The staff's service attitude is very good and very friendly! There are many car exhibits to see. Children can drive a toy car around the museum, which is a great experience👍 The food in the cafe is good, and the dining area is spacious and clean. Before leaving, I met the show car xj220 that had just arrived, which was an unexpected surprise😍

Be aware if your disabled, your treated like a second rate visitor. We had evidence due to my partners traumatic brain injury and we answered their questions . The man who served us very unprofessionally asked more probing questions with me having to explain my relationship status to the disabled person and why I am a carer ! Wanting to know what makes me a carer!!!! Disgusting and even after a long drive there . What a total disgrace and they still hide behind system promoted questions - he had not even entered details into the system at that time he interrogated us and then made a call as he didn’t believe us. Only then did he take details when his senior told him we’re ok to enter! What a disgrace

Well worth a visit your ticket allows you to return which I will, so many cars I owned in the past and some I wanted to own but never will. Nice that you can get right up to the cars and look inside but careful not to touch.Well laid out and nice displays of vehicles in main building the other build had an excellent display of Jaguars upstairs was just rows of car while less exotic still worth a look. Very easy to reach off the M40 had a lovely day and if I could take a car home it would be the model t ford first time I seen one up close but a fabulous vintage car for the masses.

The British Motor Museum in Gaydon, Warwick, offers a comprehensive and engaging experience for anyone interested in the history of the British motor industry. Here's a review based on available information: General Impressions: * Extensive Collection: The museum is home to the world's largest collection of historic British cars, boasting over 300 vehicles spanning classic, vintage, and veteran eras. The Collection Centre adds approximately 250 more vehicles to this impressive display. * Nostalgic and Educational: Visitors consistently praise the museum for its ability to evoke nostalgia while providing an educational journey through the evolution of British motoring. * Well-Maintained Exhibits: The cars are generally reported to be in excellent condition, offering a great look at the craftsmanship and design of different periods. * Friendly and Knowledgeable Staff: Many reviews highlight the helpfulness and knowledge of the museum staff and volunteers, who are happy to answer questions and bring the history of the cars to life. * Family-Friendly: The museum is considered a good destination for families, with features like push-along mini cars for toddlers, activity areas, and family trails. The "Under the Skin" interactive exhibit is particularly popular with children. * Good Amenities: The museum offers a café with hot and cold food, a gift shop, and accessible facilities. * Value for Money: Some visitors have found it a bit pricey, especially during peak seasons, but the option to convert day tickets into annual passes is seen as a significant benefit for those who plan to return. Key Highlights and Exhibits: * Diverse Range of Vehicles: The collection includes everything from early automobiles to iconic sports cars, everyday family vehicles, and even cars from film and television (like Lady Penelope's FAB 1). * Jaguar and Land Rover Heritage: A significant portion of the collection focuses on Jaguar and Land Rover, including prototypes and historically significant vehicles used by the British Royal Family. * "Making British Cars" Exhibition: This exhibit explores the impact and future of the British motor industry. * Interactive Exhibits: The "Under the Skin" area provides hands-on displays to understand the mechanics of cars. * Temporary Exhibitions: The museum regularly hosts temporary exhibitions focusing on specific marques, design aspects, or anniversaries. Recent and upcoming exhibitions include "The Gallery 2025" (featuring automotive art), celebrations for the 30th anniversary of the MGF, and events like "Museum on the Move" where members can ride in selected cars. Facilities and Accessibility: * Parking: Ample free parking is available on-site, including designated spaces for Blue Badge holders. Electric vehicle charging points are also available. * Accessibility: The museum is designed with accessibility in mind, offering level access or lifts to most areas. Wheelchairs are available for hire. They also provide a visual story and access video to help visitors prepare for their visit. Baby changing facilities are available. * Café and Shop: On-site facilities include a café serving meals and snacks and a gift shop for souvenirs. * Group Visits and Events: The museum caters to group visits and hosts numerous motoring shows, rallies, and other events throughout the year. It also offers conference and event spaces. Potential Downsides: * Mezzanine Access: The lift to the mezzanine level is reported to be small and might be difficult for full-sized mobility scooters. * Collection Centre Walkways: Not all walkways in the Collection Centre are accessible. * Price: As mentioned, some visitors find the admission price a bit high. Overall: The British Motor Museum is highly recommended for anyone with an interest in cars and the history of British manufacturing. Its extensive collection, engaging exhibits, and family-friendly atmosphere make it a worthwhile visit. The positive reviews regarding staff and facilities further enhance the experience.

