One of the nicest pubs I've been to for as long as I can remember! Love the fact it's kept it's traditional feel when so many pubs modernise. Not only that, the Thai food is absolutely incredible. Super service as well. Will definitely be back!

Little gem of a pub, we had an evening meal here, lovely atmosphere, dog friendly pub..The Thai meals were so good, Burger and amazing fries for me..We will definitely be back in the near future.

Had high expectations but was very disappointed. The staff were polite and at first service was quicker but thereafter took ages to be served. The Thai green curry fried rice with chicken was delicious. Was soo disappointed with the dessert as it had said it was back by popular demand and so was eager to try it, only two spoonfuls in and I nearly swallowed a strand of long blonde hair, the waitress offered to get me another but who would accept another if the hygiene is very questionable, I did refuse to pay for it which they honoured but no offer of reducing the bill even though they had breached basic food hygiene. Based on the hygiene I would not recommend to eat here.

Absolutely lovely pub. Amazing Thai food and accommodating staff. Food order accurate and requests adhered too. Freshly cooked, amazing flavours and great ingredients. Options for vegetarians, vegans and gluten free. Short walk from the canal, but also a large car park and EV charging available. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We often come to this pub as the atmosphere is always good, the thai food is excellent and very authentic (we have visited Thailand several times so have an appreciation of their food). But more importantly the staff are always fabulous and so understanding. Unfortunately my wife has earl dementia and the staff are so understanding, courteous, and polite they are unbelievable and make each visit a joy. Thank you all. The food is so amazingly authentic and the setting is lovely. Do yourself a favour and go there I assure you that you will not regret it. And by the way "save the Bull" it looks wonderful.

An almost hidden gem, excellent menu choice, which tasted great, good friendly service, and lovely building and interior, with plenty of parking. Value for money.

We were in the area and decided to get something to eat from here, we phoned to book a table as it can get busy. It wasn't overly busy when we arrived and were shown to a table straight away. I had a 'pedigree' to drink which was ok. I had the 'steak & ale pie' which was nice, the chips were ok. The green curry which was also ordered was nice. Overall the place seemed clean, there are signs that some work has been done to the property in some places to improve it. The staff seemed friendly. The food was good. Location is good.

The Thai food is exceptional! I had the best Thai meal here with my family. Very easy to book a table online, even fairly last minute. For the quality of the food I feel the value is good. My 9 year old absolutely demolished the Thai chicken wings, the soy and ginger sea bass is out of this world. We all left empty plates and feeling very satisfied. If only we lived closer we would be here very regularly. The staff were lovely and it had a welcoming atmosphere. I can't recommend this place highly enough. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area. Thanks for a lovely dining experience.

Amazing pub - we had duck spring rolls to start, Thai Green chicken and Massaman curry mains; both were delicious and flavourful! And finished with the caramel brownie with ice cream. We sat outside in the large garden in a shady spot. Overall, lovely experience and we are looking forward to coming back.

I've been coming here for over a year, had one bad experience and rated it one star. Since then it's been nothing but stellar. Even tried booking it under different names. Easily one of the best places for Thai food in the midlands. Even if you don't want authentic Thai food you can guarantee they will ensure you are looked after.

I have visited the Bulls Head pub in Wootton Wawen a few times, and each visit has been fantastic. The Green Thai Curry exceeded my expectations with its rich flavours and perfect balance of spice. Another favourite of mine is the fried chicken wings with sticky rice, which I often pair with the curry for an even more satisfying meal. The pub itself boasts a charming garden, making it a lovely spot to dine outdoors, and there's plenty of car parking available, which is always a plus. Highly recommend this place for its excellent food and welcoming atmosphere!

Great location and food, this place has it all. I had Tom Kha Prawn Soup for starter……15 out of 10 bursting with flavour Aroy Mak. I then had Monkfish Yellow Curry……15 out of 10 outstanding. My Thai wife had Som Tam and Pad Krah Pow which she enjoyed very much. WE WILL BE BACK… Khob Khun Kap

During the journey back with the engine, we saw a lovely picture of a bull on the wall of a building we realised it was a lovely little pub. We managed to swing around and park up next door in the village hall car park. The food in the pub smelt delicious, so we had to have a bite. Very oldie worldly the bulls head is, loverly wooden beams low ceilings (don't bang your head like me and my son did). Staff friendly beer was nice, and the food was well priced on the menu as there were a few Thai dishes that sounded delicious. There is a car park round the back of the pub and benches to sit on out the front. Thank you for finding a table for the 6 of us.

A nice walk from the canal. Thai curry was excellent and a decent pint of real ale made it worth the walk.

