Two burgers and one drink cost £20! Goodbye Burger King, I'll never eat your food again.

Cold food extremely watered down coke could not go back to complain as I back on motorway Burger King used to be the best place for a burger alas standards has slipped or show I say fallen off a cliff!

Got food poisoning from here today, never seen my husband so ill- tried calling but no answer and voice mail was 'full' so couldn't leave a message. Literally the only place we ate today, got extremely sick shortly afterwards

Ordered 44 meals here on Monday 1st July for a school trip returning home. Exceptional service all round, polite and cool under the pressure of such a huge order that shut down the restaurant! Highly recommended and thank you to the kind staff, from the staff and students of Christleton High School, Chester.

Typical highway Burger King. Complete menu, plenty of seating, very friendly service. Set as ordered. I left happy and full!

Awful Aberdeen Angus burger, not cooked properly, the meat had a dull gray appearence. This is their top of the range meal. The female member of staff was doing all the work and still had a smile for the customers. The 2 male staff on the till appeared to have a no care atitude. I always try Burger King as a change from McDonalds, but I am afarid to say I made the wrong choice this time and it will be a while before I have enough confidence to try BK again. I guesss this is a franchise opertaed by Welcome Break? Well, they too need to up their game. Both companies need to invest in their staff, pay them better and treat them with respect. No doubt the managers of these companies drive around in fancy big cars wagging their fingers at the poor underpaid and under valued staff?

We had been on a long trip so decided to stop here and wished we had not. Hadn't eaten a burger king for a few years and just fancied one. Staff were unprofessional and larking about and to add insult to injury we were vomiting after an hour or so after eating here and felt very ill. The only reason I did not complain was that we felt too ill for 3/4 days. I definitely think that the food must have been undercooked and we had food poisoning from it.

Poor sulky service and when food was finally served it was cold no wonder there was no queue and everyone was waiting for KFC next door wish I had done so

Stay away from this BK, unit is disgusting and food is always not prepared right, I’ve had cases of food poisoning from this place as I use the motorway daily, burger buns are left out @ room temp 24/7 in walkway behind unit which you can see thru staff door! food is Bad. In addition staff manager called Helen was very rude whilst I placed my order. Do not reccomend

Food great but sort out the self ordering screens. We tried 3 screens so frustrating so went to other food outlets then decided to go back and order at the till. You are lucky we came back.

Do not buy food from here, you will regret it instantly. Cold and tasted stale, I wouldn’t feed the food to my dog. Oh, and their staff are incredibly rude. Will definitely not be visiting again.

had no cold drinks, not sure if it was intentional but my burger was purple inside? never had that before. burgers falling apart and just thrown together, cold food. pretty normal for burger king

Poor staff attitude on this visit.. lots of negative vibes ,,, a staff chat from counter to back/side room was not appropriate, apparently duplicate receipt was not possible although mine was missing its important information,,,,try better

20 minutes waiting for a simple cheeseburger, it's not a fast food

Don't do the in app offer codes at this Burger King, disappointing. Whopper was cold and cheese bites felt like they had been sat there a while (dry and cardboard-y). Fries were fresh and were very nicely done.

£13 for a large meal and it came with half a small chips. Absolute joke.

Strongly not recommend the whoppers burger they only give 1small slices of tomato and just 2 pieces of veg and I have 3 meals they only give 2 chips I only find out when I got home I know they try to save money but this is not Burger King standard so my advice is eat something else you get more for your money

found a real chicken nugget in my vegan nuggets. it was definitely meat as it had veins in it and tasted extremely different from the vegan ones. luckily i spat it out before i swallowed. not impressed at all

Wouldn't take my order as I was paying by cash. But their loss as had to go to KFC who was happy to take cash. Loss of £45 to them.

Supposed to be open till 11pm. Get there at 10pm and the staff refuse to serve us as they are leaving early! Absolutely ridiculous

Slow, and food didn't seem fresh.

Such long wait times when busy. Had to cancel order after waiting 20mins and still at least another 20 minutes to wait. Also had sold out of all veggie options and hot drinks.

There is a lady in the burger king who is really rude and I mean really rude..total disregard for customer service ... does not know how to speak to people even on a basic level.she needs to go back to training and learn how to communicate and then we can hope she makes it to a professional which I very much doubt...her attitude was really bad and i don't want to think she was racist but it did seem like it .

Due to Covid-19 you have to use the self service tills. Service is incredibly slow due to not enough staff. Took 10 mins to get 1 cup of tea. Not COVID safe due to everyone waiting around the desk for their food as they are so slow.

