Hogarths Hotel and Restaurant in Solihull

I brought my sister in law a voucher for afternoon tea for her birthday. We visited in April 2019 . The service was brilliant and the food was excellent too

Visited for Sunday lunch it was absolutely delicious, service was excellent and the grounds are beautiful. Can’t wait to visit again 👍

Fabulous Sunday lunch at Hogarth, not only was the food excellent but also the restaurant has taken the necessary steps to ensure all diners are safe. Well worth a visit.

Very dissatisfied with the restaurant service this evening. Upon arrival at scheduled slot I was advised my table was not ready so requested a drinks order. I waited and waited but order did not arrive. My wife called the waitress and we requested our drinks order. Whilst we waited in the lobby new guests arrived and were seated and drinks orders taken. They were served and we were still kept waiting. Finally waitress came and advised the gin my wife ordered was out of stock so we ordered another gin. We waited and waited and waitress reappeared to seat us. Our first set of drinks finished but staff members were not attentive. We managed to get their attention to place a second order. Again this took a very very long time time . Staff confirmed they were now out of lemonade. We should have walked out as this was only going to go downhill from here. Service was terrible. The numbers of people in the restaurant was small so not entirely sure why the service was atrocious. Upon receipt of the bill I was discounted 20%, but as a local resident I certainly won’t be rushing back in a hurry. Terrible for a first post lock down meal.

We chose Hogarths for my Mum's 80th Birthday for a meal for family and friends. We had already narrowed our search down to a few reliable options but I have to say from our very first interaction with Hogarths they were absolutely fantastic. The overall package was slightly more expensive than some but included a welcome Bellini and glass of wine per head.They also provided linen, name cards, table plan, centrepieces, cake stand.......it was a very professional operation. The food was exceptional standard - we selected three choices for each course and the quality was fine dining territory all the way. We had one member of the party with very particular food needs and Hogarths prepared a bespoke menu for him which was wonderful. finally in a mix up my daughter forgot to bring food for our granddaughter and immediately the team swung into action providing a kids menu from the Brasserie and she had a beautiful meal delivered with ours (and they even refused to charge for it).The help we had from Sophie and a wonderful young woman on the day (I am so so sorry that I didn't note down your name) was exceptional and we knew we were in good hands and my mum is still talking about her special day.Thank you Hogarths - you left us feeling that nothing was too much trouble and you were amazing.

We had a Lovely Sunday lunch today, there were 4 of us, the food was excellent , great service too. Well worth a visit, highly recommended.

Hogarths Sunday lunch is very good value. £25 for 3 courses. The portions are massive..so big I couldn't finish. Lovely surroundings and clearly is a popular venue for both locals and visitors to the area (like me). I would definately recommend this venue for a nice afternoon in the country

After having our original booking at a different venue cancelled, due to a power failure (after the storms), Hogarths provided us with a private dining experience that we loved. The welcome, the room and the food were first class. I have previously attended wedding receptions at Hogarths and the food and venue were great on both those occasions. However I just feel the restaurant manager ‘Matthew’ and the team really deserve special mention for the quick turn around and service they provided us. Thank you team!

Stayed overnight while on a course at the hotel. Room spotlessly clean and had everything I needed. Shower not easy to work, could of done with instructions, but I could of asked and didnt.Food eaten in restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. Good quality ingredients used. Staff were very friendly and polite!!Will visit again and would recommend.

We went to Hogarths for our family Christmas lunch for the third year running, and it was even better than previous years. Food was amazing (who knew a Mushroom Soup could taste so good?). There was a lovely festive atmosphere and all the staff were great (particularly Maura and Josh) and couldn't do enough for us. We will hopefully be back next year. Thank you.

Attended this establishment for a Christmas meal with a church connect group.Good place friendly staff and the meal was reasonable but nothing exciting to report. Just a standard Christmas meal.Shocked how overpriced the drinks were. I just had the one. I would go back again.

Had a lovely special meal here on Wednesday 4th December.Meal was very nice, very attentive waitress Unfortunately I cannot remember her name.Nice romantic decor to the dining area.

