Starbucks in Stratford-on-Avon

Absolutely brilliant service and super quick making of coffee. Coffee tasted fab. Looks like a family running it and they were so lovely!!!! The man even gave my daughter a complimentary cup of cream which made our road trip, so kind!

6 people and only one doing coffee and they were slow, 3 barista machine one being used painful. now that person has moved to the till and no one is making the coffee

Staff sitting on phones, not a clean table, chair or floor, 3 staff, floor filthy. Toilets passable. No motivation or enthusiasm. As a soft FM Ops Manager I would be mortified if this was my team.

Disinterested staff with no people skills. Didn't ask if we were sitting or taking away so assumed take away and charged for the cup.

Stopped at Warwick at 21.30 to get some coffees and cakes to keep me and my sister going on a cold wet night. Member of staff took the order, but seemed stumped when I was paying half by cash and half by card. Not usually an issue when I've paid for goods like this in the past. We had our own cups but I had to remind her of the second cup needed to be handed to who ever was making the coffee. Second cup eventually arrived. I then had to ask where my cakes were. "What did you order?" The member of staff asked. He the proceeded to stuff them into one bag, which wasn't big enough for them. I asked about serviettes. He didn't know where they were. The four members of staff seemed too busy talking amongst themselves to be bothered about customers. It felt like a group of school children playing at "Shop". I also question why the seating area was closed as they were still open when we left 20 mins later. If you don't want people sitting in the Starbucks area, why have that bit open? Wouldn't it make more sense to open the Starbucks in the main serving area. In short I was really disappointed. I have stopped here regularly and never had such a poor service. Perhaps they need closer supervision.

We were the only two customers at the Starbucks counter, six members of staff behind the counter, a couple cleaning, the others chatting amongst themselves. We stood waiting to be served for approximately five minutes, the staff knew we were there but ignored us. “ANYBODY SERVING’ my partner called out, they looked at us and finally one came over and took our order, no apology for the wait. We ordered two coffees and then waited again while they performed the coffee making pantomime which took another ten minutes. The two coffees they made were horrible and should have been returned to them however by the time we realised we were back on the motorway. Won’t be going there again.

The services were busy so we decided to go to Starbucks drive thru as it was quiet. The standard of hygiene in the toilets (mens, ladies and disabled) was an absolute disgrace. No soap, toilet paper and overflowing bins. The slippy floor hadn’t been cleaned for some considerable time. The tables were clear but hadn’t been wiped. Staff were not interested in resolving the problems when I mentioned them. Not even an explanation or apology. My husband had already ordered coffee whilst I used the facilities so I was too late to suggest we go to the services. Will not be calling here again.

On the last 3 occasions ( within 2 weeks) I’ve had to bang on the windows to open up, it states 5:30am opening yet again the staff are messing about in the back!! Why is it that these baristas feel so offended to be told it’s not acceptable to keep customers waiting outside like second class citizens

If the staff weren’t so busy flirting I may have got my coffee quicker and of a better quality. The person on the till was quick to give me the cake I ordered but I had to wait a long time for the coffee. For starters it had way too much syrup in and the time I waited for it was ridiculous all because the staff members were too busy flirting over who would put the ice in and who would get a lid. Will not be coming here again, would not recommend.

Coffee hoppers were empty, the restaurant was dark, dingy and dirty; and the staff were rude. I didn't get asked my name when I placed my order, nor a thank you for my order. I handed over my Starbucks card to collect points and the lady behind the till very obviously didn't know what to do with it. One of the baristas asked her what she was doing and took over. My receipt says I was served by someone of a different name to the barista's badge of the lady that was serving me. The Manager/Supervisor behind the counter was busy filling in her 'afternoon jobs' list rather than directing the baristas as to what they should be doing (cleaning tablets, filling hoppers, cleaning counters, restocking etc).. I definitely won't be recommending this to anyone and will not be returning!

I found the staff very rude when I stopped on a long journey. It was hot and I wanted an iced coffee - they made me some very bitter/disgusting slop in a flimsy cup which spilled everywhere in the car and was undrinkable. Dont waste your money

Stopped for a coffee at Starbucks at Warwick Services earlier today. The coffee was as expected and the young girls serving were pleasant and efficient. However it must be the most depressing , dark, dour and dirty location I have been to some time. The place had a few people in; the furniture looked tired and old fashioned and I couldn't find one clean table.  I sat at the one I believed had the "least" mess on it and may have been wiped in the recent past. There were plenty of flies darting around, it was a hot day. Surprising a big name like Starbucks would let one of its places look like this. Certainly wont be going there again.

Service was so bad! They were so rude! Clearly on a power trip because they can tell you to stand on a green spot! Costa is 2 mins away will go there from now on! Drinks weren’t even right!

Well the girl who made my coffee is just rubbish. I asked for a white choc mocha two pumps of hazel nut, not only was this wrong the first time it was handed to me when I asked her to correct it she still couldn’t get it right. Not impressed.

On Thursday 27/02 I stopped when the light was going down for a break in my journey on the M40 motorway in order to have a coffee. I asked for a double espresso. The cost was over four pounds. But then? The young lady who served me took my money and then disappeared behind the coffee machines and my coffee appeared a few minutes later. I have an Italian Gaggia coffee machine at home and I grind my own Lavazza beans in a Peugeot grinder so I think I know a bit about coffee. My coffee that evening tasted like a cheap instant coffee. I was in a hurry and there did not seem to be a barista around so I just left in disgust. My advice to anyone wanting to buy coffee at Starbucks at the south bound Warwick services on the M40 is - DON'T.

A year since we were here last, and still good coffee in a clean environment. Prices steep - £6.30 for 2 (not large) coffees.

We had a quick stop here and had food and drinks. All good enough and filled a gap. Toilets so busy I had to walk across to use the services toilets! Seating area outside which was nice in the sun.

Coffee at £310 listed on the board. Then it's £315 at the till. 5p extra for a cup. How else you going to drink it. Never ever will we set foot again in a Starbucks!

Live 5 mins from here. They now have one on the North side so they must be making money......... They could make a lot more. I am the perfect customer - unlimited budget working from home but need to pop out and meet people etc....

Stopped for travel break. No facilities for people with dogs. Large fenced yard at front which could be suitable but no access to it unless through the main entrance which bans dogs. Did find a few dirty benches to side but immediately under the extraction...

This review is for Starbacks warwick south located in the warwick services (M40). We stopped here for a quick break enroute to London. It was not very busy when we came, service was quick and efficient.. Coffee was strong, just the way we like it.

There was no queue when ordering our coffee and the staff were pleasant and smiled. The coffees we ordered were decent quality and the pot of milk we asked for was hot. Clean tables.
