Great service, good quality and atmosphere. A firm favourite for us. We go to this one and Earlswood, both are excellent. The Smokehouse Platter is excellent if you can't choose, but a Brisket sub makes a great early dinner without being too heavy. The Berry Crumble Sour Beer is a unique offering, it's the taste of Autumn / Halloween with it's spicy notes and tart flavour.

Had a great experience at Hickory’s! The service was fantastic, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Some of the food was a little overcooked and slightly dry, but overall, the flavours were good. Would still visit again!

I can't recommend this place enough. Every time we've been, the staff have been AMAZING. Best service with a smile, always. Foods great, drinks are great, and the overall atmosphere is always fantastic. We love it, the kids love it (especially the popcorn, cinema room and outside play area) Can't wait to go back.

I am so full of meat.. Delicious, tender, flavourful, juicy meat. Brooked a table for myself and my girlfriend for my birthday, first time at Hickorys, we were both very impressed. The food is so good and the portions aren't small, the service was very good and very friendly. We lucked out on our table as we were tucked away from the slightly noisier groups but I guess that's just luck of he draw. If you're a meat lover I highly recommend this place, though I don't think I can eat meat for a couple of days now 😂

Visited on a busy Saturday evening for a birthday, the service was great; quick and polite. The food was exactly what was needed for a frosty evening - delicious and generous portions.

Brisket was amazing as always, Service was almost perfect, but there was someone who i assume was a manager kept walking back and forth which was quiet annoying and seemed very unnessecary

The experience of eating here is really good. Everything is nicely done. My only gripe is that the service charge is added automatically. Whilst a tip is normally deserved here, this takes all the nicety out of giving one. The waitress told us that if we didn’t want to pay it then they would take it off the bill, but this puts you, the customer, in a very awkward position should you not feel the tip is deserved. This is not the USA, where servers aren’t paid minimum wage and tips are expected to make up their wages.

Was waiting for 40mins for our table to be ready, which isn’t ideal with a 2 year old

Food was nice although a charge of £10 to upgrade chicken fajitas to steak was expensive making them £29. Whole place was cold with very small domestic fan heaters trying to heat the place, I couldn’t take my overcoat off. Staff all friendly enough.

What an amazing place. Staff were so friendly and enthusiastic. I went here as a surprise for my birthday, once we realise they sing we kindly asked them not to sing for me as I do not like it and they respected my wished. But I still got free birthday doughnut which was king of them. The appetiser and main meal were amazing! Brilliant. Will definitely come here again. This place is for you if you love bbq meat. I noticed lots of children in restaurant, restaurant offered movies for children to watch away from tables which is great if you are looking to bring yours.

We come here every year for our kids birthday and it never disappoints. The building is beautifully decorated with Xmas, staff are extremely attentive and made a fuss of our children who love it. They put balloons out in advance as planned and came and sang happy birthday with the cake arrival. The food was really good, expensive but worth it and the drinks were good. Can’t speak highly enough of this place 👌🏻

Plenty of tables but sat us next to a family with a pram. Had to squeeze to get past. Brisket was dry. Waiter didn't know how to split a bill between 2 🤦‍♂️

Great food and great drinks. Guinness from here was 5* What I would say at Christmas they seem to have far too few eggnog bottles. As I absolutely love hickorys eggnog. I'd drink it all year round if they sold it.

We loved it there. Went there for our 10th Wedding anniversary meal. The service was beyond what we expected, with a board saying happy anniversary as well as a doughnut with party flares. Thank you.

I only give 4 stars as hickory's removed burn ends from their menu which was the main incentive to go as there's nowhere else that did them. I would also love to see a form of classic American pie in their dessert selection too. That all said the atmosphere is brilliant, music is great. Worcester has one of the best bar areas I've seen at a hickories. It's a great place to go for food or even as a bar too. The staff are always so wonderful, polite, well mannered and of a genuinely happy demeanor. Also the eggnog at Christmas is amazing

Average overpriced food. Really don't think adding a service charge but calling it the "tip jar" is any better. Service was very lacking, having to flag someone down when we wanted additional drinks then the bill. We would have asked for the additional "tip jar" to be removed if it wasn't such a hassle to get anyone's attention and embarrassing to ask for it to be taken off, though I guess that's why it's done this way? Won't hurry back

The food is great, service is decent and it's consistent across the branches I've been to. Prices are a bit sharp, but everything is these days.

The service is as warm as a summer’s day in Savannah, North Carolina 🇺🇸. The food is excellent, I highly recommend the brisket, mac and cheese and the corn dog 🌭. There’s a cinema in the back of the restaurant where the kids can watch films 🍿. Thanks for a great lunch!

