An absolutely brilliant find. Fantastic, friendly service and quick. The food was ace and truly the best toasted cheese sandwich (with sauerkraut, this time) I've ever had. It all tasted fresh and great quality.

Great food, great location. 3 non-vegans very impressed with the choice and quality. Shawarma crunch and jalapeño burger were 10/10. My only improvement would be that the sausage ciabatta was pretty empty with only 2 small sausages, but still very tasty.

Fantastic Plant-Based cafe with a great selection of food. Very friendly welcome and dog friendly. They gave our dog a few pieces of kibble. Highly recommended

Whether you’re vegan or not, you will love Plantarium. Everything we ordered was so delicious! The seating area is limited and the place can get busy, which is not surprising given the wonderful food and generous portions.

Delicious vegetarian/vegan food, very tasty and friendly staff. Don't be worried, Co-meat eaters, you will love this place as well. Aubergenie is highly recommended!

Top vegan eats in Stratford, in fact the only fully plant based in Stratford. We went for breakfast (coffee and cake), lunch (amazing schnitzel) and tea (hot chocolate and more cake). Sit outside in the Minories yard or upstairs in a warm and cosy room.

Outstanding food and service. We valued the varied menu and the different dishes available. We enjoyed the mushroom and sauerkraut tortillas and the snitzel. Portion size was very good and the prices were reasonable for the quality and individuality of each dish. Service was prompt and enthusiastic. We had cake as take away, again the variety was very different to the offerings at other cafes., which we greatly appreciated. We enjoyed our lunch so much we returned the next day for more 11/10 in my book.

Love this little place so much. I go every time I’m in Stratford. Sometimes it’s the reason I go to Stratford. In fact, and this is true, I was once off work on a Thursday and thought ‘It’s a nice day, maybe I’ll go to Stratford’ and when I checked and this place wasn’t open on Thursdays, I went somewhere else instead. I can’t remember where.

Rainy Lunch Even though the sun did not shine, we sat in the courtyard under cover and it was lovely. Coffee was awesome and the food divine. Full of flavour wholesome and very freshly prepared. Could not fault our delicious lunch. Thoroughly recommend this little gem, with all the right ethos. .....

An absolute gem of a find. Fantastic vegan food, lots of choices, quickly served, very reasonable price. We only stayed in Stratford for two days and having eaten here on the first day we came back on the second. If we lived nearer we would be eating here at least weekly. It looks tiny from the outside and you might think they're full inside but there's more seating upstairs. We had the shawarma crunch, trip to Mexico, tofu bbq burrito and I don't give a schnitzel. All delicious. And on both days we had the orange hot chocolate which was divine. Other sites list Plantarium as vegetarian, but all the food is vegan. Maybe it's their offering dairy milk as an alternative to all the plant milks they have that got them the veggie label rather than vegan. It was nice to see the 30p surcharge on the dairy milk instead of the plant milks for a change :) Highly recommended.

Food looked and tasted great. Service was excellent. Nice to find an all vegan restaurant. Will definitely be back.

I'm in love with this place. Every time I pass through Stratford, I always make a mandatory stop to have breakfast here. The quality of the food is incredible and the service unbeatable. It is in a small square 1 minute from the main street in a completely quiet area.

Sat upstairs with my family. All ordered coffee and teas. The I love yoga tea and Cannabis tea were delish!! Herbivore burgers were so yummy. Will be coming back for another! Whole family were very happy with their choices. YUMMY VEGAN FOOD 😍😍

Outstandingly good vegan food. It’s rare to find a vegan place that gets the balance right between nourishing dishes and burgers, fries etc but they got it totally bang on. Lots of clearly marked gluten free options- all of the toasties can be made gluten free! We got a good variety of food and drinks and everything was a hit, but shout-out in particular to: - the iced blue matcha latte - shawarma crunch (the firm favourite of our group) - the rainbow bread for LGBTQ+ Pride Month! (Which had a real positive impact on our group, especially having experienced homophobia during our 2 days in Stratford-upon-Avon- this nod to pride felt super meaningful and celebratory for us ❤️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

I absolutely love plantarium cafe, they make the best oat latte and their food is really nice. Absolutely loved my falafel wrap and the salad my mum had was brilliant too. Always friendly and helpful staff, in a lovely atmosphere.

Always amazing food!!! Wish we didn’t live so far away and it is quite pricey but totally worth it, as they have large portions and the cake portions are insane! We love this place but there are a few downsides, you can’t book, so tables not guaranteed, it’s quite small & not child friendly, no changing facilities or chairs very dog friendly though… they offer treats and blankets… Shame we first started coming here with our dog and got great treatment not the same since going with a baby…but that’s been the same with multiple places…

It was ok, so busy so sat outside freezing as no blankets left but that’s not a big deal. But the mushroom tortilla I had was so so peppery it just tasted of pepper, I gave it 3 rather than lower as my husbands tofu dish was lovely :)

The cafe is really cute and from the moment we stepped in, the two people working there were so lovely! We ordered tea, two cruffins and a blue matcha. The matcha was the best matcha I’ve ever had! Thank you for the great service and food!

