The best restaurants in Telford and Wrekin West Midlands

Great food and excellent service!

We keep going back to taste the delights of this place that includes both the food and the service. Too numerous to review every time but can highly recommend. We had booked our favourite table for us near the front door and behind the till. We settled into our Table. The Food was delicious. We had a a fabulous roast dinner and the toffee apple crumble with ice cream was sublime. Thank you Manager and Staff you are one in a million.

There is a huge influx recently of glowing 5 star reviews - nine of them so far today! All the reviews are very generic and all keep naming the server, Christina. This all looks very suspicious to me...

We can always trust that The Ugly Duckling will provide a lovely visit, we adore the Sunday roast but also love the main menu. Katie our waitress this evening was really helpful and welcoming. Will absolutely return and recommend to others! 😌

Came here at about 2:30 with my partner and it was great. Perfect portion sizes, all the food was served at the perfect temperature, and the prices are great. The girl who served us was super lovely also. Definitely recommend

Very busy when we arrived, glad we booked. Food fine, wish they would make the yorkies and hone made roasties.

Five minute walk to the Telford conference centre. Very convenient for event there. Right next to the shopping mall. And there are plenty of restaurants around to grab a bite

A great experience with the hot plate, took advantage of a cocktail offer which were very tasty. Also had deserts which again were lovely. Would certainly return for a second visit.

Only reason it's 4 stars to the room is because they had a power cut so the air conditioning wasn't working staff were great and le t us a fan