I visited for a 2 day work event and couldn’t fault the place. Food was fantastic throughout my stay, bedroom was spacious with lovely views. The staff are exceptionally friendly with a special mention to Richard Westley on Reception who is extremely professional whilst being warm and welcoming.

Although a little pricey, afternoon tea at Hogarths was a real treat. All sandwiches and cakes were fresh excellently prepared and presented. Additionally, if you do not like particular item just ask for a change - excellent.

Fabulous everything was perfect. Dog friendly so we could take our pooch. We were invited for a wedding fabulous location. Fabulous food. Lovely room lovely food.

Como parte de un fin de semana de celebraciones, el viernes celebramos el 90 cumpleaños de mi papá con un refrigerio en el bar de este hotel tan encantador. La comida era de primera clase, y el servicio era algo de lo que el hotel puede estar muy orgulloso. Todo el personal fue una delicia y no podría haber sido más servicial. Gracias por ayudarme a hacer que el día de mi papá sea tan especial.

Me alojé aquí recientemente para una boda. El personal que dirigió la boda fue increíble, pero el personal de recepción no estaba interesado en relacionarse con los visitantes. Me asignaron una habitación llamada Julio y me pagaron estúpidamente en el check in. El baño era completamente deficiente en comparación con otros baños que mis familiares y amigos tenían como suites, muy por debajo de los estándares de Premier Inn, donde normalmente me quedo más del doble del precio. Sin embargo, lo peor fue que la habitación apestaba a pozo negro. Y era imposible mantener abierta la ventana con marco de madera despegada para tratar de ventilar la habitación. Abrí la puerta, pero lo único que hice fue llenar el pasillo con el mismo olor desagradable. La recepción no fue de ninguna ayuda. El personal de limpieza era encantador y no tenía nada de culpa, intentaron rectificarlo con ambientadores, pero cuando dejé que todos mis parientes / amigos abrieran la puerta y olfatearon, todos estuvieron de acuerdo en que era asqueroso. ¡O la fontanería o algo muy malo y sucedió en esa habitación! Al final me metí en otra habitación de invitados a la boda con ellos para evitar la experiencia totalmente inaceptable de estar más de 10 segundos en la habitación llamada July. ¡Evita esta habitación como la peste! ! ! !

We attended a charity dinner and dance event the food was served nice and hot. The staff were very efficient and professional whilst being friendly. the hotel is immaculate and set in beautiful grounds.

We joined a celebratory birthday lunch with friends on Sunday at Hogarth’s, we have a wonderful time, the food was lovely and the setting fantastic. The service was excellent too. Would highly recommend the venue to others.

Visited today (28/09/2019) for lunch with my mom. It was very busy so I am glad we booked. The meal (blade of beef) was wonderful, we ordered extra veg which we did not really need as the meal was plentyfull as it came. Managed to find room for desert after letting the mains go down for half an hour, staff were great & did not rush us. Relaxing afternoon will definately return.

I have stayed several times at this wonderful hotel as a business traveller and it never disappoints. The service is friendly, efficient and welcoming and the prices are very reasonable. The rooms are always immaculate and the restaurant and bar areas serve a good range of food and rink options. The location is very peaceful surrounded by gardens and the very best part are the staff that always make you feel welcome. I stay at hotels all over the UK and this is consistently the best in terms of friendliness and professionalism. Keep up the great work !!!

Really nice looking hotel, wonderful location. Nice looking room , hotel situated In the country. However bath mixer faulty. Food mediocre. Service just OK . Could be friendlier.

Perfect wedding! But disappointing bedroom experience.

