When my nan and I arrived at the airport this morning right before 3am one of the people already up and running was Celina@Pret a manger. Even at this ungodly hour she was brimming with energy while delivering refreshingly excellent customer service with an uplifting smile to keep you going through the day! This is all we needed before a 5 hour flight at stupid o'clock. Thank you so very much Celina, you're a diamond!!! Dziękujemy!

Travel through Birmingham airport on regular basis and always stop here for a coffee. It's second to none in my opinion and the staff are always so pleasant to deal with... Other reviews iv read say food very expensive but it's the airport and they no more expensive than most places here or in other airports. Great venue 😃

After queuing for 3 hours at airport security, we managed to get to grab some breakfast and we were greeted by the lovely Esther ! She asked how we were and we had a moan about the servre waiting and poor service at check in and she made our day by looking after us with her warmth and smile! Absolutely ridiculous prices, do you not feel ashamed?

I travel through Birmingham Airport frequently and always visit Pret for a snack or breakfast. The service and food are always super, but the cleanliness of the chairs, tables and highchairs is really appalling. I often wipe the tables if my young daughter is with me, and notice how dirty they are. The tables are often piled high with old cups and containers from other people. It’s not good enough in my opinion.

A cosy little shop in Birmingham Airport where you can grab a coffee, cake, and other food. There's a wide variety of food and beverages from juices, tea, coffee and water. You can also buy hot and/or cold food, such as paninis, toasties, fruit, yoghurt and cake - lots of healthy foods accommodating various dietary supplements. The staff are very hardworking and dedicated, going above and beyond in helping customers, especially when it gets very busy. I recommend going to Pret A Manger at Birmingham Airport- well worth getting food and drink here.

I’m getting to the stage where I just don’t understand the pricing anymore. Almost £8 for a salad to take away. The pricing has gone totally nuts since Covid - I assume they get away with that for now but it will catch up. It’s a last choice now.

Overpriced and disgusting… normal latte taste odd and the croissant are uncooked.

One of the best places to get a bite once past security at Birmingham Airport. The food is of the highest quality out of the options available and they make great coffee. The restaurant is centrally located where you can see departure boards and get to all gates

I work locally and i often take my team for brunch as service is excellent and welcoming. On this particular visit they had a delivery issue so the popular items were in short supply. will return again as this was a one-off.

Stale sandwiches, managed to only toast it on one side so it was rock hard while the other side was raw bread, terrible selection.

One star for the disgusting practice of adding roughly 20% more if you want to DINE IN! They post it in fine print and they ask you at checkout if you are dining in. Like every other person, you think about the environment and say, nah it's ok, don't pack it in a bag, sure i'll "dine in" and bam, you pay more than posted. They don't even warn you! This is not an ok practice and transparancy should be part of Pret A Mangers ethos, not ripping customers off!

Gone downhill. Won't be visiting again. Flat whites lukewarm, porridge mainly thick milk, no raspberry puree or honey available so tasteless. With a bacon roll, fruit and two waters cost was £26 takeaway. Suggest avoid.

Lovely staff allowed me to feed forward a lovely regular milk chai latte as I forgot to ask for oat milk in mine. They made me another and I made another passenger's day that bit nicer as I gave the milk one away

Standard Pret, which is great to have in the airport as at least there are basic standards. Friendly helpful staff. There's a 25 minute time limit, which is no bad thing as it prevents hogging of seats. Pity they close at 8pm, though we got in well before that

Good tea, which is rare at airports. Fast and friendly service.

The staff are brilliant with really quick service. A good range of sandwiches. As well as heated panini choices. Soup and cold drinks are available as is fruit and croissants and other pastries too as you would expect. Though the coffee choices are limited vs what you may expect elsewhere. For example no chai latte is available. The prices as you would expect in an airport are high.

Always good quality and always good service. Last visit I knocked over my turmeric late (lovely) and the replaced it immediately and were excellent cleaning it up.

A hot bacon roll is what I would request for my final meal. No pun intended but it really was to die for. The bread was just right, not too soft or hard, & there must’ve been half a pig on it at least! I didn’t expect much for £3.50, but boy that was the best :-)’’. They do a lovely cuppa too. Staff was good & friendly, & I was even asked if I wanted a receipt, which is rare in this day of you know what.

Used this venue for a change at the airport. Staff particularly attentive and helpful regarding gluten free options. Enjoyed our coffee and snacks. Not too much of a queue despite the early morning rush for flights,

Disappointed at this visit. Virtually no almond paste in the almond croissants, latte coffee all foam and 2/3's milk and lots of dirty tables.