Burger king need to start having microwaves dotted about. Got 1 burger had a bite and it was cold, took it back and got another one within 30 seconds, bit into that one and it was colder than the first one. Took it back and got a refund, just what you need after a 7 hour drive. Staff wasn't that bothered by it either. Avoid at all costs.

Rude, rotund lady with short hair working on the front till area - she’s old enough to know better. Didn’t acknowledge me or respond to a word I said. How do these people get jobs in customer service?

A top garage owned by the most helpful, friendly, enthusiastic people!

Staff seemed somewhat drained, but overall, the service was good. Stopped by to get petrol and stomach fuel, but one of the staff forgot to put the burger in my bag , thankfully they were very helpful and even offered me a refund, and the staff member who misplaced the burger even went into the back to make sure I got the next one, and it was even nicer than usual. Oddly enough, a really nice experience, one of the only two times I've ever met such friendly BK staff.

The gentleman who first served us was very helpful and lovely - apologies don’t know his name - a foreign gentleman. Very helpful as the self service machines were down and he helped with our order. We were then greeted with the ‘shift manager’ Helen, who gave us our food. Rude and arrogant are pleasant words to use in this situation. I Said hello to here no response back, just a scowl. I then asked for some additional condiments which was huffed at. Though she didn’t deserve it I said thank you again with no response. She did not utter a single word in out interaction. - I’m not one to pull the race card but it seemed that as we were slightly beige conversation ceased, but she was talking to her colleagues perfectly fine before we came. Shame as the first gentleman should be the shift manager.

Typically very good service in my experience with food ready quicker than many other Burger King restaurants I have stopped at.

Just been to Burger King as stopped off for a loo break and got served by konagh he was such a lovely young man and was so polite you could tell he was busy but still made us feel welcome and fluffy will return here again and hope he is working next time thanks konagh 😘 xx

i advise not to buy fries from this branch. Staff in the branch was buzy closing. i told Jimmy (assistant manager) the fries have smell like a cleaning agent upon which he gave me every excuse in his book to tell me i dont know what i am talking about, instead of offering refund/replacement. I ended up going KFC and buying their fries, extremely disappointed with the service.

Guy on front counter is ace (young guy, stubble) really friendly and doing 3 people's jobs while the manager is no where to be seen. The front of house staff really need some support from their management team.

Feel bad for the team here as the review is heavily influenced by the on-screen ordering, not the food or service from the team. But you start with the ordering process, and it affects the rest of the experience. BK developers, the on-screen interface is diabolical (Oct 19). You've forgotten that the primary purpose of the screen is to buy food, not upsell it. If I want a tea, I want a tea. Not a large tea. And when I don't want a large tea, don't take me back to the main menu. Just abominable. Takes too long, is too frustrating and makes many punters give up and go to KFC or Subway next door. BK developers, just watch people try and use your terminals. Too many people walk up to the screens, waste their time and give up. Food ok though. Just too difficult to get hold of.

Rude staff and manager! I asked if they did the app and the manager bluntly replied no and then did not serve me.. I was waiting there for a few minutes until he decided to serve someone else. Ridiculous.

Don't like burger king since they sold us a mouldy burger bun. Then had the cheek to ignore us when we complained. They did not like us when we stood in the middle of the shop showing what we had been sold. They suddenly lost a lot of customers. I have never been back.

Visited here on a long road trip. A whopper meal deal please, do you want cheese and bacon, yes please, do you want it large, no thanks. And a cheese burger meal please, do you want it large no thanks. Sorry no milk shakes today. Paid, thought that sounds a bit much. Meals arrived fifteen minutes later, BOTH large that's why it's expensive. No bacon on the whoper. Complained had to wait another five minutes for a replacement. Loads of bun very little burger. next time a drive to the next services and have a big Mac

I'm just writing this review because Google asked me how Burger King was, and claimed I visited it? I haven't, but since Google asked, it looked OK as I walked past it.

Simply awful tbh. Long wait for poor quality food and abrupt service. Only saving feature is being on the ground floor.

Very busy at peak times, but there are sufficient numbers of hard working staff to make sure you don't wait too long for your food.

Took over 30 minutes to order 2 burgers on a football away day, price was ridiculous, not tasty. Staff weren't bad, just a lack of staff.

Easy access, good seating nearby. Standard BK with no surprises - just what you would expect.

More expensive than other food chains but when you try their selection of food ,well worth it.

Queue due to one staff severing

What a let down.... Haven't stopped here for a few years, always was a tidy carpark and entrance and you could use the toilet but not now......

Staff were really friendly and helpful, they apologised for the wait although I thought the service was really fast, and the food was great :)
