Great Wall in Stafford

The cost of having a "coffee" is now an amount that is not insignificant.... So to only get just over half a cup is really disappointing. (I haven't had any from this yet)

The staff here set the highest standard for drink quality of any Costa coffee shop I have ever visited. They should be passing on their skills to other shops.

The hotel team were amazing from start to finish and made sure we had the perfect afternoon tea party for my 90 year old mum. Everything was wonderful. We were overwhelmed by how fabulous the room and china table settings looked and all 56 guests said how fabulous the food and service was . The people with special dietary needs said they’d never been so well catered for as well. The team on the day were quietly efficient and professional and so quick to address any glitches . We are so pleased we chose this hotel to hold this milestone event for mum . We did look at a large number of venues before opting for this one. We will be recommending it far and wide as will, I’m sure , all the guests who attended.

Been to this chip shop a number of times and we loved their chips. We called yesterday and drove out of our way to get a takeaway from them. I ordered chips with what I was told was cheese and potato pie! So we ordered x 2 pies with 2 chips for 11 pounds. Oh my Ghosh what a shock when opening then, we expected their usual high quality, which is nice big tasty chips but instead it looked like mainly bits of chips and lots of bits of batter. We are both vegetarian so wasn’t happy to get lots of pieces of batter. If I wanted batter I would have bought a fish!! Then on biting into the pie, expecting to taste cheese and onion, it was cheese, potato and leek and I don’t like leek. The pie ok, it was a mistake but the chips I was totally shocked at how poor the standard of chips now is. I certainly won’t be recommending their chip shop again and definitely won’t be going there again.

Confusing lunch experience. Table and chairs very dirty. Ordered a sandwich. After getting back to the table waitress asked if we'd ordered a sandwich, confirmed we had. She said she'd go and ask the chef to make it and we should go to the till for a refund? Sandwich then came. Waitress came back and said forget the refund because we had the sandwich?! We didn't ask for a refund in the first place? They then tried to bring our the same sandwich again.