It wasn't busy when we came in for dinner. But we experienced slow service and innatentive servers. The restaurant was cold and lacked atmosphere. Shame because it has potential to be a good place to dine with friends. Food was as expected nothing to make us want to return sadly.

We went as a family for dinner, my daughter had the 3am Mac and Cheese and my wife and I had the Smokehouse Platter to share. The meat was dry and the ribs had too much barbecue sauce on them. The smoke on the meat was too high, making it bitter. The chicken wings were dry and the beef ribs were good. The pork ribs were dry and tasted a bit bitter due to the smoke. The restaurant was cold, as well.

We visited yesterday for lunch with Santa. What an absolutely lovely experience!! The elves that were walking round and interacting with the children were fantastic! My boys absolutely loved Twinkles and Sprinkles, they were so interactive! The food was lovely, we all really enjoyed our meals. The activity packs for the children on the tables were brilliant!! Santa was fantastic, he was so lovely. We didn’t feel rushed, he asked the boys so many questions and they loved it! Thank you, merry Christmas!

Saw an advert on Tiktok, As we were coming back from Birmingham. We thought lets give this a go, My god this place was amazing! The atmosphere , staff and food were excellent. We are going to revisit this again for sure!

We came here as a family for brunch with Santa and I was so blown away with the experience I felt I had to write a review. The service was amazing. Every single person was brilliant. The elf’s were excellent and really made my daughter feel special and Father Christmas himself was great. Loads of things for my daughter to do while she waited for food and the activity packs on the table were great. The food was delicious and service was quick! Will absolutely be returning. Thank you.

The staff are so friendly and welcoming from start to end! We started off with some drinks as we were a bit early, but the bar staff made some lovely cocktails. The food came out quickly given that we ordered a feast! The brisket was particularly nice. This is a great place to visit if you're in Worcester for a trip.

Dan was absolutely incredible!! After hearing about my sisters rough birthday he went above and beyond to ensure she had a better day from then on, I can honestly say I have never had a better experience with anyone else anywhere! Someone give him a raise!!

Dan was our waiter and he was absolutely lovely, made sure we had everything we need and was so polite. Really made our experience enjoyable! Food was lovely and again Dan making sure everything was ok.

Been to Hickory's before and it's been good - this time was better - great baby back ribs but especially my beef rib - super tender, delicious and well smoked - helped along by a great selection of non-alcoholic beers as well as a nostalgia-inducing root beer float and great service!

Absolute joy from start to finish. Promptly seated on arrival. Really pleasant vibe and buzz. Katie, our lovely server, introduced herself and was very helpful and knowledgeable when asked about dishes on the menu. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Between the four of us we had the tacos and the chicken wings for starters followed by full racks of ribs and half chickens with bbq sauce. All perfectly presented, cooked and sufficiently sized. Drinks wise, cocktails were amazing and a good variety of beers on draught. Reason we visited was to pay homage to our friends recent return from a road trip in America. They both said that the food they’d had at Hickory’s was by far superior to any that they’d had whilst on their travels! Praise indeed 😊!

When you order the half a pound of Texas style brisket almost £21.00. make sure they weight in in front of you as It doesn't look like a half a pound, as I receive just 2 slices and bit.

Great food and service. The sharing platter was amazing. I think it was Malcolm that served us he had a red and black chequed shirt on, he was absolutely brilliant, a credit to the company.

We went on a Thursday for dinner, and despite arriving quite early, we were surprised to find the restaurant quite full! We were able to get a seat in the bar section but would recommend to reserve if you'd like to go and ensure a table. The place is very well styled, with American references in every corner, making the ambiance appropriate for the theme of the restaurant. The atmosphere was also surprisingly cozy. We found it absolutely adorable that they even have a small cinema for kids! The food was quite good and it came out very quickly. Some of it was a bit lukewarm and dry, clearly it was already cooked on the grill a while ago, but overall it was quite good. We got the Thursday special (BBQ Blowout) and two appetizers (cheeseburger tater tots and the Nashville chicken). All of it was quite good and plenty of food for 2 people. We would recommend the BBQ blowout of Thursdays because of the variety of food it included and the sheer size of the portion, its a good bang for your buck.

Excellent BBQ, but pricey. Book in advance! The food here is excellent, the staff are friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is on point. They even have a cinema to entertain bored kids. The review would have been 5 stars had it not been for the cost of items being on the higher end.

