Cafe 16 in Stratford-on-Avon

A real gem in the small town of Southam, freshly prepared and delicious. Club sandwich for me, and full English (as usual) for himself. Only minus mark: he wasn't keen on the sausages, but with 3 sausages 3 bacon etc for that price, it's not really surprising.

Brilliant little cafe with the nicest friendliest owners and servers. Always a pleasure to visit and great selection of reasonably priced cafe food with some amazing Asian guest dishes.

A really super little cafe in the centre of Southam with a great menu, very friendly and quick service all at very reasonable prices. If you're dining in you should try their Asian inspired specials which are unique and packed with flavours. Always a lunchtime favourite of ours. Getting a table can sometimes be a bit hit/miss as the place is quite small but very popular with locals at peak times. Some outdoor seating too.

Its Lovely place for coffee, Hot drinks - Pistachios Latte & Chai Latte was very nice. Very disappointed about food - 'Ramen' It's not Ramen - it's cheap instant noodle soup with added few things.

Service is absolutely amazing, couldn’t be more attentive and friendly if they tried. Food was beautiful. Very filling. Would definitely return.

I've been to Cafe 16 a few times now and every time, the food is excellent. The service is very good too. Everyone I recommended says the same.

This cafe is wonderful! The staff was ever so kind and one even considered giving my niece a oreo, the food was delicious and the drink was amazing! It's a shame I don't live in the area or else I would come round every time after school!

Lovely little cafe, food was fantastic and the staff were so friendly. Really attentive and spoiled the kids. Kids chose chicken yakisoba, for breakfast 🤷🏼 and they gave them both chopsticks to practice. They loved it. Amazing coffee and hot chocolate.

I come here very often. It is ideal for good company, a bubbly atmosphere, and brilliant food. Their Cheeky Cherry smoothie is VERY good! The people who work here are very kind and friendly too.

Was in Southam with my dad getting some car repairs done and had to wait a few hours while the work was done. I’d read the reviews of Cafe 16 and gave it a try. Very impressed. It is a small establishment but we got a table. I was struck by how pleasant the staff were and the quality of the coffee, tea and especially my delicious cheese toastie! I don’t visit the town often but if you’re there, this place is ideal for a drink or snack.

The best homemade style food, made fresh. Always tastes ever so good! Definitely recommend this place for brunch or lunch if you haven't tried it yet.

Great Place, staff are so friendly, the food is amazing, I would recommend the Chicken Yakisoba, my wife and I favourite treat every time (also their specials are amazing). If you like coffee don't leave without trying a cappuccino, I love my coffee and theirs is one of the best tasting I've ever had!

Popped in yesterday as a parkrun tourist. What an amazing cafe. Great food . Great coffee . Fair prices and super friendly staff.

Cafe 16 is a fantastic place for, Breakfast, Lunch, Brunch or even if you only want a hot or cold drink and a cake. The weekly special lunches are always delicious and the staff are so friendly and attentive. I am Diabetic and they never mind, when I ask if there's a dish I shouldn't have, the Chef always manages to treak it for me, so I don't miss out completely. We go here every week, sometimes twice.

Very small approx 20 covers, but friendly to dogs and humans! Very varied menu.

You need more stars!!! Have the special! Every time !! I had THE most amazing meal, the special chicken with rice and cucumber( stolen by my grandson), red cabbage and the incredible marinated egg yolk😋 It was absolutely scrumptious! Restaurant was clean, staff are so friendly and helpful, and the loos is spotless! Thank you from the bottom of my stomach Back again, and the special is still AMAZING!! Thai basil chicken this time, and it was absolutely awesome!!!

This is a fantastic place to eat, a cafe with a restaurant quality of service. The proprietor and staff are very friendly and efficient, the food is cooked as requested and is excellent. One of my favourite places to eat.

Excellent service and friendly helpful staff. I ordered takeaway breakfast rolls and when I asked for well done bacon they did it perfectly and crispy! A little wait while they made it but that is expected and it wasn't long. There are tables to eat in of you wish, both inside and outside seating.

Coffe excellent. Only one slice bacon in the buttee. Need to turn on the air conditioner when the smoke from the cooking catches in your throat!

Myself and my partner had a veggie breakfast each. It was a good sized meal and cooked well. Good value for money. We found the service to be impeccable, really friendly, thoughtful and genuine. They clearly delight in looking after their customers. The specials sounded great but unfortunately, none of them were vegetarian. We would definitely go back for another breafast though!