This place should be a national institution as it is a must visit venue. Really close to the M40 & next to the JLR & Aston Martin Headquarters. Here you will find the history of motoring & see all the important cars from your youth. Lots of concept cars; first & last off the production lines; film cars & even second hand Royal vehicles! Two separate buildings, one housing the main Museum & the other with all Jaguar cars in it. Take a tour if you can as the guides are a font of knowledge & tell amazing tales. There is a good Cafe upstairs for food & drink. Don't forget to walk around the car park before you leave as there will be some high end cars there, I can guarantee you! A repeat visit is a must.

I recently visited the British Motor Museum and had a fantastic time exploring everything it had to offer. The museum has an impressive and diverse collection of vehicles, ranging from classic family hatchbacks that spark a bit of nostalgia to rare concept cars and fascinating prototypes that show how far automotive design has come. It was a real treat to see the evolution of British motoring all under one roof. One of the highlights of the visit was chatting with one of the museum’s volunteers, Brian. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, clearly passionate about the cars on display. What really stood out was how generous he was with his time—he kept talking with us and sharing stories even after his shift had officially ended, which made the whole experience feel even more personal and welcoming. Brian also gave us a special look into the cars once used by Queen Elizabeth II and Margaret Thatcher. Being able to see these vehicles up close felt like a real privilege, and it added something extra to the visit that we hadn’t expected. It’s not every day you get a peek at that kind of automotive royalty. Brian had a particular fondness for the MG MGF, and it was great hearing him talk about it with such enthusiasm. His insights gave me a whole new appreciation for the car and its place in British motoring history. I’d also like to give a thank you to the other volunteer—whose name I didn’t catch—who spoke to us about the Jaguar E-Type. His passion and knowledge really stood out and added another great moment to the visit. Overall, the experience was not just informative but genuinely enjoyable, and I’d absolutely recommend the museum to anyone with even a passing interest in cars.

A great place to visit for the history of car manufacturing in Britain. Takes you along the timeline of manufacturers, covers racing, including Jaguar F1, many fine examples of the heyday of UK car production. Ideal for families. I recently went to an excellent evening presentation with Ian Callum, who designed many iconic British cars, like the Aston Martin DB7, as well as many others which didn't make production; a very interesting take on car design with anecdotes from motor racing as well. The displays have examples of rarities and prototypes such as the Jaguar XJ 13, X-C75, Vauxhall XVR & SRV , Ronart Lightning, and the incredible Rover-BRM gas turbine Lemans car, driven by Graham Hill, and finished 8th on debut. Close to the M40.

The museum has a well thought out placement of where the cars go - for example, there’s a road round the back of the museum called ‘Time road’ and there are some magnificent cars there going in order from earliest to latest It’s extremely easy to find your way around even without the map because there are giant board-like things on the ceiling with what collection is beneath. The cars are kept in amazing condition and most cars are out in the open with no barriers around them There was a section for: -Ford heritage collection -Design and concept cars -Jaguar (more from jaguar in the other building - the jaguar heritage trust) -Sports cars -Land Rover -Motorsport -Much much more (on the map) The staff there were so friendly and lovely and this guy told us a fun (and surprising!) fact about one of the cars (the big, long pink one) - he told us to get right down on the floor and look under the car, there was a registration plate on the bottom which meant that it was a real car and not a concept! The parking spaces are alright, there is a lot of spaces and decent room for your car to park Overall, I would highly recommend this museum too… anyone really! There’s a lot to learn about the cars themselves that’s very interesting or if you love cars then this is the place for you (the cars there are stunning, trust me)

Many, many vehicles, some presumably preserved as a warning from history. A large selection of Jaaaaaaags to be seen.

They have the best coffee in Southam town centre. Service was a bit slow, but there was a rush at the time. Very friendly.

This is a great pub/hotel with a fantastic chef and a manager running a brilliant business. My husband and I had lunch and it was all very tasty, well seasoned and using local suppliers. This is way above mass produced pub food. The place was busy and customers were all commenting on the quality of the food. It is also very good value. We will definitely be returning!

My son and I have just been to The Bridge for lunch. I can honestly say the food was amazing and so was the service. The staff were so friendly and polite. Will definitely return.