Nice Lunch. Two of us went for lunch and sat upstairs. There are some tables in the quiet courtyard outside, but the day wasn't that warm and there were no free tables in the sun. We had a Shawarma Crunch and a Trip to Mexico, both grilled wraps, and we cut both in half and shared. You get a nice side of salad and some tortilla chips included. I had a beer, my partner had water. Good atmosphere, if a little quiet. The food was nice, and all vegan. £36.

This is our favourite place to eat in Stratford. The coffee is the best, always lovely and hot, try the biscoff latte, mind blowing! The food is always delicious, we’ve been for the breakfast baps, lunch and just coffee/cake and the service is always so friendly and kind. They always bring our dog a little blanket if we are outside and a plate of treats. Make sure you’re hungry as the portions are generous. Can get very busy but with the better weather hopefully coming there is plenty of outside seating, blankets provided if it’s a bit chilly. Lovely staff, cosy atmosphere, banging food!!! A gem that I’d like to stay a little bit hidden please??

We stopped here without looking at the reviews and had a fantastic vegan jalapeño cheeseburger with salad and side tortilla chips. The food was even nicer than the picture and that’s saying something

Our first visit and certainly not our last. Loved this cafe, with its outdoor seating, blankets and cushions were most welcome on a chilly spring day. Coffee was great and the cakes absolutely delicious. I’m not vegan but would definitely be tempted to try more from the menu next time. Thank you for making us and our pup so welcome.

Fantastic fully vegan cafe with a delicious and varied menu, excellent coffee (even the decaf), great portion sizes and superb service. We go here regularly with our whippet; who loves it as much as we do and always tries to go in whenever we walk past. It never disappoints anyone we take there, including non-vegans as the menu is varied enough to suit all tastes 🌱💛😍

Visited during a weekend away in December. This was actually our second visit as we deliberately sought out this cafe having visited on a previous trip. Excellent cafe with plenty of tempting options. Will visit again on a future trip. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful first visit to this cafe. I find it hard to find fully vegan restaurants and cafes and I discovered this gem. Food was lovely, great portion sizes, awesome selection of food and cakes! I have the Mexican tofu wrap and my partner had the jalapeño cheese burger. I also had to take 2 slices of cake with me, made in house! I had chocolate hazelnut and a biscoff. Thank you so much we will definitely be visiting again.

Came here for brunch-y stuff ahead of a matinee on a bitterly cold early March weekend. They serve an excellent range of vegan choices (pickle toastie, shawarma crunch) and the coffee (oat flat white)was good, too. Upstairs was perfectly cozy but I intend on coming by in warmer times with cycling friends and the outdoor seating area looks promising for that. Superb!

I’m currently challenging myself to eat Vegan only for at least a full year from 1st January 2024 so I was pleased to find this gem of a vegan cafe. I had a bowl of chickpea and peanut butter stew with flatbreads and my Mum had a “trip to Mexico” spicy tofu crunchy wrap. The food was amazing and the service friendly. Recommended.

Absolutely delicious lunch. Really pleasantly surprised. My meal was charcoal bread sandwich of tofu sauerkraut and vg cheese sauce and my friend had something like mushroom tacos?! All delicious and really friendly staff. Lovely place and would definitely recommend

Wonderful to find a place that serves vegan. So much care was put into preparation. The food was top quality and delicious. You can see it was prepared with a lot of care and pride. We ate both days we stayed here and will definitely return when we come back to Stratford upon Avon. Very good value and friendly staff.

This has to be the most doggy friendly cafe I have visited. My doggy and others were given lots of fuss, a blanket to sit on and a whole plate of treats. The whole vibe was friendly, welcoming and relaxing. The cake was amazing too!

We returned here today after eating there when ladt in Stratford. It was as good as we remembered ! A really interesting menu, we chose, Tofu Bacon Butty and the Black Charcoal bread , cheese , mustard and Pickle toastie .Both were delicious. Although we didn't try the cakes, but they looked amazing on the counter. Will definitely try next time ! Surroundings were pleasant and relaxed.

AMAZING! The food here was so tasty and really inventive, had a chance to speak to the chef who had put so much thought into the falvours of all the dishes.

Oh my gosh! What a find! I'm glad we chose here over the many other cafes in Stratford. I had the vegan smoked salmon and it was to die for- tasted just like the real thing. Being a vegetarian of 16 years, smoked salmon is still the only thing I miss, so this was revolutionary. My partner is GF and Vegan and was well catered for too. If ever we return to Stratford we will come back, thank you!

