere. Shame as I’m a regular but may not use them again

Fish and chips freshly prepared, generous portion, good quality cod and friendly service - v. good indeed!

Paid £16 for a large fish and chips and 2 kids meals!!!! Worst quality ever! Covered in oil. Kids sausage was cold in the middle! There was bits of batter all over the chips... 6 staff in all working together no social distance! Hands used on food! And no Masks worn! Staff away everyone! Be better off going somewhere else!

Visited this place Friday at 7.15. Chips were a mixture of cardboard texture, hard, green tinge and stone cold. I suggest they were at best re-heated from previous lunch time at worst the day before. The fish was limp, tasteless and wrapped in grease laden batter. The peas were luminescent green with a poignant smell. The contents of our order were binned in total. I should in hindsight returned it to the shop and regret not doing so. This was appalling and even my poor dog was denied a chip for fear of the need for an emergency vet visit. Give it a wide berth.

The welcome we received was wonderful and a special effort was made to turn the fryers on ( we were early) so I could have gluten free fish and chips, the first time in 15 years. My husband was surprised how good the batter was. he isn’t gluten free. They have a whole menu of gluten free food every Tuesday And charge no more than their normal menu. Went home to oxford very satisfied and full. Outstanding service and above all the opportunity to eat the same as my family for a change without the worry of being ill. Worth the drive

I think this is the first Chip Shop in Worcester to do a gluten free day. I have to say the gluten free fish and chips were top notched and I thoroughly enjoyed them. This was my first visit but definitely not my last.

Popped in last night at about 8:15pm for a bag of chips. Paid £1.80. I received the scrag ends of what was left in the chip big. The portion was smaller than I normally receive when I purchase a 'cone' of chips from other chippies in Worcester and at a much more reasonable price than I paid here. Also the chips had been hanging around for too long. They were luke warm, soggy and contained too many little bits which other chippies usually remove. A very disappointing experience

We’ve used this chip shop for decades but since having been reopened by the original owners son it’s really improved. Super chips. Good sized portions and very friendly helpful staff. The variety of potato is always displayed. They were very helpful with my food allergies showing me the ingredients on a packet used. You can ring through and pay by card and they will have your order waiting. Very good service.

Visited last week. Great large fish, best Weve had in some time. All of us commented how good it was. Great service and very clean. Will be back keep it up guys

If you enjoy a bag of fish and chips <heavy on the vinegar> this place will be a pleasant surprise No fills, big potions and chips fried to perfection - will definitely return in the coming weeks Highly recommended Enjoy :-)

Called in tonight and was welcomed by the Owner. The fish, and chicken pie and chips were excellent. Fish was well cooked and the chips tasted smashing and the sign in the shop told me that they were Roma from Cambridge. Never seen that before...

yeah its just like any other fish bar its not bad i have not had a bad meal from there yet but its a fare way out of town if your driving or local its ok

Good portion sizes, excellent flavour and welcoming staff. What's not to like? Options on curry sauces. Kebabs are freshly cooked and will do fish to order

I have purchased fish and chips here a number of times, always freshly cooked and excellent taste, good value for money, well worth a visit.