If you are missing Asian food, this is the place. Nice ambience, friendly staff, and young and old customers. There are plenty of places to have a cosy chat by the fire or a nice beer garden on a sunny day. Lots of history from the landlord about the pubs past .

There is nothing to not like about this pub, the food and service are always excellent. It’s great that you can combine authentic thai and traditional pub food. The staff are a real credit and are so friendly, attentive and helpful.

Bar area always a mission to get to the bar as its very small not helped by people milling around it.Food is always top draw I had fried chicken wings (which I can't help thinking something could be done to improve) but I'm not a chef.Thai green curry as good as I have in Thailand it self,but the chef is Thai.Been loads of time and will return many more

This is a HIDDEN GEM! Don’t assumed this country pub is like the others you may have visited. Serving authentic and very well priced Thai dishes, it’s understandable why is full of the locals (and a few from a little further afield). Order at the bar, find a seat and make yourself comfy. It has the warm and welcoming feel you’d want from such a venue, with a menu that surpasses expectations. We cannot wait to return and work our way through the menu!

Third visit and did not disappoint once again. I always try to visit when passing through the midlands visiting family. Quality fresh ingredients, creative menu and such a relaxing friendly vibe. Om has created the perfect place in this lovely country village and all the team do their utmost to make each visit a memorable experience. Bravo once again can't wait to return later this summer!

We popped in Saturday lunchtime and were treated to some amazing food and service. It's so nice to be looked after and treated like royalty. Thank you. The food was sublime and very delicious. Lots of contrasting tastes and flavours. So much so, I asked about the Thai green curry fried rice. I'm going to have a go and make it at home tonight but it won't be a patch on what I had in front of me though. We had a special of the day, crispy beef, like Chinese crispy chilli beef, but the Thai style. It was soft and crispy, tasty and so moreish. The star of the show was the coconut milk soup. I think it's called Tom Ka. This pub also serves quality Ales, which are kept nicely as well.

The Bull's Head in Wootton Wawen, a wonderful oldie worldie atmosphere pub and thai restaurant that also has English classic pub food on its menu. I've been a few times in the past and more recently over Easter when I had the best Fish & Chips I've ever had in a pub and so did Millie-may who had the Children's one which she also loved. To finish off we both had some locally made Chocolate Henley Ice-cream of which is one the best around. There are a selection of Real Ales and alcoholic drinks available, but I chose to have a Lemonade and Millie-may had a Hot Chocolate that she also said she loved. The staff were so friendly and helpful and made us both so really welcome. I can highly recommend visiting here if you are in the area. Very sad and annoyed that we came in for a Sunday evening meal at 19.15 on a Sunday to be told that there’s no food orders after 7pm!! Nothing on the website that I could see about that. 😡

25 off my family members from across the UK met for lunch at the Bulls Head and I must say the food and service was excellent I would go far as to say it was the best Thai food I have ever eaten in a pub. This place is well worth a visit.

This is a Thai recipe within an original olde world pub setting. Staff are amazing and the food is equally so. Land lady is Thai and all the staff are incredibly friendly. We live quite locally and now go here often because it's the best in the area! Highly recommended

Called in at two pm on Sunday and asked for a table, we were asked how many people, we said four, then told it was fully booked? . It wasn't as we stayed and observed whilst having a drink. They obviously didn't want to serve us. How disappointing after a two hour walk to get there, food served till five pm apparently.

My husband and I visited on Saturday evening and had the most delicious meal. Without a doubt, this is the best Thai food I have had in the Midlands and we will be booking again soon - it's our new favourite place. Everything about our visit was fantastic; the pub is lovely, a beautiful 14th Century pub which was so cosy and warm, the food was amazing - beautifully presented, generous portions and such incredible flavours, and the staff looked after us very well. The Bull's Head has a really nice atmosphere and I'd highly recommend to anyone that enjoys eating high quality food in a nice pub at reasonable prices. We had the veg spring rolls (excellent!), crispy squid (excellent!), green chicken curry (excellent) and the lamb massaman (again, excellent!). If Thai food isn't for you then there is also a classic pub menu which, judging by the meals being delivered to tables around us, looked equally good.

Had a birthday meal last night and was superb. Been a few times and really should visit more often, absolutely superb everytime I've been.

The food was excellent and the service was very good. It was worth the drive out. I would probably come back and try something different. I had well cooked and tasty fish and chips. Crisp batter and chips with enough crunch.

Great great food and great service and staff friendly and helpful. A pub and Thai? Well it works and so well make a trip you won’t be disappointed if you like Thai. I even said to make the bill out for 20% tip, I think my maths was poor, I notice the waitress only added 10%. Wow

The Thai food is consistently excellent. It's our local, so we eat here often. We also lived in SE Asia for 30 years, so we have some relevant experience. Of course, the pub itself is lovely, as are the staff, mostly young and local as well as competent.

