The Slug and Lettuce, Solihull in Solihull

Inside the place is clean and tidy , with very nice decor and lighting. We sat outside which is a pleasent space but not as tidy as in side unfortunately. The tables , seats and menu's needed a good clean unfortunately. We ordered food at the bar for 7 of us . The lady who took the order was really not interested in being there based on our interaction. The lack of any enthusiasm and the finger nail tapping while waiting for us to answer an order adjustment (from them being out of stock of an item ) was not a nice experience. My partner was also addressed as darlin on multiple occasions during the order placing . Such a shame as we didn't expect 5 star , just a pleasent interaction. Food was tasty and well priced and enjoyed by all as we're drinks .

Absolutely gorgeous place, we had starters which were delicious with a portion of chips which was lovely when you only want a small amount of food which we did & it was great as they had 2 for 1 cocktails which were really gorgeous

If I could give 0 stars I would. We booked the 2hour bottomless brunch, it was awful from the start and somehow managed to get worse. We had to flag someone down to even take our order after waiting 10 minutes. Was just handed a bottle of Prosecco. Then again had to go hunt for our server to order food, which was undercooked and watery. After waiting again. We went to find our server for another drink and was just handed a bottle again. We went for a cigarette outside, I told our server this. When we came back he’d given our table away with 35 minutes left of our time. I have sent emails to the complains department and received nothing back. Complete waste of money to be honest. Far from the bottomless brunch experience promised on the website.

Chelsea was absolutely amazing and made our experience just the bets it could be! She was fast and offered drink suggestions based on our preferences. Nothing was too much for her and for that I will be returning. Without the incredibly friendly and perfect service we received from Chelsea our experience would have not been the same! Visité la babosa y letice justo después de mi 60 cumpleaños, así que sí, todavía estaba de humor de celebración. Tuvimos un regalo a la luz de la luna que nos proporcionó una comida de dos platos. Teniendo en cuenta que esto fue pagado por I. e No un trato en Slug and lechuga. El menú para elegir era muy muy limitado. Teníamos un buen asiento, y yo conducía, así que fue mi esposa la que se benefició de la botella complementaria que nos dieron. (Un poco demasiado si soy honesto. ) Nuestro mayor problema fue usar el vale que tomó siglos para resolverlo. Esta parte la culpo de comprar un regalo (moonpig) no la babosa y lechuga. No fue una queja masiva, pero sí mencionamos que el menú no era genial, y con un gesto de buena voluntad, recibimos un plato de nachos muy sabrosos. Nuestra comida era muy agradable excepto que mi hamburguesa y bollo estaban ligeramente sobrecocinados. En circunstancias normales, habría pedido que se cambiara. Pero nos habían cuidado. Así que no quería armar un escándalo. Esta fue la razón de 4 estrellas y no 5. Mi razón para 4 estrellas. El joven (Jake) que nos estaba cuidando fue más allá de ayudar a que nuestra comida fuera un éxito. Incluso llamando al número de buyagift. Gracias Jake, crédito donde se debe el crédito.

Wonderful service from Jakey. From the beginning of our brunch until the end Jakey looked after us. He made sure we had enough to drink. He kept our drinks topped up.. Service with a smile. What else could you ask for. Also, the food was fantastic, and all plates cleared. I enjoyed myself and I can speak for all our party. Thanks Slug & Lettuce for a great Easter Afternoon. Looking forward to coming back again, and I will definately recommend to my other friends to come here.

Atmosphere was dead but we were drinking at 11am. Chelsea was amazing! Kept the drinking flowing and served me my Jolly hogs perfectly! Bang on babe!

Tomamos unas copas el sábado 5 de abril y cuando nos fuimos me di cuenta de que había dejado mi bolso en el baño de señoras, pero en este punto estábamos en un taxi de camino a casa. Llamé y un colega masculino (perdón por no saber su nombre) revisó los baños, volvió a mí para informarme que había encontrado el bolso y que podía recogerlo al día siguiente. Os podéis imaginar lo feliz que estaba de que se encontrara el bolso y solo quería dar las gracias al colega y a la empresa por alegrarme el día

Yo y mi hermana siempre visitamos este lugar impresionante cada vez que puedo visitar mi casa en East Anglia. Recientemente visitamos esta vez con un grupo de amigos para el brunch ABBA (y para celebrar una boda de amigos próximamente). Nos lo pasamos de maravilla, sentados en una mesa larga, muy bien decorado, y nos cuidaron mucho por el gran Chelsea. Ella (como siempre que yo y hermana visitamos) nos cuidó mucho a todos (éramos 12) asegurándose de que las bebidas fluyeran, y la deliciosa comida llegó a todos nosotros sin problemas. Fue una tarde absolutamente genial, y todos coincidimos en que lo pasamos muy bien. Muchísimas gracias a Chelsea, y por supuesto a Max (bueno decir hola aunque sea brevemente Max ya que estuvo tan ocupado como siempre) Gracias a los dos, además de todo vuestro gran equipo por tan excelente visita. Had several experiences up to now and been great BUT 29/3 was not so good. Certainly didn’t get the abba experience we arrived to an empty table no ‘goodies’ that were on other tables so had to ask for them. Could hardly hear the abba music but thank god for Chelsea who absolutely looked after us what a diamond! She made up for the short fall of the ‘experience’ so was a tad disappointed as it was a birthday treat but Chelsea saved the day thanks Chelsea xxx we made it work !