This hotel is set in beautiful grounds, and i can see why it is so popular for weddings. Plenty of parking, nice reception, warm welcome, easy check in, lovely room. Indeed, staff very friendly and obliging. All good. Lovely meal with friends, food excellent, service of a very high standard too. As I expected. My two downsides to this stay: bar prices excessive; I was looking forward to a few pints but at £12.80 for two drinks, my wife and me were pleased we bought a bottle of wine with us, which we enjoyed sharing in our room later in the evening. I’m not tight, but on a point of principle I only had the one pint - a little more sensible and I’d have happily spent more. Also, we were woken at 3.55am by two guests having ‘a domestic’ in the corridor outside the room. It went on for about 25 minutes, and though my wife rang reception, she felt the person she spoke to had no interest in pursuing her concern. My wife’s other observation is that the bathroom facilities were poor for the money we paid for the night: a small shampoo and shower gel doesn’t compare well with other hotels of a similar standard we’ve stayed at. I’m being a bit finicky, maybe, but sometimes the little added touches go a long way. In fairness, other members of our group mentioned this too. But all in all a lovely hotel, great staff, excellent breakfast by the way, and much to be commended. We just had to catch up on some sleep when we arrived back home late morning!

The hotel it’s self looks 5* when you walk through the doors and it gets better the more you see. We were there for a 60th birthday afternoon tea all I can say is WOW!!! The ambiance & attention to detail was absolutely fabulous. The staff were amazing a real cut above some of Solihull’s other hotels. But 2 members of staff stood out and they were Leah & Robert nothing was to much trouble for them. The afternoon tea was divine from the selection of savouries(the salmon & spinach tarts were served warm)the cakes, trifles, many other little gems were beyond belief. There were 10 of us and no complaints from our party at all. I’ll definitely be spreading the word.

We got married at Hogarths so after several years we were excited to see how it had grown and the changes made. We booked in for Sunday Lunch. We were seated at a table over looking the grounds which was nice. 3 course sunday menu priced at £24.95 on the face of it for the venue seemed reasonable and 2 course kids menu £10. Howver the issue throughout was the service, staff seemed reactive rather than proactive, happy to chat to each other while setting empty tables rather than focussing on the diners they had. The best examples were that we had finished and after 15mins I had to get up and ask for the bill. other diners had to request further drinks rather than the subtle service you would expect. Plates left on the tables for considerable time between courses.

Booked for a family reunion midway between hometowns through Big, Little Breaks on a DBB deal. The offer was very reasonable with an allowance given for dinner. We needed 9 rooms and an early dinner booking. Staff helpful and professional, rooms good with L’Occitane toiletries. We had early drinks in the shepherds huts to accommodate us - heated in lovely grounds. Dinner choice was good and nobody was disappointed with their food. Breakfast if it hadn’t been a buffet would have put my score to a 5!

went to Hogarths for murder mystery weekend, the show was good anmd the service from Hogarths was excellent, really excellent staff and service and the rooms were brilliant

We booked into the hotel for a family lunch on the day following our daughter's wedding - it also coincided with Fathers Day. We were helped and guided all the way through by Sophie Mears the Sales Executive of Hogarths who could not have been more helpful. Sophie guided us through the whole process and made excellent suggestions for the menus and wine.

Hogarth's is our local Hotel & Restaurant but for some reason we had not visited for some time.

Went to Hogarths on Saturday with two very good friends for an evening meal. The service and food were excellent as usual. And the live music was great. The outlook onto the garden just added to, what was a great evening. Thank you all.

Hogarths is now one of our firm favourites both for food and just popping in for a coffee and cake. It’s set in a wonderful setting overlooking a beautiful garden. The coffee is very good and if you feel peckish the thrice cooked chips are heavenly! The staff are all very friendly too!

Just home from the Mayors Ball. For the first time it was here, at Hogarths. The best so far (I've attended a few!) Lovely venue, great service, fab food. Fingers crossed it will be held here again next year!

Visited with my wife after taking our dog to a local veterinary hospital. Room was spotless and comfortable. All staff were warm and welcoming, without exception. Food was of an excellent standard. Would highly recommend to couples or people travelling with their dog. Only one thing missing, a dog waste bin anywhere near the hotel. But the grounds were spotless, so all those with dogs had been well trained.

