Costa Coffee in Stafford

It was a cold and wet day when I went the other day and the doors were permanently open. Everyone was wearing coats. I went to do some work but after a while I went to a Asda it was too cold.

Never felt as uncomfortable in my life I went in with my friend and little ones for a coffee (1 year old and 3 month) everytime one of the babies made a noise not even a cry the 4 individuals on the back seats would make a sigh then started shouting/swearing at the kids. Lovely staff but bad atmosphere if you've kids please avoid because I wouldn't want anyone to feel the way we did after what we would of thought would be a lovely hour out for a coffee.

Went in Sunday for a treat. Its the best hot chocolate I've ever tried

Popped in for breakfast this morning with my tribe friendly staff and nice relaxing atmosphere Food was served in without much aof a wait.

Same as any other costa - nice coffee and good service.

The male barista with dark hair, (I think his name is Luke) is brilliant and so friendly. The whole team work tirelessly all day every day. The only downside to this place is hearing some customers be so rude to the staff... Have some respect when queuing and ordering.

I came in last night and was served by Luke. Who depsite issues that were occurring, worked hard to make the best hot chocolate! Then to my surprise, I came in today and saw him again and was met with another amazing hot chocolate!

Misrible staff. Poorly managed. Staff tutting, eye rolling and generaly seemed annoyed to serve. Slating the business staff and how busy it is infront of customers. Never had a smile with service here. Always messy and dirty aswel. Next costa is miles apart. Busy but happy clean and provide a good customer service

Nice coffee but shame about staff attitude towards customers and in front of customers it was bad It was like talking to a grumpy teenager I ordered a latte and 2 hot chocolates to be taken out and the attitude I got was "so you want Medium then" with a real grumpy looking face and I was asked if I was taking out or staying in I said taking out the girl who was serving the drinks started putting it in a glass mug I mentioned I was taking them out and the look I got was awful if looks could kill I would be dead there was a stressful bickering going on between the staff over it all. I think that was not the best customer service and not professional at all. It was poor service. Which is why they have got 2 stars.

Friendly staff always pleasant. All areas are always clean and tidy. Coffee is made perfectly.

Nice little coffee shop at the side of the Riverside shopping centre. Relaxed atmosphere and had no trouble ordering a customised drink. Coffee Frappe with Extra Shot.

The only downfall was had a pushchair and wheelchair so was very cramped up in a corner but still in the way of other users trying to buy their food. But other than that lovely shop

Another business that doesn’t want you to pay with cash. I was asked if paying cash please pay with the exact amount as they don’t carry change? What a load of rubbish if this is the case I won’t be back. Don’t support companies that don’t want to accept cash. On the plus staff were polite I just lost a little money as I didn’t have change :(

Always love coming here.staff are so pleasant and helpful. Very welcoming. Just had a quick latte- brilliant as always. Had a few issues with flooding during storm so had cordoned off a section .

Normal coffee shop. Toilet should be cleaner.

Love Costa but to expensive with a large family 👪

As with most Costa's coffee is good, M&S tea cakes are the best, but why in Costa's in winter do they have the A/C on? To limit one's stay or for the staffs' convenience.

They sell coffee and stuff, they are good at it. We'll done

Costa is Costa. Coffee good, I think Costa flat white is the best of the coffee shop franchises. Nice location for people watching.

At time of my visit was Monday morning this place was very quite and been welcomed by a gentleman he made a nice cuppa for me he appeared to me he was happy to be working on this place, I did enjoy my visit and cuppa only one down site it’s parking around here, it’s like London no where to park it’s limited to 2 hours at Asda

Visited this costa quite a few times and each and every time I have been served by a man with the name badge 'Joe'. He is so polite, friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble. Even when serving a whole que by himself, he still has excellent customer service. A credit to the company.

Can't sit in Stupid idea of trying to keep everyone safe no one way system in place instead you queue then have to push past everyone to get back out what's the point you might as well just let people sit in.

Popped in to refuel, needing the caffeine. Lady serving extremely happy and friendly. AND the sugar station was clean and filled 👍

Bit disappointed by our service here. Given dirty cutlery still bits stuck on!! We said to the waitress she did not apologise just stormed off. She did not return with clean cutlery. No napkins either. Will go to verso lounge next time

No sugar in the whipped cream, felt to sophisticated for coffee here.

Latte was like warm milk, had to take it back and get them to make it again, the place was ferry scruffy inside looked like it needed a good clean or refurbishment, toilet was disgusting it definitely hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and I won't be returning again

Cardboard straws…. Useless. Cannot get iced drinks up them. Heaven forbid you get a plastic one to go with your plastic cup!!

I'm so impressed with this branch. I placed an order for collection and as I don't know the area well, neglected to double check the location. Luckily the lady greeting knew this was a potential issue and checked for me, and after discovering it had chosen a different location, not only filled my drink order anyway, she also contacted the other store to let them know! Super impressed, this is the sort of customer service that is rare but a delight to find. Thank you again!

We had a good time service with smile with the eyes as they had masks on. Very enjoy able bacon sandwiches and coffee

First time visiting since corona. Walked in and hand sanitiser dispenser didn’t work. A table was being cleaned before we walked in so we decided to sit in and have food. We chose out what we wanted from the fridge and went to the till. The lady told us it was takeout only even though people were sitting in and a table that had just been used was being cleaned. They didn’t offer to heat up my wrap and my milk came by default with whole milk which I don’t drink and have never experienced at a costa before. No greeting or welcoming when we walked in either.

The staff in here made our first shopping trip in months a very good one, so thank you. The man who served us was lovely 😊

Costa coffee Riverside. I asked them to blend coconut oil in my black coffee as I'm on the keto diet and it makes the coffee creamy. The coconut oil was brand new hadn't been opened but they refused to blend it. Starbucks haven't got a problem with blending it for me. I also had to wait over 10 minutes to he served and the shop wasn't even busy I will not be visiting Costa coffee again.

One star is too good really!! It was the worst cappuccino I've every had, more like dish water. I had a toasted teacake and they only toasted the outside of it and not the inside. Won't be trying this one again, will try the other one in the town centre to see whether it is any better

It's a Costa. It serves pleasant coffee and is clean and tidy. It does what it's meant to do. Long waiting times though.

Good place to chill while the wife shops

We called in for a coffee before setting off for home after visiting Stafford to go to the lovely old Cinema, people serving didn't look perticularly clean, Coffee was awful, very slap dash spilt out in saucer, taste was horrible, not the normal lovely taste we are used too. We go to Costa in Sutton Coldfield the costs there is wonderful, staff friendly, coffee gorgeous,and s real pleasure to visit. We won't be going to that Costa again, waste of money.

Only okay as latte could of been a little more hot instead of warm

One star missing for the only milk-free product available - mince pie. No other options there.

Been in a few times recently, the new manager has brought a new positive energy. Really good service and a nice general chat whilst waiting for your coffee, helps improve your morning.
