The best restaurants in St Alphege Solihull West Midlands

Been here about 6 times. The manager is excellent, the staff are amazing, the food is very good and they have football screens (no sound) and great craft beers. All in all well worth a visit, keep up the good work. See you again soon ;-)

Really love the food here, and the venue and service is nice but management is very bad, I was charged over £20 for food , drove 30 to find the kitchen was closed and they was not able to process a refund, after many calls , visiting back and email Still haven't got my money back this was 12 months ago. I have given up now after I had contacted the venue several times and even given my bank details to one manager and promised a refund that never came,

A friendly little cafe adjoining The Core in the centre of Solihull. Everywhere was immaculate with very clean cutlery and crockery. The menu was simple but the food was fresh and well presented. Very reasonably price, too. Recommended.

Underwhelming Food was average and if I’m to be honest a little disappointing. We visited on a Friday night - I assume they were very busy - that’s the only way I can explain the food being served up overcooked and a little cold. Otherwise seems like a very popular place.

Birthday cocktails and gorgeous food.. Pork skewers, my friends lamb meatballs were lush 😊 baklava finished me off 🤭

We went with our elderly Grandma and a 10 year old and they were both thrilled with the decor and theme. The manager, Laura, and the staff Sam, Aaron, Beth, Thea and Alfie were all fantastic and really accommodating to our daughter’s needs and those of our relative in a wheelchair. That personal service really made the trip as easy as possible and we all enjoyed it. The food is lovely, freshly cooked and served quickly and with a smile! The brunch menu is nicely varied and the staff also accommodated our special requests. Highly recommended even though it will make it harder to get a table in future!

La comida era deliciosa, el personal es tan encantador y amable, el servicio es rápido e impecable, la decoración es hermosa. Una visita obligada para familiares o amigos!

Wrong food sent n items missing

The starter wasn't nice at all. The ham wasn't nice at all and the main wasn't much better I hate to complain. So we just paid and left. The staff kept forgetting the cutlery when bringing our food and just wasn't very friendly. Complete same as it was for our anniversary

Muy decepcionado con la falta de opciones. Como vegetarianos, ya es bastante difícil encontrar opciones decentes. ¡Fue particularmente frustrante que nuestros favoritos habituales, como la baguette de queso y pepinillo y la sopa de risotto de hongos, no estuvieran en la tienda! La bollería hubiera sido bastante incomestible (la había pedido y luego la sentí a través de la bolsa y era dura como una roca, así que obviamente no la compré!). La excusa del servidor era que los pasteles habían estado fuera desde la mañana - nuestra visita fue alrededor de las 2 : 30 pm y claramente los pasteles no son tan frescos como se les hace creer a los clientes. Una pequeña porción de mantequilla servida con una mini baguette simple, muy tacaña y tuve que pedir más mantequilla. Cubertería de madera propensa a romperse. Ensalada que mi mamá tenía no era una buena relación calidad-precio debido a la cantidad excesiva de hojas, que obviamente son muy baratos para abultar una ensalada para que parezca mejor! El olor unisex de la orina del inodoro y la taza/asiento del inodoro estaban sucios - evidentemente no había sido limpiado o inspeccionado adecuadamente por el personal durante mucho tiempo. Muy desagradable y muy por debajo de los estándares que espera de Pret!

Not up to usual standard, too little black beans

Mis huevos estaban en salsa holandesa con setas y las espinacas estaban frías como piedras. Mi otra mitad disfrutó de su carne fría, así que no puedo decir que sea un desastre total. Hemos estado en este restaurante y otros salones y disfrutamos de ellos, pero esta visita fue decepcionante. Se lo dije al camarero y me dijo que lo sentía, pero que no estaba particularmente preocupado. Supongo que debería haberle pedido que se lo llevara inmediatamente, pero el personal estaba ocupado y yo tenía hambre, mi error fue comérmelo.

Pasó a desayunar después de una carrera de guardería, la primera vez que tenía comida allí. Tuve el desayuno en pan y fue el mejor sándwich que he tenido en años. Por lo que se obtiene comida sabia y el café es de gran valor. Iré de nuevo

Inside the place is clean and tidy , with very nice decor and lighting. We sat outside which is a pleasent space but not as tidy as in side unfortunately. The tables , seats and menu's needed a good clean unfortunately. We ordered food at the bar for 7 of us . The lady who took the order was really not interested in being there based on our interaction. The lack of any enthusiasm and the finger nail tapping while waiting for us to answer an order adjustment (from them being out of stock of an item ) was not a nice experience. My partner was also addressed as darlin on multiple occasions during the order placing . Such a shame as we didn't expect 5 star , just a pleasent interaction. Food was tasty and well priced and enjoyed by all as we're drinks .

Mid afternoon visit - relatively quiet. Good choice of beers. Pleasant decor - some what church like with mainly wooden floor and furniture.