Excellent service, friendly staff, all your needs catered for. Stayed with a friend whilst attending Crufts. This hotel is well located for visiting NEC. Rooms are spacious and bed linen lovely everything you need. Talented chef and excellent staff. Dined in the brasserie all dishes were excellent couldn't fault our meal and very good value. Really nice atmosphere, lovely grounds. Staff should be commended for their service they made you feel very relaxed, very easy to have a chat with whilst being very efficient. Breakfast like are evening meal was excellent. Fabulous choice catering for all. Only negative is that I couldn't stay longer l will definitely be booking again for next year.

Eating here seems to be a lottery. First night we stayed, I had a goats cheese starter followed by a chicken flatbread. Both perfectly ok. My wife chose badly, with anaemic looking pil pil prawns followed by a pad Thai from Hell. Following night I played safe (I thought) and chose a burger which turned out to be straight from Captain Birdseye’s larder - rubbery, greasy and gamey. There’s a couple of pubs locally, both called The Boot, that do much better food than this.

Stayed here for one night after a day of travelling. Reception staff friendly and efficient. Booked on for evening meal there and then. Not disappointed with the room at all, big double bed, tea and coffee facilities and a good sized bathroom. Would stay again.

Stayed here on business Saturday 9th. Hotel was lovley, staff were very accommodating and went above and beyond with a few extra requests. Meals were out of this world also, superb chef. Only let down was cleanliness of the bathroom. Dirty rings on the floor where items had not been moved to clean. Mould on the shower screen joint and seal. Fan was filthy. Would stay again as everything else was top, just the bathroom a let down. Shame as they have a lovley LED lit spa bath.

Stayed here for one night (Feb 2019) and the check in was quick and the room was amazing, the most comfortable huge I have ever slept on. Decor was just perfect and smart. Bathroom was great and stylish. Plenty of safe parking and great location.

A few weeks ago I was honoured to be bridesmaid at my best friends wedding myself, the bride and a few others stayed the night before the wedding and then we all stayed following the reception.

Booked a table for 2 for Sunday lunch after a recommendation from a friend. It was fairly busy and a few people having afternoon teas plus a baby shower celebration. We had the Sunday lunch menu. We had smoked salmon starter followed by the roast beef dinner. The food was absolutely delicious. Loads of salmon on the starter. The main course was superb, delicious roast beef, Yorkshire pudding & roast potatoes with extra dishes of roasted root vegetable, cauliflower cheese and extra jugs of real gravy. Will definitely return.

So I was on a business visit in January 19 -- checked in to hotel and was given the "October" room which on arrival seemed really nice. Very loud fan noise from below which turned out to be the extractor fan from the kitchen. I was informed that this would be "switched off at 10pm before bed time" (how they knew I would be up until then I am not sure). At 10.50pm I rang back down asking why fan was still running -advised it would be sorted straight away - which to be fair it was. An hour then of listening to the kitchen/ bar de- bottle and re bottle was a pleasure but all quiet by about mid night. If you are keen to be woken at 6.45am by what sounds like a road sweeper going through your room then "October" is for you without a doubt. If you are on a visit that is planned to have a little snooze then suggest "October" not for you. The fan seemingly runs all day - it really is a joy. When I complained in the morning I was advised "we wont put you there again" - wow thanks. So, watch out for "October"

Went lunch time for Tapas (they actually call them "Small Plates" and enjoyed 8 vegetarian dishes between 3 of us.. There was a nice selection on offer both vegetarian and meat/fish dishes.. The service was friendly and prompt.

Really nice interiors, friendly team. Room was a bit noisy in the morning but overall a very nice stay. I’d recommend!

We booked the NYE Gala night. Warm welcome. Fizz and canapés to start, very tasty too. Room was well set out, had a intimate feel, lit well. Table well dressed with lots of party bits, hats, horns etc. Have to say the food was very good and issue re starter choices sorted without fuss. Steak was the best I’ve had at an event where catering is always a challenge given the numbers. All of us commented on how good it was. Refreshing sorbet between courses and delightful desert. Wine prices and choices were good. Attentive and friendly team. DJ played a great mix of music, new and old and dance floor was well used. Room got a bit hot, given the mild night the terrace doors were opened, very welcome. Fireworks after the countdown, where all gathered in the garden, was a nice touch. Whilst its always about the company you’re with, this was the best New Years Eve event we’ve been to in a long while and beats the Metropole, St Georges Park, St Johns Solihull, Hotel Du Vin and the Arden in terms of food, music and venue. Highly recommend, we had a great night.

