Absolutely brilliant, great food,great atmosphere, being part of a birthday party and meeting up with some old friends I haven't seen for years 👍🎉👍🎉👍

Good atmosphere, pleasant helpful staff. Just one point, hunters chicken should be a breast of chicken (as advertised) NOT just the tiny fillet from beneath the breast. Delicious all the same. We shall return.

Thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch. All food was fresh and tasty. We were made very welcome, and service was great.

New landlord has taken over...Jason I've been here on a few occasions for work but never on an evening.. yesterday was an eye opener to how nice the garden and covered areas are at night.... I love coming down to the pub now! The new owners & manager Matt have brought a breath of fresh air to the village. The food is top notch. Food was good but wait was far too long, waitresses did their best to make sure we were happy and gave us a free round was nice. But when it came to paying the bill, the deals we were promised were seemingly pulled from under us. New manager's attitude was absolutely dreadful, making me feel like I was a problem, claiming the T&Cs were on the menu but they were not. We asked specifically to make sure that the burger night meal would be honoured before ordering. There was no need to make a relaxed meal out into a confrontation! As a local, I will make a point not to return and to tell everyone we know to avoid. Such a shame as the waitresses were lovely.

Met a friend here for lunch this week. Really great value lunch menu aswel as normal menu to choose from. The fire was roaring and lovely to sit by and warm up in January!! Staff so friendly and attentive. Food was yummy and great size portions. Whilst we didn't use the garden this time it looked a great area and cool play area for children. We will definitely be back!

We were served Dawn and had a fantastic experience. Dawn was very professional, friendly and made us feel very at ease from start to finish. We had the Sunday roast. The food was fantastic, we couldn't believe the amount of food we had on our plates. We did also have dessert which was also very nice. The service was spot on. Dawn went above and beyond and she couldn't do enough for us. Thank you for a fantastic experience. We will be back again soon.

We went with our two friends at lunchtime and we all enjoyed our meals. We were served by Emma who was very attentive and friendly. The only negative was that the room although comfortable and welcoming was quite cold. We have been here on a number of occasions and have always enjoyed our food and visit.

We recently moved to the area and are always on the hunt for dog-friendly eateries. We’ve been to the Butcher’s Arms a few times now and are always greeted warmly by the staff. They’re always happy to accommodate us and our Pomeranian and Pomsky. Dog treats, water, and some extra fuss are always a hit. It’s a cozy little pub with delicious, affordable food, attentive staff, and a great atmosphere. It’s definitely one of our new favorite places to eat out!

It was packed when I went, but that probably had something to do with our group of 30 plus. Staff were great, food was good, beer was good.

Great Christmas lunch, they went out of their way to accommodate a party of 12. Must return for a Sunday lunch with my wife.

Dropped by for the first time on the way back from holiday as we really fancied a pie and chips. Went for the steak and ale pie and the turkey and leek special pie. Also added a kids fish fingers and chips on for £1 which was actually proper batters fish goujons cooked fresh rather than frozen stuff. Food was amazing and they had a good selection of beers on tap too. Will come back again and try the Sunday roast.

Dog friendly and human friendly. A real pleasant place to eat and drink

The pub was very grubby and the fish was very bland didn’t have any flavour at all. Portions sizes were not very large. The service was quite slow, about 30-40 minutes for very mediocre quality food. It wasn’t that cheap either cost the two of us £40 and only I had a dessert, didn’t have any alcoholic drinks or anything like that.

Just called in for a drink. First time have been there. My daughter told us about it. Lovely place.