Worth finding this establishment - the staff were helpful and courteous. We are not vegan however the choices on the menu were excellent. Service was quick and the servings were huge. The coffees and tea were excellent. A very enjoyable experience - thank you

Not vegan myself but my partner is. Very nice place to visit we come as often as we can as the coffees are spectacular and the cakes are also amazing. The reason I give a 4 star on food is unfortunately I have a hard time with vegan food as high amounts of soya.

The food here is absolutely delicious - can't fault it. The burgers, shawarma, and toasties are all sublime. One thing I was deeply saddened about was their decision to serve dairy milk. In the cafe there is an abundance of messaging surrounding the importance of veganism with respect to the rights of animals, including a notice that the establishment is 'vegan because we care'. This simply seems like lip-service as there is a dairy milk option. This seems to disregard the horrendous cruelty involved in the dairy industry. The issue here is the contradictory messaging - even the website says "Animals suffering in...dairy farming...is a fact and we do not want to be a part of that". Why on earth would you serve dairy milk if you are aware of the immorality of the practice? The door even has a 'post milk generation' sticker to signify society moving past the barbaric practices of the dairy industry and yet one of the first things you'll see when you enter is the proudly displayed cow milk option. I have still given a good review because the food (which is all vegan) is delicious and overall this place is a good advert for vegan food. However, this messaging is a serious problem and undermines the vegan philosophy. I really hope this place can align its ethics and products to become a fully cruelty-free establishment, as it has excellent potential.

Came across the café purely by chance and what a find, lovely vegan food and great service. Our son had a severe nut allergy and they carefully went through what he could and couldn’t eat. I love cheese but have had some concerns about Vegan cheese but the sandwich I had which was a toasted cheese and pesto one was absolutely delicious and was served on charcoal bread which again I have never had before. So to sum up great food, excellent service some experience I have never come across before. Thank you

Perfect little cafe in a perfect location. All staff are so lovely. Food was a bit salty to our taste, but omg the flavours are so amazing! Good value for money. It's nice to see fresh ingredients and good quality salad etc. Excellent choice of food and cakes. The cakes are divine! We will be back for sure!

Great vegan cafe , The breakfasts we ordered were beautiful . I chose the smashed avocado on black bread , and my partner opted for tofu bacon in brioche bun . Both cooked beautifully . Service was great .

This place is absolutely delicious, we went two days in a row! Lovely, freshly made food, and a brilliant (very extensive) selection of delicious vegan dishes and treats. The cherry kombucha is a must-have, and every dish we tried was a winner. A must-stop place for anyone visiting Stratford-upon-Avon!

We call it the cannabis cafe as they sell a wide range of teas including cannabis tea. Also lots of yummiest vegan food and huge portions of delicious cake.

Great vegan cafe, with a large menu with bigger meals, toasties, salads and more. Extensive drinks menu also, tons of teas, etc. I had a very nice coffee and the shawarma wrap (can't recall what it's actually called!). Lovely balance of textures and flavours. Not a small portion, rather large for lunch haha. Plenty of outside seating if the sun is shining.

I'd been hoping to fit this cafe into my Shakespeare trip, and I'm relieved that I didn't miss it out. I've been to a lot of great food places (especially vegan ones) but in the midst of a touristy city in the Midlands, I found this cafe to be one of the most relaxing places to be. While some of the items appear to be a novelty, that does not mean that they aren't high quality! My rose latte (cappuccino? I just saw 'rose' and bought it) was divine and made me feel fancy, while their popular charcoal bread was used nicely in a cashew and cranberry toastie. The prices are standard, but with the quality of the food I'd say that's actually a bargain! The atmosphere is relaxed and vaguely hipster (for lack of a more modern term) and the staff are super friendly. Most of the seating available was upstairs but if you catch them at a less busy time I'm sure it'd be accessible. Stratford-upon-Avon has some great places to eat, and I'm glad that this is one of the places I invested that limited eating time into!

Love this place when I come to visit family. Tucked away from the busier touristy streets! Portions are huge, I didn't need to eat for the rest of the day! (The charcoal toastie in photo has been cut in half as my mum and auntie found it was enough to share)

Not the largest place to eat in Stratford. However, my friends and I were looking for a tea shop of which there are none in Stratford! We decided to give the Planitarium a try. The service was good, tea, coffee. Cakes not very tasty. I am sure vegans will say something quite different.

They appeared to have upgraded their outdoor seating area but we got turfed out because a new restaurant opened next door and took over the courtyard. We were squashed into a smaller area with the new restaurant remaining empty. Bit daft.

Really fantastic feel like home cafe in Stratford-upon-Avon. I would say its probably the best coffee in town too, Great food aswell the food is delicious and generous portions definitely worth trying the jalapeño Burger if you like spice. Also fantastic selection home made cakes, Biscoff is my favourite. ❤💯
