Go to place for coffee and sandwich in Solihull for us.

Their own brand bottled water has bits floating in it and isn't clear. Looks like they've just scooped it out of a toilet. Food was fine but the water has put me off

Excellent service with a smile, lovely food. And very helpful when I lost my iPad. The best Pret I’ve ever been to. Consistently great service.

Ok - food selection isn’t as good as some other Prets (in London), but coffee is good, and tends to be easy to get a seat in this store.

I ordered the food at 09.12 am to come immediately. I received a message saying it would be delivered between 9.30-9.40 am. It arrived at 10.10 am.

I love Pret's coffee, but it seems such a retrograde step that, instead of the china mugs that we were drinking our flat whites out of in the Solihull coffee shop a year or two back, we're now served in disposable takeaway cups. What happened to the notion of minimising the disposable waste that litters our world? And instead of a plate we now have to eat a pastry off a sheet of greaseproof paper (we were given 14 sheets of the stuff today and we only had one pastry each for the three of us!). The cutlery is wood, or maybe bamboo, I couldn't be sure. Is there a limitless supply of that on the planet? And Pret seems so expensive these days - a ham and cheese croissant that was costing me £2.15 four or five years ago is now £3.50. Who invented that kind of inflation figure? Of course you could subscribe to the Pret Club at £30 per month - yikes! It gets you a 20% discount but you've got to spend £1800 a year to break even! I'm afraid I'm falling out of love with Pret. Shame, because I like their coffee.

The food is always lovely in Pret. So is the coffee. So many big chains use coffee grounds that taste like grit in them! Pret is always nice, clean and staff pleasant! Croissants are scrumptious

Called onto Pret while shopping in Solihull had 2 lovely de caf lattes and a fruit cookie beautiful excellent service very pleased. Well worth a visit ideal location.

Had a hot wrap which about 1/3 of the wrap was stuck to the carboard wrap. So thing was a mess to eat. Should have swapped it but I was in a rush and they where busy. Avoid the hot chicken wrap

Pret in Solihull is just so handy and great. You know what you get and the service is good. I always enjoy the coffee. Just wished the opened earlier.

I object to drinking from disposable cups when I have paid to eat and drink in! There is no need for this appalling waste and the quality of the drink is diminished compared to a proper cup. Also I have noticed that shrinkflation is happening here. The baguettes are definitely much smaller than the last time I ate here. I will be avoiding this place as there are plenty of other cafes to choose from in Solihull.

Egg sandwich and crisps, plus an Earl Grey tea came to £8.15. This price is a joke, surely? On the positive side, the change to the seating on the rear left makes the downstairs of this branch seem less messy. And the place seemed cleaner than my last few visits, when it felt scruffy and neglected. That said, I'm wondering whether I can justify continuing to fork out for Pret at these prices. The sandwiches are as tasty as ever, but the rest is only average.

Food is decent, as per all Prets. However staff appeared to be robotic at the counter as it was busy period, not a sign of friendliness. Tables were very sticky and there was some papers on the floor too.

Stupidest opening times, and staff tend to close the store up to 20 minutes before the written closing time. Anyone that works or commutes can’t get a coffee because it’s not open when they start their journey, and it’s closed by the time they get home, so what’s the point in buying the Prêt subscription (which is going up in price much faster than prices are going up)

Every morning I get my coffee and the staff are always so happy and the coffee is really good thank you Solihull pret

Fab fresh produce and the guy with glasses made such an effort to help us and help my son choose a milkshake. He was warm, welcoming and great embassador for Pret

The salad and drink was lovely. A lovely atmosphere.

Given that this is just a prepared sandwich bar, it's difficult to give a good rating, but there are areas for improvement. The sandwich selection was very poor and very untidy. Labelling was inadequate, so a game of 'guess the filling' was needed. The hot selection was poor, as was the availability of soup. The service was at best indifferent when paying for goods. The halloumi and falafel wrap was just awful. A Moroccan tasting sludge, the falafel, was accompanied by large pieces of halloumi. A crayfish and rocket dandwich was devoid of mayo, and my friend left it as it was stuffed full of rocket, which, in the absence of mayonnaise, made for a rather 'dry' eating quality. We asked if there were sachets of mayonnaise, there weren't and we were offered tomato sauce as an alternative. Says it all, really.

Love the falafel and houmous salad. But honestly, what happened to the butter?? That loses the star just for that, and the new cardboard bread.