I love, LOVE that there is a Pret A Manger in the Birmingham airport. It’s a pleasure to get some healthy food while traveling. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Pret is my favourite place to eat in the airport. I am so grateful for all the vegan options.

Only use Pret now for drinks/food when in departures. Coffee always good as are sandwiches. Seating usually available and pleasant staff.

This review isn't a reflection on the customer service. I'm giving it one star because of their lack of care for the environment. Considering that this company prints messages on their cups promoting environmental care, I was surprised to come here and find that everything is served with disposable plastic utensils, even if you're eating in. The cutlery is all plastic and the cups are disposable and come with plastic lids. There's no need and it's damaging to the environment.

We are fans of Pret and bought some sandwiches to take on our Jet2 flight to Palma as the food on the flight is awful and expensive. Quality was usual Pret standard, but much more expensive than normal, which is expensive anyway. We paid £4.70 for a classic club, which is a lot to pay.

Clean, polite staff and good coffee!

Sunday 14th July and we purchased some food here to take on board our flight to Kos, a much better option than purchasing food on the aircraft. We bought a Best Ever BLT, £3.45 and a chicken with avocado and basil £3.65, both were sandwiches. Normally Pret sandwiches are a safe bet, fresh and well filled, today we were a bit disappointed. The bread was a bit soggy which indicates they had been made some time. The BLT, certainly not the best ever, could have done with some more mayo and less lettuce and some of the avocado was hard and overall was a bit dry, not up to normal high standards, disappointing. The staff here were very efficient, they work hard and quickly, to minimise waiting times to be served, we waited a minute if that.

A huge range of products available (especially vegetarian and vegan options!). Ample seating and friendly staff too. I felt very comfortable here whiling away an hour before my flight boarded. Staff took the time (despite it being busy) to chat and ask questions. Good vibes!

Looking for a breakfast snack before a flight we headed to Pret. I settled for the bacon & egg brioche bun with my wife having the egg & sausage equivalent. At the till, coffee & Tea was added and cash extracted from pocket to pay. “I’ve just come on duty’ says the jovial guy serving, “so have this on me”. - thinking it was some sort of joke, the disbelief on my face must have shown so he added “have a great holiday!” Sure enough, the receipt announced “Joy Giveaways” and a total due of 0.00. Thanks Pret, you’ve just confirmed my thoughts of you being one of the High Streets best eateries.

Coffee and food ok. But the staff could learn some communication skills. The woman who just served me had little interest and got my order wrong 3 times. Spent too much time laughing and joking with her co workers. How did I feel as a valued customer. Zero. Chances of using pret next time. Zero. I had almost the same experience here last month but put it down to a one off. Going over to costa now perhaps they can do better.

Had the most wonderful customer service from an employee working at 6:30 am at the Birmingham international store . Went out of his way to make me feel welcome and the coffee was beautiful . Highly recomend and that man deserves a pay rise !

Best place for vegans in the airport. We were thoroughly impressed, lots of vegan options and new ones constantly being stocked on the shelf. I'm not usually a sandwich girl and it takes something for me to eat more than a bite but the "curried chickpea and mango chutney sandwich" made me want another one. The vegetable tagine soup was also delicious. Keep up the vegan vibes!!!!

I bought a fancy sandwich, no idea why as I wouldn't normally have ideas above my station, but it wasn't a patch on the Mature Cheddar & Pret Pickle one. I usually get 2 different types & we share, so only half the pain if you don't enjoy. There's so much to choose from here, & I'd swear some of those rolls would feed a family of 4. Why don't we ever get a receipt though?

Convenient when waiting in departure lounge. Very busy but managed to find a table. Had a sandwich which was very good, and coffee. Prices for coffees seemed high, but they also have a cup of filter coffee for 99p which was perfectly good for the price.

Always call in for a drink and maybe a snack when passing through departures. Exellent yet again and tasty sandwiches. Recommended if only want snack or coffee.

Food is generally nice and healthy enough but I don't fancy eating my sandwich beside someone cleaning the floors with a strong bleach smelling liquid while I eat. I appreciate it is late in the day but I've worked in retail before and I feel as though tasks such as this should be saved for when the store is closed and customers are no longer in the area

BHX Departure lounge location. The staff were messing about, calling across to each other about their personal lives and not being fully attentive to customers. Very unprofessional.

Always visit when going through departures if I have time to spare. Much better cup of tea than Costa. Price id reasonable and water much cheaper than the nearby vending machines.