We visited Hogarths yesterday - it was a surprise 40th Birthday celebration for myself; booked by my sister in law back in September. We had a group of 16, comprising 9 adults and 7 children, ages ranging from 3 to 12 years old. We were seated at 1pm, but it was almost 2pm before we were served our first course of afternoon tea. I have to say the food and presentation were great. However it went downhill from there. We had been promised a second fill up round of the savoury course; and we sat, waiting and waiting, whilst the children got bored and fractious. We complained only to be told there was a delay because the kitchen was catering for a wedding. This annoyed us as the wedding was not our fault; and indeed we had watched other diners seated after us served their food and desserts, and settle their bill before we had even received our fill-up course! The second course duly arrived, then the desserts shortly after at nearly 4pm. This was very rushed to the extent the serving staff had failed to clear away our dirty plates etc. We were offered boxes for uneaten scones etc. Finally when we were given our bill, the staff had deducted 10% as a gesture of goodwill, but had not deducted the correct amount of deposit that had been paid previously, so this had to be rectified. Needless to say we declined to leave a tip. My poor sister in law was mortified, as she felt it was her fault, which of course it was not. All I can say is that Hogarths should not take bookings for their restaurant alongside their weddings, as their staff obviously can't cope with both. We have had good experiences at Hogarths before, but the staff just seemed unable to cope yesterday, and a token amount off the bill was really not enough to redeem what should have been a lovely family occasion for us.

I have visited Hogarths’s restaurant many times in the past, including the Christmas period, so do have a benchmark for comparison. Our party of five arrived well before the time when the table was booked and sat in the very hectic bar area. In addition to a reasonably full restaurant, there were two other events in progress; a Christmas party and a private function. After sitting for a while, we got our own drinks from the bar and went to announce that we had arrived. There was no one around to report to and had to stop one of the waiters who were flying around. Menus were brought and then there was a long wait before having to again ask for the orders to be taken, along with some further drink requests. More time passed; no drinks. Again, went looking for someone to help and saw a table with what looked like our drinks and after discussion with a waitress, went back, grabbed our coats and went in. The chilled drinks had been on the table for some time.

We visited for Sunday lunch a few weeks previously had had a very enjoyable experience. We therefore booked to try festive afternoon tea.

We went to Hogarths last night for our annual Christmas get together and what a wonderful evening we had, our best year yet. We chose from the Christmas menu which was excellent value. The food was delicious and beautifully presented and the service was excellent and very professional. The atmosphere was sophisticated and with a general social hum and it felt very seasonal. I would certainly recommend dining at Hogarths!

We had a lovely meal and delicious cocktails here! The restaurant is modern and welcoming. The staff are attentive and the menu is diverse, catering for a variety tastes and budgets. We had a fab time!

Después de 5 semanas en este magnífico refugio, es justo agradecer a todo el equipo por tratarme tan bien durante mi estadía prolongada. Nada de lo que pido se considera demasiado para ellos y toda la experiencia ha sido cómoda, acogedora y personal. Hogarths se encuentra en una zona rural en un hermoso terreno. (y la comida es deliciosa, especialmente la selección de opciones saludables). Muchas gracias a todos.

Went with a family group to celebrate my birthday. Afternoon tea worst I have ever had.