We visited for the first time today - as it was lunchtime we decided to have fish and chips, but are tempted to return for Thai. It was so tasty, kudos to the chef - super. The only (constructive) criticism would be a little more information on how to order (was it table service or order at the bar? No info was given, even when we said we hadn’t visited before to the staff) also when serving food we had to ask for sauces as waiting staff just placed the food and walked away. It wasn’t detrimental, but would have been a 5/5 otherwise.

My partner and I were recommended this place by a friend and it definitely delivered! The food was fresh, hot and full flavour at a reasonable price 😁 ... A smaller chip option at a reduced price would be better for a couple! (Don't judge, they are amazing 🤣)

We were in the area and decided to try this place. We have been past this place a number of times over the years but never visited it. The car park is a good size and was quite empty when we arrived. They had the fires going which was nice as the weather was a bit cold and wet. We were shown to a table straight away. We ordered drinks and food which we shared the thai sharing platter which was good. For the main I had the steak and ale pie which was really nice and would recommend it. The pub is dog friendly. Overall the staff were friendly, the decor is good, the food is really good. This place is worth visiting

Absolutely delighted to find this tasty delicious foods pub. We ordered thai starter for 2, green thai curry, steak and ale pie and fried thai noodles pad thai. What not to like? Nothing...and wish the thai starters portion are slightly bigger...since they were dainty and yummy. Thai sausages, spring rolls and satay chicken were super yummy. Green chicken curry I was hoping the chicken cut in chunkier bit since the one I had too thin and chicken were on the dry side. However the broth was dying for, so authentic and so coconuty. The steamed rice was a bit hard to my liking. Pad thai noodles were delicious too. My husband highly recommended on the steak and ale pie, the pie crusty and so buttery, yet you can found big slices of steak in the pie that was really surprisingly good. We will be back for sure. Thanks for the warm and welcoming services.

Excellent food amd service. I had my usual meal the lamb shank as always superb. The others had fish that that hung over the edges of large plates and was so fresh with thin batter. A real country pub atmosphere.

We booked for 6 people but didn't book thoroughly our 2 grandchildren. The staff were so good moving tables around to accommodate us. Fabulous food Brilliant service and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend.

I haven't used this place for a drink but used it for the takeaway Thai food and unfortunately I didn't take photos of the food but I had the marinated chicken wings and my mate had the lamb shank,a soup,and pork dumplings ( I believe that's what they was called ) the food was very good,well seasoned,well marinated and cooked to perfection will go back Update went in this place again yesterday 17/10/2023 Had chicken wings in a sauce ( didn't look at menu for these lol ) and whole soft shell crabs in batter oh my they was so good £16 approx for the 2 dishes to takeaway will go again

We’ve been to this fantastic pub restaurant many times with friends and family and it never fails to please. Always very busy, but the staff are always polite, professional and efficient. You’re rarely waiting long for anything and, no matter how busy they are, there is usually a couple of table checks to see if you need drinks or anything else. We went here last night with a friend, and we’re going again tomorrow with family (at their request after we took them there for the first time a few weeks ago). Thai food is authentic and excellent (I’ve never had English food there but I’m sure it’s very good) and they always have a couple of real ales on draught too (I can recommend the Wainwrights ale). Highly recommended.

This really is an excellent village pub. The food is superb, we’ve never had a bad meal and it’s matched by the staff and service. The Thai food is amongst the best I’ve ever tasted. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area.

We visited this pub shortly after it changed hands a few years ago . The owners wife is Thai & did the cooking. It was great food. Fast forward a few years & tbe food is just as good . It’s now a permanently fully booked restaurant & im not surprised it’s still amazing. Really decent sized , flavorful portions, buzzy atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!!! It was beyond yummy

This is a pub offering British fare as well as Thai. As Thai chefs are employed here, authentic Thai dishes are produced with a range covering fish, seafood, chicken , prawn, beef, vegetables, different rice dishes etc, As the food is prepared to order there is usually a wait of twenty minutes or so, however the food is piping hot and the service in our opinion cannot be faulted gratuities are not added but are left to the customer's discretion

Words fail me. This was like an out of body experience. The atmosphere was warm and the staff super friendly. We had a beautiful window corner table with luxurious seats. We started with mixed starters which we all shared. Clean plates all round. When my ox cheek curry came, which is an old Thai traditional curry ( a cross between yellow and green curry) it blew my mind. It's beyond a traditional curry it's a classic. Served with jasmine rice. My partner had a proper homemade green curry that was like nothing I've ever had. I'm told that the head chef worked in the Dusit thani in Bangkok which was a Michelin restaurant back in the day before they knocked it down. Their loss is the Bulls Head gain. This is not to be missed.
