Happy Meeting Chinese Takeaway in Stafford

All I can say will never use them again terrible

As I was stumbling home rather drunk I suddenly saw the shining light of the Happy Meeting Chinese Takeaway. It is no exaggeration when I say that the meal I received brought me back to the land of the living. The staff were incredibly friendly and even gave me a couple of small extras. I will be making this my regular Chinese takeout!

...very happy to see this place re-open after some time away from the area....this is one of the most consistent kitchen's in Stafford in my opinion...don't be afraid to order something you've not had before..it's all good..😊

Absolutely disgusting, placed order and all the food tasted vile ying chow fried rice had funny smell and tasted horrible, the sweet sour sauce tasted werid the chicken balls was Slimey and rubbery, then chicken satay also had that werid taste and smell. Obviously was all cooked with old oil . Just wasted £38.00 for nothing didnt even eat the food went straight in the bin!!!! Not Happy

Just been here for the first time and honestly regret I didn’t find this place sooner it’s such an amazing taste and the food was boiling hot definitely going back here service was amazing I over paid and she told me I did! I would recommend this all day long people please try you won’t be let down

My partner ordered a takeaway from here 4 days ago...and within 24 hours was extremely ill, suffering with food poisoning... At time of writing, they are still struggling to get over it, and remain very poorly. There is no way on earth we will take the risk to ever order from here again. Do yourself a favour and think twice before you do.

Had a house special curry, which consisted of 4 small slices of pork, 2 king prawns, 2 small slices of beef, 1 piece of chicken and loads of peas and onion bits. Not very good for a house special curry. It seems as though every Chinese takeaway is putting less meat and loads more vegetables in their curries

Only giving it 2 stars coz of the fast delivery, the chow mien was tasteless and you could only taste pepper in it, the chicken balls were well not balls for a start but the chicken inside was chewy, beef in mushrooms was chewy as well and the chips were over cooked, wouldn’t go again the whole family didn’t like it and we just put it in the bin, very disappointing 😞

Ordered as says on the website that they deliver to ST18 and extra £2.50 for delivery which i was fine about, says that there only 5 miles away. So i placed an order online for them to ring 25mins later saying that for an extra £2.50 they will deliver so with surcharge and delivery charge was £5.50 in total if not they won't deliver. Why state on website that u deliver to st18 for extra £2.50 then ring up and say u want more. First time using them and will be the last defantly not using again.

Very good. Decent portions. Tasty. Reasonable price

Absolutely awful, ordered for first time and no-one would eat it! The chicken was watery and rubbery, the sauces were not authentic tasting just powdery watered down versions. Just wasted £23.60 as the lot has now gone in the bin as after calling the take way, they were not interested in resolving or offering a refund. Terrible attitude to match the food.

Mainly Cantonese and some japanese

Food is discusting had food poisoning plus im pregnant and found a strand of hair in my chowmain. Waste of money and journey.. i never recomend going her again 😠😠

The duck was very chewy and dry and there wasn't much of it either. I wasn't really impressed impressed with the seaweed. It was quite tough and also chewy. Poor quality food and a waste of money. Will not be going there again.

Lovely staff. Food is allways cooked to perfection and made in a timely manner.

The food was terrible and I worked there for 8 months with terrible wages. Arguments always broke out between the couple that own it. The work was tedious and sometimes they skipped my pay day or only g!ave me 60% of what i earned!

The third time they have messed up my order! NEVER AGAIN!