Habíamos reservado un grupo de 15 para la cena, pre-ordenando comida para hacer el proceso más fácil ya que teníamos un número de niños con nosotros. Nos saludaron calurosamente a la llegada y claramente el personal estaba muy bien preparado, a pesar de que el hotel organiza una boda y muchos otros grupos grandes. La comida era correcta y llegó tan pronto como nos sentamos. De hecho, el hotel sabía lo que habíamos pedido incluso mejor que nosotros. Todos los miembros de nuestro grupo estaban encantados con la comida, desde la simple salchicha y el puré para los niños hasta la lubina perfecta e imaginativa. No deberíamos haber tenido postres, pero el alaska al horno parecía demasiado bueno para resistir y fue incluso mejor de lo esperado. Hicimos las cosas lo más difíciles posible para el personal, cambiamos de lugar durante la noche y nos distraemos constantemente con la conversación y el control de los niños, pero fueron pacientes, profesionales y amables. También teníamos la misma mesa para el desayuno a la mañana siguiente y éramos aún más caóticos, entrando y saliendo en dribs y monos. Una vez más, el servicio era perfecto y la comida excelente. Mención especial debe ir a Leah para el servicio por la noche: se inclinó hacia atrás para satisfacer todas las solicitudes y se aseguró de que toda la comida funcionara perfectamente.

He visitado varias veces aquí en los últimos años, principalmente relacionados con el trabajo / eventos de redes. El lugar es una "gema" oculta. Ubicado en acres de hermosos jardines, tranquilos y tranquilos, definitivamente merece una visita si no ha estado allí antes. Hotel is on lovely grounds and looking very clean .

I came here last month with my husband as a recommendation for afternoon tea. The hotel is on beautiful grounds and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. We were greeted by a lady named Leanne who seated us, explained the menu thoroughly and accommodated us throughout. She was a delight and our whole experience was lovely. We will definitely visit again and I have recommended it to our friends and work colleagues.

I came here for my goddaughters wedding in March, and stayed overnight. I have to say the food was exceptional, 10 out of 10. I have seen people moaning on trip advisor but I am not sure what they expect. The room we had was wonderful and again I could not fault it. The eventful part was the alarm going off in the middle of the night, (some fault) and I left my suit in the room!! This was returned thanks. The only downside was that most items at breakfast were luke warm at best. After the fantastic day I had I expected better. I would recommend, but if I stayed again I would not have the breakfast.

Hogarths couldn't have any made our event any more special, despite it being a busy day for them they made us feel like we were the most important guests there.

My daughter, 2 cousins and myself went for afternoon tea on sat last and I have to say it was a wonderful treat. Service was impeccable and food was delightful. We were offered the opportunity to change some of the choices available, which we declined as we wanted to experience the full effect. No shortage of tea or coffee. Overall a wonderful experience which is highly recommended .

The food, staff and surroundings are excellent but there is one draw back when booking for Sunday Lunch - afternoon tea parties especially large groups! Yesterday to our horror a Wedding Shower of over 10 ladies with a toddler and screaming baby were being served afternoon tea and this was at 1.00 p.m There were at least another 4 tables having afternoon tea whilst we had booked the Sunday Lunch menu which was excellent.

Four of us went for a double birthday celebration. Best afternoon tea we've had.

Firstly i must advise... You NEED to order the tapas! They are so so tasty! Food was lovely and service came with a smile, nothing was any bother. Lovely atmosphere for a lovely night ☺️

As one of the party commented this was the probably the slowest service he could recall. And added this was when the restaurant was not even busy. Another person joked the kitchen staff must have gone home. We had a main course 2 hours after arriving. The food when did arrive was awful. The steak medium rare was cooked to well done and for more than £30 was poor quality and poor taste. Not a single person at the table enjoyed their meal. And there was no real service . So will be talked about for a long time as the infamous place never to revisit again.

I came for afternoon tea with two friends, we were made very welcome and we were looked after by Leanne. She made sure we had plenty of drinks and made sure we had enough food. Her service was excellent. We didn’t feel rushed and would love to visit again soon!

We came for our 20th anniversary having been for afternoon tea previously which was excellent. The restaurant was full of corporate guests on large tables (not their fault being residents of the hotel)which wans't really the atmosphere we were looking for. The service was slow and lacked sparkle and the menu differed from that advertised on the website meaning we were disappointed with the choice available. When the food did come it was uninspiring and bland. Given our previous excellent experience, this was really disappointing.

