I was meeting up with an old friend for the weekend, and the owners of where we stayed mentioned the Village Store. We popped by to check it out and wow, what an innovative store this is. They serve the village with papers, book shares and games, and serve food, so we immediately planned to have breakfast there before we headed back home. Breakfast was just lovely, hot, fresh and reasonably priced. The staff were super friendly and even though it was busy, they were very attentive. The deli was stocked with lovely produce, and the gift and card section was very tempting! I would like to credit the owners with what they provide for their village, a real hub for the community, I only wish I could create the same where I live, it would be a social success for sure. We plan to return for another reunite next year, and we will defiantly return here agin.

I popped in for some breakfast whilst driving from London to Cheshire and I’m so glad I did! The lovely Stacey served me and was just a pleasure to chat to. The most amazing breakfast I’ve had in a long time with properly locally-sourced ingredients and at a very reasonable price. Even if I get my proper-critical side of me out to play, I cannot fault a single part of my visit. Exquisite. I’ll certainly be back!

Fabulous little wheelchair accessible cafe. There was a choice of four gluten free cakes, vegan too, which I didn't expect for a village shop. I had a gf blackberry slice, which was delicious and locally made. Latte was lovely too. Friendly and helpful staff, lovely atmosphere.

The Village Store is both shop and café, with a surprising range of food and drink on the shelves, and an excellent choice of cakes, pastries, pasties and samosas. It's small, and noisy when full, though there's also seating outside. Service is kind and courteous.

We love our village store, it’s full of the most delicious food. Our whole family love to visit, whether it’s for a cake or ice cream, and don’t get me started on how many wonderful jars of this, bags of that I could buy off the shelves. 🫣 My husband rates the coffee, and he’s fussy. Staff are super lovely, and it’s even dog friendly (if our dog ran away, it would be to The Village Store 🤣, she’s the biggest fan!) The Village Store has created a community in a community, it’s just getting better and better. It’s just got a lovely relaxed environment, we’re very lucky to have it down the road. Event nights are great too. Huge fans here 🎉

What a lovely place! Really friendly staff and a great selection of pastries/cakes/bread - and (more importantly) awesome coffee! Saw a couple of breakfasts gone out and they looked delicious but my almond croissant was amazing. Will definitely be back - hopefully to sit on the patio area which looks like it will be glorious in the sun.

We're so lucky with our local village store. Lovely little place selling the most delicious food and snacks. Great place to refuel after a visit to the village park with the grandkids. Every visit is a joy and it just keeps getting better and better. Events nights are great too, recently attended the art night and had a really enjoyable evening.

The Village Store has brightened up the village since opening. And now has a lovely new sun terrace. Just soaking in the sun with a nice cider, thai curry pasty and the best avocado smash we've had. They do awesome coffee and locally sourced products and arts and crafts too Brilliant stop for cyclists.

A wonderful cafe and store serving fresh foods, drinks and treats all day. Alongside the cafe is the deli and artisan shop focussing on local producers and products. They also host regular food and drink themed events and craft sessions.

We took our grandchildren aged 5 and 7 to Spotty Pots on a damp afternoon in the school summer holiday. As it was our first visit we needed some guidance but were given all we needed. It was busy when we first arrived but once everyone had chosen their item the noise subsided to a gentle hum. The children loved painting their wares and did a really good job. We had worn clothes that we were happy to get splattered if necessary but both children managed to keep the paint on the pots which was a bonus. Of course, delicious drinks and cakes were consumed and thoroughly enjoyed. The slices of cake were huge so the five year old needed help - what a shame ;) We found that the staff were a quiet presence and were friendly without being intrusive. All in all it was a lovely relaxing experience, the wares returned from the kiln looking far better than I had expected. The only slight negative, and this is not the fault of anyone at Spotty Pots, was that trying to leave the car park at 5.00pm was not easy because of kerbside parking further up the road which blocked our view of the oncoming busy stream of traffic. Nevertheless, we would not hesitate to go again but would try not to hit the rush hour upon leaving.

Super little cafe. some of the best coffee I have had and a lovel bacon ciabatta roll. All freshly prepared and served by lovely, friendly staff. Nice, bright and clean environment. I wasn't expecting much from a hospital cafe, but I was very pleasantly surprised.

Popped into here as we we're visiting studley, what a great little find. The staff are lovely and friendly and the breakfast was delicious. I ordered the regular cooked breakfast and it was massive and so tasty. My husband had scrambled eggs on toast and that too was very large and very tasty. We will definitely go back 😊
