The best restaurants in Harbury Stratford-on-Avon West Midlands

I was meeting up with an old friend for the weekend, and the owners of where we stayed mentioned the Village Store. We popped by to check it out and wow, what an innovative store this is. They serve the village with papers, book shares and games, and serve food, so we immediately planned to have breakfast there before we headed back home. Breakfast was just lovely, hot, fresh and reasonably priced. The staff were super friendly and even though it was busy, they were very attentive. The deli was stocked with lovely produce, and the gift and card section was very tempting! I would like to credit the owners with what they provide for their village, a real hub for the community, I only wish I could create the same where I live, it would be a social success for sure. We plan to return for another reunite next year, and we will defiantly return here agin.

Teas coffees home made cakes.toasted tea cakes run by lovely volunteers,Very unusual to have a cafe in a library !You can read at your table and the village is so friendly you are asked to sit with the regulars,if there is room ! The cakes are delicious,flap jacks and the smaller ones are my favourite but the coffee and walnut cake looked so delicious I took a piece home to eat at two sittings !There is a loyalty scheme

It was packed when I went, but that probably had something to do with our group of 30 plus. Staff were great, food was good, beer was good.

This place was quite recently renovated but since then it might be slightly tidier- a new paint job and a nice awning in the garden but nothing else has improved. The service was extremely slow and the food is very mediocre.

The food was fine but I was overcharged and have had no feedback or reply to explain why or offer me a refund or voucher. Would be reluctant to return if the customer service is so indifferent.

Definitely worth more than 1 visit. Bright and welcoming gem of a place. Fantastic to order drinks with out being made to feel we had to have food. To be able to chat without having to shout over music. But also aware that reasonably price food, including fine dining, and live music are also available. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Waste of money and time, Waste £25 and we are not eating it way to salty,bone dry meat.

I have been twice in the last couple of weeks and have had medium chips. The first time the chips was still hard and today they had no vinegar and I had about 10-15 chips in the box very poor so got refund

Absolutely disgusting food. Took chicken back as it was black. Looked like it been cooked in some very dirty oil. Returned only to be given the same again. Refunded in the end. Won't be useing this kfc when passing

This is the closest KFC for us, so we come here relatively regularly. Although I have a receipt from April, we came in January as well. The April experience was poor but the Jan experience was much better so I've averaged the scores. As you can not get KFC points at the store, you need to order via the app, which I did not know until the lady behind the counter told me (Jan experience). The Apr 23 experience just said you need to contact customer services! Food was KFC standard and the family was happy. Likely to go again, as we do like KFC, but there more choices at these services which could be better.

After struggling through floods in Oxford, needed a break and something to eat. Not keen on KFC so used BK. No hot drinks on menu (this is November, not July), about twice the price of our usual MacDonalds. Ordered for eat in, expecting a tray with food and drinks on. No. Paper bag with food and drink containers placed on counter and, with a wave of his hand, shown where to fill them. No words spoken, just a gesture. As I have a tremor in both hands, I couldn't transport the drinks even to a table so had to wait for my wife to return to help. A tray I can manage better but none was offered. On unpacking paper bag, no mayo inside my wife had ordered. Couldn't be bothered to go back and get it. Burger was minute, with two small patties, tiny amount of gherkin and relish. Very poor value. My wife's chicken sandwich was better. Will not be going there again. Tried putting review on BK website but wouldn't accept restaraunt number?

Absolutely brilliant service and super quick making of coffee. Coffee tasted fab. Looks like a family running it and they were so lovely!!!! The man even gave my daughter a complimentary cup of cream which made our road trip, so kind!

Staff sitting on phones, not a clean table, chair or floor, 3 staff, floor filthy. Toilets passable. No motivation or enthusiasm. As a soft FM Ops Manager I would be mortified if this was my team.

Sack the girls and the guy on tonights shift 11/8/24 19:30pm. Absolutely no urgency to serve a huge queue. 2 people had actually ordered before me and they got their food out of the oven and left it on the side ready for salad. The guy disappeared and the other girl disappeared. I could see her just pottering in the back. The girl who was on the checkout just stood there as if its not her job to do salad and the guys in front of me just watched their food go cold and they left the queue annoyed. No one bothered to come serve me and so I left. They cannot be bothered to be there so please sack them. Waste of space and not only bad for business but costing you money having to throw half made food away.