Came here with my hubby for our anniversary, the place completely lacks in atmosphere there was no music on, it was very stiff in there! They went to seat us on a tiny table for two almost in the middle of the walkway, then seated us on a better table but all in a row, tables are not set up correctly, think it’s just had a refurb but looked better before! The outside is gorgeous but inside was just lacking something....

We love this place! Opulent surroundings, delicious food and a view to die for - and super friendly staff to boot!

Went to Hogarths for a murder mystery evening. We weren't allowed into the Music Room before the 7.30pm start (we had arrived at 7pm for a drink before our meal as per our information). Bar area was very overcrowded and the bar service was slow. Music Room was long and quite narrow and again overcrowded, plus with the disco next door, meant it was very difficult to hear the actors. Small bar in the Music Room was slow in serving too. On the plus side the food was excellent. If future events such as this are held here, Hogarths need to up their game and look after their guests a little better by not cramming them in (using a better room) and providing sufficient bar staff.

Took my mum for a treat and it didn't disappoint. Service was very attentive. Food was excellent. Will definitely visit again.

An absolute gem, close enough but not too close to the NEC! Fabulous room, one of the best beds with the most luxurious bedding I've ever slept in. Great service in the restaurant and reception

Tenía un encantador almuerzo en Hogarths Solihull hoy. La comida, el ambiente y la ubicación era genial. Sin embargo Kirsty (que está embarazada) se ofreció el servicio de atención al cliente que realmente superó nuestras expectativas y nos hizo la visita genial!

Very enjoyable experience. So much food had to bring some home in a doggy bag! Customer service from Leanne was second to none. She went to so much trouble to explain everything.

14 of us celebrated a friend's birthday by having afternoon tea at Hogarths. The service by Leanne was second to none. She explained the order of food, drinks etc, the content of the food and she attended to our individual requests with patience and respect. The sandwiches, cakes and desserts were very well received by all. The pots of tea and coffee were endless. Definitely one of the best afternoon teas and service I have experienced.

Was recommended to come here for lunch by a friend and it did not disappoint. I was greeted by a lovely young lady called Leanne who went above and beyond to ensure our first time here was splendid. Popped in with my husband and children for a bite to eat and I have to say it hit the spot! Even though it was very busy staff were very attentative and smiling! Food was of a very high standard and fresh!

Attended for my nieces wedding day. The main area was full and very busy. The gardens looked beautiful in the snow for the family photos.

we visited this hotel for lunch recently, it was my wife's birthday so i wanted everything to go well, i need not have worried, when we arrived our window table was waiting for us, our food was excellent, we were looked after by our waitress, susie, her friendly care and attention to us made an enjoyable day a special day.

Although phoned to book; 1 non-meat eater and 1 that does not like mayo on anything seemed to struggle to get it right still on the day. After finishing sandwiches waited 45 mins for cakes etc to follow as free waiting on staff were moving the tables and chairs around us for the evening layout. When we told the senior of our disappointment, he nodded to show taking on board what we were saying, however, a sorry would have been appreciated. Will not return and over-priced in my opinion!

Permítanme decir que el personal de la recepción fue genial. Sin embargo al llegar para una relajada tarde y noche, nos encontramos con un parque de coches y tener que sentarse y WAITFOR /un espacio. Había algún tipo de evento de navidad en los jardines y una fiesta de boda en la suite de fiesta.

Pretty good, best cakes I’ve had with an afternoon tea, delightful. Scones were excellent. Savories nice too especially the mini sausage rolls. Service a little slow. Not much atmos. Hotel is nicely decorated for Christmas inside, outside looked a bit sparse though. Overall very enjoyable. Would recommend.

Ha sido un tiempo desde la última vez que visitamos Hogarths, qué han hecho con él? Era cálida y única en aquellos días. Ahora se pierde mucho carácter. En cuanto a la comida. . . . . El menú principal consta de besugo o filete, muy poco alternativa, a menos que quería una burguesía! !
