Worcester Steak and Grill House in Worcester

Turned up at 4.30 on a Friday afternoon. "Sorry we have serving food". Not a great first visit. Will I come back again, make a guess.

Very rough environment and crowd. Trouble every weekend in this place and owners ban people for being violent and then let them back in the next day. Worst place that I have been too.

Pub is rough, ate once in there and had bad stomach within two hours, staff behind bar are moody and uninviting, would not recommend anyone drinking or eating here.

We hadn't booked managed to get a table. No track and trace. We ordered drinks and food was disappointed the full menu we where given didn't have everything then heard the barmaid tell another couple no starters. We had to settle for one option on the Steak menu. The steak came and was under cooked to what We ordered, when returned it was the same plate.it hadq been gone 5 minutes and the chips still had the mayonnaise on so obviously the food was stood. For a steak house you expect more than half a grilled tomato and more than 2 button mushrooms. The peppercorn sauce was probably a 4 out of 10. On the whole the meal was very disappointing. Over £40 for probably 2 meals worth £20 at most at least the chips where cooked.

Attentive staff, brilliant management would recommend to anybody! Get yourself out there and enjoy a good slap up steak! Looks lovely too

I visited with my family in October and straight away on arrival it was a shambles, The table that was reserved for us they had given to someone else by mistake and so we therefore had to wait an extra 20 minutes to be seated despite making a reservation for a set time. We had a drink at the bar and thought it may just be a blip so stayed for food and drinks. Well we all wished we hadn’t. The food order was wrong for 2 out of 5 of us and so sent it back and by the time the right food came the other three had finished there meals. The food is the only part I couldn’t complain about however the service was extremely poor. We raised concerns with the manager who told us he was sorry and this was a rare occasion to then over hear him saying to a member of staff at the bar “can you deal with them can’t be doing with the headache.” You see i know this was about our table as there was only about three tables occupied at this point and when confronted he said “if you are going to create a scene please leave I am stressed enough.” So in summary the manager is FAKE, nice to your face and unkind behind your back. All because we were unhappy with the bad service we received from the moment we arrived. We paid our bill left our drinks as we were not funding there pockets a second longer. Think It’s disgusting you raise a genuine concern with the manager and you get treated like a bad person. My two elderly parents did not need the stress either Nick “the manager” (which I say loosely). We all just wanted a nice family meal in a supposedly family friendly pub! I think not! It seems the manager only likes you if you don’t have a bad word to say and if you keep your mouth closed about anything that could slightly hinder his business.

I frequented this newly opened restaurant and was bitterly disappointed. Then waiting Staff got our order wrong. Our meals were not served together. The Man who introduced himself as the Owner made us feel very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this shoddy place to anyone.

What can you say quiet night and food was fantastic great steak staff was not over worked but Mark was a great host. Definitely go back and if you want a great meal give it a go.

First visit to Worcester steak and grill house after reading a lot of revues and WOW! Superb value for money, Outstanding Food and great friendly staff, highly recommend this restaurant 5*****

We went for a meal this week and we cannot fault anything! From the friendly and welcoming staff, fantastic wine and outstanding food (sea bass is a must!) we found our experience faultless (and we are fussy😇).

Super food, friendly staff and reasonably priced too. The lager on tap was great as well - will be back soon

Decided to come out for a meal at the last minute. They had a table available so we booked. Welcome was very friendly and we chose our table. The place has been refurbished very tastefully whilst keeping the charm of the old building. Music is background music, soft and quite romantic actually. I had the calamari starter and my wife had the garlic and herb mushrooms. Both were lovely. There were so many mushrooms my wife kept some back to go with her steak! Which leads me into the mains. We both ordered sirloin steak. My wife likes it medium to well, only because she didn't like any pink in her steak. It came back looking medium but cooked perfectly all the way through. No pink at all. The steaks melted on your mouth. Absolutely gorgeous. The steak comes with a side and a sauce. I had spring onion mash and my wife had fries. When the meals turned up, you also had a salsa and some vegetables as well. The meal was lovely. The house wine is a Chilean merlot. Really went well with the steak. Staff are really friendly. Nothing is too much for them. We eat out a lot in town and I would say this is now the best steak house in worcester. They have only recently opened. Try it and you won't be disappointed.

Got served today by Sam, Great food, Sam had a great product knowledge he know a lot about the steaks and he recommended me the T-bone that was incredible piece of meat, I had the Calamari as a starter, T-bone 18oz for my main and 2 Guinness, Highly recommended.