Bit expensive for the food that we had nothing special Bit to much of a franchise

Booked for a celebration meal. We wanted a feast and we definitely got one! We ordered the sharing platter between us which could have fed about 6 people - we ended up taking boxes of it home for leftovers. Brilliant service and a huge menu even for gluten free diners. Would definitely recommend especially for large groups and celebrations. If you go, make sure you order the frickles.

I was pleasantly surprised by the food and service in this place. Staff were welcoming and friendly and the food was delicious. My son and I ordered a sharing platter which was more than enough food for two...we even took some home.

Genuinely this has become my new favourite restaurant. From the delicious food to the excellent service and the great atmosphere, it's something I've been searching years for. Thank you

We visited Hickory’s on Sunday and were really impressed with the overall experience. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff are attentive and welcoming. As soon as you’re seated, they bring out sweet and salty popcorn along with water, which is a nice touch. We ordered a half rack of ribs with maple syrup, and my son went for the beef on the bone. His meal was absolutely delicious—tender, soft, and full of flavour. Unfortunately, my ribs were a bit on the dry side, which I mentioned to the waitress. The manager was fantastic and kindly offered me a free beer as a goodwill gesture. We’ve been to Hickory’s before, and it’s always been amazing. We will definitely be back! The outdoor area is also a great feature. Overall, we love Hickory’s despite the minor issue with the food.

Food was as expected - expensive for what it is but you pay for the experience. Took a long time for our order to be taken, was sat right in the middle of all the family tables and near the cinema so didn't appreciate the screaming much. Server took 6 times to take payment.

Really good BBQ food and good portions too. All came out very full with no room left for anymore! Kids loved the food and their slushies were very nice and the alcoholic cocktail was very good. Service was excellent and the staff were very helpful. Cannot think of anything bad to say. Will return for another round with the meat platter that defeated me!

Absolutely love Hickory’s, my favourite place to watch American football on a Sunday! Food is amazing, the staff are incredible and the drinks are always plentiful! As far a Bartenders go, Sam is one in a million! He is an absolute legend and he really makes football Sundays awesome! We come here every week because of all of the above reasons! Thanks to Sam and all the team for being consistently absolutely amazing!!

This was my 1st visit to this establishment and it was very nice indeed. I had Steak and chips which was really nice and tasty. For desert it was a waffle lemon meringue this was also very tasty. The prices seem a bit on the expensive side. Having said that it was good food and it was an occasion meal to celebrate a birthday. Highly recommended

However, I had to get up and find someone to chase the coffee. I called through an open window. A woman who appeared in charge ignored me. When I raised my voice a little louder Dan responded. Next thing I know the windows were all being closed??!! Maybe who ever actioned this (manager?) might consider the impact of this obvious action. Not very friendly.

Saturday lunchtime 14 September. Took son and grandchildren our first experience of Hickory’s as none in Cornwall ! We had the Half chicken with salad , Meat platter and kids menu . Have to say our chicken was very dry , slaw was basic no taste and fries are fries . Disappointed with chicken must of been cooked earlier dried out before service . Meat platter ribs over cooked burnt around edges again dry ! Root beer great but served in a jam jar , took ice out ( ridiculous amount) and it was half a jam jar ! Not impressed with food at all. Service was excellent so much so we apologised to waitress when we mentioned it to her as wasn’t her fault. ! Sorry but won’t be returning when we visit family again in worcs. Overly priced poorly cooked food. ! Just our experience !

Love American food, then this is the place to go. Went with small children and two dogs the garden sheds are a great place to eat.

Absolutely incredible place. We had reserved a table, but found it a little to loud inside - the waiting staff were more than happy to move us to an outdoors table. The prices were more than fair, the food incredible and the cocktails extremely moreish. Staff were friendly with a cracking sence of humour - we will definitely be returning.

My first visit to Hickory’s was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, and our server Camile made the evening even more special. She was incredibly kind, professional, and patient, answering all our questions with impressive knowledge of the menu. The food was beyond amazing! We tried the salmon, which was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. We also shared the Plate for 2, which was enormous, but every bite was absolutely delicious. The meats were cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, and the cornbread was a standout—warm, soft, and simply divine. I can’t recommend this place enough! Hickory’s is a must-visit for anyone who loves fantastic food and exceptional service.

We came for lunch to celebrate mine and my fiance's engagement. Service was excellent, friendly and polite staff. Food came at good time no waiting around atall and food was amazing. Loved every bit of it. Loved this place and we will defintley come back again.

We love coming to Hickory’s. We travel from Cheltenham despite there being one that has recently opened in Gloucester. The food is always fantastic and the staff are friendly. Big thank you to our server Morgan who made our trip!