Visited today. Had three teas. One latte. One hot sandwich. Two packets crisps. Two choc bars and two pastries. Almost £30. Seems really expensive. Food and drinks were all fine but just seems expensive. Wasn’t given a receipt (thought it was law to at least be offered one?’ To be able to check everything. Place was clean enough. Toilets fine. Can’t really give any more than 3 */average rating as it was just kind of …. Ok.

Zero choice for breakfast l! The egg and avocado banquette is served like every leap year! This use to be my cafe of choice but avoid avoid avoid

Popped in for lunch and had my favourite sandwich from here- the Chicken Caesar Bacon Baguette. It was yummy, fresh and delicious. Service was quick but the staff member seemed to lose interest as once I’d tapped to pay I had to ask them if it had gone through. I didn’t get a thank you/goodbye. There was space to sit and eat which was clean.

Asked for the coffees not to be filled up too much to the top and they were which makes them watery, too hot and hard to drink

The food is always very good, except that I have to bring my own butter as there is only butter on 1 side of sandwiches. Plus the music is far too loud. This makes everyone shout at each other and as such it is very difficult to have a conversation with the person next to you.

I wasn't sure if I should write this review as I am regular customer of Pret and I have been visiting Solihull with my family to dine in your Solihull branch. I can say that your Team is great and hardworking, I always receive positive remarks every time I visit, they even remember our drinks orders and offering free babycino for my baby which is a lovely gesture. I visited again on Thursday and witnessed store manager being bullied by someone who seems to work in Pret too but it's hard to say as the male had no uniform, he was around 40 with dark hair. I could see the Team was extremely stressed during his visit he was walking around with manager pointing out something in the fridges, his body language was clearly negative and intimidating I have been working in management Team for years myself and would never treat staff with this kind of attitude . I then witnessed manager crying and being hugged by another member of staff. I'm giving you 1 star review as a lesson to teach you that this kind of attitude towards your staff is unacceptable. Any decent human being would support their staff , shame on you pret

Shop closes so early in the evening at 3:30. It'd have been great if the shop is open atleast until 5.

Opening hours now 9 to 3.30. No chance for breakfast before work and no chance for afternoon coffee ! What's the problem . Only pret in the country wit such short opening hours !!!⁷

Always fantastic service, especially from Ann and Kasia, who regularly get my drink ready before I reach the counter, which enables me to be on my way quickly. Amazing customer service, all done with a smile!

Always enjoyed going to Pret but they seem to have taken more and more off the menu, like the high fibre muffin and now the gingerbread man and adding avocado into the cray fish sandwich, not everyone likes avocado 🥑

Really very dirty, the place is really dirty and the inside counter where they make drinks is really kept in a messy and dirty way. The outside counter even worse. It lacks hygiene. The windows of the stairs horrible to say the least nefarious. The mirrors on the wall dirty. Absurd indeed.

The place is absolutely filthy. Drips down the sides of the tables, seating has old food in the back crease and the floor after the young lady's effort to sweep it was a joke. Who is training these people? The last time I was in there I cleaned my own table with the spray and cloth. It's a shame because it's the only place you can get a good variety of vegan food. please do something.

Place is packed and they are charging for eating in but closed upstairs at 2.30 an hour and a half before closing so that they can get out on time !!!!! Mo where to sit and drink or eat !

Rude manager was shocked with customer service extremely rude person acted very threatening, would never go back here again.

I witnessed the store manager called ZAYNAAB who spoke so disgustly to a family especially towards a pregnant lady. How disgraceful she swore directly to this lady. Pret you should be ashamed of Zaynaab what a disgusting girl. Good riddance horrible manager. Appalling!

Lovely food and atmosphere is quite chilled

Food is high quality but that comes at a price. Service can be slow. Seating areas always seem dimly lit and dark.

Used to be great but have returned to the area and revisited over the past 2 weeks. EVERY visit, they are out of fresh ingredients for the smoothies, no shortbread after 1pm and no alternative when asked and on one occasion ONLY serving hot drinks as not enough staff to offer cold drinks???!!!! Seriously need to get your act together and sort out your ordering system. Also opening hours on door are completely different to online!

I must use a Pret more often. I had the most delicious bread roll here at lunch time

Love the food and drink options, but service here is not the best I have had in a coffee shop. There is a lot of chatting among staff before serving customers and not very engaging when communicating with the customer. Wouldn't rush back to this branch.