Visited cafe 16 this morning with the family. Great service and extremely friendly. Treated the children like roylaity and gave them little treats at the end. The specials are 5 star. Highly recommend

We come here as often as we can and are always made so welcome. My 10 & 13 year old LOVE it almost as much as I do. It’s a tiny place so it’s pot luck if you can grab a table but they have seating outside on a dry day & pack thing nicely for takeaways. It’s popular with a lot of locals so it does get busy especially if they have a lot of phone orders, but if you’ve time it’s worth the wait. I recommend their specials & the Gyoza & Yakisoba are superb but equally are their breakfasts, hot chocolates & latte’s. A great family who know how to cook 💕

My daughter and I have developed a new ritual: lunch on Saturdays at Cafe16! The specials are always interesting Asian dishes and delicious, freshly cooked and portions are generous. We don't always manage to finish our meal and the lovely staff are always happy to pack the leftovers for us to take home. The latte is incredible, a veritable treat, and my daughter loves the milkshakes. This is a little gem of a cafe' and our favourite place to eat out in Southam.

We booked for cooked breakfast and were glad we did as even in a Tuesday the small cafe was busy. The food was freshly cooked, tasted excellent and was good value. The busy owners were polite and welcoming.

Really lovely family run cafe. Service was quick and coffee was great. Will definitely come back again and try the food.

Very friendly, accommodating staff who interacted with our 3yr old beautifully and gave us an extra plate without trying to make us buy a separate meal our daughter probably wouldn’t eat. Food was freshly cooked and hot, very tasty and good portion sizes. Reasonable prices which is very much appreciated as a family. Well deserved 5 stars and we will be back when we are up here next.

The food and service here are impeccable. I normally just have (delicious) coffee and shortbread but today I had chicken teriyake with mango and rice, which was sensational (and very good value). I can recommend Cafe 16 unreservedly.

Lovely staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We have an 18 month old who was make very welcome and even treated with a lolly on the way out. Delicious, reasonably priced food.

A lovely family run Cafe. Vegetarian breakfast was tasty and didn’t cost a lot at all. Interior was clean and modern. Didn’t look too inviting from the outside but glad we did go in, will definitely be back!

Called in recommend by a friend. Ordered 3 sausage sandwiches and two pot's of tea. I expected chunky bread. Unfortunately it was thin sliced bread. With pre cooked heated sausages. I wouldn't recommend this place. And I won't be returning.

This was a great breakfast - 3 sausages, 3 rashers of bacon, 2 eggs, mushrooms, hash brown, baked beans and tomato. With loads of toast, and all for the amazing price of £6.50. Clean, cheerful and with friendly staff we were well chuffed.Walked in, ate, waddled out burping gently. Really really very good.Thanks Cafe 16.

Tiny cafe that’s decorated to a high standard making the most of the space to give a cost feel. The food is cooked freshly in the open kitchen, all of which is very clean. The staff possibly the owners are a credit to the cafe and pay attention to every detail. Great for a homely fry up, not the norm of greasy cafe food. Can’t wait to return :).

Can highly recommend the toasties, panini’s and their bacon and sausage rolls. If you’re in a rush pre order as everything is made to order and they’re very busy most the time. Small cafe with limited seating, I tent to get a take away.

We visit this cafe at least once a week for our lunch break. The food is excellent though not extensive, I highly recommend the Chicken Yakisoba, and the coffee even better. They serve Lavazza coffee for those who care. The staff are very friendly and the cafe is kept spotlessly clean, all in all highly recommended

Great Gem in Southam My husband a cup of tea nice to have a choice of teas. I had a fruit juice. Will be going back in the future for something to eat great value for money.. Great for couples, families and friends. Very friendly, excellent cleanliness and you can see the family cook the food and interact with customers. Shame I made a pack lunch next time will have something to eat for my next visit. . There is a ramp for a wheel chair outside in the street but there are 3 steps to get into the cafe. I am looking forward to going again to Cafe 16. Great 10 stars for me.

We use this Café on a regular basis as we have found it is the best in Southam, the menu is not over extensive but all the food is fresh and prepared in full site, the Café is one of the cleanest we have used for a long time.

What a fantastic little cafe in the heart of Southam! I had no idea that they offered such a varied menu, with great prices and fantastic service. The staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful in advising about the menu, and the food was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to go back and sample more of the menu, but I can confirm that the gyoza and ramen were very tasty indeed. Thank you for your kind smiles and welcoming demeanour, and lovely food!

cosy atmosphere, friendly owner and staff, clean environment and delicious food ( traditional cafe food but with a variety of smoothies and frapuccinos plus Japanese food and beef brisket and Philly cheese steak!!!)

Very tasty food and helpful staff but we don't go often as it's not baby friendly in the sense that it's hard getting the pram up the steps, not a lot of room for the pram once in and there are no high chairs. A real shame as I'd be in every week if it was more geared towards parents since I meet other mums in Southam for coffee all the time, but we'd need space for multiple prams and high chairs.

Staff are always friendly. The food is good. Hubby always has the Ramen which is chicken soup with noodles, lettuce, frankfurter, ham and fried egg. He loves it. It’s a good price as well.

We've been here quite a few times and every time has been fine. The food is cooked quickly and the staff are all very friendly. I usually have the Full English breakfast and it's always great. The drinks are also a good selection.