Our first time visiting this pub from recommendations on local Facebook group. We had Sunday lunch. We both chose beef and we really enjoyed it. Lovely tender beef, great roasties and nice selection of fresh veg and a good yorkie pud. Service was very friendly although a tad slow for our mains to arrive (35 mins from ordering). The only thing I would say is it would be nice for table to be set up ready with cutlery and salt/pepper, rather than them arriving loose in a big wooden box that the table had no room for. Just a little suggestion though and it certainly wouldn't stop us returning or recommending. Will try other food too on our next visit. Thank you 😃

July 23 Had a lovely meal here on Sunday. Some of our party were running late but they were very understanding. Food was plentiful and really good quality. Will definitely return. Thank you June 24 visited again on a Monday night again service and food top quality.

We went here following a nice country walk and stopped for lunch which was very good.

How did you delete my review? Anyway, I remember calling in here a few months ago..... Brian said "the kitchen is closed" when it was 20 minutes to kitchen closing time. We were only asking for a couple of burgers as well. He rudely and very condescendingly confronted my friend who is on meds for epilepsy about it by re-iterating "don't you understand?" and "don't you GET it" more than once, emphasising GET to infer my friend is stupid. My friend had to suffer arrogance and poor awareness skills. My friend is very aware that :40 is 20 minutes to go, and that a couple of burgers is a very quick easy order. People with disabilities like diabetes can really be hammered by pretending food is available when it isn't. Also when you are on meds you get very aware of people being rude but your drugs are slowing you down... You can understand and feel the awful feelings acutely, but you can't speak back, you just have to take the abuse and leave with it churning in your head. Landlord is a public facing position Thank you

Had a family Sunday Lunch here and it was fabulous. Starters, main & sweets have a good options and were delicious.

Always a pleasure to stop here on the way home from watching Eastleigh FC away, Brian and the team are great, if you haven't been, you've missed out!

We had a quick lunch here from the lunch menu. It was cheap & simple. The bacon in BLT was extra crispy, & the chips were nice. The pub was dog friendly in places. The toilets were clean & adequate. The garden looked nice.

I like the Butcher's Arms. It's a friendly, down to earth local with a great atmosphere and a reasonable selection of beers. The Butcher's offers fairly typical 'pub grub' but of a much higher quality than offered by many others.

Stumbled across this gem of a pub whilst driving through the Warwickshire countryside. Lunchtime visit, had the mac n cheese with garlic bread. Lovely food, hit the spot. A delight of a country pub and staff were ultra friendly. Dogs welcome in the bar and they have a lovely garden for summer evenings. Wish i lived nearer.

Great little village pub just off the motorway

So we have lived here for nearly two years and NEVER knew the Butchers had an open fire as we had never seen one lit - arriving on a freezing Tuesday eve (stretching out my birthday weekend 😁) I realise (studying the fireplaces) they they do in fact have a fire. We sat, had a drink and we were cold . So on asking the bar girl she said sure we will get it lit for you. OMG - ONE HAPPY COUPLE X

Had a lovely meal at the Butchers Arms.

Must try their mushroom pie. Really yumm. Never had such yummy pie anywhere else. Food is good. Having said that, the service was really slow. We booked our table for 6.30pm and we were attended at 7 pm. Starters served at 7.45pm and main course at 8.30 pm. Really disappointed 😞 A good 3 hours. If you are planning to come with family try booking it earlier or even get the food ordered prior over the phone.

Nice cosy county pub , plenty of locals , nice friendly atmosphere, good choice of ales, larger's and spirits . Had a Sunday roast , it was simple yet tasty , nice yorkies plenty of side veggies and jugs of gravy for us all. My Beef was a little overdone for me but it was tasty and tender . My wife, mother-in-law and daughter enjoyed their meals , it's also very reasonable when you compare it to many other places in the area, Worth a stop .The Young lads that served us were pleasant and helpful. And the open fire was lovely and warm . All in all a nice pub. Would I return , yeah I probably will when in the area.

A very nice local pub. Kid friendly that serves food til 16:00ish. They have a nice variety of beer and snacks too. There were enough tv’s throughout, so you won’t miss any of the sports action! Parking is good and there is also a little outside area for the good weather. A very nice cosy pub.