Great spot for drinks and socializing, but with some mixed experiences. The atmosphere is stylish and lively, perfect for a night out or casual meet-up. The cocktails are well-made, especially during happy hour deals. However, service can sometimes be slow, especially during busy hours, so patience is needed. Food is decent, but nothing extraordinary—more of a place for drinks than a food experience. 🔹 Pros: Great cocktails, trendy vibes, good location. 🔹 Cons: Service can be hit or miss, food is average. Overall, worth visiting for drinks and atmosphere, but manage expectations on service speed!

I did the bottomless brunch on Saturday. I wouldn't recommend it. The food choices were really poor. Seemed to be aimed more at truckers.. Big Breakfast's and Burgers. The food wasn't very nice. Very low quality. The cocktails weren't great. We got bored of them so just stuck prosecco. The service was great though. Staff were very friendly. Still I would avoid.

Went for bottomless brunch for my birthday. One of the best days out I've had. Everyone made it a birthday to remember. The food was incredible, drinks and staff jakey, nat, Alex, Joe and Ellie were all incredible. Coming back ASAP!

Came for a Sabrina Carpenter bottomless brunch, we were served by Chelsea. We were thoroughly impressed by everything, drinks were served promptly and were to spec each time. We had a bottomless brunch here, the first one we had we were very late been seated as the group before us were being difficult with moving on but we had amazing service and Lauren the manager on shift was very apologetic, informed us the time would not begin until we were seated, then ensured we have drinks flowing all night, this was a good event for a group of work colleagues and she made the whole event magical, due to her hospitality I then rebooked 2 weeks later and again Lauren was there double checking we had everything we needed, asked if we were okay, she was amazing. As a hospitality coordinator myself I feel Lauren is a huge assess to yourselves and she is the reason I am not on my 8th group booking with different associates as we haven’t had a bad experience and what could have been was prevented due to Lauren’s professionalism. I would also like to say it’s great value for money and we’re very impressed with the menu options for both food and drink. Came here with my girlfriend and Ellie who served us was brilliant in all aspects. She needs a promotion or a pay rise at the least.

Went the other week with the kids loved the cocktails the service and the vibe. Got to say, manager hardy was quite a looker, he made my slug into a snail iffin ya catch my drift. Bring the gals bring the pals for the number one tourist spot in Solihull.

We had booked a romcom and glass painting themed bottomless brunch..It was then cancelled until the Sunday to which we couldn't attend..So we had just a normal bottomless brunch..I made a small complaint to the manager seeing as we'd booked the themed one specially for two birthdays..The manager Nat and our server Jakey went above and beyond to make our experience a very enjoyable one..Drinks were fab..food was yummy..Will definitely return..10/10 x

Security guys of this Slug is now encouraging racism. We were unsafe last week in an incident happened inside. The owners can check cctv on 8th feb 2025 midnight around 12. Really unfortunate that the employee behaves like this.

Be careful with this pub as this is now turning into racism pub. Literally experienced and security staff also supporting the racism. This is totally unsafe. Been to this pub many times in the past and now feeling unsafe due to the behaviour of security staff.

May you agree or not tonight we had faced an incidence like nightmare, including staff supporting who insulted our friends at the premises after viewing a video even after that they are trying to manipulate it , Very very bad Beaming a immigrant I fell s as unsafe

Shocking! No one asked if we had allergies. My food came out with bbq sauce and this was not described on menu as coming with this sauce, no cheese sauce as described, food came back out second time just two patties and salad, again not as describes on menu, very disappointing as this was a pre paid gift, won’t be returning

I went to this establishment on Saturday 21st of December. And was appalled at the attitude of the staff. This pub is charging customers £1.00 above the list price. I had a pint of guinness which was listed at £5.65 but charged £ 6.65. When I challenged the price was told tha after 7.pm prices went up by a£1.00 for all the drinks. However when I inspected the price list there was no notice explaining this increase. So in my opinion this is eleagal. And deceiving the consumer. I asked to speak to a manager but no one was available. So be warned that if you chose to use this pub you will be charged over the advertised price. Which makes a mockery of having a price list on display in the first place 🤔

We booked the evening bottomless brunch. We had a great time and our waitress Maisy was fantastic - very attentive and efficient. Will be booking again in the new year.

We visited for our works crimbo do. This year ran a lot better than last year. The only criticism that our party had was that there wasn't anywhere to sit and enjoy a post christmas meal drink. We were told seating was available outside, but unfortunately, it was on the Saturday that storm darragh had hit the UK. We took our custom elsewhere and spent the next few hours drinking copious amounts of cocktails - this money should have gone into your tills.

I went with my family to celebrate my daughter's birthday, as we walked in we felt a welcoming and warmth atmosphere, really nice and colourful place, it really feels like being in the south of America. They also provide traditional hats and gadgets to really get into the warm latin atmosphere, we were served by Siyam who showed: good knowledge, solid memory and a big smile, very professional and efficient. The food was nicely plated and really tasty, we really enjoyed it all! Highly recommended.
