The best restaurants in Stafford West Midlands

Confusing lunch experience. Table and chairs very dirty. Ordered a sandwich. After getting back to the table waitress asked if we'd ordered a sandwich, confirmed we had. She said she'd go and ask the chef to make it and we should go to the till for a refund? Sandwich then came. Waitress came back and said forget the refund because we had the sandwich?! We didn't ask for a refund in the first place? They then tried to bring our the same sandwich again.

Must of changed owners or the chef, the food is usually 10/10 but today what a shambles , no flavour at all, I mean at all , they usually put king prawns in the puree but today was normal small prawns and totaly different to normal which screams new chef , I will never eat here again was a good takeaway what a shame can't be sending people unflavoured food like that man do not eat here people shambles I mean no flavour at all at all close down 👇

Throughout our time at The Wayfarer all Staff were very polite and attentive. Our most delicious food arrived quickly. The restaurant was busy and had a lovely atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our family celebration. We love the Wayfarer and will definitely return.

I haven't been there, for quite a long time and needed a place to catch up with friends, so we chose the King's Horse. The food was lovely and we all had a great time. However, today me and my friends have received a parking charge notice of £100!!!! We are fuming 😤 I have never,ever been to a pub and got charged a fine for parking in their car park!!! The letter states there is signage, but we never saw and would expect not be allowed to park there, for the time we did! Staff should make customers aware!!!! Absolutely ridiculous and shall be posting on social media! We will NOT be returning there again!!

Arrived, eventually got greeted and seated, then got completely ignored for the next 20 minutes before giving up. Can't comment on the food but not a great experience, especially given that we were there with tired children in need of their dinner and seeking the convenience of a restaurant next to our hotel.

With no booking four of us turned up at this restaurant which was fully booked. However, a table was found if we could be finished in one hour. With this promise excellent meals were delivered promptly and much humour.

Come in late to have a few pints and Finn and Jay were lovely, food was fantastic and cheap and all serviced was with a smile and a wave 🤪

The Three Crowns, its been a pleasure. Nearly as good as The Anchor Inn in Coven Wolverhampton. Another fantastic place. Mark. You're handsome!