We have been going to Pret Solihull since it opened. We have always welcomed and had good service. The last two weeks we have commented the staff have not been welcoming and verging on unfriendly. We ordered food with our coffees no napkins were offered until I asked we were given two for three of us, so I had to ask for more. The table and tray were dirty and dirty napkins left under our table. When i went to the toilet later the seat was completely wet and water was splattered on the floor. This was unhygienic as I had to clean it up before I could go. I have to say it was the same last week too. Not enough checks made to the facilities. There are so many other places to choose from, so I'll make sure we try somewhere else next week.

I will not be returning to Pret again especially as I'm paying full prices for a paper cup to sit in. It's utterly rediculous that the customer is not given the choice. Why would I pay full price with Pret for a coffee when I can go to a coffee shop just opposite and get my coffee served in a coffee cup. Good luck with staying open when around you in Solihull there are several good coffee shops and restaurants. I won't be returning.

The hoisen duck had more cucumber 🥒 in it than duck and there was some grit in one of my mouthfuls. Really disappointed.

Just stopped for a coffee. Used this Pret many times before and it's always clean, staff are nice and the coffees good.

We went there yesterday because the cafe opposite was full . The drinks weren't nice the service wasn't up to much with the serving staff being grumpy. Then the toilets was filthy seriously don't think the toilet seat has ever been cleaned neither has the floor and walls it stinks !

Poor choice for vegetarians, especially if you don’t like granary bread! Two types of toastie but neither suitable for vegetarians (one ham, one tuna). Macaroni cheese ruined by additions of kale and cauliflower. Opted to have a bread roll which should have come with a butter portion, only to be told by the server that there was no butter at all in the store! Wasn’t happy so put the roll back and ended up with nothing to eat. There are much better places to get a decent vegetarian lunch!

me and my bestie boo, kimmy, loved coming here until we discovered their blenders were “broken” for way over a week. now we’re getting suspicious🤨so we found a new fave drink (hot chocolate) and now suddenly that’s not available too? i would put 0 stars but clearly that is not an option.we also got locked out one time lol :/ if u like smoothies, frappes, shakes + many more, i wouldn’t suggest coming here bcos they will shun you.

Lovely fresh baguette sandwiches. Coffee a little weak for me but wife liked it. Super clean and very well staffed. Couldn't believe the good value (newbie).

Delivery driver was assigned about 5 mins after ordering. My delivery should’ve arrived between 12pm - 12:20pm. At 12:45 I contacted just eat and they said to contact them if it still hasn’t been delivered after another 10 mins. My order was delivered at 1:10pm. My drink and toastie were very cold!! Guess my food and drink was ready to pick up but was left to get cold! Horrible service

Came into Solihull city centre to grab something to eat early afternoon and was surprised to see how busy it was, I suppose everyone was making the most of eased restrictions. As we walked past pret a couple had just stood up so felt lucky to get their table. Ordering was straight forward and the ham on the ham and cheese toasty was very thick and worth the money. Nice that the world is seems to be straightening out again.

sent me food I didn’t even order. Said they tried ringing me but the number is unknown and isn’t even on my just eat profile.. won’t be ordering again

Visited today and it was clean and organised. Was able to get a table to sit and eat and service was quick. It wasn't a warm welcome, more business like rather than customer care based, also I felt there werent any customer service to speak of apart from getting the food out fast. I ordered a croissant, the choice was plain, understandable given the circumstances stores are facing now, however that was that literally, no knife or butter! I didn't want to sit there and knaw on it so asked for a knife, was given one quickly (again no words, just handed over), asked for butter five times politely before a response, which was a no! I asked what do you have instead? Was told nothing! A resounding no or we have nothing. Disappointed to be honest, a plain croissant is just that, plain, and so in my view became pret a manger, as plain as they were in providing an uncut plain crossiant with not even any suggestion of assistance, alternative or even a hint of trying to help or looking as if remotely interested. So all in all if I were to visit again I'd be inclined to literally get a takeaway and eat somewhere more suitable for eating!

A wonderfully effective place to catch Covid 19. No social distancing and people everywhere. Tables were full, queues to the door, staff wearing face masks incorrectly and no one bothering to check.

Ordered a range of items but only the coffee arrived. Pointed this out to the driver who said he’d go and pick up the rest of the order. He never returned. Pret rang me and, whilst apologetic, made no attempt to redeliver and expected me to chase a refund from Just-eat myself. Still hungry and down a service charge for a cup of spilt coffee.

This Pret located on the Solihull High Street within the Touchwood Shopping Centre. Has a downstairs seating area as well as a first floor seating area. Free Pret WiFi. For some reason this was missing from Google Maps so I added it on.

Prime spot on the high street with the usual offerings but the service is always quick and efficient which is more than can be said for Costa. The soup is always tasty!
